- Heating unit (1), in particular a fireplace, tiled stove or fireplace insert, for burning solid fuels such as logs, wood pressings such as briquettes or pellets, or mineral fuels such as coal or anthracite, having a heating-unit body (2), in which is provided a combustion chamber (3), which is bounded by side walls, a rear wall and a floor and has a combustion-chamber opening closable by a combustion-chamber door (4) which has at least one transparent panel (6), is guided for movement up and down in vertical guides fastened on the heating-unit body (2), and which can be moved into an open position and into a closed position via the vertical guides, wherein the at least one transparent panel (6) of the combustion-chamber door (4) can be transferred by pivoting movement out of its closed position, in which it is located in the vertical guides, into a maintenance position, in which it has been pivoted away from the combustion chamber (3), characterized in that the transparent panel (6), which can be pivoted into the maintenance position, and/or a panel frame (5), which is assigned to this panel (6), are/is arranged in a channel-like recess (11) of the heating-unit body (2) and the pivot axis (7) of the panel (6) and/or of the panel frame (5) extends within this channel-like recess (11), in that, in the closed state of the panel (6) and therefore in the closed position of the panel (6), the channel-like recess (11) can be closed by a cover (13), which extends to the panel (6) from an edge of the heating-unit body (2), and in that the transparent panel (6) of the combustion-chamber door (4) projects into the channel-like recess (11) of the heating-unit body (2) to the extent where the transparent panel (6) is visible above the cover (13) of the channel-like recess (11) and the combustion-chamber floor is located approximately at the same height level as the cover (13).
- Heating unit (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the transparent panel (6) is retained in a panel frame (5), which is arranged for translatory movement in lateral vertical guides of the heating-unit body (2) so that the transparent panel (6) can move up and down.
- Heating unit (1) according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that, in the maintenance position, the transparent panel (6) and/or the panel frame (5) are/is retained on a retaining element (9), which can be connected to the heating-unit body (2).
- Heating unit (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the retaining element (9) delimits the pivoting angle for the transparent panel (6) to take up the maintenance position.
- Heating unit (1) according to Claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the retaining element (9) is supported for sliding movement on the heating-unit body (2) .
- Heating unit (1) according to either of Claims 1 and 5, characterized in that the channel-like recess (11) can be closed by a pivotable cover (13).
- Heating unit (1) according to Claim 6, characterized in that the pivotable cover (11) can be connected to the panel .(6) and/or a panel frame (5).
- Heating unit (1) according to Claim 7, characterized in that, while the panel (6) and/or the panel frame (5) are/is pivoting, the cover (13) can be transferred automatically into a pivoted position, in which it extends approximately parallel to the panel (6) and/or the panel frame (5).
- Heating unit (1) according to one of Claims 5 to 7, characterized in that the cover (13) can be transferred into a pivoted maintenance position by an operator.
