DE102014212303 describes the production of a multi-layer circular fabric using a carrier fabric and an auxiliary fabric, the circular fabric thus created cannot be changed over the length of the circular fabric.

DE2000344 relates to the production of a thick fabric, whereby the individual fabric layers are connected to one another.

According to the state of the art, it is not possible to produce a circular woven fabric with multiple layers in partial areas of the cross section in a circular weaving process. However, a device is known from PCT, which raises and lowers the warp thread or - using the terms used in the following - the bringing of the warp thread into a first position and into a second position is permitted regardless of the position and movement of the weft thread or the loom or shuttle guiding the weft thread.

The invention disclosed here has the object of disclosing such a method.

Erfindungsgemäß wird dies durch den Anspruch 1 erreicht.According to the invention, this is achieved by claim 1.

Two threads are considered to be brought into engagement with one another if the threads are crossed with one another in the tensioned state. A weft thread and two warp threads are in engagement when the weft thread in the woven state is guided on one side of one warp thread and on the other side of the other warp thread.

A thread is fed past another thread when the thread and the further thread are not brought into engagement with one another. The threads are not crossed with each other.

The warp threads of the circular fabric can have different distances from one another. Furthermore, the surface of the circular fabric can be structured by weaving the warp threads and the weft thread.

The method can also be used in such a way that a multi-layer circular fabric is produced. The production of a multi-layer circular fabric is not part of the method according to the invention. The entire cross section of such a round fabric comprises several fabric layers. This is achieved in that a first weft thread is brought into engagement with first warp threads in a first position and on second warp threads is guided past in a second position and a second weft thread is brought past first warp threads in a second position and is brought into engagement with second warp threads in a first position.

The person skilled in the art is able to combine the above-described method for producing a multi-layer circular fabric in a partial area of the cross-section with the mentioned method for producing a multi-layer circular fabric.

For a better understanding of the invention, it is explained in more detail with reference to the following figures. The expert selects the guidance of the weft threads according to his experience.
  • Figure 1 shows in a greatly simplified representation a sectional view of a cross section of a circular fabric with a multi-layer structure in partial areas of the cross section.
  • Figure 2 shows, in an equally simplified representation, a sectional view of a cross section of a circular fabric with a multilayer structure extending over the entire cross section.

The person skilled in the art is undoubtedly in a position to combine the embodiments of the method according to the invention discussed below so that a hose comprises partial lengths with a multi-layered cross section in partial areas and further partial lengths with a multi-layered overall cross section.

In the Figures 1, 2 and in the associated description of the figures, the production of a round fabric with two fabric layers at least in partial areas of the cross-section is discussed. The person skilled in the art is undoubtedly able to produce three-layer or multi-layer cross-sections and combine these with one another as desired.

Figure 1 illustrates the production of a two-ply circular fabric 1 in partial areas of the cross-section on the basis of a sectional image of the cross-section. The cutting plane runs at right angles to the longitudinal axis 7 of the circular fabric 1. The in Figure 1 Round fabric 1, shown simplified by a dashed line, comprises a single-layer partial area 19 and a two-layer sub-area 20, the single-layer sub-area 19 directly adjoining the two-layer sub-area 20 and vice versa. In Figure 1 the weft thread 2 and the warp threads 11-18 are shown only in the two-layer sub-area 20.

This in Figure 1 Round fabric 1 shown is produced in one work step by means of a circular weaving process. The circular fabric 1 comprises a weft thread 2 and eight warp threads 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. The weft thread 2 is guided in four rounds 3, 4, 5, 6 around a longitudinal axis 7 of the circular fabric 1 and with woven into warp threads 11-18.

The warp threads 11-18 are referencing PCT / EP2016 / 069685 decoupled from a movement of the weft thread 1 between a first position and a second position. In the first position of a warp thread 11-18, the weft thread 1 can be brought into engagement with the one warp thread. In the second position, the weft thread 1 is guided past the one warp thread so that the weft thread is not brought into engagement with the one warp thread.

The in Figure 1 illustrated embodiment, the first position of a warp thread and the second position of a warp thread is achieved by a system of raising A and lowering B of the respective warp thread.

In order to produce the two-ply circular fabric 1 in a partial area of the cross-section, the warp threads 11, 13, 15, 17 are assigned to the first fabric ply 8. The warp threads 12, 14, 16, 18 are assigned to the second fabric layer 9. In the table below it is entered for the individual warp threads 11-18, depending on the tour 3-6 of the weft thread 2, whether the respective warp thread from the group of warp threads 11-18 is to be brought into a raised position or into a lowered position.

According to the weaving pattern shown in the table below, the weft thread 1 is interwoven with the warp threads 13, 17 in the first round 3. When guiding the weft thread 2 in the first tour 3, the warp threads 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18 are in a raised position A. The warp threads 13, 17 are in a lowered position B. The positions of the warp threads 11-18 in the second Passage 4, third passage 5 and fourth passage 6 of the weft thread 2 can be found in Table 1 below.

The single-layer partial area 19 of the cross section is produced by weaving the weft thread with the warp thread according to the prior art.
Figure imgb0001

Figure 2 illustrates the use of the method for producing a circular fabric in one process step, which circular fabric comprises a two-layer structure over the entire cross section. This in Figure 2 The method shown does not form part of the invention. Figure 2 shows a circular fabric 1 and a further circular fabric 1 ′, the further circular fabric 1 ′ being arranged in the interior of the circular fabric 1.

The method for producing a multi-layer round fabric 1, 1 'is essentially similar to that Figure 1 discussed procedures.

The circular fabric 1, 1 'comprises two weft threads 2, 2', the first fabric layer 8 being formed by the first weft thread 2 and the second fabric layer 9 being formed by the second weft thread 2 '. It is necessary to use at least two weft threads in order to avoid a bond between the circular fabrics 1, 1 '.

The warp threads 11, 13, 15, 17 are assigned to the first fabric layer 8. The warp threads 12, 14, 16, 18 are assigned to the second fabric layer 9. When using the weft threads 2, 2 ', the warp threads 11-18 are raised according to the following table Position A or brought into a lowered position B in order to produce an engagement between the respective weft thread and the respective warp thread.

Figure imgb0002
The first weft thread 2 is woven in a first round 3 and in a second round 4; the second weft thread 2 ′ is interwoven in a third round 5 and in a fourth round 6.
Figure imgb0002

  • Schussfaden 2 erster Rundgang 3, Schussfaden 2 zweiter Rundgang 4, Schussfaden 2' dritter Rundgang 5, Schussfaden 2' vierter Rundgang 6,
  • Schussfaden 2 erster Rundgang 3, Schussfaden 2' dritter Rundgang 5, Schussfaden 2 zweiter Rundgang 4, Schussfaden 2' vierter Rundgang 6.
The person skilled in the art selects the sequence of the weft threads 2, 2 'to be introduced according to his experience. For example, it is possible to insert the weft threads in the following order:
  • Weft thread 2 first round 3, weft thread 2 second round 4, weft thread 2 'third round 5, weft thread 2' fourth round 6,
  • Weft thread 2 first round 3, weft thread 2 'third round 5, weft thread 2 second round 4, weft thread 2' fourth round 6.

Figure 3 illustrates the transition from a two-layer partial area 20 of the cross section to a single-layer partial area 19 of the cross section. Similar to the one in Figure 1 The circular fabric discussed here comprises a weft thread 2 and warp threads 11-14 and 21-22, the two-layer sub-area 20 of the circular fabric 1 being reached by the warp threads 11-14. The single-layer sub-area 19 is reached by the warp threads 21, 22.

Figure imgb0003
The warp threads 11, 13 are assigned to the first fabric layer 8 and the warp threads 12, 14 are assigned to the second fabric layer 9. The weft thread 1 is guided in a first rounding 3 and in a second rounding 4 through the warp threads 11-14, 21-22, the warp threads being brought into a raised position A or a lowered position B according to the table below.
