Integral mufflers for rifles are characterized by the fact that they are not only placed on the muzzle, but extend almost completely or possibly completely over the gun barrel in the longitudinal direction and enclose this like a coat. The object of the invention is to provide an integral muffler of the type mentioned, which has an optimal guidance and arrangement on the gun barrel and allows the most effective and easy reduction of unwanted side effects of firing with little effort.
This object is achieved by a Intergralschalldämpfer with the features of
In the integral muffler according to the invention, a deflection device for deflecting the gas produced during the firing is arranged within the gun barrel in its longitudinal direction almost completely or completely enclosing housing. On the housing further from the internal thread in the longitudinal direction of the housing spaced guide surface for guiding the integral muffler is provided in the region of a running start of the gun barrel. As a result, the integral muffler can simply be slid over the barrel and mounted stress-free on the barrel without any noticeable transitions. Even without affecting the aesthetic overall impression of the rifle, the integral damper can thus be adapted particularly well to the design of the rifle. The integral muffler can not be recognized as an attachment, but rather gives the appearance of a thicker barrel. As a result, the properties of the rifle, e.g. Handling, focus, Mitschwingverhalten and leadership, to be maintained. The integral muffler is guided axially over the guide surface in the area of the barrel root and is fixed by the internal thread which fits to a standard thread at the muzzle. Within the housing, a trained for receiving the gun barrel inner tube is arranged, which limits the expansion space with an expansion chamber for receiving the resulting gas during firing. The inner tube shields the rifle barrel so that it is protected from the gas that is directed into the expansion chamber. For maintenance or cleaning, the integral muffler can be easily disassembled and easily re-attached to the gun barrel. Also a use of the rifle as a normal hunting weapon without silencer is possible. Then on the standard thread at the muzzle other Laufaufsätze, muzzle fire damper, muzzle caps or the like. Can be screwed.
In a preferred embodiment, the deflection device is formed by a diaphragm arrangement arranged in the housing and / or by a muzzle brake arranged in the housing. Due to the diaphragm arrangement, the flow of gas emerging from the muzzle during firing can be inhibited and a sudden escape of the gas into the air can be prevented. The expanding after a shot gas can relax so within the integral muffler, so that the sound energy emitted to the environment can be reduced. By means of a muzzle brake which is arranged within the housing in addition to the diaphragm arrangement or instead of the diaphragm arrangement, the combustion gas which emerges from the outlet opening during firing can likewise be deflected and directed back into an expansion space become. As a result, the energy of the combustion gas can also be reduced. In addition, the recoil can be reduced by the gas directed backwards and the resulting counter forces.
The inner tube can be held in a structurally advantageous embodiment at one end by the muzzle brake and at the other end by a guide bushing within the tubular housing. The guide bush is expediently inserted into the rear end of the housing facing the running start and preferably has the guide surface designed for the axial guidance of the integral muffler in the region of a running start.
The internal thread for mounting the integral muffler on a provided at the mouth of the gun barrel external thread may be provided in an expedient embodiment of the muzzle brake. Between the diaphragm assembly and the muzzle brake, a distance is preferably provided within the housing. As a result, voltages can be avoided.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the tubular housing is designed such that it has the same outer diameter as the extended diameter run-start. As a result, the barrel with the integral muffler mounted thereon has a uniform course.
The diaphragm assembly may consist of a body having a plurality of longitudinally spaced apart and separated by partitions chambers which are provided on two opposite sides with openings. The muzzle brake expediently contains radial through openings for deflecting the gas produced during the firing in the expansion space formed between the housing and the inner tube.
