Definitions

  • the invention relates to a pallet container with a pallet base, as well as with a folding wall ring which can be displaced between a set-up functional position and a folded rest position, and with a pallet cover which is held on the folding wall ring by means of at least one connecting means.
  • Such a pallet container is from the EP 2 256 051 B1 known.
  • a pallet container has a pallet base designed as a molded plastic part.
  • the pallet container also has four side walls which are connected to one another to form a folding wall ring which, in the functional position which has been set up, is inserted into a floor groove in an edge region of the pallet floor and is thus secured to the pallet floor.
  • a side wall of the folding wall ring is also held on the base side by means of a hinge arrangement on the pallet base.
  • the folding wall ring can be folded flat and placed on the pallet floor.
  • a pallet cover is provided, which is connected to an upper edge of a side wall of the folding wall ring via sliding hinges.
  • the pallet cover can be tilted relative to the folded wall ring and placed laterally along a side wall of the folded wall ring and lowered together with the folded folded wall ring onto the pallet base.
  • the pallet cover sits flush on the edge area of the pallet base and covers the folded folding wall ring.
  • the pallet cover remains permanently connected to the side wall of the folding wall ring via the sliding hinges.
  • the folding wall ring is permanently connected to the pallet cover via the hinge arrangement.
  • a pallet container according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from the DE 20 2013 001 983 U1 known.
  • the container has foldable side wall surfaces which are connected to a base plate and a lid by means of flexible belt straps.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a pallet container of the type mentioned, which can be set up with simple means or collapsed compactly.
  • the lanyard is designed as a flexible connecting strand that is permanently connected to the pallet cover and the folding wall ring.
  • the at least one flexible connecting strand can be fastened to the pallet cover or to a side wall of the folding wall ring.
  • the flexible connecting strand is correspondingly movably supported.
  • a particularly simple connection of the pallet cover to the folding wall ring is achieved by the at least one flexible connecting strand, which ensures a high level of functional reliability.
  • both the pallet base and the pallet cover are produced as molded plastic parts, preferably as twin-sheet components, which are double-walled by deep-drawing two plastic films in a corresponding one Twin-sheet tools are produced, which results in cavities and sections weld between the two plastic walls.
  • the folding wall ring can also be made of plastic as a twin-sheet component.
  • the folding wall ring is produced as a single-shell plastic component or as a multi-layer component from other suitable materials, which enable the corresponding side walls of the folding wall ring to be folded or folded together.
  • a connecting cable, a connecting belt, a connecting strap or a connecting band is provided as a flexible connecting strand.
  • the connecting strand is preferably designed as a textile ribbon braid, woven fabric or knitted fabric.
  • the connecting strand is advantageously fiber-reinforced, in particular glass or carbon fiber reinforced.
  • the at least one flexible connecting strand is preferably permanently connected to the pallet cover or the folding wall ring by means of mechanical fastening means.
  • the flexible connecting strand is designed in sections to be elastically resilient, an elastically resilient strand section being firmly connected to an inelastic, flexible strand section and a rubber band or rubber ring or a band or ring made of another elastomer material being provided as the resilient strand section.
  • the at least one flexible connecting strand runs in the area of an underside of the pallet cover and is fastened to the pallet cover, and the connecting strand is guided through a guide eye on a side wall of the folding wall ring.
  • the guide eye is preferably integrated in one piece in the side wall of the folding wall ring.
  • the guide eye is preferably positioned below an upper edge region of the side wall - in relation to the functional position of the folding wall ring.
  • the at least one flexible connecting strand extends in the vertical direction along a side wall of the folding wall ring, and the connecting strand is guided through a guide eye on an underside of the pallet cover.
  • the connecting strand is not on the underside of the pallet cover, but rather extends on the outside in the region of the side wall of the folding wall ring, and the pallet cover is held displaceably on the connecting strand by an underside of the pallet cover - preferably at an edge area a guide eyelet is provided through which the connecting strand is passed.
  • the guide eye can be provided in the area of a peripheral edge area of the pallet cover or in the area of an inside of the pallet cover. In any case, the guide eye is firmly connected to the pallet cover, in that the guide eye is either integrally formed on the pallet cover or is fastened to the pallet cover by suitable fastening means in the area of the underside, ie on the edge or inside.
  • the guide eyelet for the connecting strand is designed as a passage slot in the region of an upper edge of the side wall of the folding wall ring.
  • the passage slot is formed in one piece in the side wall of the folding wall ring.
  • the through-slot can be formed directly in the manufacture in a one-step manufacturing process, or alternatively can be produced after the side wall and the folding wall ring have been produced by cutting out in the form of punching, embossing, cutting or the like.
  • the connecting strand is designed as a tear-resistant webbing, and a free cross section of the passage slot is matched to a cross section of the webbing in such a way that the webbing slides through the through slot without rotation when the pallet cover is displaced relative to the side wall. This results in a sliding guide for the webbing through the passage slot.
  • the flexible connecting strand is advantageously connected to the pallet cover or to the folding wall ring at two opposite end regions, so that a loop with a closed path is achieved for the connecting strand, along which the guide eyelet and the connecting strand can perform a limited relative movement to one another.
  • the length of the length of the loop is selected so that the pallet cover can be displaced relative to the folding wall ring between its closed position and its open position and remains permanently connected to the folding wall ring in this way.
  • At least two parallel connecting strands are arranged in the area of the underside of the pallet cover.
  • a parallel guidance of the pallet cover relative to the corresponding side wall of the folding wall ring can thereby be achieved, which simplifies the handling of the pallet cover when the pallet container is opened or closed.
  • the folding wall ring is in the region of its underside by means of at least one flexible straps held on the pallet bottom.
  • the at least one flexible retaining strap secures the folding wall ring on the pallet bottom.

A pallet container according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from the DE 20 2013 001 983 U1 known. The container has foldable side wall surfaces which are connected to a base plate and a lid by means of flexible belt straps.

The object of the invention is to provide a pallet container of the type mentioned, which can be set up with simple means or collapsed compactly.

This object is achieved by the features according to claim 1. The lanyard is designed as a flexible connecting strand that is permanently connected to the pallet cover and the folding wall ring. The at least one flexible connecting strand can be fastened to the pallet cover or to a side wall of the folding wall ring. On the other part in each case, ie on the side wall or on the pallet cover, the flexible connecting strand is correspondingly movably supported. A particularly simple connection of the pallet cover to the folding wall ring is achieved by the at least one flexible connecting strand, which ensures a high level of functional reliability. Advantageously, both the pallet base and the pallet cover are produced as molded plastic parts, preferably as twin-sheet components, which are double-walled by deep-drawing two plastic films in a corresponding one Twin-sheet tools are produced, which results in cavities and sections weld between the two plastic walls. The folding wall ring can also be made of plastic as a twin-sheet component. Alternatively, the folding wall ring is produced as a single-shell plastic component or as a multi-layer component from other suitable materials, which enable the corresponding side walls of the folding wall ring to be folded or folded together. A connecting cable, a connecting belt, a connecting strap or a connecting band is provided as a flexible connecting strand. The connecting strand is preferably designed as a textile ribbon braid, woven fabric or knitted fabric. The connecting strand is advantageously fiber-reinforced, in particular glass or carbon fiber reinforced. The at least one flexible connecting strand is preferably permanently connected to the pallet cover or the folding wall ring by means of mechanical fastening means.

According to the invention, the flexible connecting strand is designed in sections to be elastically resilient, an elastically resilient strand section being firmly connected to an inelastic, flexible strand section and a rubber band or rubber ring or a band or ring made of another elastomer material being provided as the resilient strand section.

In an embodiment of the invention, the at least one flexible connecting strand runs in the area of an underside of the pallet cover and is fastened to the pallet cover, and the connecting strand is guided through a guide eye on a side wall of the folding wall ring. The guide eye is preferably integrated in one piece in the side wall of the folding wall ring. The guide eye is preferably positioned below an upper edge region of the side wall - in relation to the functional position of the folding wall ring.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the at least one flexible connecting strand extends in the vertical direction along a side wall of the folding wall ring, and the connecting strand is guided through a guide eye on an underside of the pallet cover. This alternative embodiment reverses the functional principle of the previously described embodiment. In this embodiment, the connecting strand is not on the underside of the pallet cover, but rather extends on the outside in the region of the side wall of the folding wall ring, and the pallet cover is held displaceably on the connecting strand by an underside of the pallet cover - preferably at an edge area a guide eyelet is provided through which the connecting strand is passed. The guide eye can be provided in the area of a peripheral edge area of the pallet cover or in the area of an inside of the pallet cover. In any case, the guide eye is firmly connected to the pallet cover, in that the guide eye is either integrally formed on the pallet cover or is fastened to the pallet cover by suitable fastening means in the area of the underside, ie on the edge or inside.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the guide eyelet for the connecting strand is designed as a passage slot in the region of an upper edge of the side wall of the folding wall ring. The passage slot is formed in one piece in the side wall of the folding wall ring. The through-slot can be formed directly in the manufacture in a one-step manufacturing process, or alternatively can be produced after the side wall and the folding wall ring have been produced by cutting out in the form of punching, embossing, cutting or the like.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the connecting strand is designed as a tear-resistant webbing, and a free cross section of the passage slot is matched to a cross section of the webbing in such a way that the webbing slides through the through slot without rotation when the pallet cover is displaced relative to the side wall. This results in a sliding guide for the webbing through the passage slot.

The flexible connecting strand is advantageously connected to the pallet cover or to the folding wall ring at two opposite end regions, so that a loop with a closed path is achieved for the connecting strand, along which the guide eyelet and the connecting strand can perform a limited relative movement to one another. The length of the length of the loop is selected so that the pallet cover can be displaced relative to the folding wall ring between its closed position and its open position and remains permanently connected to the folding wall ring in this way.

In a further embodiment of the invention, at least two parallel connecting strands are arranged in the area of the underside of the pallet cover. A parallel guidance of the pallet cover relative to the corresponding side wall of the folding wall ring can thereby be achieved, which simplifies the handling of the pallet cover when the pallet container is opened or closed.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the folding wall ring is in the region of its underside by means of at least one flexible straps held on the pallet bottom. The at least one flexible retaining strap secures the folding wall ring on the pallet bottom. The flexibility and length of the retaining strap are designed such that the folding wall ring can be transferred into its folded or folded rest position and can be placed flat on an upper side of the pallet base without the retaining strap hindering corresponding folding or pivoting movements. Preferably, two or more flexible holding straps are provided which are distributed along the one side wall and, in addition to securing against loss when the folded folding wall ring is folded over onto the upper side of the pallet base, have a kind of hinge effect for the folding wall ring. This ensures that the folding wall ring is inevitably correctly positioned when it is folded down into the rest position lying on the pallet base in order to place the pallet cover flush with the outer contour on an edge region of the pallet base.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the flexible tether is designed to be resilient at least in sections. Preferably, the tether is made elastically resilient over its entire length, advantageously made of an elastomer material, in particular rubber. The tether can be strip or loop-shaped. The elastic holding strap is advantageously dimensioned such that it is permanently under elastic tension. As a result, the folding wall ring can inevitably be drawn into a corresponding edge groove of the pallet base when it is set up. This is particularly advantageous with a low edge area of the pallet bottom.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the flexible tether has a thickened securing section and a retaining eyelet at a distance from the securing section, and the folding wall ring has a passage slot through which the tether is passed, the through slot being narrower than the thickened securing section. This configuration enables a particularly simple assembly and disassembly of the flexible tether. The thickened securing section is preferably provided on an end region of the tether. The securing section can comprise a separate component which is fixedly connected to the holding strap. The securing section is particularly preferably designed as a piping, with the retaining band advantageously being designed as a loop in the end region in which a piping bolt is held. The keder bolt can advantageously be made of metal or plastic. The keder bolt can be held in the loop of the retaining strap in a force-fitting, form-fitting and / or material-locking manner. The keder bolt can have different geometrical contours, in particular cylindrical or cuboid contours.

In a further embodiment of the invention, a fastening element is provided for holding the tether on the pallet base, which element penetrates the holding eyelet. The fastening element can in particular be designed as a fastening screw or as a fastening rivet. The fastener is firmly connected to the pallet base when assembled. A passage with an internal thread complementary to the fastening screw can be provided in the area of the pallet bottom. The internal thread can be part of a screw nut that is firmly anchored on or in the pallet bottom. The passage in the area of the pallet base for receiving the fastening element can be provided with a reinforcement.

A pallet container 1 after the 1 to 19 has a pallet base 2, a folding wall ring 3 and a pallet cover 4. The pallet base 2 is provided with a rectangular base area and has a plurality of support feet projecting downwards, by means of which the pallet base 2 stands up on a base. The support feet are spaced from each other in such a way that a fork of a forklift can reach under and lift the pallet base 2 from each side. The pallet base 2 is made of double-walled plastic. The support feet are also made of double-walled plastic. Alternatively, the support feet are made of injection molded plastic. The support feet are either formed in one piece with the pallet base 2 or are produced separately and, after completion, are fastened to the pallet base 2 from below by means of mechanical fastening means. The pallet base 2 and the support feet are produced in a twin-sheet process from two plastic plates, which are deep-drawn together to form cavities and are welded to one another at their contact points to form stiffening ribs. This results in a double-skinned, double-walled hollow body for the pallet base 2, which has high rigidity and impact resistance. The plastic material chosen for the pallet base 2 is a thermoplastic, preferably HDPE.

The pallet base 2 has a circumferential edge region which projects upwards and is arranged on the outside adjacent to a base groove 2 which represents a groove-shaped, circumferential depression in the region of a surface of the pallet base 2. The bottom groove 20 is used to insert the folding wall ring 3 in its functional position.

The folding wall ring 3 has in its set-up functional position (see in particular Fig. 1 and 8th ) has a rectangular shape in cross section, which is formed by a total of four side walls 5 to 8. The side walls 5 to 8 are formed by a front side wall 6, a rear side wall 5 and diametrically opposite side side walls 7, 8. All of the side walls 5 to 8 are connected to one another in their corner regions 10 by means of a film hinge over their entire height. In addition, a front flap 11 is integrated in the front side wall 6, which is movably mounted between a closed position and an open position and enables front access to the interior of the pallet container 1. A further fold line 9, which extends parallel to the corner regions 10, is also provided on the opposite side walls 7, 8. In the set-up functional position of the folding wall ring 3, lower edge regions of the side walls 5 to 8 are inserted into corresponding sections of the bottom groove of the pallet base 2, so that the folding wall ring 3 is held securely in the pallet base 2. In addition, locking means are provided in a manner not shown in detail, which prevent the folding wall ring 3 from being raised in its functional position when it is raised, that the folding wall ring 3 can be lifted off the pallet base 2. Raising the folding wall ring 3 inevitably also leads to the fact that the pallet base 2, which is positively connected to the folding wall ring 3 via the locking means, is also lifted. The folding wall ring 3 can from the set position according to the Fig. 1 , 4th , 8th , 10th be transferred into a compact folded position by slightly raising the folding wall ring 3 after unlocking the locking means and moving the front side wall 6 backwards to the rear side wall 5 while folding in the side side walls 7, 8. The folded rest position of the folding wall ring 3 is based on the Fig. 13 recognizable.

The rear side wall 5 remains connected to the pallet base 2 via two flexible holding straps 16, 19. The two straps 16, 19 are, as shown in FIG Fig. 1 , 7 and 8, 9 can be seen, each with a tape end 16 fastened on the inside to the rear side wall 5. An opposite band end 18 of each retaining band 19 is firmly connected to the pallet base in the area of an inside of the edge area of the pallet base 2.

The folding wall ring 3 can, as shown in the 13 to 16 is recognizable from the folded rest position according to Fig. 13 can be folded forward onto the surface of the pallet base 2. This is done together with the pallet cover 4. This will be discussed in more detail below.

The folding wall ring 3 is single-walled made of a suitable plastic material in the illustrated embodiment. The folding wall ring 3 can likewise be produced in the same way as a double-walled plastic component in a twin-sheet process. Corner areas and fold lines remain flexible in the same way as is the case with a single-walled and single-walled folding wall ring 3.

The pallet cover 4 can be placed on the folding wall ring 3 in the region of its upper edge. The pallet cover 4 is designed in the same way as a double-walled plastic component as the pallet base 2. Advantageously, the pallet cover 4 is also produced in a twin-sheet construction. The pallet cover 4 and the pallet base 2 advantageously consist of the same plastic material. The folding wall ring 3 can also consist of the same thermoformable plastic material. The pallet cover 4 has in the area of its underside both an essentially flat inside 12 and a peripheral edge area 13. Between the inside 12 and the edge region 13, a circumferential plug-in channel is provided, which is set up on an upper edge contour of the folding wall ring 3 in the Functional position is matched to enable a secure placement and fitting of the pallet cover 4 on the folding wall ring 3.

On the pallet cover 4, two mutually parallel, flexible connecting strands 14 are provided in the region of its underside, which are designed as belt straps. Each flexible connecting strand 14 is attached with its opposite ends to the underside of the pallet cover 4. The two flexible connecting strands 14 extend in the closed position of the pallet cover 4 in the raised functional position of the folding wall ring 3 parallel to the upper edge regions of the side walls 7, 8 on, which is greater than the corresponding extent of the inside 12 of the pallet cover 4, so that each connecting strand 14 hangs loosely downward in the manner of a loop in the horizontal orientation of the pallet cover 4. The strand ends of each connecting strand 14 are firmly connected to the underside of the pallet cover 4 by means of mechanical fastening means. The strand ends of each connecting strand 14 are advantageously fastened on the inside to corresponding sections of the edge region 13 of the pallet cover 4. Alternatively, it is possible to integrate each connecting strand 14 as a closed, circumferential ring in the manufacture of the pallet cover 4, the then hanging free strand strand of each connecting strand 14 hanging loosely in the same way as a loop, as shown in FIG Fig. 1 is shown. Each connecting strand 14 is passed through a respective guide eye 15 in the form of a passage slot on an upper edge of the rear side wall 5. The two slot-shaped guide eyes 15 are aligned with their longitudinal extension parallel to an upper edge of the side wall 5 and positioned a short distance below the upper edge. The height of each slot-shaped guide eyelet 15 is designed in such a way that the associated connecting strand, which is designed as a belt, can slide through the respective guide eyelet 15 in a manner that prevents it from rotating. The two guide eyes 15 are integrated in one piece in the side wall 5 by forming simple slot-shaped passages in the surface material of the side wall 5. The front and rear strand ends of the respective connecting strand 14 are fastened to the underside of the pallet cover 4 via mechanical fastening means 17, as shown in FIG Fig. 3 , 5 , 6 , 12th , 18th is recognizable.

The pallet cover 4 is therefore captively connected to the rear side wall 5 of the folding wall ring 3 via the connecting strands 14 and the guide eyes 15. The rear side wall 5, in turn, is permanently subject to play at its lower edge region, ie opposite to the guide eyelets 15, by means of a holding band 19 in each case Pallet bottom 2 connected. For this purpose, the two retaining straps 16, 19 are designed to be flexible and of a length that enables the rear side wall 5 to be raised and pivoted.

To the pallet cover 4 from its closed position according to the Fig. 4 and 8th in an open position according to Fig. 10 to transfer, the pallet cover 4 is released upwards from the edge contour of the folding wall ring 3 and raised and pivoted in a simple manner in the region of the front side wall 6. Due to the dead weight of the pallet cover 4, it slides along the upper edge of the rear side wall 5, the connecting strands 14 inevitably sliding down through the guide eyes 15. The connecting strands 14 also define corresponding end stops for the pallet cover 4 with their strand ends, as shown in FIG 10 and 11 is recognizable. The pallet cover 4 remains connected to the rear side wall 5 via the connecting strands 14 which are looped through the guide eyes 15, the opening position of the pallet cover 4 according to FIG 10 and 11, 12 sets. In this open position, the folding wall ring 3 can now be folded up, in that the folding wall ring 3 is raised slightly at least in the area of the front side wall 6 and at the same time the side walls 7, 8 are folded inwards. The front side wall 6 can then be pushed back until the corresponding side walls 5 to 8 lie flat against one another on the block (see Fig. 13 ). The folded folding wall ring 3 can now be pivoted forward together with the pallet cover 4 and consequently folded over, the folding wall ring 3 remaining connected to the pallet base 2 via the holding straps 16, 19 engaging on the rear side wall 5 (see Fig. 7 and 19th ). The pallet cover 4 is inevitably taken along with the pivoting of the folding wall ring 3, since the pallet cover 4 is permanently connected to the folding wall ring 3 via the connecting strands 14. The corresponding lateral edge areas of the pallet cover 4 and the pallet base 2 are matched to one another in such a way that they are in the closed rest position of the pallet container according to the 15, 16, 19 lie flush on top of each other.

A renewed opening takes place in the reverse sequence of movements by lifting the pallet cover 4. The pallet cover 4 inevitably takes the folding wall ring 3 upwards via the connecting strands 14. As soon as the folding wall ring 3 the position again Fig. 13 has reached, the front side wall 6 can be pulled forward, whereby the folding wall ring 3 can be immersed again in the bottom groove of the pallet bottom 2. After appropriate locking of the folding wall ring 3 in the area of the pallet base 2, the pallet cover 4 can be pulled up again in a simple manner and pivoted forward until it reaches the intermediate positions according to the Fig. 1 and 2nd back to its closed position according to the Fig. 4 and 8th is transferred.

The pallet container according to the 20 to 22 corresponds essentially to the pallet container 1, as it is based on the 1 to 18 is shown and described. Components with the same function are provided with the same reference numerals with the addition of the letter a. It is therefore regarding the 20 to 22 in addition to the description of the 1 to 18 referred. In the following, the differences of the pallet container according to the 20 to 22 received.

To connect the folding wall ring 3a, which is based on the 20 to 22 is only partially and schematically shown, on the pallet base 2a, the folding wall ring 3a has in the area of at least one side wall at least one passage slot 22, which is provided just above a lower edge region of the side wall of the folding wall ring 3a and is parallel to the lower edge area of the side wall of the folding wall ring 3a extends. Based on 20 to 22 only one passage slot 22 is shown. However, the side wall of the folding wall ring 3a has at least two such through slots 22 which are spaced apart from one another along the edge region. Each passage slot 22 is provided to secure the folding wall ring 3a to the pallet base 2a in a captive manner. For this purpose, a holding band 21 is passed through each passage slot 22, which is designed to be flexible and is held on the pallet base 2a by means of a fastening element 23 in the form of a fastening screw.

As with the Fig. 21 As can be seen, the retaining strap 21 has a retaining eyelet 24 at an end region lying inside in the assembled position. At the other end region, which is external in the assembled state, the retaining band 21 is provided with a securing section 26 in the form of a piping. For this purpose, the holding strap 21 forms a loop in the end region in which a dimensionally stable keder bolt 25 is held. The piping pin 25 is cylindrical in the illustrated embodiment. The thickened securing section 26 formed in this way has a thickness that is at least a factor of 2 larger than the height of the passage slot 22. A width of the retaining band 21 is narrower than a width of the passage slot 22. A thickness of the retaining band 21 as well as a thickness of the retaining eyelet 24 are less than a height of the passage slot 22, so that the tether 21 with the end area carrying the eyelet 24 can be threaded through the passage slot 22 from the outside until the thickened securing portion 26 abuts the edge area of the passage slot 22 from the outside. Based on 20 to 22 it can also be seen that the width of the holding strap 21 extends from the thickened securing section 26 to the holding eyelet 24 symmetrically and continuously tapered. The holding eyelet 24 reinforces the inner end region of the holding strap 21, since the holding eyelet 24 is firmly integrated into the holding strap 21.

The pallet base 2a is provided with a recess in which a receptacle 27 is provided, into which a fastening screw 23 is screwed, which penetrates the holding eyelet 24.

To mount the tether 21, the tether 21 is first shown in FIG Fig. 21 inserted from the outside with its retaining eyelet 24 through the passage slot 22 of the folding wall ring 3a and pulled inward until the securing section 26 rests on the outside at the edge region of the passage slot 22. The fastening screw 23 is then passed from above through the retaining eyelet 24 and screwed into the receptacle 27 of the pallet base 2a. A head of the fastening screw 23 is matched to the holding eyelet 24 such that the head of the fastening screw 23 secures the holding eyelet 24 in a form-fitting manner in the region of the receptacle 27 on the pallet base 2a. For disassembly, the fastening screw 23 can be removed in a simple manner. The folding wall ring 3a can then be removed and the retaining band 21 can be pulled out of the passage slot 22.
