Definitions
- the invention relates to a pyrolysis system for the gasification of a gasification mass, such as biomass and energetic residues with an electrically heated pyrolysis reactor, in which a plurality of guide tubes equipped with conveying devices are arranged horizontally or with a slight inclination, a feed device being provided for charging an input guide tube with the gasification mass and a gas outlet for discharging the pyrolysis gas and a conveying device for the discharge of the degassed residue mass are arranged at the discharge end of the outlet guide tube.
- Such a pyrolysis plant is by the utility model AT13145 U1 known.
- the pyrolysis plant from the AT13145 U1 includes an electrically heated heat chamber with guide tubes, a feed device and outlets for the pyrolysis gas. Screw conveyors are provided to remove the resulting material residues.
- the object of the present invention is to eliminate all the disadvantages of the prior art and to provide a pyrolysis system which ensures full heat utilization and ensures that the required pyrolysis temperature and the necessary dwell time in the guide tubes are achieved.
- the formation of tars and pollutants should be largely avoided so as not to complicate subsequent cleaning steps.
- the present invention is characterized in that at least two, preferably three, guide tubes, each with a conveying device, are arranged one above the other and connected via connecting shafts, that the guide tubes can be heated individually, that the feed device has an air lock that reduces or completely prevents the entry of supply air, and that the pyrolysis reactor is surrounded by a heat-insulating jacket which prevents the inflow of external air on all sides, the heat-insulating material completely enclosing the pyrolysis reactor, and the jacket having an airtight outer skin which surrounds the pyrolysis reactor on all sides, and the inlet pipes and openings for the conveying devices so tight are arranged that supply air is prevented.
- the Fig. 1 shows the supervision of a pyrolysis plant with the associated aggregates and structures.
- the pyrolysis plant 1 essentially comprises the electrically heated pyrolysis reactor 2, the gas cleaner 3, the heat exchanger 4 and the gas scrubber 5. Furthermore, a bearing 6 is provided, from which the gasification mass can be fed to a feed device 8 of the pyrolysis reactor through a horizontal and inclined conveyor 7 . In the gas cleaner, the pyrolysis gas is separated from dust, the settling dust being removed from the system via the discharge device 9. The cleaned raw gas passes through the raw gas line 10 into the heat exchanger 4, in which the raw gas is cooled to about 30 ° in at least two stages.
- the resulting cooled gas is fed to a gas scrubber 5, from which the clean gas is fed via the clean gas line 11 to the combined heat and power plant 12 for generating electrical and possibly also thermal energy.
- the system is controlled by the control and office building 13.
- this system applies only as an example and for example. Instead of being fed to a combined heat and power plant, it can also be fed into a heating gas network or another gas consumer. Of course, the supply of the gasification mass and the removal of the solid residues can also take place in another way.
- a pressure tank 14 is also shown, which can contain nitrogen or fuel gas under pressure, for example, with which the filters and ceramic candles of the gas cleaner 3 can be blown off and thus cleaned.
- the first heat exchanger 15 by means of which the pyrolysis gas is cooled to approximately 100 ° C., is the starting point for a condensate line 16, which returns the condensate to the introduction point 17 at the outlet end of the pyrolysis reactor, as a result of which the condensate has a temperature of 700 to 800 ° C. exposed and thermally changed (reformed).
- the Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the pyrolysis reactor 2 with a downstream gas cleaner 3 and above the feed device 8.
- the pyrolysis of the gasification mass takes place in the pyrolysis reactor 2.
- the structure of the pyrolysis reactor is also very good from the exploded view in Fig. 4 recognizable.
- the pyrolysis reactor 2 comprises guide tubes 19, 21, 23, one above the other, which form a guide tube group. All guide tubes are provided with conveying devices 18, wherein in the exemplary embodiment shown there are always screw conveyors which can consist of temperature-resistant steel or ceramic.
- the inlet guide tube 19 the fresh gasification material supplied via the feed device 8 reaches the first connecting shaft 20, the intermediate guide tube 21 and the second connecting shaft 22 to the outlet guide tube 23 and up to the discharge end 24.
- the pyrolysis reactor 2 is heated via electrical heating elements 25 which heat the guide tubes in accordance with the desired temperature control.
- the temperatures generated in the individual tubes are, for example, 750 to 800 ° C in the input guide tube, 800 to 850 ° C in the intermediate guide tube and 850 to 900 ° C and up to 1200 ° C in the output guide tube.
- the temperatures can be adapted to the gasification mass to be treated in each case. If, for example, the formation of dioxin is to be feared, the temperature in the inlet guide tube can be raised accordingly.
- the pyrolysis reactor has a structure which consists of heat-insulating material. It completely surrounds the pyrolysis reactor and is preferably made from blocks of expanded, compressed ceramic fleece. Such ceramic blocks are known. They are used in a compressed, compressed state and then let relax to your desired external dimensions. This creates cuboids with dimensions of 300 x 300 x 300 mm, which lie firmly against each other and combine high thermal insulation with tightness.
- a jacket 51 designed in this way is surprisingly still not suitable as a building structure in order to prevent the entry of external air.
- the problem is solved by the arrangement of an airtight outer skin 26, which encloses the 300 x 300 mm on all sides, and the inlet pipes and openings for the worm drives are so closely arranged that supply air is prevented.
- Electric drives 27 are provided for driving the conveying devices 18.
- the conveyor drive 53 e.g. an electrically operated screw conveyor removes the separated dust from the gas cleaner 3 to the discharge device 9.
- the feed device 8 comprises a drop funnel 28 for receiving the gasification mass, which is brought in from the bearing 6 via the horizontal and inclined conveyor.
- Two lock slides 29 form an air lock 50 with the lock tube 30 arranged between them in order to largely prevent the ingress of outside air.
- the lock tube 30 can also be connected to a vacuum pump in order to further remove the external air that has been introduced.
- the gasification mass passes through the chute 31 either directly into the feed pipe 32 in order to transport the gasification mass via the conveying device 18 into the inlet guide pipe 19, or the chute 31 opens into a distributor 33, as shown, to distribute the mass to several juxtaposed ones Split supply pipes if multiple guide pipe groups are provided.
- the discharge end 24 of the outlet guide tube 23 opens into the gas cleaner 3, which is also airtight.
- the pyrolysis gas with the foreign substances and dusts contained in it reaches the discharge temperature of more than 850 ° C. This high temperature ensures that the cleaning filters 34, which are preferably ceramic candles, are not laid by tars and dust that may be present. The formation of tar is prevented by the high temperatures.
- the conveyor carries solid raw materials out of the pyrolysis reactor.
- the cleaned gas collects in the gas collecting chamber 35 and is fed to the gas scrubber 5 via the outlet 48. If necessary, cleaning gas is blown out of the pressure tank 14 intermittently via the flushing gas inlet 36 in order to blow out the candles of the cleaning filter 34 from time to time.
- Two cleaning filter groups are preferably connected in parallel to one another, so that it is possible to continuously switch between the operating state and the rinsing state without having to interrupt the operation of the pyrolysis system.
- any condensate that may arise from the downstream gas scrubbing can be introduced via the condensate line 16 into the discharge end of the outlet guide tube 23 which is subjected to high temperature, where the condensate is immediately subjected to further pyrolysis.
- the Fig. 3 shows as an important part of the pyrolysis plant the outer skin surrounding the pyrolysis reactor and the gas scrubber on all sides, which is preferably made of heat-resistant steel.
- the outer skin includes bottom and side panels 37 and a removable cover 38.
- the front plate 39 is also removable to allow access to the internals of the heat chamber.
- the heating elements 25 are accessible from the outside for power supply, maintenance and adjustment of the temperatures.
- the gas cleaner also includes 3 bottom and side panels 40 and a front plate 41, which is removable or pivoted away.
- a cover 42 is also provided.
- the Fig. 4 shows an exploded view of details of the internals and also the outer skin of the pyrolysis reactor.
- the individual segments of the guide tubes are fastened in heat-resistant receiving blocks 43.
- the conveying devices are driven via the shafts 44, which are mounted in water-cooled outer bearings 45, as a result of which the electric motors arranged on the outside and not shown here are protected from the high heat in the pyrolysis reactor.
- the thermal sealing of the floor is carried out by means of insulating bricks 46, on which the walls of the structure, not shown here, are constructed from ceramic fleece.
- the corresponding cuboid insulation bodies are in Fig. 2 designated by reference numeral 47.
- the cleaning filters 34 are preferably ceramic candles that can withstand the high temperatures on the one hand and that can also be encoded with substances on the other hand in order to control the filtering effect.
- the ceramic material can be mixed with nanoparticles, for example to remove nitrogen or sulfur or chlorine from the clean gas.
- Combined universal candles can also be provided if there is no precise knowledge of the nature of the gasification mass.
- the entire system i.e. the pyrolysis reactor and the gas cleaner, is brought to operating temperature, for example by means of heating fans, to prevent tar separation or clogging of the filter pores from the start.
- the number of guide tubes of a guide tube group lying one above the other can be adapted to the requirements.
- four guide tubes can also be provided one above the other.
- the Fig. 4 it can be seen that two adjacent guide tube groups are provided in the heat chamber shown.
- the guide tubes are either horizontal or slightly sloping in the direction of flow.
- a first heat exchanger 15 reduces the gas temperature to approximately 100 ° C. and in the second heat exchanger 52 there is a further reduction to approximately 30 ° C. At this temperature, the gas can be fed to the gas scrubber 5, which is usually an oil scrubber or contains other hydrocarbon liquids, in order to wash out the last residues of substances which are soluble in hydrocarbons from the gas. As previously described, any condensate that may have formed from the first heat exchanger 15 can be returned to the pyrolysis via the condensate line 16.

Description

- In
Fig. 2 mit dem Bezugszeichen 47 bezeichnet.
