- A device for holding a facing element, such as plasterboard, away from a vapor-barrier membrane (300) extending along an insulating material covering a surface, such as a wall or a ceiling, to be coated with said facing, said device being characterized in that it comprises:- a plate (1) able to engage a reinforcement (100) secured to the surface to be coated,- a member (2) for fastening a support (200) of the facing element, comprising a first portion (21) intended to engage the support (200) and a second portion (20) intended to engage the plate, said portions (20, 21) being apart from each other in a direction perpendicular to the surface to be coated, the second portion (20) comprising a tip (22) intended to perforate the vapor-barrier membrane (300) during the engagement of said second portion (20) in the plate (1), the vapor-barrier membrane (300) being interposed between the plate (1) and the fastening member (2),and in that the plate (1) and the fastening member (2) have respective means for compressing the vapor-barrier membrane (300) around the tip (22) along a bearing area coplanar with the membrane.
- The device according to claim 1, further comprising two arms (3) hinged on either side of the plate (1), each of said arms being able to pivot between a first position for placing the insulating material along the reinforcement (100) and a second position for retaining said insulating material.
- The device according to any of claims 1 to 2, wherein the plate (1) has a U-shaped profile comprising two legs (10) adapted to engage the reinforcement (100) and connected by a bottom (12) comprising a passage opening (13) for the engagement of the tip (22) of the second portion of the fastening member.
- The device according to claim 3, wherein the bottom (12) of the plate has a substantially flat portion around the passage orifice (13).
- The device according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the plate (1) is able to engage the reinforcement by snapping.
- The device according to claim 5, in combination with any of claims 3 or 4, wherein the plate (1) has, at the end of each leg (10), a flange (11) directed inwardly and adapted to engage a respective flange (105) of the reinforcement.
- The device according to claim 6, wherein each flange (11) of the plate has a comb-like conformation having a plurality of recesses able to receive a hanger for fastening the first reinforcement.
- The device according to any of claims 1 to 7, wherein the second portion (20) of the fastening member has a substantially flat bearing surface (23) for the vapor-barrier membrane around the tip (22).
- The device according to any of claims 1 to 8, wherein the second portion (20) of the fastening member (2) is adapted to be locked in the plate (1) by quarter turn.
- The device according to any of claims 1 to 9, wherein the first portion (21) of the fastening member has a form of revolution comprising a substantially flat bearing surface able to cooperate with a support rail of the facing element.
- A constructive system with double reinforcement, comprising:- a first reinforcement intended to be secured to a surface, such as a wall or a ceiling, to be coated with a facing, said first reinforcement being intended to maintain an insulating material along said surface,- a second reinforcement intended to support facing elements, such as plasterboards,said system being characterized in that it comprises at least one device according to any of claims 1 to 10 to maintain a controlled distance between a vapor-barrier membrane and the facing elements.
- The system according to claim 11, wherein the first reinforcement comprises a rail having a U-shaped profile and the plate comprises a housing (19) for the tip (22) of the fastening member (2) when said member is engaged on the plate (1).
- The system according to claim 12, wherein the first reinforcement comprises a rail having a W-like profile which comprises two legs (104) connected, at one of their ends, by a bottom having a protrusion directed towards the other end of the legs (104) which defines a groove (102), said groove (102) forming a housing for the tip (22) of the fastening member (2) when said member (2) is engaged on the plate (1).
- A method for placing a facing on a surface, such as a wall or a ceiling, securely carrying a plurality of reinforcements, comprising the following steps:- providing a plurality of devices according to any of claims 1 to 10,- engaging the plate (1) of each device in a reinforcement (100),- placing the insulating material along said reinforcement,- placing the vapor-barrier membrane (300) along the insulating material,- engaging the fastening member (2) on the plate (1) of each device, the tip perforating the vapor-barrier membrane (300),- engaging a support intended to support a facing element on the first portion of the fastening member (2), the membrane being maintained substantially flat.
- The method according to claim 14, wherein each device further comprises two arms (3) hinged on either side of the plate (1), each of said arms being able to pivot between a first position for placing the insulating material along the reinforcement (100) and a second position for retaining said insulating material, and wherein, when engaging the plate in the reinforcement, the arms are in the first position and, after placing the insulating material along the reinforcement, the arms are pivoted in the second position.
