Durch die stark abgerundete Form des Rückholtropfens wird auch die Verletzungsgefahr deutlich verringert, so wie auch die Gefahr, dass beim Strickvorgang das Garn von der Nadelspitze der Stricknadel durchstochen wird. So können auch mit dickerem Garn gute Strickergebnisse erzielt werden.
