TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention refers to an awning structure having a great modularity which allows its fixing both on smooth walls and on facades provided with pillars, which presents a great ease of assembly and a reduced occupation of space in the direction horizontal. In addition, it involves the extrusion of simple profiles. The invention also refers to a blind which comprises a frame for supporting a shade assembly, variable between a position in which it provides shade and a position in which it is open, the frame being supported for example by pillars or by fixing to a structure external to the awning, such as the exterior shutter of a house.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

• Des plaques de fixation à une structure fixe, comme par exemple un mur ou des piliers avec une construction en bois. Ces plaques sont de petite longueur, par rapport aux dimensions du store, elles sont pourvues de crochets orientés vers le haut destinés à recevoir des crochets ou parties complémentaires appartenant au reste de la structure. Ces plaques peuvent être disposées au nombre de deux ou plus dans les lieux disponibles dans la structure de fixation fixe, à savoir le mur ou les murs.

In the utility model published with the number ES 1 115 205 U , on behalf of the same applicant, a roll-up blind structure is described with the following structure:

• Fixing plates to a fixed structure, such as a wall or pillars with a wooden construction. These plates are of small length, compared to the dimensions of the blind, they are provided with hooks oriented upwards intended to receive hooks or complementary parts belonging to the rest of the structure. These plates can be arranged in number of two or more in the places available in the fixed fixing structure, namely the wall or the walls.
• A profile, which can be called basic profile, continuous, which is provided on its rear side, the one facing the wall or the pillars, with the mentioned hooks or complementary parts. This basic profile is provided with a housing for the reel box. Due to the fact that it is continuous, it is thus possible to freely choose the place of fixing of the fixing plates, because the latter can be arranged on the base profile at any point. This profile is provided on its front face, the one facing the rear face, with forms for fixing the fixed ends of the arms. This fixing, in the document mentioned, is carried out by means of a system of sliding plates on a groove and screws for fixing and locking the plates. Therefore, the mentioned forms of fastening consist of channels or grooves with a rectangular section, with a front opening channel for the passage of screws.
• Two arm supports, preferably with adjustable inclination, which constitute the fixed ends of the arms.
• The front traction bar, which is connected to the front edge of the canvas, and which is the one that pulls the canvas for its deployment.

So, we can see that in this design the base profile performs several functions, namely:

So the result is a complicated design of the base bar, as it must be able to perform all four functions simultaneously.

Another constraint of this design is that it assumes a horizontal arrangement of the elements, which does not turn out to be optimal if one seeks to reduce the projection of the structure in the horizontal dimension and the moments exerted by the elements on the mounting plates.

Also known are awning structures provided with an awning structure provided with an upper frame intended to support a shading assembly, the upper frame consisting of four parallel sections two by two, the structure being provided with two pillars of resting on two adjacent corners of the upper frame, so that a first profile among the four profiles is intended to be fixed to a structure external to the awning structure, while the profile opposite the first profile rests on the two pillars.

This is a particular example of such a structure which is described in the publication ES1140085U relating to an awning structure provided with a roll-up fabric.

In particular, in this publication, of the same applicant as the present utility model, a structure like the one described above is described.

A service sought after in this type of structure is easy, precise and reliable assembly. In particular, the structure must make it possible to easily fix the first section, which is intended to be fixed to the external structure, independently of the nature of the latter. When it comes to a flat wall, without obstacles, assembly is simple.

Nevertheless, the installer will not always find himself in these circumstances, but it is possible that there are openings, or that they are columns, or the uprights of a wooden structure.

EP0631025A1 presents a blind with support bar in accordance with the preamble of claim 1.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

To solve the shortcomings of the state of the art, according to a first aspect, the present invention proposes a blind structure which comprises:
A set with:

• A canvas winder;
• Two articulated arms, provided in turn with a fixed rear end and a mobile front end;
• Fixing brackets to all of the fixed rear ends of the arms;
• A front pull-up bar connected to the movable front ends of the arms;
• Plates for fixing the assembly to a wall or to pillars;
• the fixing plates being provided with at least one fixing hook oriented upwards, the assembly being provided with at least one part having a shape complementary to the fixing hooks, and which comprises a continuous base profile whose section is longer in the vertical dimension than in the horizontal direction, so as to define:
  • a front face for fixing the fixing brackets;
  • a rear face for fixing to the fixing plates which is provided with the part having a shape complementary to the fixing hooks; and
  • wherein the fabric reel is supported by the base section and arranged above the latter.

With this structure, the following objectives are achieved, the mentioned disadvantages of the state of the art being overcome:

• reduce the moment on the fixing plates, because the base profile no longer has to accommodate the winder, and can be reduced;
• reduce the extension of the structure in the horizontal direction;
• size the different parts for their particular function.

In addition, the assembly is even more staggered, because the mounting plates are mounted, then the base profile, then the roller, then the supports arms, then the arms and finally the front pull-up bar.

In the present description by "anterior", "front" or "frontal" we refer to the sides which are on the side of the traction bar, and by "posterior" or "rear" we indicate the sides which are on the side of the plates of fixation.

According to the invention, the structure comprises a casing of the canvas reel, and the base section has an upper face for fixing the casing of the canvas reel.

Thus, it is not necessary to give the winder housing casing a high rigidity, but only the rigidity necessary to support the protective cover against adverse weather and sun conditions. In addition, the box is also mounted independently of the other components, so the assembly is even more staggered.

Still according to the invention, the box has an inverted U-shaped section which defines a reel housing, and two lower ends, a rear end connecting with the base profile and a front end.

This form of profile is simple and allows the rear part of the box or box to remain as close as possible to the wall or fixing pillar, while the front end can constitute a vertical extension of the front surface of the pull-up bar, so that the structure is compact and aesthetic in the retracted blind position.

In some embodiments the upper face of the base profile has a T-shaped section, and the rear end has a groove-shaped section for the insertion of the T-shaped section of the base profile.

It is a firm connection, which does not need screws and is easy to obtain in the processes of extrusion of the profiles.

In some embodiments, the fixing of the fixing supports to the front fixing face consists of a system of plates and grooves, the groove being arranged on the front face of the base profile.

This fixing is easily firm, and it can be carried out without the need to perforate profiles.

In some embodiments the drawbar has a section which extends in a curved way downwards and towards the lower part of the base plate, so that in the retracted position it covers by the part lower the articulated arms and the underside of the base profile.

Thus, the pull-up bar, in the retracted position, has the added functions of protection and visual concealment of the arms.

In some embodiments the lower end of the fixing plates is provided with a lower tongue which projects horizontally towards the assembly and the rear face for fixing to the fixing plates comprises on its lower part a groove oriented towards the lower tongue.

Thus, the fixing with the hooks with a fixing and locking system is completed by means of the plate and the groove.

In some embodiments the structure comprises, hinged to the end of the underside of the base plate, a cover intended to be leaned against the lower tongue of the fixing plates, this cover being provided with a groove for the insertion of an LED strip.

In certain embodiments, the structure comprises intermediate fixing parts between the traction bar and the mobile front ends of the articulated arms.

In some embodiments the intermediate fixing pieces are connected to the drawbar by means of a groove and plate system, and the groove is disposed on the drawbar and the plate is screwed to the intermediate fixing piece.

In some embodiments the drawbar includes an insertion groove for an additional fabric.

In some embodiments, the structure comprises two side covers provided with support means for the fabric winder.

Finally, in some embodiments the structure comprises two covers corresponding to each of the side covers, the covers being provided on their face oriented towards the base profile with a fastening tongue intended to be engaged in a channel of the base profile.

Thus, the installation of the structure can be carried out in a staggered manner, in a precise and safe manner, although the fixing surface of the external structure is discontinuous. This is possible thanks to the complementary shapes and the fact that the profile fixing section extends over the entire profile.

The assembly process is staggered because the fixing plates are first fixed at the desired height, and in the appropriate horizontal positions. Then the frame is hooked, which can then be fixed and locked in the final position.

In addition, the costs are reduced, since part of the fixing part is obtained by extrusion of the first profile, and it is not necessary to add, in addition to the fixing plates, any additional fixing component.

In the present invention, the expression “down” means that the orientation of the hook is downward when the structure is mounted.

When mounted, the profiles that configure the upper frame present two vertical surfaces, one that would face the interior of the frame, and which in some embodiments has features on said internal surface suitable for supporting, guiding and/or articulating the shade assembly, and the so-called "external vertical surface", which is that which provides part of the means for fixing the first profile to the external structure to the awning structure itself.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

As can be seen in the figures, according to one embodiment, the invention refers to a blind structure 1 which comprises an assembly provided with a box 2 of reel 3 of fabric 4, the box 2 being located on the upper portion.

At a level located under the box 2 there are two articulated arms 5, provided in turn with a fixed rear end 51 and a movable front end 52. The fixed rear ends 51 are connected to the assembly by means of supports fixing 6, while the movable front ends 52 are connected to the front traction bar 7 by means of intermediate fixing parts 11.

The assembly is intended to be fixed to a wall or to pillars by means of fixing plates 8 provided with a fixing hook 81 facing upwards. On the other hand, the assembly is provided with a part 95 having a shape complementary to the fixing hooks 81.

The structure comprises a continuous base profile 9 whose section is longer in the vertical dimension than in the horizontal direction, so as to define:

• a front face 91 for fixing the fixing brackets 6;
• a rear face 92 for fixing to the fixing plates 8 which is provided with the part 95 having a shape complementary to the fixing hooks 81; and
• an upper face 93 for fixing box 2 of reel 3 of fabric 4.

The denomination “low profile” was used because this profile 9 constitutes the structural base of the structure, since it is the profile subjected to the most stresses.

Therefore, the structure comprises two main parts, a lower part consisting of the base profile 9 which will be specially designed to withstand forces and bending due to stresses at the level of the fixing to the wall or pillars as well as to the stresses due to the supports 6 of the arms 5. The inertia of the section of the profile 9 will therefore be specially designed to resist the moments to which it will be subject.

The reel 3 will be supported by its ends by means of covers 12, which will also be supported by the base profile 9, which will be described in more detail below.

As you can see in the exploded view of the figure 7 , one can use a plurality of independent fixing plates 8 which will be arranged on the available places and as much as necessary to obtain the desired rigidity. Namely, the distribution of the pillars or slots available on the fixed structure to which the awning will be fixed will hardly create a constraint for a good and quick installation.

In this embodiment, the box 2 has an inverted U-shaped section which defines a housing 21 of the roller 3, and two lower ends, a rear end 22 connecting with the base profile 9 and a front end 23 designed to have continuity with the front traction bar 7 when the latter is in the retracted position.

The upper face 93 of the base profile 9 has a section 94 having a T-shape, and the rear end 22 has a groove-shaped section 95 for the insertion of the T-shaped section 94 of the base profile 9 Therefore, the coupling between box 2 and base profile 9 turns out to be very simple by means of this male and female system, because it suffices to slide the T through the upper groove of the base profile 9. In addition, the connection is carried out over the entire length of the two profiles 2 and 9. This connection also makes it possible to "convert" the profiles 9 and 2 into a single profile, so that they complement each other to present a greater inertia of the whole.

There is also the possibility that the profiles 2 and 9 are a single extruded profile, in which each part 2 and 9 will be designed to perform its function. Obviously in this case the connection will be made with the profile.

The fixing of the fixing brackets 6 to the front fixing face 91 consists of a system of plates 61 and grooves 97, the groove 97 being arranged on the front face 91 of the base profile 9. The groove plate system, used on most of the fasteners of the structure object of the present invention, allows prior positioning of the parts to be connected, for posterior tightening of the screw and consequent locking.

The drawbar 7 has a section 74 which extends in a curved way downwards and towards the lower part of the base plate 9, so that in the retracted position it covers the lower part of the articulated arms 5 and the underside 94 of the base section 9.

The lower end of the fixing plates 8 is provided with a lower tongue 82 which projects horizontally towards the assembly and the rear face 92 for fixing to the fixing plates 8 comprises on its lower part a groove 96 oriented towards the lower tongue 82. Thus, as can be seen from the picture 2 , the base profile 9 can be fixed to the fixing plates 8 by means of a groove and plate system 83, to complete the fixing by means of the hooks 81 and 95.

The rear end of the lower face 94 of the base plate 9 has a hinged cover 10 intended to be backed against the lower tongue 82 of the fixing plates 8. This cover 10 is provided with a groove 101 for the insertion of an LED strip, not shown.

The intermediate fixing pieces 11 are connected to the drawbar 7 by means of a groove and plate system, and the groove 71 is arranged on the pulling bar 7 and the plate 72 is screwed to the intermediate fixing piece 11.

Drawbar 7 includes an insertion groove 73 for additional webbing.

As we can see on the figures 3 to 6 , the structure comprises two side covers 12 and two corresponding covers 13, the covers being provided on their face facing the base profile 9 with a fixing tab 14 intended to be engaged in a channel 98 of the base profile 9. Therefore , the base profile has the additional function of fixing the side covers 12. The trims are provided with a fixing projection 131 which will allow them to be fixed from the inside, so that screws are not visible from the outside. The fixing projection 131 has a threaded hole, and the trim is provided with a screw 132. On the other hand, the cover 12 is provided with a through hole 133 provided with an upper section with a diameter sufficient to let the head of the screw 132, and a lower section with a diameter smaller than that of the head, although greater than the shank of the screw 132, so that for the installer it will suffice to insert the screw by the larger section, introduce the screw in the lower section and tighten it to obtain a quick fixing of the cover 13. Of course, it could also be fixed externally by means of a visible screw.

On the figures 11 to 15 another embodiment known as a one-piece structure is shown, characterized by the absence of a roller box and the lower extension of the front traction bar 7.

In this case, the base profile 9 supports by its ends side covers 12, which have the function of supporting the roller 3 of the fabric 4.

As can be seen, also in these embodiments the fixing plates 8 can be arranged in any position of the base profile 9 along the longitudinal direction in order to allow the fixing of the structure to any structure provided with pillars regardless of their position.

In summary, the innovative structure object of the present description offers manufacturing advantages, due to the simplicity of the components, to the installers, for the ease, the versatility of fixing and the progressiveness of the assembly, and to the user, for the compactness and reduced occupancy in the horizontal direction.

In addition, in the first embodiment described, the fastening elements are hidden in the retracted position and there is little visibility of the latter in the deployed position and therefore a very attractive aesthetic appearance, as can be seen on the figure 9 , in which only the drawbar 7, the reel box 2 and the side covers 13 are visible.

According to another aspect of the invention, as can be seen on the figures 16 to 20 , the invention refers to a blind structure 1′ provided with an upper frame intended to support a shade assembly 2′, the upper frame being made up of four parallel profiles 3′, 4′, 5′, 6′ two by two, the structure 1' being provided with two support pillars 7', 8' on two adjacent corners of the upper frame, so that a first section 3' among the four sections 3', 4', 5' , 6' is intended to be fixed to a structure external to the blind structure 1', while the section 5' opposite the first section 3' rests on the two pillars 7', 8'.

In particular, as can be seen on the figure 17 and 19 , according to this realization:

• the awning structure 1' comprises fastening plates 9' each provided on one side with at least one first hook 91' oriented towards the top and on the other side of a surface for fixing to the structure external to the blind structure 1', and
• the section of the first profile 3' comprises, on its external vertical surface, a first projection 31' having the shape of a hook oriented downwards and of complementary shape to the hook 91' oriented upwards of the fixing plates 9'.

Thus, as shown in FIG. 1' with an example provided with three fixing plates, the fixing plates 9' and the fixing profile 3' constitute fixing means with an adjustable horizontal position.

As we can see on the figure 17 and 19 for example, the fixing plates 9' are each provided with a second hook 92' facing upwards, arranged above the first hook 91' and the section of the profile 3' intended to be fixed to the external structure comprises, on its external vertical surface, a second projection 32' having the form of a hook pointing downwards and disposed above the first projection 31' and having a shape complementary to the hook 92' pointing upwards of the fixing plates 9' .

As you can see on the figure 16 , the fixing plates 9' comprise through-holes for fixing them to the structure external to the blind structure 1' by means of screws.

According to a variant illustrated in the figure 16 , the shading assembly 2' consists of a plurality of adjustable blades.

In this case, as shown in the figures 17 and 18 , the first profile 3' consists of a first vertical rectangular section S1', which has two vertical surfaces, a first vertical surface provided with the projection(s) 31', 32', and a second vertical surface intended to be oriented towards the shading assembly and which comprises a channel 37' for fixing the end of the adjustable slats.

As you can see on the figure 17 , the first profile comprises a second section S2' provided with a horizontal extension 33' which is an extension of the lower side of the first section S1', the horizontal extension 33' being provided at its end with a vertical section 34' oriented upwards, so that this second section S2' constitutes a channel C' for collecting water.

The upper end of the upwardly facing vertical section 34' includes a gasket 36'.

There is also provided a retractable rubber joint 35' hinged with the external upper edge of the first section S1', so as to allow continuity with an external fixing surface of the external structure, covering the space between the latter and the structure and makes it possible to channel the water towards the shading assembly 2'.

According to another embodiment, illustrated on the figures 19 and 20 , the structure comprises a 3″ section coupled to the upper part of the first section 3′, the two sections being provided with sliding means for coupling between them, so that it is possible to increase the height of the upper frame further.

In this case, provision is also made for the first profile to comprise a lower extension 3'" with a rectangular section, the lower extension 3'" being intended to enlarge the height of the upper frame from below.

In all the embodiments, provision may be made for the first profile 3' and the fixing plates 9' to comprise two complementary projections P1', P2' intended to configure a channel P3' for the insertion of a locking pin between the fixing plates 9' and the first profile 3', so as to be able to carry out an easy and reliable locking between the first profile and the fixing plates.

Finally, provision is made for the shading assembly 2' to be made up of a canvas-roller assembly, so that two of the sections constitute the side guides of the canvas, and that the roller is placed close to a another of the profiles, which could form part of the reel box.

The invention is not limited to the concrete embodiments which have been described but also encompasses, for example, the variants which can be made by a person skilled in the art of average level, for example, as regards the choice of materials, dimensions, components or configuration in what appears from the claims.

Claims (11)

1. Awning structure (1) which comprises:

   - an assembly provided with:

   ➢ a winder (3) for roll-up fabric (4);

   ➢ two articulated arms (5), provided in turn with a fixed posterior end (51) and a movable frontal end (52) ;

   ➢ fixing supports (6) for fixing the fixed posterior ends (51) to the assembly;

   ➢ a front traction bar (7) connected to the movable frontal ends (52);

   - fixing plates (8) for fixing the assembly to a wall or to pillars;

   the fixing plates (8) being provided with at least one upwardly oriented fixing hook (81), the assembly being provided with at least one portion (95) having a complementary shape to the fixing hooks (81), wherein the awning structure comprises a continuous base profile (9) which has a cross section that is longer in the vertical dimension than in the horizontal direction, so as to define:

   - a frontal fixing face (91) for fixing the fixing supports (6);

   - a posterior fixing face (92) for fixing to the fixing plates (8), which is provided with the portion (95) having a complementary shape to the fixing hooks (81); wherein the winder (3) for roll-up fabric (4) is supported by the base profile (9) and the structure comprises a box (2) for the winder (3) for roll-up fabric (4), wherein the base profile (9) has a upper face (93) for fixing the box (2) of the winder (3) for roll-up fabric (4), characterized in that the winder (3) for roll-up fabric (4) is disposed above the base profile, and in that the box (2) has a section in the shape of an upside-down U that defines a housing (21) of the winder (3), and two lower ends, a posterior end (22) for connection to the base profile (9) and an anterior end (23) .
2. Structure according to Claim 1, wherein the upper face (93) of the base profile (9) has a T-shaped section (94), and the posterior end (22) has a section in the shape of a groove (95) for the insertion of the T-shaped section (94) of the base profile (9).
3. Structure according to either one of the preceding claims, wherein the fixing of the fixing supports (6) to the frontal fixing face (91) is constituted by a system of plates (61) and grooves (97), the groove (97) being disposed on the frontal face (91) of the base profile (9) .
4. Structure according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the traction bar (7) has a section (74) which extends in a downwardly curved manner in the direction of the lower part of the base plate (9), such that, in the retracted position, this section covers, by way of the lower part, the articulated arms (5) and the lower face (94) of the base profile (9).
5. Structure according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the lower end of the fixing plates (8) is provided with a lower tab (82) which projects horizontally towards the assembly, and the posterior fixing face (92) for fixing to the fixing plates (8) comprises, on its lower part, a groove (96) oriented towards the lower tab (82).
6. Structure according to Claim 5, which comprises, articulated at the end of the lower face (94) of the base plate (9), a cover (10) intended to be up against the lower tab (82) of the fixing plates (8), this cover (10) being provided with a groove (101) for the insertion of an LED strip.
7. Structure according to any one of the preceding claims, which comprises intermediate fixing parts (11) between the traction bar (7) and the movable frontal ends (52) of the articulated arms (5).
8. Structure according to Claim 7, the intermediate fixing parts (11) are connected to the traction bar (7) by means of a groove and plate system, wherein the groove (71) is disposed in the traction bar (7) and the plate is screwed to the intermediate fixing part (11).
9. Structure according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the traction bar (7) comprises an insertion groove (73) for an additional roll-up fabric.
10. Structure according to any one of the preceding claims, which comprises two lateral covers (12), the lateral covers being provided with means for supporting the winder (3) for roll-up fabric (4).
11. Structure according to Claim 10, which comprises the two trims (13) corresponding to each of the lateral covers (12), the covers being provided, on their face oriented towards the base profile (9), with a fixing tab (14) intended to be engaged in a channel (98) of the base profile (9).
