Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Scharnier mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffes des Anspruches 1.The invention relates to a hinge with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Furthermore, a door with a hinge according to the invention and a shower partition with such a door are to be specified.

Hinges of the type mentioned are, for example, in the DE 10 2007 060302 A1 , the US 6 161 255 A , the US 5 867 869 A and the EP 1 666 688 A2 shown. These often have complicated reset systems or locking systems in order to be able to lock the door in a desired position. This locking often takes place via locking mechanisms or resetting mechanisms arranged externally on the hinge or on the door, which are operatively connected to the door or to part of the hinge via levers or linkages. This additional attachment to the hinge or door enlarges the design of the hinge and opposes a compact design of the hinge. The visual appearance of the hinge is disturbed. The enlarged design also creates large surfaces, which tend to absorb contaminants, especially when used in a shower cubicle or shower enclosure. These contaminants can subsequently impair the function of the hinge, especially if the locking and resetting mechanisms are open to the outside.

The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages described above and to provide an improved hinge, an improved door and an improved shower partition compared to the prior art.

This object is achieved by a hinge with the features of claim 1, a door with such a hinge and a shower partition with such a door.

A compact hinge is achieved in that the axle journal has at least one contact surface and the contact element has at least one corresponding counter surface, the at least one contact surface being in engagement with the at least one corresponding counter surface in the closed position and / or the at least one open position of the door fitting part , which remains in the closed position and / or the at least one open position due to the interaction of the contact surfaces and the corresponding counter surface. The door therefore does not have to be stopped when entering the shower enclosure. In the closed position, the door also remains in its position, which prevents water from escaping from the shower partition. The at least one defined open position and / or the defined closed position of the hinge thus improves the comfort of the shower partition and the use or cleaning of the shower partition is facilitated. The compact design of the hinge avoids surfaces on which dirt can accumulate. Components that protrude from the contour of the hinge, such as levers or deflection mechanisms, are also avoided. In addition, the compact construction results in a visually appealing design. The simple, externally encapsulated structure of the hinge ensures that the hinge has a long service life. All elements necessary for the locking function are located inside the hinge, the susceptibility to errors or defects can thus be avoided or excluded.

Figure 1 shows, for simplification, the hinge 100 for pivoting a door 101, in particular on the door 101 on the shower partition 110 (in Figure 6 shown). The hinge comprises a door fitting part 1, which is connected to the door 101. The connection between the door fitting part 1 and the door 101 can be both an adhesive connection and a screw connection. However, any type of non-positive, positive or frictional connection is possible. There is an axle pin 3 on the door fitting part 1, which is pivotably mounted in the counter-fitting part 2 about an axis of rotation DA between a closed position S and one of the at least one open positions O. The counter fitting part 2 can be arranged directly on the ceiling of a room or also on a profile or another fixed body 103 of a shower partition 110. Both the counter-fitting part 2 and the door fitting part 1 have a cover in the assembled state, which has been omitted in the figures for the sake of simplicity in order to ensure a better view of the functional elements located in the hinge 100. At least one force accumulator 4 is arranged in the counter-fitting part 2, which extends along a longitudinal axis LA and acts on a contact element 5 in the direction of the longitudinal axis LA. The contact element 5 is pressed by the at least one energy accumulator 4 in the direction of the longitudinal axis LA. The contact element 5 presses against the axle pin 3. The circumference U of the axle pin 3 presses against a counter surface 8 of the contact element 5.

Figure 2 shows the hinge 100. To simplify the counter fitting part 2 in the in Figure 2 shown drawing omitted to view the contact areas between the contact element 5 and the journal 3. It can be seen that the circumference U has a circular shape, the at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 "being formed by at least one concave indentations in this circular shape. Furthermore, it can be seen that the at least one corresponding counter surface 8 on the contact element 5 is formed by a protrusion protruding from the contour of the contact surface of the contact element 5, the protrusion being designed such that it can be positively engaged in at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 "on the journal 3. In this exemplary embodiment, this at least one corresponding counter surface 8 is designed as a cam, which engages in a corresponding counter shape of the at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 "on the axle journal 3. The cam-like design results in a round movement when the corresponding counter surface 8 engages the at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 ". It is thus additionally achieved that from a certain intermediate position between the at least one open position O and the closed position S, an automatic movement into the at least one open position O and / or closed position S is achieved. The contact element 5 is pressed against the journal 3 by the at least one energy accumulator 4, which acts along the longitudinal axis LA. The counter surface 8 designed as a cam slides along the corresponding at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 "until it can be positively deposited in one of the at least one contact surfaces 7, 7', 7" due to the force of the at least one energy store 4. It is provided that the at least one energy store 4 is formed by a compression spring. It is also conceivable that these can be formed, for example, by a gas cylinder or an elastomer damper. The compact design is achieved in part by the longitudinal axis LA of the at least one energy accumulator 4 being oriented transversely — preferably at a right angle — to the axis of rotation DA of the axle journal 3. Thus, a longitudinal movement of the contact element 5 along a longitudinal axis LA results in a Rotary movement of the journal 3 about the axis of rotation DA. When the mating surface 8 engages completely in the at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 ", the position of the hinge 100 in the at least one open position O and / or the closed position S is locked by the cam. This can be done by the force of the user of the shower partition can be moved from the at least one open position O and / or the closed position S. The counter surface 8 slides out of the at least one contact surface 7, 7 ', 7 "when the force of the energy accumulator 4 has been overcome. The locking means 14, shown in this embodiment as a cheese head screw, is used to lock the sleeve 13 on the axle journal 3. If the closed position S and / or the at least one open position O is to be adjusted, the locking means 14 can be released and the sleeve 13 relative to the sleeve receptacle 15 of the journal 3 can be adjusted. The door 110 or the door fitting part 1 can thus be brought into the closed position S and / or the at least one open position O and, after the locking means 14 has been ascertained, this position can be set exactly. The locking means 14 is also after mounting the cover, which in the Figure 2 has been omitted for simplification. Thus, the at least one open position O and / or the closed position S can also be set after the hinge 100 has been installed on the shower partition 110. The door fitting part 1 has a door fastening section 12, which is provided for mounting on the door 101 - preferably by gluing. However, a releasable connection such as a screw connection can also be provided.

Figure 3 shows schematically the hinge 100 in a closed position S. The energy store 4 presses the contact element 5 against the axle pin 3 along the longitudinal axis LA. The energy store 4 is arranged between the housing of the counter-fitting part 2 and a spacing surface of the contact element 5 and acts preloaded in Direction of the longitudinal axis LA. The axle journal 3 has three contact surfaces 7, 7 ', 7 "in its circumference U, which in shape match the counter surface 8 of the Contact element 5 correspond. In the Figure 3 the closed position S is shown. The counter surface 8 engages completely in the contact surface 7 and thus holds the journal 3 in the closed position S. When the door 101 is opened, the force of the energy accumulator 4 must be overcome in order to move the journal 3 out of the closed position S. Due to the round contour of the cam-shaped design of the counter surface 8, there is a sliding movement between the journal 3 and the adjacent surface of the contact element 5. The three contact surfaces 7, 7 ', 7 "are arranged on the circumference U, each of the three contact surfaces 7 "7 ', 7" extends in a plane parallel to the axis pin 3 along the axis of rotation DA and forms a depression in the circumference U, three positions are realized. Thus, the closed position S and an open position O with the door 101 pivoted inward and an open position O with the door 101 pivoted outward are defined. It is provided that the three contact surfaces 7, 7 ', 7 "are offset from one another at a rotation angle of 90 degrees about the axis of rotation DA, the contact surfaces 7', 7" being opposite for the two open positions O.

Figure 4 shows a position between the at least one open position O and the closed position S of the door hinge 100. None of the contact surfaces 7, 7 ', 7 "is connected to the corresponding counter surface 8. The corresponding counter surface 8 designed as a cam thus slides on the circular circumference U des Axle journal 3. The energy accumulator 4 is preloaded more strongly than in the closed position S or the at least one open position O. It is striking that the contact surfaces 7 ', 7 "which are responsible for the at least one open position O are smaller than that Contact surface 7 for the closed position S. If the at least one concave indentation of the at least one contact surface 7 ′, 7 ″ for the at least one open position O is recessed less deeply in the circumference U than the concave indentation of the contact surface 7 for the closed position S, this brings about the Advantage with it that the door 101 is easier i n can be moved towards the closed position S, than from the closed position S into the at least one open position O, since the counter surface 8 cannot engage as deeply in the corresponding counter shape of the at least one contact surface 7 ′, 7 ″ as is thus not preloaded as much as with the contact surface 7 and the energy accumulator 4 When the door 101 is moved into the closed position S, forces often have to be overcome, for example by a seal which is arranged on the door 101. The more pronounced contact surface 7 also achieves a higher closing force, for example the contact pressure for a seal, which is arranged on the door 101. These forces do not occur when locking in the at least one open position O. The seal has no contact, for example with a second separating element of the shower cubicle or shower partition Method from the at least one open position O in the direction of the closed position S. often an angle that is unfavorable for the user to move the door 101. For this reason, less effort is required when moving out of the at least one open position O in the direction of the closed position S.

Somit verweilt die Türe 101 in der Offenstellung O. Figure 5 shows the hinge 100 in the open position O, the contact surface 7 'of the open position O is completely occupied by the corresponding counter surface 8 of the contact element 5. The door 101 thus remains in the open position O.

The Figure 6 shows a shower partition 110 with at least one hinge 100 for pivoting a door 101. The hinge 100 can be arranged both on the top of the shower partition 110, as here for example on a fixed body 103, preferably a frame profile or in an area on the underside of the Shower partition 110. However, the fixed body 103 can also be formed by a shower tray.
