Description

The present invention relates to a baking oven comprising a separator plate making it possible to separate the baking chamber into a plurality of baking compartments.

Such a cooking oven is made so as to allow the cooking of food either in the whole of the cooking chamber or in one or more separate compartment (s).

Several documents are already known describing the use of a plate for separating a cooking oven cavity into several cooking compartments in order to use each cooking compartment independently.

This is particularly the case for documents US4780597 , EP1732359 , EP2299181 , DE10201502674 , DE10362396 and WO 2012 112 704 which disclose a baking oven comprising a baking chamber and a separator plate in a plurality of independent baking compartments, said baking chamber being provided with parallel plate guides allowing the placement of the separator plate.

However, a major drawback of the ovens disclosed in documents resides in the fact that there are thermal leaks or passage of odors, steam or certain cooking fats from one compartment to another.

This is more particularly the case when the oven comprises a steam generator, it is then imperative to avoid the passage of steam between the different cooking compartments.

The object of the present invention is to resolve the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a cooking oven comprising a muffle closed by a door, the muffle and the door delimiting a cooking chamber and at least one separation plate separating the cooking chamber into a plurality of independent cooking compartments, the separation plate comprising a seal cooperating with several internal walls of the cooking. The baking oven is characterized in that the baking chamber is provided with parallel and substantially horizontal plate guides, allowing the placement of the separator plate, the plate guides comprising at their last end at least one segment extending at a lower height with respect to a preceding segment in order to form an indentation and to allow a downward displacement of the separation plate during its insertion into the cooking chamber, in that several internal walls of the muffle have a protruding rim towards the interior of the cooking chamber, and in that the separator plate and the protruding rim of the internal walls of the muffle cooperate so that the seal rests on the rim in protrusion of the internal walls.

Such an embodiment advantageously makes it possible to prevent the passage of odors, steam or certain cooking fats from one compartment to another and to promote the establishment of the seal which can be inserted without friction along the sides. walls during the movement of the separation plate and conforms, at the end of the stroke, to the shape of the walls to ensure better sealing.

In addition, this advantageously makes it possible to avoid the contact of the seal with the walls of the cooking chamber during the introduction of the separation plate into the cooking chamber, and therefore to avoid friction which can cause wear of the seals, while allowing contact between the seal and the walls when the separation plate arrives in a final position, thus allowing a stable and sealed positioning of the separation plate.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the plate guides comprise a main segment, of greater length than the other segments and located at a greater height relative to the other segments.

According to yet another characteristic of the invention, each plate guide comprises at least three segments among which the two segments at each end of said plate guide are located substantially at the same height.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the separation plate comprises pads intended to cooperate with the plate guides.

Such pads make it possible to promote the movement and positioning of the separation plate on the plate guides. The pads also prevent wear to the separator plate caused by friction on the plate guides.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the separation plate comprises two pairs of shoes, each pair of shoes cooperating with a plate guide.

According to another characteristic of the invention, each pair of pads cooperating with a plate guide is spaced by a distance substantially equal to the distance separating the segments at each end of said plate guide.

An advantage of such an embodiment remains in the fact that when the separation plate is completely inserted into the cooking chamber, the pads are housed at each end of each plate guide and ensure a stable and sealed positioning of the plate. of seperation.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the projecting flanges of the side walls are spaced by a distance less than the distance separating the lateral ends of the seal from the separation plate.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the side walls of the muffle are spaced apart by a distance greater than the distance separating the side ends of the seal from the separation plate.

Such characteristics advantageously make it possible to introduce the separation plate into the cooking chamber without the seal rubbing against the side walls of the muffle, then the seal coming into contact with the projecting edges of the side walls when the partition plate arrives in a final position.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the seal has a substantially horizontal lip.

Such a feature advantageously makes it possible to improve the stable and sealed positioning of the seal with respect to the walls.

The baking oven 1 has stepped supports 8 and 18. These stepped supports are used to support cooking accessories, for example a rack, a baking dish or a baking sheet. The use of steps is already widely known. The steps are generally produced by means of metal wires formed and welded then attached to the side walls of the cooking chamber or are produced by stamping the side walls of the oven muffle. In this exemplary embodiment, the enclosure 2 comprises two pairs of stepped supports 8 and 18, substantially symmetrical and fixed to the side walls of the muffle 100.

The figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating the muffle in which a separator plate is partially inserted. In this view, only the muffle 100, the separation plate 3 and the lower 8 and upper 18 stepped supports have been shown for a better understanding of the invention. The separation plate is here shown partially inserted into the cooking chamber 2 delimited by the muffle 100. The muffle 100 has several walls including two side walls 5 and 6 and a bottom wall 7. The door 101 forms a wall opposite to the bottom wall 7. Thus, the walls 5, 6 and 7 of the muffle as well as the door 101 form walls of the cooking chamber.

We can in particular distinguish that the separation plate 3 consists of a rectangular body surrounded by a seal 13 having a substantially horizontal lip 131. The central part 32 of the separator plate is in depression in order to be able to collect the juices. cooking or steam condensate. The seal 13 is intended to cooperate with several internal walls 5, 6, 7, 101 of the cooking enclosure as will be described below.

The figure 3 is a side view showing a side wall 5 including a stepped support 8. The stepped support shown in this figure is a lower stepped support 8, that is to say it is located in the lower part of the enclosure 2. This stepped support 8 comprises several steps 8a, 8b and 8c intended to receive and support an oven accessory, for example a baking sheet, a dish or even a grid. The steps 8a, 8b and 8c are here made by two parallel and horizontal steel wires between which the edge of the accessory to be supported is slid. A pendant stepped support is integral with the opposite side wall 6 in order to support a second edge of the accessory to be held.

The lower tiered supports 8 further include parallel plate guides 9 allowing the placement of the separation plate. Each stepped support comprises at least one plate guide 9. The plate guides 9 are substantially horizontal and comprise several segments 9a to 9e which are substantially parallel and at different heights.

As mentioned previously, the plate guides are intended to guide the separation plate during its introduction into the cooking chamber. The plate is therefore introduced at a first end of the plate guides 9, located near the oven door until it comes into contact with the bottom wall 7 located at the bottom of the cooking chamber and the second end of the plate guides 9. The segments are here designated in an increasing manner, that is to say that the segment at the level of the first end is referenced 9a and that that situated at the level of the last end is referenced 9e.

In this exemplary embodiment, each plate guide 9 comprises three parallel segments 9a, 9c and 9e among which the two segments 9a and 9e located at each end of plate guide 9 are positioned at the same height and at a lower height with respect to the other segments of the plate guide. Furthermore, the plate guide 9 has a main segment 9c which is of greater length and located at a greater height relative to the other segments. In particular, the segment 9e, located at the last end of the plate guide, extends at a lower height with respect to a main segment 9c the previous one. This advantageously makes it possible to form a recess and to allow a downward movement of the separation plate during its insertion into the cooking chamber, as will be described below.

The figures 4a, 4b , 5a, 5b and 5c show the separation plate in two positions. The figures 4a and 5a illustrate the separation plate 3 in a first position in which the separation plate is partially introduced into the enclosure 2, as illustrated above by figure 2 . The figures 4b and 5b illustrate the separation plate 3 in a second position in which the separation plate is completely introduced and positioned in its final position in the enclosure 2, as illustrated above by the figure 1 . The figure 5c is a partial enlargement of view 5b illustrating the cooperation between the seal and the bottom wall 7 when the partition plate 3 is in the second position.

It can be seen that the seal 13 here comprises a lower part 133, a peripheral part 130 and an upper part 132 extended by a lip 131. The body of the separation plate 3 is therefore completely embedded in the seal. 13. This seal could, for example, be produced by overmolding.

The separation plate 3 also comprises pads 11 (only one of which is visible) intended to cooperate with the plate guides 9. The separation plate 3 preferably comprises two pairs of pads 11, each pair of pads cooperating with a plate guide. 9. On the figures 4a and 4b , the shoe represented is the front shoe, that is to say the one which is positioned closest to the wall 7 of the muffle bottom.

We can also observe on figures 4a and 4b that the side wall 5 comprises a rim 50 projecting towards the inside of the cooking chamber 2. The side wall 6 opposite the side wall 5 is symmetrical and also comprises a rim 60 protruding. Thus, the side walls 5 and 6 comprise flanges 50 and 60 respectively projecting inwardly of the muffle 100 relative to the upper side walls 5b, 6b and lower 5a, 6a.

So on the figure 4a , the pad 11 cooperates with the main segment 9c of the plate guide 9. The main segment 9c is located at a higher height relative to the other segments of the plate guide 9 and more particularly with respect to the segment 9e at the end of the guide of plate. Thus, the lip 131 of the seal is located above the rim 50 projecting from the side wall 5. It is the same with respect to the rim 60 projecting from the wall 6 relative to which the lip 131 of the seal seal is located above.

The figure 4b illustrates the second position of the separation plate, in which the pad 11 cooperates with the segment 9e located at the last end of the plate guide 9. This segment 9e extending to a height lower than the previous segment 9c (visible on the figure 4a ) the separation plate 3 a undergoes a downward displacement. Therefore, the lip 131 of the seal is located at the same height as the rim 50, projecting from the side wall 5 (and de facto, also at the same height as the rim 60, not visible in this figure ) and then comes to rest on these rims 50 and 60 projecting from the internal walls 5, 6, thus cooperating with the internal walls 5, 6 of the cooking chamber so as to achieve the seal between the independent cooking compartments 2a and 2b.

So that the lip 131 of the seal 13 comes to rest correctly on the flanges 50 and 60 only when the separating plate reaches its second position and not during its entire insertion into the cooking cavity, the plate guide 9 is produced and positioned in the cooking cavity 2 so that the height h1 between the upper part of each rim 50, 60 and the main segment 9c is less than the height H between the end of the pad 11 in contact with the plate guide 9 and the horizontal plane in which the end of the seal 13 is located and the height h2 between the upper part of each rim 50, 60 and the end segment 9e is greater than the height H between the 'end of pad 11 in contact with plate guide 9 and the horizontal plane in which the end of seal 13 is located.

When the separation plate is inserted, and when the latter arrives in its second position, the lip 131 of the seal 13 comes to rest against the bottom wall 7. The projecting flanges 50 and 60 of the different walls are made so as to be located substantially in the same horizontal plane. When the separation plate 3 is in its second position, the lip 131 of the seal comes into contact and cooperates with the bottom wall 7. When the door 101 is closed, it comes into contact with the lip 131 of the seal. seal 13. The seal 13 thus cooperates with the walls 5, 6, 7 and 101 of the enclosure. cooking, thus ensuring the seal between the independent cooking compartments 2a and 2b.

In this embodiment, the segments 9a and 9e at each end of the plate guide 9 are spaced apart by a distance D. The pads at each front and rear end of the partition plate 3 are spaced by a substantially equal distance d. at the distance D separating the segments 9a, 9e at each end of said plate guide 9. Thus, each pair of pads cooperates with the plate guide 9 so that at the end of travel, the separation plate 3 undergoes a moving down.

The side walls 5 and 6 are vertical and parallel and separated by a distance L3 while the flanges 50 and 60 of the side walls are separated by a distance. distance L2. The seal of the partition plate 3 is made so that the distance L1 between the side ends of the seal 13 of the partition plate 3 is less than the distance L3 between the side walls 5 and 6 and greater than the distance L2 between the flanges 50 and 60 of the side walls. In this exemplary embodiment, the lip 131 constitutes the lateral ends of the seal 13 of the separation plate 3.

Such an embodiment is particularly advantageous because it prevents the seal from rubbing against the side walls 5 and 6 during the introduction of the separation plate 3 into the cooking chamber. It is thus easily understandable, in relation to the figure 4a , that the gasket 13 is not in contact with the walls 5 and 6 of the muffle 100 during the introduction of the separation plate 3. The figure 4b allows us to understand that when the separation plate 3 arrives in a final position and moves downwards, the lip 131 forming the end of the seal 13 of the separation plate 3 comes to rest on the flanges 50 and 60 and conform to its shape.

The figures illustrating the invention have been given by way of illustration and without limitation. Obviously, the invention could be implemented according to other embodiments. In particular, the lip 131 of the seal may be replaced by another embodiment of a deformable end, for example a seal sausage or lobe seal.
