Definitions

  • the invention relates to door actuation systems for opening and closing building doors with a pivoting door leaf, in particular fire doors and escape doors.
  • door drives are known that have a controllable motor that provides the necessary force or torque to open and close the door.
  • the movement of the door leaf is motor-driven by the door drive in both the opening and closing directions.
  • passive door closers which have a pure closing function and close building doors via a lever system and a spring after they have been opened manually.
  • the DE 20 54 388 A shows such a pure door closer with attachment to a fire door.
  • a special door opener with a motorized or pneumatic linear drive is known.
  • the door opener can be used in combination with an ordinary door closer.
  • the door opener and the door closer are arranged next to each other at the level of the door leaf.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a better technique for opening and closing building doors.
  • the invention solves the problem with the features of claim 1.
  • the door operating device and the associated method provide that the door, in particular the pivoting door leaf, opened by a motor drive, but not closed.
  • the motor-operated door, in particular the pivoting door leaf is closed with an energy store.
  • one or more door operating mechanisms are present. There is a division of functions, with the motor drive only opening and the energy store only closing.
  • the motor drive and the energy store can be functionally and structurally separate units.
  • the door operating device includes one or more door operating mechanisms.
  • the door operating mechanism is used to transmit power to the door leaf.
  • the door-actuating mechanisms can be designed in particular as a lever construction and/or coupling drives.
  • a door actuating mechanism is preferably designed as an opening mechanism for transmitting an opening force of the motorized drive to the door leaf.
  • a separate door actuation mechanism can be designed as a closing mechanism for transmitting a closing force of the energy store.
  • Two separate door operating mechanisms have the advantage of allowing different kinematic couplings for the motorized drive and the energy store in relation to the door leaf.
  • the door operating device can also have a common door operating mechanism for the motorized drive and the energy store.
  • the energy store for example a mechanical spring, can be charged during the opening movement of the door, in particular the pivoting door leaf.
  • the motor drive and the energy store can act on the door, in particular the pivoting door leaf, by means of their own and possibly different door actuation mechanisms.
  • the door operating device has a door opener with the motorized drive and a door closer with the energy store.
  • One aspect of the invention is the particularly advantageous and compact arrangement of a motor-driven and optionally remote-controlled door opener and a door closer in a door operating device on the same side of the door, preferably on the inside of an outside door of a building.
  • escape doors in the outer walls of buildings usually open and swing outwards. It is therefore particularly advantageous to place both the door opener and the door closer opposite the swing side of the door, i.e. on the inside of the building, as they are better protected there from unwanted external influences, e.g. from the weather or people.
  • the swing side refers to the side of the door onto which the door leaf swings from the closed to the open position.
  • the present disclosure Compared to door drives that run the door leaf in both the opening and closing directions by a motor, the present disclosure has a design and economic advantage through the separation of the functions for opening and closing the door. In particular, lower security requirements apply.
  • the present disclosure includes a passive door closer with an energy store that is charged when the door is opened and releases the energy for closing to a structurally limited extent. Closing the door using an energy storage device does not fall under the machine directives and safety regulations.
  • the claimed door operating device is therefore much simpler in terms of design and safety and is therefore more economical to produce than a conventional door drive with a combined motorized opening and closing function.
  • the door operating device can include a door opener and a door closer as separate structural units. This refinement is particularly advantageous in order to convert existing door locking systems or to retrofit components.
  • the door operator may include a common enclosure for the door opener and the door closer.
  • the door operating device comprises a common holding bracket.
  • the holding bracket for door operating devices on building doors comprises one or more attachment sections for attaching the holding bracket to a door and one or more holding sections for attaching a door opener and door closer.

  • the holding section preferably comprises adjustable holding means which are designed to precisely position a door opener or door closer and to fasten it to the holding bracket.
  • the holding bracket is designed to arrange a door opener and a door closer at different heights on opposite sides of the holding bracket on a door.
  • the support bracket can form a recess that is suitable for the support bracket with a Door operating device, preferably a door closer to be arranged on a door frame.
  • the holding bracket advantageously forms a passage for the door operating mechanism of a door operating device, in particular a door closer.
  • the door operating device is designed in such a way that the door opener can be mounted below and close to the door closer.
  • a retaining bracket is preferably used to mount the door opener.
  • the door operating device is advantageously designed in such a way that the door opener and the door closer can be mounted directly or indirectly on a door frame and near the door hinge.
  • the door operating device is advantageously designed to hold a door leaf in its open position.
  • the door operating device can have a suitable holding device for this purpose.
  • the door operating device is designed to enable opening angles between a door leaf and a door frame of more than 90°.
  • the opening mechanism and the closing mechanism of the door operating device are preferably designed for this to act with a force on a door leaf substantially in the same horizontal plane.
  • the energy store of the door operating device is preferably designed as a mechanical spring.

  • the figures 4 and 5 show the preferred installation position of the door opener (20) on the holding bracket (10) and the Door closer (30) on the door frame (51).
  • the suitable shape of the holding bracket (10) allows the door opener (20) and the door closer (30) to be arranged on opposite sides, in particular the top and bottom, of the holding bracket (10), while both the opening mechanism (21) and the closing mechanism (31) act on the door leaf on the same side, namely on the underside, of the retaining bracket (10).
  • the holding console (10) forms a passage (14) for the locking mechanism (31).
  • the passage (14) can be as in figure 1 shown by the contour of the holding bracket (14) or alternatively formed by a bore or other opening in the material.
  • the embodiment shown is particularly advantageous for a compact arrangement of the door opener (20) and the door closer (30) under a common cover (45) that covers the door operating device (1) and thus improves the visual impression and protects against environmental influences.
  • the holding console (10) forms a recess (13), as in figure 1 is shown.
  • This recess (13), preferably between the fastening sections (11), enables a compact arrangement of the holding bracket (10) on a door closer (30) which is attached directly to a door frame (51).
  • This embodiment is particularly suitable for retrofitting a retaining bracket (10) with a door opener (20) on an already pre-assembled door closer (30).
  • a second essential part of the disclosure is a door operating device (1) for building doors (5), which includes a door opener (20) and a door closer (30).
  • the door opener (20) comprises a drive, preferably a remote-controllable electric motor, optionally with a control unit, and an opening mechanism (21) for transmitting an opening force to a door leaf (52) or a door frame (51).
  • figure 2 shows a preferred embodiment of the door opener (20) in the installed position on a holding bracket (10) with an opening lever (210).
  • the opening mechanism (21) also includes a roller (211) at the end of the opening lever (210), which is designed to form a rolling contact that can be released on one side with a door leaf (52) or a functional rail (40).
  • the door opener (20) is designed to act only in the opening direction (53).
  • the door opener (20) has a one-sided kinematic coupling to the door leaf (52) in the installed position, preferably via a rolling contact (212).
  • the opening lever (210) driven by a motor, pivots in the opening direction (53) and presses against the door leaf (52) via the roller (211). Due to the different axes of rotation of the door leaf (52) and the opening mechanism (21), the roller contact (212) moves along the door leaf (52) during the opening movement.
  • figure 3 shows an embodiment of the entire door operating device with the door open.
  • the disclosed door operating device also enables door opening angles between the door frame and door leaf that are over 90°.
  • the door operating device allows both the door opener (20) and the door closer (30) to be arranged on the same side of a door (5), in particular opposite the pivoting side (54).
  • the pivoting side (54) denotes the side of a door (5) into which the door leaf (52) opens.
