Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Regelung eines Schornsteindruckes für eine Feuerstelle (10), mit einem Druckkonstantregler (22), einem Drucksensor (24), der mit mindestens zwei Messstellen (26, 28) verbunden ist und eine Differenzdruckmessung durchführt, wobei eine erste Messstelle (26) vor einem Feuerraum (12) und eine zweite Messstelle (28) nach dem Feuerraum (12) angeordnet ist und wobei der Druckkonstantregler (22) mit einer Drosselvorrichtung (19) verbunden ist und in Abhängigkeit des gemessenen Differenzdruckes die Drosselvorrichtung (19) ansteuerbar ist. Dabei ist eine erste Messstelle vor dem Feuerraum und eine zweite Messstelle nach dem Feuerraum angeordnet. Der Druckkonstantregler ist mit einer Drosselvorrichtung verbunden, wobei in Abhängigkeit des gemessenen Differenzdruckes die Drosselvorrichtung ansteuerbar ist. Der Strömungsdurchlass insbesondere einer zu einem Schornstein führenden Abgasleitung wird durch die Drosselvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit des gemessenen Differenzdruckes eingestellt. Insbesondere wird die Differenzdruckmessung kontinuierlich oder phasenweise durchgeführt. Weicht der gemessene Differenzdruck vom Soll-Differenzdruck (der bei etwa 12 Pascal liegt) ab, wird die Drosselvorrichtung angesteuert und der Strömungsdurchlass verändert. So werden Schwankungen im Schornsteinzug reguliert. Der Schornsteinzug ist unter anderem von baulichen Bedingungen und Witterungsbedingungen abhängig und kann insbesondere bei heftigen Winden starken Variationen unterliegen. Die Erfindung führt zu einer verbesserten Wirtschaftlichkeit, zu einer größeren Betriebssicherheit und Funktionssicherheit der betriebenen Feuerstelle.
