Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sanitary fitting according to the preamble of claim 1, which is used to provide water with a desired temperature and a desired amount. Such sanitary fittings are regularly used in connection with sinks, sinks, showers and / or bathtubs. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 8 for detecting water consumption in a corresponding sanitary fitting.
- the water consumption in a household is regularly measured by means of a water meter, which is arranged in a feed line for a large number of different water consumers. With such water meters, the water consumption of all water consumers that are subordinate to the water meter can be recorded. However, consumption data of an individual sanitary fitting cannot be recorded with such a water meter.
- the DE 196 23 729 A1 describes a water meter that is built into the water outlet and measures the water flow, for example by means of a sensor wheel.
- the disadvantage is that the outflowing water is affected. It is not possible to record the temperature, ie whether cold or hot water is drawn off.
- the object of the invention is therefore to at least partially solve the problems described with reference to the prior art and, in particular, to provide a sanitary fitting whose water consumption can be recorded individually.
- a method for recording a Water consumption can be specified on a sanitary fitting, with which a water consumption can be recorded individually for the sanitary fitting.
- the proposed sanitary fitting is used to provide water as required, for example in sinks, sinks, bathtubs and / or showers.
- the sanitary fitting has a fitting housing which is at least partially made of plastic or (cast) metal.
- Water pipes are formed or arranged within the fitting housing, through which the water is conducted through the fitting housing.
- a cold water inlet for cold water and a hot water inlet for hot water lead into the valve body.
- the cold water and the hot water are fed separately from one another in the fitting housing to a mixing valve by means of the water pipes.
- the mixing valve is used to mix the cold water and the hot water into a mixed water with a desired mixed water temperature.
- the cold water temperature is in particular at most 25 ° C., preferably 1 ° C to 25 ° C, particularly preferably 5 ° C to 20 ° C and / or the hot water temperature in particular a maximum of 90 ° C, preferably 25 ° C to 90 ° C, particularly preferably 55 ° C to 65 ° C.
- the mixed water can be fed from the mixing valve to a drain of the sanitary fitting by means of the water pipes, through which the mixed water runs when the mixed water is removed from the sanitary fitting.
- the sanitary fitting also has at least one actuator with which the mixing valve can be actuated.
- the at least one actuator in particular the mixed water temperature and / or a flow rate of the mixed water through the drain of the sanitary fitting can be set.
- the at least one actuator is in particular a (single) lever or turning handle, so that the sanitary fitting is designed in particular in the manner of a so-called single-lever mixer.
- the at least one actuator can be rotated to adjust the mixed water temperature, in particular about a (vertical) axis of rotation between a cold water position in which (in particular) only the cold water flows out at the cold water temperature and a hot water position in which (especially) the hot water flows off at the hot water temperature.
- the at least one actuator is in a mixed water position in which mixed water with a mixed water temperature flows out of the outlet, the mixed water temperature being higher the further the at least one actuator is rotated in the direction of the hot water position.
- the at least one actuator for setting the flow rate can be pivoted, in particular, about a (horizontal) pivot axis between a closed position in which the mixing valve is closed, so that no (mixed) water drains out, and an open position in which the mixing valve is completely is open so that the (mixed) water runs out of the outlet with a maximum flow rate.
- the sanitary fitting has a magnet which can be moved by the at least one actuator when the mixing valve is actuated.
- the magnet is mechanically coupled to the at least one actuator, so that a movement of the at least one actuator, for example a rotation about the (vertical) axis of rotation and / or pivoting about the (horizontal) pivot axis, is transmitted to the magnet.
- the magnet is in particular arranged rotatably and / or translationally in the fitting housing.
- the magnet is rotated in particular (about a vertical axis) and / or when the at least one actuator is pivoted about the pivot axis in a translatory manner (in a vertical direction).
- the magnet can be arranged, for example, in a cavity of the valve body.
- the sanitary fitting has a magnetic sensor with which a magnetic field of the magnet can be measured.
- the magnetic sensor can be a so-called Hall sensor, for example. Since the magnet is coupled to the at least one actuator, an operating position of the at least one actuator can be clearly detected with the magnet sensor.
- the operating position represents a specific combination of the selected flow rate and the selected mixed water temperature. For example, with the magnetic sensor, the operating position of the at least one actuator between the cold water position (100% cold water, 0% hot water) and the hot water position (0% cold water, 100% hot water) and the closed position (0% flow rate of the mixed water) and open position (100% Flow rate of the mixed water) can be recorded.
- the respective operating position of the at least one actuator can be output as a sensor signal by the magnetic sensor.
- the sensor signal can be sent to an external receiver by means of a radio module, which is, for example, a WLAN or Bluetooth radio module.
- the radio module is also arranged in particular in the fitting housing.
- the external receiver can be, for example, a cloud memory from which the sensor signal or evaluation data of the sensor signal, in particular Internet-based, can be called up.
- the external receiver can also be a mobile device, such as a smartphone.
- the amount of cold water and hot water consumed by the sanitary fitting can be calculated on the basis of a time course of the detected operating positions of the at least one actuator.
- the sanitary fitting can be calibrated once after its installation in order to determine the maximum flow rate of the sanitary fitting in the open position of the at least one actuator.
- the at least one actuator is first brought into the cold water position and the temperature of the outflowing cold water or mixed water is measured.
- the at least one actuator is then placed in the cold water position from the closed position to the open position and a measuring vessel is filled with a defined volume of the cold water or mixed water. As soon as the defined volume is reached, the at least one actuator is brought back into the closed position.
- the time that was required to fill the measuring vessel determines the maximum flow of the cold water or mixed water from the sanitary fitting in the cold water position of the at least one actuator.
- the at least one actuator is then brought into the hot water position and the hot water temperature of the outflowing hot water or the mixed water temperature of the outflowing mixed water is measured (manually).
- the at least one actuator is then moved from the closed position to the open position in the hot water position and the measuring vessel is again filled until the defined volume is reached.
- the time it took to fill the measuring vessel determines the maximum flow of the hot water or mixed water from the sanitary fitting in the hot water position of the at least one actuator.
- Knowledge of the maximum flow rates and temperatures is used when calculating the consumption values of the sanitary fitting. This calibration can be repeated regularly, for example annually, to compensate for deviations.
- the magnetic sensor can also be connected in a data-conducting manner to a controller which controls the magnetic sensor and / or forwards the sensor signal of the magnetic sensor to the radio module.
- the control is in particular a microprocessor.
- the control, the magnetic sensor and / or the radio module can be supplied with energy by an energy store, such as a battery.
- the sanitary fitting can also comprise a turbine which, through the cold water, hot water or mixed water, is used to generate energy for the control, the magnetic sensor or the radio module. The magnet and the magnetic sensor thus enable consumption recording of the sanitary fitting integrated in the sanitary fitting.
- the sanitary fitting has a reed contact for activating and deactivating the magnetic sensor.
- the reed contact is in particular an electrical switch in which contact tongues, in particular made of an iron-nickel alloy, are melted into a glass tube.
- the reed contact can be actuated by the magnetic field of the magnet.
- the reed contact is in particular arranged in such a way that the reed contact can be used to determine the closed position of the at least one actuator in which the mixing valve is closed. In the closed position, the control, the magnetic sensor and / or the radio module can be deactivated to save energy.
- the reed contact is in particular connected to the control in an electrically conductive manner.
- the reed contact is set up in such a way that the (preferably semicircular) magnet in the closed position of the at least one actuator transfers the reed contact into an "open position” and thus the power supply (e.g. towards a battery) interrupts - this device can also be called “normaly closed” (NC).
- the power supply e.g. towards a battery
- the reed contact is closed when the mixing valve is closed by the at least one actuator, and the reed contact is open when the mixing valve is at least partially opened by the at least one actuator. If the mixing valve for tapping mixed water is at least partially opened, the reed contact opens and the measurement of the magnetic field of the magnet by means of the magnetic sensor is activated until the reed contact closes again.
- the sanitary fitting has a memory for storing the sensor signal.
- the memory is a data memory, in particular semiconductor memory.
- the memory is also connected to the controller in a data-conducting manner.
- the sensor signal of the magnetic sensor or the temporal course of the position of the at least one actuator can be locally stored in the memory.
- the magnet is semicircular.
- the magnet is rotatable or translationally movable by the at least one actuator.
- the magnet is rotated or rotated by the at least one actuator when the desired mixed water temperature is set and is moved in translation when the desired flow rate of the mixed water is set.
- the mixing valve is designed as a mixing cartridge and the magnet is integrated in the mixing cartridge.
- step d) is evaluated in particular with the control integrated in the sanitary fitting or with an external evaluation device which is connected to the external receiver in a data-conducting manner.
- the quantity of cold water, hot water or mixed water drawn off with the sanitary fitting is determined via the time course of the operating position of the at least one actuator of the sanitary fitting, which is represented by the sensor signal of the magnetic sensor.
- step c it is also advantageous if the receipt of the sensor signal is acknowledged with a time in step c). This meant in particular that when the sensor signal is received, the external receiver sends the time of reception back to the radio module of the sanitary fitting.
- An internal clock of the sanitary fitting can be compared with this time, so that the sanitary fitting or the control of the sanitary fitting does not have to have its own clock. This can further reduce energy consumption.
- step d) an energy consumption for heating a quantity of water drawn off with the sanitary fitting or a period of use of the sanitary fitting is determined by a user.
- the energy consumption can be determined in particular from the hot water temperature of the hot water or the mixed water temperature of the mixed water and the calculated volume of hot water or mixed water can be calculated.
- the service life of the sanitary fitting results from the time period in which the sensor signal of the magnetic sensor represents an operating position of the at least one actuator, in which the mixing valve is at least partially open, or in which the at least one actuator is not in the closed position.
- the Fig. 1 shows a sanitary fitting 1 with a fitting housing 2.
- the sanitary fitting 1 can be supplied with hot water through a hot water inlet 12 and 13 through a cold water inlet 13 cold water.
- the hot water and cold water are fed separately from one another through the fitting housing 2 to a mixing valve 3, which is designed here in the manner of a mixing cartridge.
- the cold water and hot water can be mixed by the mixing valve 3 to a mixed water with a desired mixed water temperature, which then runs out of the sanitary fitting 1 via an outlet 14 of the fitting housing 2.
- the sanitary fitting 1 is a so-called single lever mixer.
- the mixing valve 3 can be actuated by an actuator 4, which is a lever here.
- the actuator 4 can be rotated about an axis of rotation 15 between a cold water position and a hot water position.
- the actuator 4 can be pivoted about a pivot axis 16 between a closed position and an open position.
- the mixing valve 3 has a semicircular magnet 5 which can be moved by the actuator 4 when the mixing valve 3 is actuated. If the actuator 4 is rotated about the axis of rotation 15, the magnet 5 rotates about it Mixing valve 3. If the actuator 4 is rotated about the pivot axis 16, the magnet 5 is moved translationally up and down.
- the sanitary fitting 1 also has a magnetic sensor 6, with which the magnetic field of the magnet 5 can be measured and a corresponding sensor signal can be generated.
- the sensor signal represents the operating position of the actuator 4.
- the magnetic sensor 6 is connected to a controller 11 in a data-conducting manner.
- the controller 11 can temporarily store the sensor signal in a memory 10 and send it to an external receiver 8 at regular intervals by means of a radio module 7.
- a reed contact 9 is arranged in the valve body 2 in such a way that the reed contact 9 is closed when the mixing valve 3 is closed or the actuator 4 is in the closed position, and the reed contact 9 is open when the mixing valve 3 is at least partially open is or the actuator 4 is not in the closed position.
- the controller 11, the memory 10 and / or the magnetic sensor 6 can thus be deactivated with the reed contact 9 when the sanitary fitting 1 is not used.
- the present invention enables an internal consumption measurement of a sanitary fitting without an external water meter having to be connected upstream of the sanitary fitting.

Description
- Fig. 1:
- eine Sanitärarmatur.
- Die
Fig. 1 zeigt eine Sanitärarmatur 1 mit einem Armaturengehäuse 2.
