As is evident to a person skilled in the art, the part of the deposit that the carrousel goes through will be the lower part, for taking an element or a certain amount of content. As the case, extractor elements of the content will be arranged to assure that the quantity extracted is correct (a capsule, a predetermined amount of coffee, a capsule cover).
  • The coffee capsule maker may comprise a panel with at least one pilot and an on/off button, to which a programming button for the number of capsules to be prepared and a screenmay be added.
  • If you wish a larger coffee, a sealing piston may be arranged to slightly press the coffee into the capsule.
  • The housing of the cofee capsule maker will preferably be cylindrical, and preferably dismountable to facilitate its maintenance and cleaning.
  • The main movable rotating elements, the carousel and the coffee grinder are activated by a common shaft with different gears. Preferably, one of them will be a master gear or a drive gear that coordinates, activates or allows the operation of the different element.
  • The master gear can be made as a disc similar in size to the carousel and concentric to it on an upper plane, which has at least a hole that can be aligned in the rotation of the master gearaccording to its axis with the pistons, which have a down drive spring. The set of gears will assure that when the capsule carried by the carousel passes below the corresponding piston, the master gear has a hole. A retraction guide of the pistons will be placed slightly behind each hole.
  • The elements of the invention will be more conveniently explained in the following sections of the report.
  • DESIGN DESCRIPTION
  • For a better comprehension of the invention, the following figures are included:
    • Figure 1: corresponds to an exploded view of an embodiment.
    • Figure 2: correspond to a section of the embodiment of the previous figure.
    • Figure 3: a detail of the lower part of the coffee deposit is shown, specially the master gear, the nozzle and the carousel.
    MANNERS TO MAKE THE INVENTION
  • The following is a brief description of an embodiment of the invention, as an illustrative and non-limiting example thereof.
  • The coffee capsule maker shown in the embodiment of the figures comprises a housing 1, which has been represented cylindrical because it is the most compact design, which has three deposits 2, 3, 4: a coffee deposit 2, a deposit of prefabricated capsules without cover deposit 3, and a capsule cover deposit 4. Alternatively, the capsule cover deposit 4 can be replaced with a suitable multilayer material roll, from which the capsule covers will be cut when applied to the capsules without a cover. Each deposit 2, 3, 4 may have its own top closure or a common closure, as shown in figure 1.
  • The coffee deposit 2 is prepared for coffee grain, for which it has a small coffee grinder 5 in its lower part, with an optional gate between them. The coffee will be ground per unit of capsule, so that it is stored immediately in the same with the maximum aroma.
  • In a plane below the deposits 2, 3, 4 there is placed a carousel 6 with at least one hitch 7 for capsules. This hitch 7, with the rotation of the carousel 6, will go consecutively passing below the deposits 2, 3, 4, taking a capsule, filling it with coffee and closing and sealing the capsule cover. Finally, the carousel 6 will place the hitch 7 in the extracting position of the closed capsule. If the arch which has been gone through between the coffee filling and the capsule extraction is less than 180°, it will be allowed to place two hitches 7 in the carousel 6.
  • The coffee capsule maker also has two pistons 8, 9 with spring, a pressing piston 8 to press lightly the coffee inside the capsule (optional) before placing and sealing the capsule cover, and a sealing piston 9 to tighten the cover against the capsule, and through an electric resistance, produce a partial fusion of the material and heat sealing of the capsule. If the capsule covers are provided from a roll, the temperature reached by the sealing piston 9 will be somewhat higher to perform the capsule cover cut.
  • After passing by the sealing piston 9, the capsule will be taken to an extracting window 10 which comprises means for releasing the capsule from the hitch 7. These may be a pusher or a ramp capable that forces the capsule out of the hitch 7.
  • Therefore, the hitch 7 will consecutively go through the capsules deposit 3, from which it takes the lower capsule, the coffee grain deposit 2 (downstream the coffee grinder 5), the capsule cover deposit 4 with the sealing piston 9 and the extracting window 10.
  • The carousel 6 and the coffee grinder 5 may comprise a common shaft 11 driven by one or two electric motors 12 and a set of gears 13, generally planetary gears, to coordinate the action of the pistons 8, 9 and of other elements with the carousel 6. This way it will be possible to stop the rotation of the coffee grinder 5 at the moments when it is not necessary to take coffee from the coffee deposit. To do it, the coffee capsule maker will disconnect the coffee grinder 5 from the shaft 11 when enough coffee has ben ground, generally measured by the time elapsed.
  • To coordinate the capsule movements with the different elements of the coffee capsule maker, it can be defined in the gears a master gear 14 or a dragging gear, that drives or allows the operation of the different elements. To do this, the master gear will have holes 15 and guides 16 for activating pistons 8, 9 to allow their activation by the correspondent spring and their retraction. The hole 15 will allow the passage of the piston 8, 9 pushed down by the spring, while the guide 16 will retract the piston 8, 9 for its next action and will allow the master gear 14 to follow its rotation.
  • This master gear 14 will also assure the ground coffee supply to the capsule. The coffee falls through a nozzle 17 made in the base of the coffee deposit 2, after the coffee grinder 5, and ends centered in the capsule. This nozzle 17 can be provided with a little shutter (not illustrated). Preferably, part of this nozzle 17 will correspond to the master gear 14 so that discharge is allowed only when the capsule it is situated on the right position. Likewise, a hole 15 has to be rightly positioned on the capsule to allow the passing through of the coffee.
  • The invention will preferably have a control unit (not illustrated) to manage its operation and a panel with buttons, pilots and screens to properly program and monitor the operations. For example, it may comprise a pilot (usually LED) to turn on, a button to start up and another one to program the number of capsules to prepare (for example between 1 and 6). The pilot to turn on the device may comprise an intermittence code to indicate operational errors, or it may be provided with a second button. A screen, for example LCD, will include error messages ("lack of covers", "lack of capsules", "carousel blocked", etc.). Other pilots or codes may be included to indicate the grinding process, the sealing process, etc. The electronic circuit where the control unit is installed has several positioning sensors for the carousel and for the condition of the deposits.
  • It's preferable that the top part of the housing 1 is easily dismountable for cleaning the coffee powders or plastic remains from the heat sealing operation.
  • The assembly will preferably be connected to a power outlet (not illustrated). Its mechanism and operation can be incorporated in other type of compact coffee machines.
