Die Erfindung betrifft einen Applikator (1) zur Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material mit einem keilförmigen Trägerkörper (2), der mit einem Überzug (3) aus Flockfasern versehen ist, wobei der Trägerkörper (2) eine Vorderseite (5), eine Rückseite (6) und zwei Seitenflächen (7) aufweist; die Vorderseite (5) und die Rückseite (6) jeweils eine ebene Teilfläche (8) aufweisen; die ebenen Teilflächen (8) spiegelsymmetrisch zueinander ausgebildet sind; und die beiden Teilflächen (8) jeweils einen Außenrand in Form einer Achterkurve aufweisen.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Applikator zur Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material mit einem keilförmigen Trägerkörper, der mit einem Überzug aus Flockfasern versehen ist.
  • Applikatoren zur Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material an sich sind bekannt und dienen zum Aufbringen von flüssigem, pastösem oder festem kosmetischen Material. Typischerweise weisen derartige Applikatoren ein Griffelement zur Handhabung durch den Benutzer sowie ein Auftragselement zur eigentlichen Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material auf. Bei den sogenannten Flock-Applikatoren weist das Auftragselement einen Trägerkörper auf, der mit Flockfasern (kurz auch Flock genannt) überzogen ist.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen multifunktionalen Applikator anzubieten, der sowohl ein exaktes und einfaches Auftragen des kosmetischen Materials als auch eine Strukturierung der Flockfasern ermöglicht.
  • Die Aufgabe wird durch einen Applikator mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen sind in den Unteransprüchen beschrieben.
  • Der erfindungsgemäße Applikator zur Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material mit einem keilförmigen Trägerkörper ist mit einem Überzug aus Flockfasern versehen. Der Trägerkörper weist eine Vorderseite, eine Rückseite und zwei Seitenflächen auf. Die Vorderseite und die Rückseite weisen jeweils eine ebene Teilfläche auf. Die ebenen Teilflächen sind spiegelsymmetrisch zueinander ausgebildet. Die beiden Teilflächen weisen jeweils einen Außenrand in Form einer Achterkurve auf.
  • Unter einer Achterkurve wird eine Kurve verstanden, die im Wesentlichen die Form einer Acht besitzt. Synonyme wären Achtkurve oder achtförmige Kurve. Im Wesentlichen besitzt die Achterkurve einen mittigen, taillierten Bereich und Endbereiche, die bogenförmig ausgebildet sind.
  • Durch die ebenen Teilflächen, die spiegelsymmetrisch zueinander ausgebildet sind, besitzt der Trägerkörper des Applikators Bereiche, die gut gegeneinander gedrückt werden können. Daher eignet sich der erfindungsgemäße Applikator sehr gut dafür, die Flockfasern in diesem Bereich (d.h. im Bereich der ebenen Teilflächen) zu strukturieren. Eine derartige Strukturierung kann insbesondere durch ein Präge-, Prägedruck-, Druck- oder Prägeflockverfahren erfolgen. Bei diesen Verfahren wird im Allgemeinen Druck auf den beflockten Trägerkörper ausgeübt und die auf dem Trägerkörper aufgebrachten Flockfasern werden beispielsweise niedergedrückt und/oder eingefärbt oder auf ähnliche Weise strukturiert.
  • Durch den Außenrand der Teilflächen in Form einer Achterkurve erhält der Trägerkörper des Applikators eine Außenform mit relativ breiten Endbereichen und einem taillierten Mittelbereich. Eine derartige Außenform eignet sich besonders gut zum Auftragen von kosmetischem Material. Insbesondere kann der Benutzer durch diese gebogene bzw. geschwungene Form den Auftrag des kosmetischen Materials beispielsweise gut an die Gesichtskontur anpassen.
  • Insgesamt ermöglicht die erfindungsgemäße Form des Applikators damit sowohl ein exaktes und einfaches Auftragen des kosmetischen Materials als auch eine Strukturierung der Flockfasern.
  • In vorteilhafter Weise weist die Achterkurve einen ersten, dem spitzen Ende des Trägerkörpers zugewandten, bogenförmigen Endbereich, einen taillierten Mittelbereich und einen zweiten, dem breiten Ende des Trägerkörpers zugewandten, bogenförmigen Endbereich auf. Dadurch besitzt der Applikator eine relative breite Spitze und einen taillierten Mittelbereich, was sich besonders gut zum Auftragen von kosmetischem Material eignet.
  • Ausführungsformen, in denen der erste Endbereich der Achterkurve kreisförmig gebogen ausgebildet und der zweite Endbereich der Achterkurve ist ovalförmig gebogen ausgebildet, das das Verhältnis der kleinsten Breite im taillierten Mittelbereich zur größten Breite im ersten Endbereich ca. 1:6 beträgt und/oder das Verhältnis der kleinsten Breite im taillierten Mittelbereich zur größten Breite im zweiten Endbereich ca. 1:4 beträgt, haben sich als besonders vorteilhaft herausgestellt. Durch die oben genannten Merkmale ist zum einen eine besonders auftragsfreundliche Außenform des Applikators möglich und zum anderen erhält der Applikator eine Stabilität, die eine Strukturierung im Bereich der ebenen Teilflächen ermöglicht. Darüber hinaus wird eine relativ große ebene Teilfläche möglich, sodass die strukturierten Bereiche der Flockfasern einen relativ großen Anteil am Flockfaserüberzug einnehmen können.
  • Insbesondere können auf der ebenen Teilfläche zumindest ein Teilbereich mit niedergedrückten Flockfasern und zumindest ein Teilbereich mit aufstehenden Flockfasern vorhanden sein. Dadurch ist eine variantenreiche Gestaltung des Flockfaserüberzuges möglich. Die niedergedrückten Flockfasern können hierbei zum einen ein Reservoir für das aufzunehmende kosmetische Material bilden und zum anderen die optische Erscheinung des Überzugs beeinflussen (z.B. Einprägen bzw. Prägeflock von Mustern, Signaturen, Logos, Schriftzügen, Ornamenten).
  • In einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausführungsform ist innerhalb der ebenen Teilfläche eine Vertiefung ausgebildet. In besonders vorteilhafter Weise ist die Vertiefung kreisförmig im dem spitzen Ende des Trägerkörpers zugewandten Bereich der ebenen Teilfläche ausgebildet. Diese Vertiefung kann als Reservoir für das kosmetische Material dienen. Die Menge an kosmetischem Material, das mit dem Applikator aufgebracht werden kann, wird auf diese Weise erhöht.
  • In besonders vorteilhafter Weise besitzt die Vertiefung eine ebene Grundfläche, die parallel zur ebenen Teilfläche verläuft. Auf diese Weise können auch die Flockfasern im Bereich der Vertiefung gut strukturiert werden.
  • In bevorzugter Weise ist am breiten Ende des Trägerkörpers ein Verbindungselement zur Verbindung des Trägerkörpers mit einem Halter oder Stiel ausgebildet. Dadurch wird eine zuverlässige Verbindung des Trägerkörpers mit einem Halter ermöglicht, sodass der Benutzer den Applikator sicher und bequem benutzen kann.
  • Die Erfindung ist anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels in den Zeichnungsfiguren weiter erläutert, wobei gleiche Bezugszeichen gleiche bzw. gleichwirkende Komponenten bezeichnen. Es zeigen:

  • Fig. 1 bis Fig. 3 zeigen einen Applikator 1 zur Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material. Der Applikator weist einen Trägerkörper 2 auf, der mit einem Überzug 3 aus Flockfasern beflockt ist. An dem in Fig. 1 unteren Ende ist am Trägerkörper 2 ein Verbindungselement 4 ausgebildet. Das Verbindungselement 4 dient zur Verbindung des Trägerkörpers 2 mit einem in den Figuren nicht dargestellten Halter oder Stiel. Der mit dem Überzug 3 versehene Trägerkörper 2 bildet somit das Auftragselement zur eigentlichen Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material.
  • Fig. 4 bis Fig. 6 zeigen den unbeflockten Trägerkörper 2 aus Fig. 1 bis Fig. 3. Die Grundform des Trägerkörpers 2 ist keilförmig ausgebildet, wobei die breite Seite des Keils in Richtung des Verbindungselements 4 orientiert ist und die spitze Seite des Keils in den Figuren oben dargestellt ist.
  • Fig. 1 und Fig. 4 zeigen jeweils eine Frontansicht des Applikators 1 bzw. des Trägerkörpers 2, während Fig. 2 und Fig. 5 eine Seitenansicht des Applikators 1 bzw. des Trägerkörpers 2 darstellen. Fig. 3 stellt eine Schnittdarstellung entlang der Schnittebene A-A aus Fig. 1 dar mit dem Trägerkörper 2 und dem Überzug 3 aus Flockfasern. Fig. 6 zeigt eine Schnittansicht entlang der Schnittebene A-A aus Fig. 4.
  • Der Trägerkörper 2 weist eine Vorderseite 5, eine Rückseite 6 und zwei Seitenflächen 7 auf. Die Vorderseite 5 ist hierbei spiegelsymmetrisch zur Rückseite 6 ausgebildet. Auch die beiden Seitenflächen 7 sind spiegelsymmetrisch zueinander ausgebildet.
  • Sowohl die Vorderseite 5 als auch die Rückseite 6 weisen jeweils eine ebene Teilfläche 8 auf. Die ebene Teilfläche 8 der Vorderseite 5 ist hierbei ebenfalls spiegelsymmetrisch zur, in den Figuren nicht unmittelbar sichtbaren, ebenen Teilfläche 8 der Rückseite ausgebildet. Die ebenen Teilflächen 8 haben jeweils einen Außenrand in Form einer Achterkurve. Genauer weist die Achterkurve einen ersten Endbereich 9, einen taillierten Mittelbereich 10 und einen zweiten Endbereich 11 auf. Der erste Endbereich 9 ist dem spitzen Ende des Trägerkörpers 2 zugewandt und bogenförmig - nämlich kreisbogenförmig bzw. kreisförmig gebogen - ausgebildet. Der zweite Endbereich 11 ist dem breiten Ende des Trägerkörpers 2 zugewandt und ebenfalls bogenförmig - jedoch ovalförmig gebogen - ausgebildet. Das Verhältnis der kleinsten Breite im taillierten Mittelbereich 10 zur größten Breite im ersten Endbereich 9 beträgt ca. 1 zu 6 (1:6). Das Verhältnis der kleinsten Breite im taillierten Mittelbereich 10 zur größten Breite im zweiten Endbereich 11 beträgt ca. 1 zu 4 (1:4).
  • Im dem spitzen Ende des Trägerkörpers 2 zugewandten Bereich der ebenen Teilfläche 8 ist eine Vertiefung 12 ausgebildet. Die Vertiefung 12 ist kreisförmig und weist eine ebene Grundfläche auf, die parallel zur ebenen Teilfläche 8 verläuft. Die Vertiefung 12 kann als Reservoir für das aufzutragende kosmetische Material dienen, das sich zugleich (aufgrund der ebenen Grundfläche, die parallel zu der ebenen Teilfläche 8 orientiert ist) gut strukturieren lässt.
  • Der Trägerkörper 2 ist mit einem Überzug 3 aus Flockfasern überzogen. Im überwiegenden Teil des Überzugs 3 sind die Flockfasern hierbei aufgerichtet bzw. aufstehend, d.h. die Flockfasern stehen senkrecht der Oberfläche des Trägerkörpers 2 ab. Auf der ebenen Teilfläche 8 sind jedoch insgesamt drei sichelförmige Teilbereiche vorhanden, in denen die Flockfasern niedergedrückt sind (vgl. Fig. 1, schraffierte Bereiche mit Beschriftung "niedergedrückter Flock"). Das Niederdrücken der Flockfasern in diesen Bereich kann durch ein Präge- bzw. Prägeflockverfahren erfolgen. Die ebenen Teilflächen 8 auf der Vorderseite 5 und der Rückseite 6 eignen die sich sehr gut für derartige Strukturierungsverfahren. Zugleich erhält der Trägerkörper 2 des Applikators 1 durch den Außenrand der Teilflächen 8 in Form einer Achterkurve eine Außenform mit relativ breiten Endbereichen und einem taillierten Mittelbereich, was das Auftragen von kosmetischem Material erleichtert.

Claims (11)

  1. Applikator (1) zur Aufbringung von kosmetischem Material mit einem keilförmigen Trägerkörper (2), der mit einem Überzug (3) aus Flockfasern versehen ist, wobei:
    - der Trägerkörper (2) eine Vorderseite (5), eine Rückseite (6) und zwei Seitenflächen (7) aufweist;
    - die Vorderseite (5) und die Rückseite (6) jeweils eine ebene Teilfläche (8) aufweisen;
    - die ebenen Teilflächen (8) spiegelsymmetrisch zueinander ausgebildet sind; und
    - die beiden Teilflächen (8) jeweils einen Außenrand in Form einer Achterkurve aufweisen.
  2. Applikator nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Achterkurve einen ersten, dem spitzen Ende des Trägerkörpers zugewandten, bogenförmigen Endbereich (9), einen taillierten Mittelbereich (10) und einen zweiten, dem breiten Ende des Trägerkörpers zugewandten, bogenförmigen Endbereich (11) aufweist.
  3. Applikator nach Anspruch 2, wobei der erste Endbereich (9) der Achterkurve kreisförmig gebogen ausgebildet ist und der zweite Endbereich (11) der Achterkurve ovalförmig gebogen ausgebildet ist.
  4. Applikator nach einem der Ansprüche 2 oder 3, wobei das Verhältnis der kleinsten Breite im taillierten Mittelbereich (10) zur größten Breite im ersten Endbereich (9) ca. 1:6 beträgt.
  5. Applikator nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 4, wobei das Verhältnis der kleinsten Breite im taillierten Mittelbereich (10) zur größten Breite im zweiten Endbereich (11) ca. 1:4 beträgt.
  6. Applikator nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei innerhalb der ebenen Teilfläche eine Vertiefung (12) ausgebildet ist.
  7. Applikator nach Anspruch 6, wobei die Vertiefung (12) eine ebene Grundfläche aufweist, die parallel zur ebenen Teilfläche (8) verläuft.
  8. Applikator nach Anspruch 6 oder 7, wobei die Vertiefung (12) im dem spitzen Ende des Trägerkörpers (2) zugewandten Bereich der ebenen Teilfläche (8) ausgebildet ist.
  9. Applikator nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 8, wobei die Vertiefung (12) kreisförmig ausgebildet ist.
  10. Applikator nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei am breiten Ende des Trägerkörpers (2) ein Verbindungselement (4) zur Verbindung des Trägerkörpers (2) mit einem Halter oder Stiel ausgebildet ist.
  11. Applikator nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei auf der ebenen Teilfläche (8) zumindest ein Teilbereich mit niedergedrückten Flockfasern und zumindest ein Teilbereich mit aufstehenden Flockfasern vorhanden sind.
