Claims (15)
- Verbrennungsmotor (E), umfassend einen Kühlmittelkreislauf (C), in dem Kühlmittel durch eine Pumpe (P) umgewälzt wird und in dem ein PH-Sensor (PHS) so angeordnet ist, dass er dessen PH-Wert erfasst und auf der Grundlage des erfassten PH-Wertes eine Verschlechterung des Kühlmittels signalisiert, die einen Austausch desselben gegen frisches Kühlmittel erfordert, wobei der Verbrennungsmotor dadurch gekennzeichnet wird, dass der PH-Sensor mit einer Steuereinheit wirkverbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Steuereinheit ausgeführt ist, um ein von dem PH-Sensor erzeugtes elektrisches Signal zu verwalten und den PH-Wert des Kühlmittels zu berechnen, und so konfiguriert ist, dass sie die Berechnung nur dann ausführt, wenn die Kühlmitteltemperatur unter einem vorgegebenen oberen Schwellenwert liegt.
- Motor nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Signalisierung durchgeführt wird, wenn ein solches elektrisches Signal angibt, dass der PH-Wert unter einem vorbestimmten Schwellenwert liegt.
- Motor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, wobei der PH-Sensor mit einer Steuereinheit wirkverbunden ist, die ausgeführt ist, um den PH-Wert des Kühlmittels zu berechnen, und konfiguriert ist, um die Berechnung auszuführen, wenn der Verbrennungsmotor ausgeschaltet ist.
- Motor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, wobei der PH-Sensor mit einer Steuereinheit wirkverbunden ist, die ausgeführt ist, um den PH-Wert des Kühlmittels zu berechnen, und konfiguriert ist, um die Berechnung auszuführen, wenn die Zündung ausgeschaltet ist und stillsteht.
- Motor nach Anspruch 1, ferner umfassend einen Temperatursensor (TS), der mit dem Kühlmittelkreislauf verbunden ist und/oder einen Drehzahlsensor (SS), der mit einer Kurbelwelle (CS) des Verbrennungsmotors verbunden ist.
- Motor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei der Kühlmittelkreislauf ferner ein Ausdehnungsgefäß (ET) umfasst und wobei der PH-Sensor (PHS) mit dem Ausdehnungsgefäß gekoppelt ist, so dass zumindest sein Fühlerabschnitt in das Kühlmittel eingetaucht ist.
- Motor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei die Steuereinheit programmiert ist, um den Motorstart zu verhindern, wenn der pH-Wert des Kühlmittels unter einem vorbestimmten Wert liegt.
- Motor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei die Steuereinheit ein Motorsteuergerät (ECU) ist.
- Verfahren zur Bestimmung eines Kühlmittelwechsels in einem Verbrennungsmotor nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es den Schritt umfasst, ein von dem PH-Sensor erzeugtes elektrisches Signal zu verwalten und einen PH-Wert des Kühlmittels nur dann zu berechnen, wenn die Kühlmitteltemperatur unter einem vorgegebenen Schwellenwert oder innerhalb eines Temperaturbereichs liegt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, umfassend den Schritt, einen PH-Wert des Kühlmittels nur dann zu berechnen, wenn die Kühlmitteltemperatur unter einem vorbestimmten Schwellenwert oder innerhalb eines Temperaturbereichs liegt und wenn der Verbrennungsmotor abgestellt ist.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 9 oder 10, umfassend den Schritt, einen PH-Wert des Kühlmittels nur dann zu berechnen, wenn die Kühlmitteltemperatur unter einem vorbestimmten Schwellenwert oder innerhalb eines Temperaturbereichs liegt und die Zündung ausgeschaltet ist und/oder wenn der Verbrennungsmotor stillsteht.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 11, weiter umfassend einen Schritt des Erfassens von PH-Werten und Aufstellens einer linearen Regression durch die PH-Werte, um eine verbleibende Zeit oder einen verbleibenden Bereich bis zur Verschlechterung des Kühlmittels abzuschätzen, und einen nachfolgenden Schritt des Anzeigens einer solchen verbleibenden Zeit oder eines solchen verbleibenden Bereichs bis zur Verschlechterung mittels einer Anzeige.
- Fahrzeug (VL) umfassend den Verbrennungsmotor (E) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8.
- Computerprogramm, umfassend Programmcodemittel, eingerichtet, um alle Schritte der Ansprüche 9 bis 12 auszuführen, wenn das Programm auf einem Computer ausgeführt wird.
- Computerlesbares Speichermedium, umfassend ein darauf gespeichertes Programm, wobei das computerlesbare Speichermedium Programmcodemittel umfasst, die eingerichtet sind, um alle Schritte der Ansprüche 9 bis 12 auszuführen, wenn das Programm auf einem Computer ausgeführt wird.
