Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of diving masks, and in particular the masks used for underwater hiking, also called PMT (Fins-Masque-Tuba), in English “snorkeling”.
  • the underwater hiker is equipped with a mask for vision, and a snorkel for breathing.
  • the snorkel consists of a tube whose lower end is provided with a mouth portion which is housed in the mouth of the user, and an upper end allowing both the admission of fresh air and exhaled air exhaust.
  • the document FR 2 720 050 further provides that the lower part of the visor of the mask has a slightly thinner dimpled wall in order to fulfill the function of a membrane and allow the passage of sounds in the water. Such an arrangement does not, however, make it possible to be able to communicate with other underwater hikers several meters apart, or with a person remaining on the shore, while having their head under water.
  • An object of the present invention is to provide a diving mask of the aforementioned type, allowing communication in a comfortable manner with other distant underwater hikers.
  • the invention relates to a mask according to claim 1, which includes a telecommunications device which is mounted at least in part to the breathing tube.

Description

Arrière-plan de l'inventionBackground of the invention

The present invention relates to the field of diving masks, and in particular the masks used for underwater hiking, also called PMT (Fins-Masque-Tuba), in English “snorkeling”.

This underwater hiking activity allows you to observe the seabed while swimming on the surface of the water. The underwater hiker must therefore be able to keep his head under water while breathing.

Generally, the underwater hiker is equipped with a mask for vision, and a snorkel for breathing. The snorkel consists of a tube whose lower end is provided with a mouth portion which is housed in the mouth of the user, and an upper end allowing both the admission of fresh air and exhaled air exhaust.

It is known that such material has many drawbacks. First, because breathing through the mouth is unnatural, some people find it difficult to breathe orally using a snorkel. Another disadvantage is that it is not possible to speak underwater when you have a snorkel in your mouth.

Also, the use of this mask-snorkel device is not very comfortable. To remedy this drawback, the document FR 2 720 050 offers a diving mask allowing you to breathe through your nose and your mouth.

Un tel masque de plongée comporte :

  • un cadre muni d'une visière;
Such a diving mask includes:
  • a frame provided with a visor;
  • a flexible skirt comprising a partition delimiting an upper chamber for vision from a lower chamber for breathing, the partition being arranged to rest above the user's nose so that the user's mouth and nose user are in the lower chamber, while the user's eyes are in the upper chamber,
  • a breathing tube having a proximal end for connecting the breathing tube to the frame, and a distal end opposite the proximal end, the breathing tube having at least one channel fluidly connected to the lower chamber.

Thanks to this mask, the user, who has his mouth free, has the possibility of speaking. The document FR 2 720 050 further provides that the lower part of the visor of the mask has a slightly thinner dimpled wall in order to fulfill the function of a membrane and allow the passage of sounds in the water. Such an arrangement does not, however, make it possible to be able to communicate with other underwater hikers several meters apart, or with a person remaining on the shore, while having their head under water.

Objet et résumé de l'inventionSubject matter and summary of the invention

An object of the present invention is to provide a diving mask of the aforementioned type, allowing communication in a comfortable manner with other distant underwater hikers.

The invention relates to a mask according to claim 1, which includes a telecommunications device which is mounted at least in part to the breathing tube.

By breathing tube is meant a snorkel having an open distal end. According to the invention, the telecommunication device comprises transmitter and receiver modules, a loudspeaker and a microphone, as well as an antenna placed at the distal end of the breathing tube. The breathing tube preferably extends from an upper part of the frame. However, according to a variant, said breathing tube extends from a lower part of the frame or of the visor. According to another variant, the diving mask according to the invention comprises several breathing tubes.

By telecommunication device is meant an electronic device which makes it possible to transmit and/or receive a signal, such as a radio signal or even ultrasound.

Advantageously, the telecommunication device according to the invention uses a wireless communication technology. Preferably, the telecommunication device uses the “ Bluetooth® ” technology, known elsewhere, in particular in the field of computing.

The inventors have found that this technology allows underwater hikers to communicate with each other while being several tens of meters away.

According to a variant, it is an ultrasound technology, which makes it possible to communicate under water. According to another variant, the telecommunication device implements both “ Bluetooth® ” technology and ultrasound technology, in order to significantly improve the listening quality of the mask when the user is completely submerged.

Still preferably, the telecommunication device is arranged to allow communication with several users at the same time.

An advantage of the invention is that the underwater hikers, provided with masks according to the invention, can communicate with each other remotely, this which has the effect of creating moments of pleasure and sharing during snorkeling.

Another advantage of the invention is that it makes it possible to practice underwater hiking with a child in a secure manner, the child remaining in constant communication with the adult, regardless of his location in the water.

The invention also finds an advantageous application in the coaching of underwater hikers, the instructor being able to easily give instructions to a group of hikers.

Finally, the hiker equipped with the diving mask according to the invention can also stay in contact and communicate with a person who has remained on the shore or on a boat.

According to the invention, the telecommunication device is mounted at least in part to the breathing tube.

By “mounted”, it is meant that the telecommunications device is attached at least in part to the breathing tube, in a detachable manner or not. This includes in particular the non-limiting case in which the telecommunication device is housed in the breathing tube during the manufacture of said tube. This includes in particular the non-limiting case in which one section of the telecommunication device belongs to the breathing tube, while another section of the telecommunication device belongs to the frame or to the visor of the mask.

This arrangement is advantageous because it avoids cluttering the area of the mask located in front of the mouth of the user.

Yet another advantage is that the telecommunication device is placed close to the surface of the water, which makes it possible to facilitate the transmission and reception of the radio signal.

Another advantage of the invention is that the telecommunication device picks up the sounds emitted by the user through the breathing tube, following which it is not necessary to place a microphone close to the mouth of the user. the user.

Advantageously, at least one part, the first part, of the telecommunication device is placed at the proximal end of the breathing tube.

By proximal end is meant that of the two ends of the breathing tube which is closest to the frame of the mask.

One advantage of this arrangement is to be able to place certain electronic components as close as possible to the user, so that the center of gravity of the mask is not shifted to the distal end of the breathing tube.

Another advantage is to be able to place certain components, such as a microphone for example, as close as possible to the user.

According to an exemplary embodiment, the telecommunications device is housed in a box which is mounted with the breathing tube, for example by clipping, or any other detachable fastening means.

Preferably, the first part comprises a microphone and/or a loudspeaker.

Due to the proximal arrangement of the microphone, it more easily picks up the sound waves that come from the user's mouth and travel through the breathing tube.

To improve the quality of the sound information picked up by the microphone, the first part comprises a microphone which opens into the channel.

Furthermore, a proximal arrangement of the loudspeaker makes it possible to ensure listening comfort.

Advantageously, at least one part, the second part, of the telecommunication device is placed at the distal end of the breathing tube.

By distal end is meant the end of the breathing tube which is opposite the proximal end. It is therefore the end of the breathing tube which is distant from the frame and which is generally emerged when the breathing tube is a snorkel.

According to the invention, the second part comprises an antenna.

As the distal end of the breathing tube is mostly emerged, so is the antenna, which promotes the transmission and reception of radio signals.

Preferably, but not exclusively, the second part further comprises transmitter and/or receiver modules for transmitting and/or receiving the radio signals.

Advantageously, at least one part, the third part, of the telecommunications device is mounted on the frame.

The third part can also be mounted to the visor.

According to a preferred embodiment, the third part is integrated into the frame or the visor, and is electrically connected to the first part and/or to the second part of the telecommunication device. More preferably, when the third part is present, the breathing tube forms one and the same part with the frame or the visor.

Preferably, the third part comprises at least one control button for the telecommunications device. The button can be an on/off button, or else a button for adjusting the sound volume. The third part preferably comprises several buttons, and control devices associated with said buttons in order to control the telecommunication device.

In an exemplary embodiment, the third part comprises at least one loudspeaker which can be integrated into the frame or into the visor. However, preferably, the loudspeaker is connected to the frame by a connecting arm, in order to be able to place the loudspeaker as close as possible to one of the ears of the user. According to a variant, a second loudspeaker is provided, preferably connected to the frame by another connecting arm so that the second loudspeaker is placed close to the user's other ear.

According to another exemplary embodiment, the telecommunications device comprises at least one loudspeaker remote from the body of the breathing tube so as to be placed close to at least one of the ears of the user.

According to another variant, the telecommunication device comprises one - preferably two - remote loudspeakers consisting of an in-ear earphone connected to the breathing tube by a flexible cable which is preferably, but not exclusively, detachable from the breathing.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, the breathing tube forms a single piece with the frame. In this first embodiment, the breathing tube is not detachable from the frame or from the visor. If necessary, it makes it possible to easily pass cables in order to connect the first or second part of the telecommunications device mounted on the breathing tube with the third part of the telecommunications device mounted on the frame or on the visor.

In this first embodiment, the breathing tube extends preferentially, but not exclusively, from an upper part of the frame.

According to a second embodiment of the invention, the breathing tube is detachable from the frame, and in which the breathing tube comprises the telecommunication device.

In this second embodiment, the entire telecommunications device is preferably integrated into the breathing tube.

One advantage is to reduce the size of the mask when it is not in use. Another advantage is to be able to easily change the telecommunication device, for example in the event of a breakdown or else during a change technology, without having to change your diving mask. Yet another advantage is to be able to change the size of the mask, while keeping its breathing tube provided with the telecommunication device.

According to a third embodiment of the invention, said diving mask further comprises a removable connector arranged to be mounted to the breathing tube and to the frame, so that the removable connector, when it is mounted to the breathing tube and to the frame, forms a fluidic connection at least between the lower chamber and the channel of the breathing tube, the removable connector being detachable from the frame and the breathing tube, and in which the removable connector comprises the telecommunication device.

This removable connector thus constitutes an intermediate piece which is inserted between the frame of the mask and the breathing tube. It is understood that when the removable connector is mounted on the breathing tube, the telecommunications device is also mounted on the breathing tube, in accordance with the invention.

The removable connector thus ensures the passage of air between at least the lower chamber and the breathing tube.

Advantageously, the telecommunications device comprises a loudspeaker housed in the removable connector.

However, according to a preferred variant, the telecommunications device comprises at least one remote loudspeaker which is arranged to be placed facing one of the user's ears. One advantage is to improve the listening quality by placing the loudspeaker as close as possible to the user's ear. To improve the maintenance of the loudspeaker, the frame includes a fixing element to hold the remote loudspeaker.

According to another variant, the removable connector comprises a connecting arm carrying the remote loudspeaker, the connecting arm extending along a lateral side of the diving mask. Preferably, the connecting arm has the same curvature as the lateral side of the mask and borders the frame so as not to oppose any hydrodynamic resistance.

According to another variant, the telecommunications device comprises one—preferably two—remote loudspeakers consisting of an in-ear earphone connected to the removable connector by a flexible cable which is preferably, but not exclusively, detachable from the removable connector.

Advantageously, the antenna is disposed in a junction element configured to extend along the breathing tube, said junction element having one end arranged to be fixed to the distal end of the breathing tube.

The junction element comprises an electrical connection wire connecting the antenna to the other electronic components of the telecommunications device arranged in the removable connector.

Advantageously, the breathing tube comprises a fixing member, while the frame comprises a fixing device arranged to be able to be fixed in a detachable manner to the fixing member of the breathing tube in order to be able to form a sealed connection between the breathing tube and the frame, and in which the removable connector comprises a first fixing part arranged to be releasably fixed with the fixing member of the breathing tube, and a second fixing part arranged to be able to be releasably fixed with the frame fixing device, so as to be able to form a first sealed connection between the breathing tube and the removable connector, and a second sealed connection between the frame and the removable connector.

It is therefore understood that the breathing tube can be connected directly to the frame of the diving mask when the removable connector is detached, whereby the diving mask according to the invention can also be used without the telecommunication device.

According to a preferred embodiment of the diving mask, the partition comprises at least one passage to allow a circulation of inspired air directed from the upper chamber to the lower chamber during an inspiration phase of the user, and in wherein the breathing tube has an inlet channel for inspired air and at least a first exhaust channel for exhaled air, such that when said breathing tube is fluidly connected with the frame, the inlet channel d The inspired air is fluidically connected with the upper chamber, while the first exhaled air exhaust channel is fluidically connected with the lower chamber.

Such an arrangement makes it possible to evacuate the humidity from the upper chamber, thanks to which the appearance of misting on the inner wall of the visor is advantageously avoided.

According to a variant of the third embodiment, the removable connector comprises an inspired air intake duct and at least a first exhaled air exhaust duct, and, when the removable connector, the breathing tube and the frame are mounted together, the inspired air intake duct of the removable connector fluidly connects the inspired air intake channel of the breathing tube to the upper chamber, while the first exhaled air exhaust duct of the connector removable fluidically connects the lower chamber to the first exhaled air exhaust channel.

Description détaillée de l'inventionDetailed description of the invention

Preliminarily, it is specified that, by visor, is meant the face shield through which the user can see objects external to the mask. By frame is meant the peripheral part of the diving mask which carries the aforementioned face shield, the flexible skirt being preferably fixed to the frame.

According to the invention, the frame can form a single piece with the visor, in which case the frame is constituted by the peripheral portion of the visor. In the latter case, the flexible skirt is preferably fixed to the frame constituted by the peripheral portion of the visor. The frame can also be in several parts, for example a first part forming a single piece with the visor and a second part fixed around the first part. In the latter case, the flexible skirt can be fixed to the first part of the frame.

On the picture 1 an example of a diving mask 10 according to a first embodiment of the invention has been illustrated. This diving mask 10 comprises a frame 12 provided with a visor 18, and a flexible skirt 40 integral with the frame. The flexible skirt has a partition 46 which delimits an upper chamber 50 for vision and a lower chamber 52 for breathing. The partition 46 is arranged to bear above the user's nose so that the user's mouth and nose are in the lower chamber 52, while the user's eyes are in the superior room 50.

Diving mask 10 further includes breathing tube 20 which includes a proximal end 20a for connecting breathing tube 20 to frame 12, and a distal end 20b which opposes proximal end 20a.

In the example of the figure 1 , the proximal end 20a of the breathing tube 20 extends from a lower part 10a of the diving mask 10. The proximal end 20a of the breathing tube 20, in this example, passes through the lower part of the frame to open into the lower chamber 52. Without departing from the scope of the present invention, the proximal end of the breathing tube could pass through the lower part of the visor which faces the lower chamber 52.

As can be seen on the figure 1 , the breathing tube 20 extends from its proximal end along one of the side edges of the frame 12 to an upper portion 14 of the frame, and then extends in a direction opposite to that of the lower chamber 52 .

The distal end 20b of the breathing tube 20 is provided with orifices to allow the entry of air into the breathing tube. Breathing tube 20 includes at least one channel 21 which is fluidly connected with lower chamber 52 and with ports 23 of distal end 20b of breathing tube 20. In this example, the breathing tube is a snorkel.

According to the invention, the diving mask 10 further comprises a telecommunication device 500 which is mounted on the breathing tube 20. The telecommunication device 500 comprises a first part 502 which is arranged at the proximal end 20 a of the tube 20. In this example, the first part 502 includes a microphone 504 which opens into the channel 21. Without departing from the scope of the present invention, the microphone could also open into the lower chamber 52.

The second part 506 of the telecommunication device is arranged at the distal end 20b of the breathing tube 20. According to the invention, the second part 506 includes an antenna 517.

The telecommunication device 500 further comprises a third part 510, mounted to the frame, which comprises a control button 512, making it possible to control the telecommunication device. The third part 510 further comprises a control device integrated into the frame 12.

For sound reproduction, the third part of the telecommunication device further includes a loudspeaker 514 which is integrated into the frame.

Without departing from the scope of the present invention, the loudspeaker can be arranged in another location, and for example be offset from the frame while being connected by a connecting arm.

In the example of the picture 1 , it is noted that the breathing tube 20 forms a single piece with the frame 12, the electrical connection members, in particular the wires, which connect the first, second and third parts of the telecommunication device are integrated into the mask without however have been represented on the drawing of the figure 1 .

On the Figures 2A and 2B , there is illustrated a diving mask 10 ', which is a variant of the diving mask 10 according to the first embodiment. The 10' diving mask differs from that of the picture 1 in that the breathing tube 20' is connected to an upper part 12a' of the frame 12' of the diving mask 10'.

Here again, the breathing tube 20' forms a single piece with the frame 12'. Diving mask 10' also includes a telecommunications device 500' which includes a first portion 502' disposed at the proximal end 20a' of breathing tube 20'. In this example, the first part 502' comprises a microphone 504', control buttons 512' are arranged on an upper face of the breathing tube 20', as seen in the figure 2A .

The first part 502' further comprises a loudspeaker 514' which is arranged on a lower face of the breathing tube 20', in the proximal part.

The telecommunication device 500' further comprises a second part 506' disposed at the distal end 20b' of the breathing tube 20' which comprises an antenna 517'.

On the picture 3 , a 10" variant of the diving mask according to the first embodiment has been illustrated. The 10" mask illustrated in picture 3 , differs from the 10' mask of figures 2A and 2B by the fact that the loudspeaker 514" and the control buttons 512" are mounted on the frame 12". The first part 502" includes the microphone 504" while the distal end 20b" of the breathing tube 20" includes the second part 506" of the telecommunications device, which includes antenna 517".

On the Figures 4A and 4B , there is illustrated a diving mask 10‴ according to an embodiment which is not part of the invention. In this embodiment, the diving mask 10 ‴ also comprises a breathing tube 20 ‴ having a proximal end 20a ‴ at which is disposed the first part 502 ‴ of the telecommunications device 500 ‴, the first part 502 ‴ of the device telecommunication includes a 504 ‴ microphone. The variant of Figures 4A and 4B differs substantially from that of picture 3 in that the antenna 517 ‴ is not arranged at the distal end of the breathing tube but in the lower part of the frame 12 ‴. In the variant of Figures 4A and 4B , antenna 517 ‴ is an ultrasound antenna configured to transmit and receive ultrasound. Antenna 517 ‴ is also connected to an electronic device arranged in the mask which is suitable for transforming the signal emanating from microphone 504 ‴ into an ultrasonic signal. Preferably, the electronic device is also suitable for transforming an ultrasound signal received by the antenna 517 ‴ into an audio signal which is then transmitted to the loudspeaker of the diving mask.

In this example, ultrasonic antenna 517 ‴ is disposed in a housing 509 ‴ which projects downward from the lower end of frame 12 ‴.

Using the figures 5 to 7 , we will now describe a diving mask 110 according to a second embodiment of the invention as well as the removable breathing tube. The diving mask 110 illustrated in figure 5 comprises a frame 112 provided with a visor 118, a flexible skirt 140 fixed to the frame, the flexible skirt comprising a partition 146 delimiting an upper chamber 150 for vision from a lower chamber 152 for breathing, the partition being arranged to be resting above the user's nose so that the user's mouth and nose are in the lower chamber, while the user's eyes are in the upper chamber.

Diving mask 110 further includes a breathing tube 120 which has a proximal end 120a for connecting the breathing tube to the frame at a distal end 120b opposite the proximal end.

Breathing tube 120 has at least one channel 121, shown in figure Figure 6A and fluidly connected with the lower chamber 152. In the example of the figure 5 , the breathing tube 120 extends from the upper part 112a of the frame 112. However, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the breathing tube could extend from the lower part 112b of the frame 112. In this For example, the breathing tube 120 is a snorkel, the distal end 120b of which has openings 123 to allow the exchange of air with the atmosphere.

In the second embodiment, the breathing tube 120 is detachable from the frame 112. Further, the telecommunication device 1500 is disposed within the breathing tube 120.

Using the figures 6 A to 6 C , we will describe a first example of the removable tube 120 for the diving mask according to the second embodiment.

On the figures 6 A to 6 C , an exemplary embodiment of the removable breathing tube 120 has been illustrated. This removable breathing tube has a proximal end 120 a for connecting the breathing tube 120 to the frame 112 of the diving mask of the figure 5 and a distal end 120b opposite the proximal end. The distal end 120 b includes the air inlet E which consists of orifices 123.

The diving mask 110 further comprises a telecommunications device 1500 which is mounted on the breathing tube 120. More specifically, in this second embodiment, the telecommunications device 1500 is integrated into the removable breathing tube 120. The telecommunications device 1500 comprises a first part 1502 disposed at the proximal end 120a of the breathing tube 120, the first part 1502 comprising a microphone 1504 and a loudspeaker 1514. In this example, the microphone 1504 opens into the channel 121, while the speaker 1514 is arranged to direct sounds towards the user's head when the breathing tube is attached to the diving mask. In this example, the speaker is directed toward the same side of the breathing tube as the air inlet.

The telecommunications device 1500 further includes a second part 1506 disposed at the distal end 120b of the breathing tube 120. This second part 1506 includes an antenna 1517. Control buttons 1512 are also provided on the body of the breathing tube. breathing tube 120. The removable breathing tube 120 further comprises an electronic device comprising a transmitter module and/or a receiver module connected to the antenna 1517, to the microphone 1504 and to the loudspeaker 1514.

The telecommunications device 1500 further comprises receiver/transmitter modules 1505 and 1507 which are disposed, in this example, in the body of the breathing tube 120.

For its removable attachment to the frame 112 of the diving mask 110, the breathing tube comprises at its proximal end a coupling member 125.

On the figure 7 , there is illustrated a removable breathing tube 120' in which is arranged a telecommunication device 1500', this breathing tube 120' being intended to be coupled to the diving mask 110 illustrated in figure 5 . Breathing tube 120' also has a proximal end 120'a and a distal end 120'b . The telecommunication device also comprises a first part 1502' which comprises a loudspeaker 1514' and a microphone 1504'. Control buttons 1512' are also disposed on the body of the breathing tube. Like that of figures 6 A to 6 C , the removable breathing tube 120' further comprises a coupling member 125' for its attachment to the frame of the mask.

The 120' breathing tube of the figure 7 differs from that of figure 6 A to 6 C in fact the second part 1506' of the telecommunication device includes not only the antenna 1517', but also the battery 1513' as well as the transmitter/receiver modules 1505' and 1507', these elements being arranged above beyond the air inlet E of the breathing tube. To do this, the breathing tube 120′ includes a cover 124′ which has an extension forming a housing to receive the aforementioned electronic components of the telecommunications device 1500′ in a sealed manner.

Using the figures 8 to 25 B , we will now describe a third embodiment of the diving mask 210 of the invention.

The 210 diving mask shown in figure 8 comprises a frame 212 of generally oblong shape having an upper part 212a and a lower part 212b. The frame 212 is provided with a visor 218.

In this example, the frame 212 comprises an upper portion 214 forming an upper hoop and a lower portion 216 forming a lower hoop.

The upper 214 and lower 216 portions of the frame are fixed to each other in order to form a hoop surrounding the user's face.

As we understand with the help of the figure 8 , the frame 212 surrounds the visor 218. This mask further comprises a purge valve 217 for the evacuation of the water which could have entered the mask.

The diving mask 210 also comprises a breathing tube 220 which has a proximal end 220a , in this case its lower end, which comprises a fixing member 229 adapted to be connected to the upper part 212a of the frame.

In this example, the breathing tube 220 is removable. It can be detached or unclipped from the frame 212, which makes it possible to reduce the size of the mask when the latter is not in use.

The breathing tube 220, better visible on the figure 9 , also has a distal end 220b which is provided with a cage 222 permeable to air.

As will be described in more detail below, the breathing tube 220 further includes a cover 224 which cooperates with the cage 222.

Referring now to the exploded view of the figure 9 , it can be seen that the lower portion 216 of the frame 212 comprises a first element 216′ and a second element 216″ which are fixed to each other in order to form the lower portion. Without departing from the scope of the present invention, the frame could be made of one and the same piece.

It can also be seen that the breathing tube 220 comprises an elongated body 226 whose lower end 226 a is capable of fitting with an extension 228 of the upper portion 214 of the frame 212 which projects from the upper end 212 a of the frame.

Furthermore, the breathing tube 220 comprises a float 230 which is movable in the cage 222, the float comprising an upper end 230a provided with a closure device 232. As will be explained in more detail below, the float 230 is arranged in such a way that when the breathing tube 220 is immersed in water, the float moves so that the closure device 232, in this case a flexible membrane, closes the inlet of the breathing tube. breathing.

By referring to figures 10, 11 And 12 , it can be seen that the flexible skirt 240 has a generally oblong shape of substantially the same size as the frame 212 and the visor 218.

The flexible skirt has a perimeter 242 which has an upper part which is fixed with the lower part of the frame.

The flexible skirt 240 further comprises a peripheral sealing lip 244 which is arranged to bear against the user's face, so as to prevent water from penetrating between the user's face and the visor.

The flexible skirt 240 also includes a partition 246 which is arranged to rest above the user's nose. This wall 246 thus delimits an upper chamber 250 for vision, a lower chamber 252 for breathing. As one can imagine using the figure 12 , which illustrates the frame 212 assembled with the visor 218 and the skirt 240, the mouth and the nose of the user are in the lower chamber 252, while the eyes of the user are in the upper chamber 250.

In other words, the upper chamber 250 is delimited by the visor, the eyes of the user, the upper wall 246a of the partition 246, and the part of the flexible skirt which extends above the partition 246.

Furthermore, the lower chamber 252 is delimited by the visor 218, the user's mouth and nose, the lower part 246b of the partition 246, and by the part of the flexible skirt which extends below the partition. 246.

In this example, the partition comprises a pair of passages 254 provided with non-return valves which are arranged to allow a circulation of inspired air directed solely from the upper chamber 250 to the lower chamber 252 during an inspiration phase of the user. In this example, the flexible skirt is made of silicone, and forms a single piece with the partition 246, the sealing lip 244 and the perimeter 242.

On the figure 13 , there is illustrated the breathing tube 220, viewed from its proximal end 220a.

It can be seen that the breathing tube 220 includes an inspired air intake channel 260 which extends between the proximal end 220a of the breathing tube and the distal end 220b of the breathing tube. This inspired air intake channel thus extends along the longitudinal direction of the body 226. As will be explained in more detail below, the inspired air intake channel opens into the upper chamber.

The breathing tube 220 also comprises two channels 221 fluidically connected with the lower chamber, namely a first exhaled air exhaust channel 262, which also extends in the longitudinal direction of the body 226 between the proximal end 220a and the distal end 220b of the breathing tube 220. This first exhaled air exhaust channel 262 communicates with the lower chamber 252.

In this example, the breathing tube 220 has a second exhaled air exhaust channel 264 similar to the first exhaled air intake channel.

As can be seen on the figure 13 the inspired air intake channel 260 is separated from the first and second air exhaust channels 262, 264 by two longitudinal walls 266, 268.

As can be seen on the figure 14 , which shows the frame 212 assembled with the flexible skirt 240 in top view, the extension 228 also includes a central channel 270 arranged to communicate with the inspired air intake channel 260 when the breathing tube is attached to the frame , and two exhalation channels 272, 274 arranged to communicate respectively with the first and second exhaled air exhaust channels 262,264.

Referring now to the figure 15 , it can be seen that the frame 212 further comprises a top connection 280 which protrudes from the upper portion 214 of the frame 212. The flexible skirt 240 for its part comprises a top sleeve 282 which protrudes from an upper part of the flexible skirt 240 by opening into the upper chamber 250. It can be seen that the top connector 280 engages inside the top sleeve 282 in order to create a tight connection between these two elements. On the figure 15 , the arrow F1 symbolizes the flow of inspired fresh air.

It is understood that during an inspiration phase, the fresh air enters the breathing tube, flows into the inspired air intake channel, then into the upper chamber 250 by crossing the top sleeve 282.

On va maintenant s'intéresser au circuit d'air expiré.We will now focus on the exhaled air circuit.

In the frame 212, and more particularly in the upper part 214 of said frame, there is a first internal duct 290 for the exhaled air, and a second internal duct 292 for the exhaled air. However, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the first and second internal ducts 290, 292 can be made in a peripheral periphery 219 of the visor 218 which borders the inner periphery of the frame 212. According to another variant, the mask can comprise a single internal conduit for exhaled air. Similarly, the breathing tube may also include a single inspired air intake channel.

As can be seen on the figure 16 , these first and second internal ducts are arranged on either side of a longitudinal plane P of the mask. This plane P here constitutes the plane of symmetry of the mask.

Insofar as the first and second internal ducts 290,292 are identical, only the first internal duct 290 will be described. The latter has an upper end which corresponds to the outlet of the channel 272 illustrated in figure 14 . The first internal duct 290 also has a lower end.

Furthermore, the flexible skirt 240 further comprises a first sleeve 2100 projecting from a first side edge 241 of the flexible skirt 240 extending towards the upper part 212a of the frame 212. The first sleeve, which forms a single piece with the flexible skirt, has a lower end 2100a opening into the lower chamber 252 and an upper end 2100b opposite the lower end, which is fluidly connected with the lower end of the first internal duct . It is understood that the sleeve forms a conduit for the exhaled air.

The flexible skirt further comprises a second sleeve 2200, identical to the first sleeve 2100, the second sleeve 2200 protrudes from a second side edge 243 of the skirt 240, opposite the first side edge 241. The second sleeve has a lower end 2200a emerging in the lower chamber 252 and an upper end 2200b opposite the lower end which is fluidly connected with the lower end 292b of the second internal conduit 292.

By referring to the figure 16 , it can be seen that the first internal duct 290 extends between the top of the frame and a lower end 214a of the upper portion 214 of the frame.

By referring to figure 16 , 17A and 10B, it can be seen that the frame 212, and more precisely the lower end of the upper portion 214 of the frame 212 comprises a first lateral connector 2110 which is engaged in the second end 2100b of the first sleeve. To improve the hold and sealing, the first lateral connector 2110 has ribs 2112 on its outer face 2110a, the ribs 2112 cooperate with the inner face 2101 of the second end of the first sleeve. Referring again to the figure 16 , it can be seen that the second end of the first sleeve is flush with a lateral side 212c of the frame 212.

It is therefore understood that the exhaled air flows successively through the first sleeve 2100, through the first internal pipe 290 then through the first exhaled air exhaust channel 262. This flow of outgoing air is illustrated by arrow F2. Arrow F3 illustrates the other outgoing air circuit which flows via the second sleeve 2200 and the second internal duct 292.

Using the figures 18 to 20 , we will now describe more particularly the upper portion of the breathing tube 220.

The breathing tube 220 of the mask according to the invention comprises at its upper end means for regulating the air inlets and outlets in the breathing tube. For this purpose, the breathing tube 220 comprises a plate 2300 which is arranged in a sealed manner between the cover 224 and the upper end 226b of the body 226 of the breathing tube 220.

This plate has a main orifice 2302 communicating with the inlet E of the breathing tube. In this example, the entrance E of the breathing tube is made through slots 223 made in the cage 222.

The wafer 2300 further comprises an inlet 2304 communicating with the inlet 260a of the inspired air emission channel 260.

The wafer 2300 further comprises a first outlet orifice 2306 which communicates with the outlet 262a of the first exhaust channel 262.

The wafer 2300 further comprises a second outlet orifice 2308 which communicates with the outlet 264a of the second exhaled air exhaust channel.

As can be seen using the figure 18 , the sections of the main orifice 2302, of the inlet 2304 and of the two outlet orifices 2306, 2308, correspond substantially to the cross sections of the inspired air intake channel 260 and of the exhaust channels of breath 262, 264.

The wafer 2300 further comprises a first non-return valve 2310 arranged opposite the first inlet 2304, in order to close said inlet orifice during an expiration phase. The wafer 2300 further comprises a second non-return valve 2312, arranged opposite the first outlet orifice in order to close said first outlet orifice during an inspiration phase. And, in this example, the wafer 2300 also includes a third non-return valve 2312 which is arranged to close off the second outlet orifice during an inspiration phase.

The breathing tube 220 further comprises a fluidic communication chamber 2350 into which the main orifice 2302, the inlet 2304, the first outlet orifice 2306 and the second outlet orifice 2308 open. The fluidic communication chamber 2350 is formed in the cover 224 which is sealed to the upper end of the body 226.

On the figure 19 , the configuration of the breathing tube during an inspiration phase has been illustrated. It is understood that the inspired fresh air illustrated by the arrow F1, enters the cage 222 via the slots 223, then enters the fluidic communication chamber 2350 via the main office 2302 then enters the air intake channel inspired 260 through the inlet port 2304, the first check valve 2310 then being opened to allow the flow of air to pass.

On the figure 20 , there is illustrated the case in which the breathing tube is immersed in water. The float 230, under the action of Archimedes' thrust, rises in the cage 222 until the device shutter 232 closes off the main orifice 2302, which has the effect of closing the inlet of the breathing tube.

On constate alors que la sangle élastique forme un « X ».As illustrated in the example of the figure 21 , the diving mask 210 further comprises an elastic retaining strap 2400 which extends between the upper portion 214 of the frame and the lower portion 216. The elastic strap 2400 comprises two connection points 2402,2404 with the upper portion 214 and two connection points 2406, 2408 with the lower portion 216. It is then observed that the elastic strap forms an “X”.

The upper portion 214 of the frame 212 also comprises two loops 2410, 2412 in which the ends of the two upper portions of the strap portions 2414, 2416 are engaged. 2418, 2420 wider than the slots 2422, 2424 formed in the loops, which has the effect of ensuring the maintenance of the elastic strap 2400 to the frame.

According to this first embodiment, the diving mask 210 further comprises a telecommunication device 2500 which is also mounted on the breathing tube 220. As such, the diving mask 210 comprises a removable connector 600 arranged to be mounted on the tube breathing tube and the frame, so that the removable connector 600, when fitted to the breathing tube and the frame, forms a fluid connection between the lower chamber 252 and the exhaled air exhaust channels 262,264 of the breathing tube. breathing, and between the upper chamber 250 and the inspired air intake channel 260. As will be explained in more detail below, the removable connector is detachable from the frame 212 and the breathing tube 220.

According to the third embodiment, the removable connector 600 comprises the telecommunication device 2500.

The telecommunications device 2500 comprises, in the example of Figures 22A and 22B , a loudspeaker 2514 which is housed in the removable connector 600.

The telecommunication device 2500 further comprises a transmitter module 2505 of a radio signal, and a receiver module 2507 of a radio signal.

In this example, the radio signal is a signal conforming to the “ Bluetooth® ” protocol, known from elsewhere. The transmitter and receiver modules are therefore configured to transmit or receive radio signals according to this wireless transmission protocol. The loudspeaker 2514 is connected to the receiver module by a wired connection not shown here.

The telecommunication device includes an antenna 2517, which makes it possible to receive and transmit radio signals. This antenna 2517 is connected to the transmitter 2505 and receiver 2507 modules. The telecommunications device 2500 further comprises control buttons 2512 which are arranged, in this example, on the removable connector.

The telecommunications device 2500 further comprises a microphone 2504, connected to the transmitter module 2505. The microphone 2504 opens into at least one of the ducts of the removable connector, preferably into the inspired air exhaust duct.

When the removable connector 600 is mounted to the frame 212 of the diving mask and to the breathing tube 220, the telecommunications device 2500 is de facto mounted to the breathing tube 220.

More specifically, the removable connector 600 is interposed between the upper part 212a of the frame 212 and the breathing tube 220. As can be seen in the figure 8 , the removable connector is located at the proximal end of the breathing tube 20 when these two parts are assembled together.

With reference to the figure 22 A , the removable connector 600 comprises an inspired air intake duct 602, and a first and a second exhaled air exhaust duct 604,606 which extend on either side of the air intake duct. inspired air 602. As mentioned above, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the removable connector 600 may comprise a single conduit when the breathing tube comprises a single channel.

When removable connector 600, breathing tube 220, and frame 212 are mounted together, inspired air intake conduit 602 of removable connector 600 fluidly connects inspired air intake channel 260 of breathing tube 220 to the upper chamber 250, while the first and second exhaled air exhaust ducts 604,606 of the removable coupling 606 fluidically connect the lower chamber 252 to the first and second exhaled air exhaust ducts 262,264 of the breathing tube 220.

The removable connector 600 has a first end 600a shaped to cooperate with the proximal end 220a of the breathing tube, and a second end 600b which is shaped to cooperate with the extension 228 of the upper portion of the frame 212.

More precisely, we understand using the figure 14 that when the removable connector is attached to the frame 212 and the breathing tube 220, the inspired air intake duct 602 of the removable connector is fluidly connected to the central channel 270 of the extension 228, while the first and second exhaled air exhaust conduits 604,606 are fluidly connected to the exhalation channels 272,274.

To ensure the fixing of the removable connector 600 to the frame 212 and to the breathing tube 220, the breathing tube 220 comprises a fixing member 229, visible in figure 9 . The frame 12 comprises a fixing device, constituted here by the extension 228 illustrated in figure 14 , arranged to be able to be coupled in a detachable manner to the fixing member 229 of the breathing tube in order to be able to form a sealed connection between the breathing tube and the frame.

The removable connector 600 also comprises a first fixing part 608, located at the first end 600 a , arranged to be fixed in a detachable manner with the fixing member 229 of the breathing tube 220. The first fixing part 608 is shaped to fit into the fixing member 229 of the breathing tube 220.

The removable connector 600 comprises a second fixing part 610 arranged to be able to be fixed in a detachable manner with the fixing device 228 of the frame 212. As can be understood with the help of the figure 14 And 24 , the fixing device 228 of the frame 212 is shaped to fit inside the second fixing part 610.

This arrangement makes it possible to produce a first sealed connection between the breathing tube 220 and the removable connector 600, and a second sealed connection between the frame and the removable connector.

It is understood that it is also possible to directly connect the breathing tube 220 to the frame 212 of the mask, as illustrated in figure 16 , for example when considering not to use the telecommunication device.

The removable connector 600 comprises a body 611 provided with a housing 612 which receives the loudspeaker 2514, the transmitter module, the receiver module, the microphone and the antenna. The removable connector further comprises a battery and control buttons 512.

On the figure 23 , there is illustrated a variant of the removable connector 600 '. The 600' removable connector of the figure 23 differs from the removable coupling 600 of the figure 22A in that the loudspeaker 2514' is offset and is connected to the removable connector 600' by a connecting arm 614' which extends laterally with respect to the frame 212. As can be understood with the aid of the figure 23 , the remote loudspeaker 2514' is located opposite the user's ear, which significantly improves the listening quality.

To improve the maintenance of the connecting arm 614 ' during underwater hiking, the frame 212 includes a fixing element 219 to allow the connection arm 614' to be fixed to the frame 212. This fixing element 219, shown schematically in the figure 23 , is an extension of the mask frame strapping. It is specified here that this remote loudspeaker configuration can also be implemented in the first and second embodiments of the diving mask described above.

On the Figures 24A and 24B , another variant of the 600" removable coupling is illustrated. The 600" removable coupling shown on the Figures 24A and 24B differs from the removable coupling 600 of the Figure 22A in that the antenna is not arranged in the housing of the removable connector, but at the distal end 220b of the breathing tube 220 when the latter is attached to the removable connector 600".

To do this, the removable connector comprises a joining element 616" which protrudes from the body 611" of the removable connector 600" so as to extend along the breathing tube 220 when the latter is attached to the removable connector 600" . . Junction element 616" receives antenna 2517 at its distal end 617". As we understand with the help of the figure 24 B , the distal end 617" of the joining element 616" is shaped to be attached to the distal end 220b of the breathing tube. In this example, the attachment is achieved by the fact that the distal end 617" of the junction element is made of flexible material and forms a hook, the end of which cooperates with the slots 223 made in the cage 222 of the breathing tube. 220.

As can be seen on the figure 24A , the telecommunication device further comprises control buttons 2512 arranged on the body 611″ of the removable connector.

On the Figures 25A and 25B , a variant of the 600"' removable connector has been illustrated. The 600 ‴ removable connector of the Figures 25A and 25B differs from that of Figures 24A and 24B by the fact that the loudspeaker is offset laterally, like the variant of the figure 23 .

THE figures 26 and 27 show a microphone housing 1509 configured to be mounted, for example and without limitation, on a breathing tube 120 such as that shown in figures 6 A to 6 C .

As shown in the exploded view of the figure 26 , the housing 1509 comprises a body 1511 defining a housing in which the microphone 1504 is arranged. The housing further comprises a face 1515 configured to cover the opening of the housing defined by the body.

In addition, the housing 1509 includes a damping block 1521, for example formed from a material of the foam type, placed between the microphone 1504 and the face 1515.

The body 1511 also comprises sealing means 1519, 1519' which include, for example and in a non-limiting way, two sealing lips extending annularly around the body 1511.

There figure 27 shows the assembly of the housing 1509 on the breathing tube 120.

The breathing tube 120 has a wall 127 in which is formed an orifice 129. For example and without limitation, the orifice 129 is formed in the wall opposite that on which the loudspeaker 1514 is mounted.

Housing 1509 is mounted on wall 127 extending through orifice 129 so that face 1515 is disposed within tube 120 ; in other words, the face 1515 of the housing 1509 opens into the channel 121 of the breathing tube 120 ; the sealing means 1519, 1519' are thus configured to provide sealing between the wall 127 and the casing 1509, the sealing lips coming into contact with the two opposite faces of the wall 127. It is understood that the casing 1509 is thus housed in the thickness of material forming the wall 127.

The housing 1509 thus makes it possible to prevent the microphone 1504 from being exposed to water, which would compromise its operation.

So that the housing 1509 does not compromise the quality of the signal picked up by the microphone 1504, the face 1515 has a small thickness and is formed in a material of the silicone type. In addition, to ensure the propagation of the sound between the face 1515 and the microphone 1504, a sufficient volume between these elements is provided in the housing of the housing 1509.

The body 1511 is formed in an elastic material such as silicone and has a thickness configured to reduce the vibrations generated by the breathing tube 120; preferably, the thickness of the body 1511 is greater than that of the face 1515. The thickness of the body 1511 denotes the thickness of the various walls constituting the body 1511.

The body 1511 also has a face 1523 disposed outside the tube 120 ; for example and in a non-limiting way, the face 1523 of the body 1511 comprises an elastic material such as silicone glue, so as to participate in the sealing of the housing while contributing to the reduction of the vibrations generated by the breathing tube 120 .

The presence of the damper block 1521 also participates in damping the vibrations of the breathing tube 120.

Thus the housing 1509 receiving the microphone 1504 and mounted in the wall of the breathing tube 120 makes it possible both to protect the microphone from humidity while filtering the mechanical vibrations emitted by the breathing tube 120.
