    - two first side elements (3) and two second side elements (4), whereby the second side elements (4) are hinged by first joints (10) to the first side element (3),
    - whereby the two second side elements (4) each comprise two second side plates (6), which are arrangeable relative to each other by a second joint (12) about a vertical second joint axis (13),
    - whereby the cover element (2) is hinged by a third joint (14) to one of the first side element (3), so that the box (1) is transferable by the position of the elements (2, 3, 4) from a use position to a storage position,
    whereby the second joint (12) comprises a second joint axis (13), off-center to the second side plates (6), and two contact surfaces (25, 26) of the second side plates (6), spaced from the second joint axis (13), which contact surfaces (25, 26) in the use position of the box (1) are in contact, so that a movement of the second side elements (4) about the second joint axis (13) is free inwards and a movement of the second side elements (4) about the second joint axis (13) is blocked outwards,
    characterized in that
    the box (1) comprises a holding device (7), which holding device (7) interconnects the first side elements (3) in the storage position, whereby the holding device (7) is U-shaped, and comprises one on a first side element (3) hinged bracket and in the opposite first side element (3) arranged recess, in which recess the bracket in the storage position the first side element (3) is movable by clamping.
  2. Foldable box according to claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the cover element (2) comprises two cover plates (5), which cover plates (5) are movable relative to one another by a fourth joint (16) about a fourth joint axis (17).
  3. Foldable box according one of the claims 1 to 2,
    characterized in that
    a movement of the cover plates (5) by the fourth joint (16) to the outside is free and a movement of the cover plates (5) is locked inwards,
  4. Foldable box according to one of the claims 2 to 3,
    characterized in that
    the two cover plates (5) are each hinged each by a third joint (14) to one of the first side elements (3).
  5. Foldable box according to one of the claims 1 to 4,
    characterized in that
    a movement of the cover plates (5) by the third joint (14) is free outwards and is blocked inwards.
  6. Foldable box according to one of the claims 1 to 5,
    characterized in that
    the box comprises a further cover element (19) and/or a further second side element (20), which further cover element (19) is neighboring and parallel to the cover element (2) respectively which further second side element (20) is neighboring and parallel to the second side element (4) arrangeable.
  7. Foldable box according to one of the claims 1 to 6,
    characterized in that
    the box (1) comprises a wrapping (8), which wrapping (8) at the box (1), lying outside, extends at least over a joint (10, 11, 14, 16).
  8. Foldable box according to claim 7,
    characterized in that
    the wrapping (8) extends over the side elements (3, 4) and the cover element (2).
  9. Foldable box according to claim 7 or 8,
    characterized in that
    the wrapping (8) has a slight prestressing, so that the wrapping (S) adapts to the respective shape of the box (1).
  10. Foldable box according to claim 7, 8 or 9,
    characterized in that
    the wrapping (8) comprises strips (18) made of a stretchable textile and the strips extend diagonally across the corner area of the first side element (3) and the second side element (4).
  11. Foldable box according to claim 10,
    characterized in that
    each strip (18) in the region of the second axis (13) is fastened to the wrapping (8), because in this region the wrapping (8) undergoes the greatest deformation at the transition from the use position to the storage position.
  12. Foldable box according to one of the claims 1 to 11,
    characterized in that
    the foldable box (1) has the shape of a cube.
  13. Foldable box according to one of claims 1 to 12,
    characterized in that
    the foldable box (1) is stackable.
  14. Foldable box according to claim 13,
    characterized in that
    the stacked boxes (1) are held together with a bracket (23), whereby the bracket (23) encloses each one of the side elements (3, 4) of the box and/or the connection between two boxes (1) is made by the holding device (7).
  15. Foldable box according to one of claims 1 to 14,
    characterized in that
    the storage position has a smaller volume compared to the use position.
