Description
- La présente invention concerne un transformateur électrique du type comportant :
- un noyau magnétique,
- un premier bobinage enroulé autour du noyau magnétique et recevant sur son entrée un courant alternatif d'entrée,
- un deuxième bobinage enroulé autour du noyau magnétique et fournissant sur sa sortie un courant alternatif de sortie,
- un espace de réception défini entre les premier et deuxième bobinages,
- un matériau isolant coulé à l'intérieur de l'espace de réception pour isoler électriquement le premier bobinage du deuxième bobinage.
- La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un tel transformateur.
- Dans la description qui va suivre, on appelle « enroulement primaire » le premier bobinage et « enroulement secondaire » le deuxième bobinage.
- Par
EP2782435 on connaît un transformateur du type précité. Un tel transformateur est utilisé fréquemment en tant que transformateur sec de distribution ou de puissance, dans un environnement intérieur. Dans ce type de transformateur, le matériau isolant est une résine dopée. - Un tel matériau isolant est notamment propre à permettre une isolation diélectrique efficace entre l'enroulement primaire et l'enroulement secondaire du transformateur. Du fait de son excellente tenue au feu, il confère par ailleurs au transformateur une protection accrue contre un risque d'incendie. Il permet également au transformateur d'être protégé efficacement contre les agressions dues à une atmosphère industrielle, telles que des poussières ou des agents chimiques par exemple.
- Toutefois, lorsqu'un tel transformateur est utilisé dans un environnement extérieur et/ou dans des conditions thermiques extrêmes, il est soumis à des phénomènes de vibration ou de dilatation plus importants qu'en environnement intérieur. Ces phénomènes génèrent des contraintes mécaniques fortes à l'interface entre les enroulements et le matériau isolant. La résine employée dans le matériau isolant est alors susceptible de se fissurer à cette interface. De telles fissures sont préjudiciables au bon fonctionnement du transformateur, car des défauts d'isolation électrique sont susceptibles d'apparaître. En outre, l'efficacité du refroidissement d'un tel transformateur n'est pas optimale, l'échange thermique entre le transformateur et l'environnement extérieur étant limité par la nature du matériau isolant employé, en l'occurrence la résine. De ce fait, des points d'échauffement locaux sont susceptibles d'apparaître sur la surface extérieure du transformateur et d'engendrer une dégradation de la résine époxyde.
- Le but de l'invention est de pallier ces inconvénients en proposant un transformateur électrique permettant d'éviter l'apparition de fissures sur le matériau isolant et d'améliorer l'échange thermique avec l'environnement extérieur.
- A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un transformateur électrique et un procédé de fabrication d'un tel transformateur électrique suivant les revendications 1 à 11 et 12, 13, respectivement.
- Les caractéristiques et avantages de l'invention apparaîtront à la lecture de la description qui va suivre, donnée uniquement à titre d'exemple, et faite en référence aux dessins annexés, sur lesquels :
- la
figure 1 est une vue schématique d'un transformateur électrique selon l'invention ; - la
figure 2 est une vue en coupe transversale du transformateur électrique de lafigure 1 ; - la
figure 3 est une vue en perspective du transformateur électrique de lafigure 1 ; et - la
figure 4 est un organigramme représentant un procédé de fabrication d'un transformateur électrique selon l'invention. - La
figure 1 représente un transformateur électrique 10 d'un courant alternatif monophasé d'entrée en un courant alternatif monophasé de sortie. Dans l'exemple de réalisation, le transformateur 10 est relié d'une part à un convertisseur de courant 12, fournissant le courant alternatif monophasé d'entrée, et d'autre part à un convertisseur de tension 14, recevant le courant alternatif monophasé de sortie. Dans l'exemple de réalisation, le transformateur 10 est un transformateur sec de traction, pour un véhicule ferroviaire. Le transformateur 10 présente une puissance électrique de valeur par exemple sensiblement égale à 290 kVA. - Le convertisseur de courant 12 est par exemple installé sous la caisse du véhicule ferroviaire et est propre à être relié à une caténaire 15, délivrant un courant et présentant une haute tension de valeur, par exemple, égale à 25 kV et une fréquence de valeur, par exemple, égale à 50 Hz. La tension du courant alternatif monophasé d'entrée délivré par le convertisseur 12 présente une valeur par exemple sensiblement égale à 25 kV.
- Le convertisseur de tension 14 est par exemple également installé sous la caisse du véhicule ferroviaire et est propre à être relié à un moteur électrique, installé dans le véhicule ferroviaire. Le courant alternatif monophasé de sortie délivré par le transformateur 10 présente une basse tension de valeur par exemple comprise entre 3 kV et 5kV, typiquement de l'ordre de 3,6 kV.
- Le transformateur 10 comporte un noyau magnétique 16, un enroulement primaire 18 et un enroulement secondaire 20, couplé magnétiquement à l'enroulement primaire 18. L'enroulement primaire 18 est relié au convertisseur de courant 12 et reçoit sur une entrée le courant alternatif monophasé d'entrée. L'enroulement secondaire 20 est relié au convertisseur de tension 14, et fournit sur une sortie le courant alternatif monophasé de sortie.
- Dans l'exemple de réalisation de la
figure 2 , le noyau magnétique 16 est de forme torique allongée. Il n'est connecté à aucun potentiel électrique et est classiquement formé d'un empilage de tores cylindriques recouvert par une épaisseur de tissu de verre. Chaque tore cylindrique est classiquement formé d'un empilage de tôles magnétiques feuilletées. Le noyau magnétique 16 présente une hauteur par exemple sensiblement égale à 30 cm, un diamètre intérieur par exemple sensiblement égal à 10 cm et un diamètre extérieur par exemple sensiblement égal à 19 cm. - L'enroulement primaire 18 est par exemple constitué, comme connu en soi, d'un fil de cuivre isolé, enroulé autour du noyau magnétique 16. En variante, l'enroulement primaire 18 est formé de bandes d'un métal conducteur, par exemple du cuivre, les bandes étant enroulées autour du noyau magnétique 16.
- L'enroulement secondaire 20 est classiquement constitué d'un fil de cuivre isolé, enroulé à distance autour de l'enroulement primaire 18.
- En variante, le noyau magnétique 16 est connecté à une masse électrique. L'enroulement primaire 18 est alors enroulé à distance autour du noyau magnétique 16 et est séparé du noyau magnétique 16 par une couche de matériau isolant 30.
- Comme illustré sur la
figure 2 , le transformateur 10 comporte en outre un espace de réception 22, défini par l'espace situé entre l'enroulement primaire 18 et l'enroulement secondaire 20. Le transformateur 10 comporte également une première couche 26 et une deuxième couche 28 d'un matériau isolant 30. - La première couche 26 est formée du matériau isolant 30 coulé à l'intérieur de l'espace de réception 22. Autrement dit, l'enroulement secondaire 20 est séparé de l'enroulement primaire par la première couche 26 de matériau isolant. Dans l'exemple de réalisation, la première couche 26 présente la forme d'un tore creux creux allongé d'épaisseur de préférence comprise entre 12 mm et 14 mm, par exemple sensiblement égale à 13 mm. L'enroulement secondaire 20 est avantageusement enroulé sur la surface extérieure de la première couche 26 de matériau isolant.
- Avantageusement, la deuxième couche 28 est formée du matériau isolant 30 coulé tout autour de l'enroulement secondaire 20. Autrement dit, la deuxième couche 28 de matériau isolant forme un enrobage propre à isoler électriquement l'enroulement secondaire 20 de l'extérieur du transformateur 10. Dans l'exemple de réalisation, la deuxième couche 28 présente la forme d'un tore creux allongé d'épaisseur de préférence sensiblement égale à 5 mm. Comme illustré sur la
figure 3 , le tore 28 définit en son centre un conduit cylindrique vide. - En variante de réalisation non représentée, une troisième couche de matériau isolant 30 est coulée à l'intérieur du conduit cylindrique défini par le tore 28.
- En variante de réalisation encore, non représentée, la disposition spatiale des enroulements primaire 18 et secondaire 20 est inversée. Plus concrètement, l'enroulement primaire 18 est enroulé autour de l'enroulement secondaire 20, lui-même enroulé autour du noyau magnétique 16. Selon cette variante de réalisation, la deuxième couche 28 de matériau isolant présente la forme d'un tore creux allongé d'épaisseur comprise entre 12 mm et 14 mm, par exemple sensiblement égale à 13 mm.
- Le matériau isolant 30 est formé d'un mélange solidifié comportant du silicone, sous la forme d'une résine, et des particules d'alumine. Le mélange solidifié 30 est obtenu à partir du mélange entre un premier composé liquide et un deuxième composé liquide, les deux composés liquides étant propre à réagir, dès leur mise en contact, selon un procédé de vulcanisation.. Le premier composé liquide comporte un premier réactif à base de silicium et les particules d'alumine. Le deuxième composé liquide comporte un deuxième réactif à base de silicium et un catalyseur, comportant par exemple du platine sous forme solide. Le mélange solidifié 30 présente une résistance à la traction par exemple égale à 2 N/mm2, un allongement à la rupture par exemple égal à 20 %, et une permittivité par exemple égale à 5. L'ensemble des particules d'alumine présente un volume de préférence sensiblement égal à 0,5 fois le volume du mélange liquide et une masse de préférence sensiblement égale à 0,8 fois la masse du mélange liquide. Chaque particule d'alumine présente un diamètre de préférence compris entre 10 µm et 100 µm. En variante, la résine de silicone est remplacée par tout élastomère à base de silicium.
- La
figure 3 est présentée pour permettre de mieux se rendre compte de l'apparence générale que prend le transformateur électrique 10 selon l'invention. Sur cette figure, l'enroulement secondaire 20 et la première couche 26 de matériau isolant sont représentés en traits pleins. La deuxième couche 28 de matériau isolant est représentée en traits mixtes. Le plan II correspond au plan de coupe selon lequel le transformateur électrique 10 est représenté dans lafigure 2 . Les connexions électriques du transformateur 10 ne sont pas représentées sur lafigure 3 . - Le fonctionnement du transformateur 10 va désormais être expliqué.
- Lorsqu'il est utilisé en environnement extérieur par exemple, le transformateur 10 subit des contraintes mécaniques fortes à l'interface entre le matériau isolant 30 et les enroulements primaire 18 et secondaire 20. Les propriétés élastiques du silicone confèrent au matériau isolant 30 une souplesse accrue de sorte que celui-ci ne se fissure pas sous l'effet de ces contraintes mécaniques.
- De plus, du fait de l'adjonction des particules d'alumine dans le matériau silicone, le matériau isolant 30 présente une conductivité thermique importante, notamment supérieure à 1 W.m-1.K-1. En outre, du fait de cette conductivité thermique importante du matériau isolant 30, les couches 26, 28 de matériau isolant permettent d'améliorer l'échange thermique entre le transformateur 10 et l'extérieur. Les couches 26, 28 de matériau isolant permettent également d'étaler les pertes thermiques de sorte à ne pas générer localement, sur la surface du transformateur 10, des points à très haute température.
- On conçoit ainsi que le transformateur électrique selon l'invention permet d'éviter l'apparition de fissures sur le matériau isolant et d'améliorer l'échange thermique avec l'environnement extérieur.
- La
figure 4 illustre un procédé de fabrication du transformateur électrique 10. - Lors d'une étape 40 initiale, un opérateur enroule l'enroulement primaire 18 autour du noyau magnétique 16.
- Au cours d'une étape 42 suivante, l'opérateur dispose un premier moule creux de forme torique autour de l'enroulement primaire 18. L'intérieur du premier moule creux définit l'espace de réception 22. L'opérateur coule ensuite les deux composés liquides à l'intérieur du premier moule creux, dans des proportions par exemple sensiblement égales.
- Au cours d'une étape 44 suivante, le mélange liquide durcit à température ambiante, à l'intérieur du premier moule creux, formant ainsi le mélange solidifié 30. La durée de cette étape de durcissement est par exemple de l'ordre de 48 heures. Une fois durci, le matériau isolant 30 forme la première couche 26 de matériau isolant. L'opérateur enlève alors le premier moule creux.
- Au cours d'une étape 46 suivante, l'opérateur enroule l'enroulement secondaire 20 autour de la première couche 26. Autrement dit, l'enroulement secondaire 20 est enroulé à la fois autour de la première couche 26 de matériau isolant et autour de l'enroulement primaire 18.
- Au cours d'une étape 48 suivante, l'opérateur dispose un deuxième moule creux de forme torique autour de l'enroulement secondaire 20. L'opérateur coule ensuite les deux composés liquides à l'intérieur du deuxième moule creux.
- Au cours d'une étape 50 suivante, le mélange liquide durcit à température ambiante, à l'intérieur du deuxième moule creux, formant ainsi le mélange solidifié 30. Une fois durci, le matériau isolant 30 forme la deuxième couche 28 de matériau isolant. La durée de cette étape de durcissement est par exemple de l'ordre de 48 heures. L'opérateur enlève alors le deuxième moule creux. Comme connu en soi, l'opérateur procède ensuite aux différentes connexions électriques, et le transformateur 10 est obtenu.
- Il est à noter qu'en variante une source de chaleur est mise à proximité des moules creux au cours des étapes 44, 50 de durcissement du mélange liquide, réduisant par là même la durée du durcissement.
- Ce procédé de fabrication selon l'invention présente l'avantage de simplifier les opérations de coulée et de moulage. En effet, les étapes 40 et 46 d'enroulement sont séparées par l'étape 42 de coulée, et la fabrication du transformateur électrique est ainsi réalisée par constitution de blocs concentriques successifs. Ce procédé permet également de s'affranchir de l'utilisation d'entretoises de soutien. De telles entretoises sont disposées pour soutenir l'enroulement secondaire, une fois celui-ci enroulé autour de l'enroulement primaire, lors de la fabrication de transformateurs électriques selon des procédés de fabrication de l'art antérieur. Or, lors de la mise en service de tels transformateurs, des phénomènes de cheminement de courant sont susceptibles d'apparaître à la surface de telles entretoises, entraînant ainsi une détérioration des capacités d'isolation diélectrique du matériau isolant.
- L'homme du métier comprendra que l'invention s'applique de la même manière à tout type de transformateur électrique comprenant un noyau magnétique, un enroulement primaire et un enroulement secondaire, par exemple un transformateur de distribution ou un transformateur de puissance, indépendamment de sa configuration géométrique et de ses caractéristiques électriques. En particulier, l'invention s'applique de la même manière à un transformateur électrique d'un courant alternatif polyphasé en un courant alternatif polyphasé.
Claims (13)
- Transformateur électrique (10), du type comportant :- un noyau magnétique (16),- un premier bobinage (18) enroulé autour du noyau magnétique (16) et recevant sur son entrée un courant alternatif d'entrée,- un deuxième bobinage (20) enroulé autour du noyau magnétique (16) et fournissant sur sa sortie un courant alternatif de sortie,- un espace de réception (22) défini entre les premier (18) et deuxième (20) bobinages,- un matériau isolant (30) coulé à l'intérieur de l'espace de réception (22) pour isoler électriquement le premier bobinage (18) du deuxième bobinage (20),caractérisé en ce que le matériau isolant (30) comporte un élastomère à base de silicium, renfermant une pluralité de particules d'alumine.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ledit élastomère à base de silicium est un silicone, se présentant sous la forme d'une résine.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la résine de silicone présente une résistance à la traction de préférence comprise entre 0,5 N/mm2 et 5 N/mm2, de préférence sensiblement égale à 2 N/mm2.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que la pluralité de particules d'alumine présente une fraction volumique de matériau isolant de préférence comprise entre 0,3 et 0,7, de préférence sensiblement égale à 0,5 et une fraction massique de matériau isolant de préférence comprise entre 0,5 et 0,9, de préférence sensiblement égale à 0,8.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que chaque particule d'alumine présente un diamètre de préférence compris entre 10 µm et 100 µm.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le noyau magnétique (16) est de forme torique.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la tension du courant alternatif d'entrée dans le premier bobinage (18) est de préférence sensiblement égale à 25 kV.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que la tension du courant alternatif de sortie du deuxième bobinage (20) est de préférence comprise entre 3 kV et 5 kV, de préférence égale à 3,6 kV.
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le deuxième bobinage (20) est enroulé autour du matériau isolant (30) et du premier bobinage (18).
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon la revendication 9, caractérisé en ce que le matériau isolant (30) est également coulé autour du deuxième bobinage (20), formant une couche (28) d'enrobage propre à isoler électriquement le deuxième bobinage (20) de l'extérieur du transformateur (10).
- Transformateur électrique (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le transformateur (10) est un transformateur de traction d'un véhicule ferroviaire.
- Procédé de fabrication d'un transformateur électrique (10) selon une des revendications 1 à 11,
le procédé comprenant une étape (40) d'enroulement du premier bobinage (18) autour du noyau magnétique (16) et une étape (42) de coulée du matériau isolant (30) à l'intérieur de l'espace de réception (22) pour isoler électriquement le premier bobinage (18) du deuxième bobinage (20), et les étapes suivantes :- le durcissement (44) du matériau isolant (30) à l'intérieur de l'espace de réception (22), et- l'enroulement (46) du deuxième bobinage (20) autour du matériau isolant (30) et du premier bobinage (18). - Procédé selon la revendication 12, où il comprend, en outre, les étapes suivantes :- la coulée (48) du matériau isolant (30) autour du deuxième bobinage (20), et- le durcissement (50) du matériau isolant (30) autour du deuxième bobinage (20), le matériau isolant (30) durci autour du deuxième bobinage (20) formant ainsi une couche (28) d'enrobage propre à isoler électriquement le deuxième bobinage (20) de l'extérieur du transformateur (10).
