- This preferred secondary module may have a smart-phone docking station via which the primary module 110 may communicate with the phone for use of the phone as one or more of: a controller; a display of sensed parameters; a communications device; means for downloading data stored on a memory of the valve 300; and/or a source of electrical power.

Claims (15)
- Ventil (100) für einen Zylinder (5), umfassend:einen oberen Gehäuseabschnitt (10) mit einem Anschluss (11) zur Befestigung an externen Rohrleitungen oder Schläuchen;einen unteren Gehäuseabschnitt (20), der sich von einer Verbindungsstelle (19) mit dem oberen Gehäuseabschnitt (10) erstreckt und einen Ventileinlass (21) zum Kommunizieren mit dem Inneren eines Zylinders (5) aufweist, wenn das Ventil (100) darauf installiert ist;einen Strömungsweg, der von dem Anschluss (11) zu dem Ventileinlass (21) verläuft;ein vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachtes Ventilelement (22), um einen Fluidstrom entlang des Strömungswegs zu ermöglichen oder zu verhindern;elektrische Betätigungsmittel (23) zum Betätigen des Ventilelements (22), wobei die Betätigungsmittel (23) vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebracht sind,Zylindereingriffsmittel (15, 25) neben der Verbindungsstelle (19) zum abdichtenden Eingriff mit einem Zylinder (5),dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ventil (100) ferner umfasst:einen vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachten Ladungsspeicher (24a);einen vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachten drahtlosen Empfänger (24b), wobei das elektrische Betätigungsmittel (23) durch den Ladungsspeicher (24a) und den drahtlosen Empfänger (24b) angesteuert wird.
- Ventil (100) nach Anspruch 1, wobei es sich bei dem Zylindereingriffsmittel (15, 25) um eine im Allgemeinen zylindrische Oberfläche des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) mit einem daran ausgebildeten Außengewinde zum Eingriff mit einem in dem Hals eines Zylinders (5) ausgebildeten Innengewinde handelt.
- Ventil (100) nach Anspruch 1, wobei:es sich bei dem Zylindereingriffsmittel (15, 25) um einen Flansch (18) handelt, der von dem oberen Gehäuseabschnitt (10) an die Verbindungsstelle (19) angrenzend nach außen verläuft;wobei der Flansch (18) ein von ihm ausgehendes ringförmiges Element aufweist; undan dem ringförmigen Element ein Innengewinde zum Eingriff mit einem an dem Hals eines Zylinders (5) ausgebildeten Außengewinde ausgebildet ist.
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, ferner umfassend einen vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachten drahtlosen Sender (24c).
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, ferner umfassend einen Sensor (24g), der vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebracht ist, wobei es sich bei dem Sensor (24g) vorzugsweise um einen oder mehrere der folgenden Sensoren handelt: einen Strömungssensor; einen Temperatursensor; einen Drucksensor; einen Beschleunigungsmesser; einen Feuchtigkeitssensor; einen Nässesensor.
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, ferner umfassend einen vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachten Prozessor (24f).
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, ferner umfassend eine vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachte Zylinderspule (24d).
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, ferner umfassend einen vollständig innerhalb des unteren Gehäuseabschnitts (20) untergebrachten Regler (24e).
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei das Ventilelement (22) betätigt werden kann, um eine Fluidströmungsrate entlang des Strömungswegs zu steuern.
- Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei der obere Gehäuseabschnitt (10) und der untere Gehäuseabschnitt (20) ein primäres Modul (110) bilden und das Ventil (100) ferner ein oder mehrere sekundäre Module (120, 125, 130) umfasst, die lösbar mit dem primären Modul (110) verbunden sind, wobei das sekundäre Modul bzw. jedes sekundäre Modul (120, 125, 130) mindestens eines aus Folgendem umfasst: eine Anzeige; einen Speicher; einen drahtlosen Sender; einen drahtlosen Empfänger; einen Sensor; einen Prozessor; einen Ladungsspeicher; einen RFID-Chip; einen NFC-Chip; einen Strömungsmesser; einen Strömungssensor; einen GPS-Empfänger; ein Telefondock, das zur physischen Verbindung mit einem Smartphone angeordnet ist; eine Batterie; ein ZigBee-Modul; einen Datenkabel-Verbindungsanschluss; einen Energieübertragungsanschluss; einen induktiven Ladeempfänger und/oder eine Gas/Fluid-Schnittstellenverbindung.
- Ventil (100) nach Anspruch 10, wobei:das primäre Modul (110) eine Vielzahl von beabstandeten Aussparungen, Schlitzen oder Löchern umfasst; unddas sekundäre Modul bzw. jedes sekundäre Modul (120, 125, 130) eine oder mehrere Rasten zum Eingreifen in eine Aussparung, einen Schlitz oder ein Loch umfasst.
- Ventil (100) nach Anspruch 10, wobei:das sekundäre Modul bzw. jedes sekundäre Modul (120, 125, 130) eine Vielzahl von beabstandeten Aussparungen, Schlitzen oder Löchern umfasst; unddas primäre Modul (110) eine oder mehrere Rasten zum Eingreifen in eine Aussparung, einen Schlitz oder ein Loch umfasst.
- Ventil (100) nach Anspruch 10, wobei:das primäre Modul (110) eine Aussparung (312) und eine Abdeckung (314) zum Bereitstellen oder Verhindern eines Zugriffs auf die Aussparung (312) umfasst;wobei die Aussparung (312) eine Vielzahl von Erweiterungsschlitzen (316) umschließt; unddas sekundäre Modul bzw. jedes sekundäre Modul (120, 125, 130) so angeordnet ist bzw. sind, dass sie mit einem oder mehreren Erweiterungsschlitzen (316) in Eingriff stehen.
- Ventil (100) nach Anspruch 10, wobei:ein erstes sekundäres Modul bzw. erste sekundäre Module (120) lösbar mit dem primären Modul (110) verbunden ist bzw. sind; undein zweites sekundäres Modul bzw. zweite sekundäre Module (125) lösbar mit dem ersten sekundären Modul (120) verbunden ist bzw. sind.
- Zylinderanordnung, umfassend einen Zylinderkörper und das Ventil (100) nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei:der Zylinderkörper eine darin ausgebildete Öffnung zum Aufnehmen des Ventils (100) aufweist;der Zylinderkörper einen Außendurchmesser aufweist; undder Durchmesser der Öffnung mindestens 40 % des Außendurchmessers beträgt.
