Description

The invention relates to a system for transporting and storing medicines or other goods in specified temperature ranges, having the features of the preamble of claim 1.

For the transport and storage of medicines, the temperature range of 15°C to 25°C is prescribed for most medicines, namely the temperature range of the so-called Controlled Room Temperature (CRT), which is also specified in the so-called "Good Distribution Practice". Medicines that require a cold chain are transported and stored at 2° to 8° C.

It is known to carry out the transport and storage of medicines in air-conditioned vehicles or insulating containers with at least one temperature control element. From the utility model DE 20 2006 017 869 U an insulating container is known which is formed from a heat-insulating cover and a heat-insulating receiving part which enclose an interior which is provided with at least one tempering element to maintain temperatures.

From the document DE 10 2008 032 531 A1 it is known, for use as a temperature stabilizer in insulating packaging, to provide a temperature control element with a hollow body that is filled with a first fluid that has a melting point in a first temperature interval. At least one other fluid, which has a melting point in a second temperature interval that differs from the first, is contained in the hollow body, with the first fluid and preferably the at least one further fluid form segregated phases or are separated into two chambers of the hollow body. The disadvantage of this prior art is that the insulating box and elements, gel packs or other items with a high heat capacity have to be handled separately. This increases the effort in logistics.

From the document DE 100 30 102 A1 is a system for transporting goods at constant temperatures, in particular for transporting blood and medical products, with a storage, protection and transport container made of two cells for perishable products. The two cells are each provided with a double wall, which is filled on the inside with a liquid or solid latent heat accumulator and at the same time has an insulating effect, with the transport container being designed in such a way that two of the same cells can be connected via preferably several snaps on the long sides.

The document DE 695 12 750 T2 discloses an insulated storage/transport container with a lid, each with a double wall, which is filled internally with a liquid or solid latent heat accumulator to maintain a constant temperature.

US 3 205 677 A offenbart ferner einen verschachtelbaren Behälter für die Abkühlung von Gläsern, mit einer Konizität von 10° bis 30°.A system according to the preamble of claim 1 is off FR1 161 997 A known. U.S. 3,205,677 A further discloses a nestable container for cooling glasses having a taper of 10° to 30°.

This state of the art can still be improved in terms of insulation and effort in logistics.

The object of the invention is to create a system for the transport and storage of medicines or other goods in predetermined temperature ranges, with which the disadvantages of the prior art are overcome.

This problem is solved with a system for the transport and storage of medicines or other goods in predetermined temperature ranges with the features of claim 1 of the invention. Advantageous developments of the invention are presented in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, a system for the transport and storage of medicines or other goods in predetermined temperature ranges is provided with at least one container with an interior space open on one side in a lower part surrounded by walls and with a lid that fits the opening of the container, the structure of the walls of the container and of the lid in each case results in at least one hollow body which is filled with at least one material or fluid with a high heat or cold storage capacity. The walls result in a trough-shaped lower part, each with a greater length and width on an open side facing the lid than on a closed bottom on the side facing away from the lid, in order to ensure "nesting" and thus a volume reduction of stacked containers for space-saving storage and transporting the containers when the interiors of the bases are empty, depending on the angles caused by the greater length and width on the open side than on the closed bottom, which in turn correlate with the thickness of the wall of the bases, a space saving of between 30 and 90% can be achieved compared to conventional cuboid insulated containers. According to a further advantage of the invention, the drugs or other goods that are to be transported or stored at temperatures that are as constant as possible in predetermined temperature ranges can be transported and/or stored in the interior of the lower part. The system of the present invention enables the Transport for CRT with a container consisting of a lid and base without separate pre-temperature control of the system for a specific summer or winter scenario, as long as transport and storage can take place in the range of 20 to 22°C.

According to the invention, the greater lengths and widths on the open top side facing the lid than on the closed bottom side facing away from the lid result in conicities between 8° and 16°, preferably about 12°, for the walls of the lower part. According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, a fluid with a high heat or cold storage capacity that is filled into the at least one hollow body is additionally packed in plastic sleeves made of polyethylene or polyethylene film to prevent mixing with another fluid with a high heat or cold storage capacity in this hollow body.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one separate outer container made of cover and receiving part is provided with a space adapted to the container with the lid for receiving the container with the lid. This preferred embodiment of the invention enables protected and heat-insulated transport and storage at CRT of a container made of lid and base in the space of the separate outer container from which the container can be removed.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the walls of the lower part have a stable outer wall, for example made of polypropylene (PP), insulating material, for example polyurethane (PU) with vacuum panels and an inner wall, e.g. B. from PP.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one material or fluid with a high heat storage capacity is in contact with the inner wall of the lower part, the at least one material or fluid having its phase change from solid to liquid or liquid to solid close to the specified temperature range.

According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the at least one material or fluid contains paraffins, paraffin mixtures or saturated n-hydrocarbon of the empirical formula C n H 2n+2 with a phase change between 17 and 20° C. and/or salt hydrates with a phase change between 22 and 25°C.

  • 1a, 2a : A system 24 for the transport and storage of drugs in predetermined temperature ranges is provided with a container 2 with an interior 3 in a lower part 5 surrounded by walls 4 and with a lid 6 lying on the lower part 5 in such a way that the inner space 3 of the Lower part 5 is closed to the outside. The double-walled lower part 5 and the cover 6 each have a substantially rectangular outline. Medicines or other goods can be transported and stored in the interior 3 in predetermined temperature ranges, such as CRT.

From the outside to the inside, the walls 4 of the lower part 5 have a stable outer wall 7 made of polystyrene, polyethylene (PSPE) or PP, insulation material 8 made of PU with vacuum panels and an inner wall 9 made of PP that delimits the interior space 3 . The lid 6 of the container 2 has a stable outer wall 7 made of PSPE or PP and is provided with insulating material made from vacuum panels. Both the cover 6 and the lower part 5 are manufactured as a thermoforming or injection-molded part.

The walls 4 of the lower part 5 and the structure of the lid 6 each result in hollow bodies which are filled towards the inner wall 9 with a salt hydrate and a paraffin as a material or fluid (not shown) with a high heat storage capacity in order to keep the temperature in the interior 3 in the range to stabilize between 20° and 22° C. Different fluids with a high heat storage capacity are packed in plastic sleeves made of polyethylene or in polyethylene film (not shown) to avoid mixing in this hollow body. For example, two different paraffins or two different salt hydrates are each packed separately in one of two plastic casings.

Dicken der Wandungen 4 variieren zwischen 5 bis 30 mm.The walls 4 result in a conical, trough-shaped base 5 from top to bottom, each with greater length and width on an open top side facing the lid 6 than on a closed bottom on the bottom side facing away from the lid 6, the transitions from the open Side to the closed bottom are each substantially linear to "nesting ability" or "nestability" and thus a volume reduction of stacked containers 2 to ensure space-saving storage and transport of the stacked containers 2 when interiors 3 of the bases 5 are empty. The conicity of the trough-shaped lower part 5 depends on the respective thickness of the walls 4 so that it can be nested. Thicknesses of the walls 4 vary between 5 to 30 mm.

The lower part 5 has handles or recessed grips for carrying (not shown). The lid 6 of the container 2 is attached to the lower part 5 with hinges (not shown) or the lower part 5 and lid 6 are tightly connected to one another by gluing or welding, so that no fluid can escape from the interior 3 . The cover 6 can be sealed to the base 5 .
