Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Befestigung/Stabilisierung einer Firstlatte (1), mit an zwei in einem von der Dachneigung vorgegebenen Winkel zueinander stehenden Befestigungsflächen einer Dachunterkonstruktion (6, 6', 16) befestigbare, um eine parallel zur Firstlattenerstreckungsrichtung sich erstreckende Achse scharnierartig miteinander verbundenen Befestigungslappen (4, 4'). Um eine derartige Vorrichtung, bei der die Firstlatte als Laufschiene ausgebildet ist, gebrauchsvorteilhaft weiterzubilden, ist ein von zwei an den Befestigungslappen (4, 4') gelenkig befestigten Stützschenkeln (7, 7') getragenes Stabilisierungselement (9) zum stützenden Angriff an einem die Firstlatte tragenden Tragelement (3) in einer Richtung quer zur Firstlattenerstreckung vorgesehen. Mit der erfindungsgemäß weitergebildeten Vorrichtung ist es somit möglich, eine Firstlatte zu stabilisieren, die als "Safety-Schiene" versteckt unter der Firstpfanne angeordnet ist. Es ist ferner möglich, ohne die Hilfe von Klemmmitteln oder dergleichen die Vorrichtung an die jeweilige Dachneigung anzupassen und ein Tragelement zu stabilisieren bzw. befestigen, welches in bekannter Weise eine Firstlatte trägt, wobei es von Vorteil ist, wenn die Firstlatte die oben erwähnten Laufschienen aufweist. Das Stabilisierungselement kann eine Durchstecköffnung aufweisen, durch die das Tragelement hindurchgeführt ist. Die Durchstecköffnung kann einen kreisrunden Querschnitt aufweisen. Die Durchtrittsöffnung kann eine glattwandige Innenoberfläche aufweisen, so dass sie lediglich berührend an dem Tragelement anliegt. Als Tragelement kann eine Stockschraube verwendet werden, die mit einem ersten Gewinde in die Dachunterkonstruktion, beispielsweise in die Firstpfette eingeschraubt wird. Das Stabilisierungselement kann als Traverse ausgebildet sein. Bei einem symmetrischen Steildach erstreckt sich die Traverse im montierten Zustand in einer Horizontalebene. An den beiden Enden der Traverse sind Anlenkstellen vorgesehen, an denen die Stützschenkel angelenkt sind. Die Stützschenkel werden bevorzugt von Lenkern ausgebildet, die mit ihren freien Enden jeweils entweder am Stabilisierungselement oder an einem der Befestigungslappen befestigt sind. Die Befestigungslappen sind mittels eines Scharniers miteinander verbunden, wobei das Scharnier einen mehrere Scharnieraugen durchgreifenden Scharnierbolzen aufweist. Bevorzugt weist das Scharnier zwei miteinander fluchtende Scharnierbolzen auf, so dass sich im Scharnierbereich ein Fenster ausbildet, durch das das Tragelement hindurchragen kann, wenn es in der Öffnung des Stabilisierungselementes steckt. Die Scharnieraugen greifen klavierbandartig ineinander. Bevorzugt nehmen die beiden Lenker in sämtlichen Schwenkstellungen der Befestigungslappen eine V-Stellung zueinander ein, wobei der V-Scheitel nach oben weist.
