Definitions
- the invention relates to a household appliance and a method for operating a household appliance.
- the publication DE 10 2009 025 038 A1 describes a cooking fume inlet device with a removable lid-shaped closing device.
- the pamphlets DE 10 2012 207 850 A1 and US 2006/0278215 A1 show cooking fume entry devices with adjustable closing devices.
- the object of the invention is to provide an improved household appliance and an improved method for operating a household appliance.
- this object is achieved by a household appliance and a method for
- the invention offers the advantage that, by means of a suitable detection device and a suitable control device, a household appliance can be controlled automatically as a function of a position of a cover for covering a recess for removing vapors in a worktop of the household appliance. As a result, the ease of use of the household appliance can be increased.
- the household appliance can at least one hob, such as a gas, induction or Electro hob, wherein the hob can be integrated into the worktop.
- the household appliance can be designed without a hob.
- a worktop can be understood to mean a worktop, as can also be used for preparing food or placing cookware.
- a recess can be understood as a continuous opening in the worktop.
- the recess can be part of a fume cupboard and, for example, can be arranged adjacent to the hob.
- the extraction device can comprise, for example, a fan for generating an air flow, through which air can be drawn into the recess.
- the recess can be connected to the extraction device via a channel.
- the lid can be designed to be placed on a narrow or long side on a section of the worktop located between the hob and the recess.
- At least one cover magnet element is arranged in the lid and / or at least one worktop magnet element is arranged under the worktop. These enable the lid to be magnetically fixed to the worktop when it is set up on the worktop.
- the detection device for detecting the position of the cover is preferably arranged in the region of the recess such that the closed cover and the partially opened cover can be detected. This makes it possible to switch on the trough fan only when the degree of opening has exceeded a minimum. This prevents an inflow of air from making it difficult to remove the cover.
- a partially opened lid forms an angle with the worktop in the range from 0 degrees to 25 degrees, preferably an angle in the range from 0 degrees to 12 degrees.
- the detection device is designed, arranged and aligned in such a way that the removal of the cover from the recess can be distinguished from partial opening.
- the partial opening can take place with or without the support of a lifting device.
- the household appliance comprises at least one hob for heating cookware.
- the cooktop is arranged adjacent to the recess.
- a hob can be understood as a gas, induction or electric hob.
- a heating device of the hob can be integrated in the worktop or covered by the worktop.
- the lid can be placed on the worktop between the recess and the hob. This allows the The lid acts as a partition between the hob and recess. If the cooktop is a gas cooktop, this can prevent the gas flame from being drawn into the recess.
- the control device is designed to deactivate the hob when the lid is not positioned between the recess and the hob, or to activate the hob when the lid is positioned between the recess and the hob. This allows the hob to be switched on or off automatically.
- the household appliance can be switched depending on the handling of the cover realized by the cover.
- the magnet can be electronically switched and the household appliance can be controlled via it.
- device activity may not be possible if the cover is not placed next to a gas hob when in use. Or it can be switched on automatically as soon as the lid is up.
- the detection device is preferably arranged between the recess and a heating device of a hob, in particular a gas burner.
- the detection device is aligned with an area above the worktop.
- the lid can be placed in this area between the recess and the heating device. This makes it possible for the control unit to detect the presence of the lid above the worktop and to control the household appliance as a function thereof. For example, when the lid is placed between the recess and a heating device, it is possible to switch on the household appliance, for example a bowl fan and / or a heating device.
- switching on and switching off means opening or closing a valve, in particular a safety valve, in the gas supply line. This ensures particularly safe operation, since the use of a tray fan is only possible if the cover is properly positioned.
- the household appliance can have a lifting device for lifting the cover out of the recess.
- the control unit can be designed to control the lifting device as a function of the position or touch or an operating state of the household appliance. This allows the lid to be raised automatically.
- the detection device can be integrated into the worktop or the lid. This enables the position of the cover to be reliably detected.
- the detection device can be implemented as an optical, capacitive, inductive, piezoelectric or magnetic sensor. This enables the position to be recorded precisely.
- the approach described here also creates a method for operating a household appliance according to one of the above embodiments, the method comprising the following steps: Reading in a position signal representing the position of the cover; and
- This method can be implemented, for example, in software or hardware or in a mixed form of software and hardware, for example in a control unit.

Operation of a household appliance with the features of the main claims solved. Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the following subclaims.
The invention offers the advantage that, by means of a suitable detection device and a suitable control device, a household appliance can be controlled automatically as a function of a position of a cover for covering a recess for removing vapors in a worktop of the household appliance. As a result, the ease of use of the household appliance can be increased.
- einer Arbeitsplatte mit zumindest einer Ausnehmung zum Abführen von Wrasen;
- a worktop with at least one recess for removing vapors;
- at least one cover to cover the recess; and
- a detection device for detecting a position of the cover and
- a control device for controlling the household appliance as a function of the position detected by the detection device,
- A household appliance can be understood to mean, for example, a stove or part of a stove or a device which can be arranged adjacent to a stove or a hob.
The household appliance can at least one hob, such as a gas, induction or Electro hob, wherein the hob can be integrated into the worktop. Alternatively, the household appliance can be designed without a hob.
A worktop can be understood to mean a worktop, as can also be used for preparing food or placing cookware. A recess can be understood as a continuous opening in the worktop. The recess can be part of a fume cupboard and, for example, can be arranged adjacent to the hob. The extraction device can comprise, for example, a fan for generating an air flow, through which air can be drawn into the recess.
The recess can be connected to the extraction device via a channel. For example, the lid can be designed to be placed on a narrow or long side on a section of the worktop located between the hob and the recess.
At least one cover magnet element is arranged in the lid and / or at least one worktop magnet element is arranged under the worktop. These enable the lid to be magnetically fixed to the worktop when it is set up on the worktop.
The detection device for detecting the position of the cover is preferably arranged in the region of the recess such that the closed cover and the partially opened cover can be detected. This makes it possible to switch on the trough fan only when the degree of opening has exceeded a minimum. This prevents an inflow of air from making it difficult to remove the cover.
A partially opened lid forms an angle with the worktop in the range from 0 degrees to 25 degrees, preferably an angle in the range from 0 degrees to 12 degrees.
The detection device is designed, arranged and aligned in such a way that the removal of the cover from the recess can be distinguished from partial opening. The partial opening can take place with or without the support of a lifting device.
According to the invention, the household appliance comprises at least one hob for heating cookware. The cooktop is arranged adjacent to the recess. A hob can be understood as a gas, induction or electric hob. A heating device of the hob can be integrated in the worktop or covered by the worktop. The lid can be placed on the worktop between the recess and the hob. This allows the The lid acts as a partition between the hob and recess. If the cooktop is a gas cooktop, this can prevent the gas flame from being drawn into the recess.
The control device is designed to deactivate the hob when the lid is not positioned between the recess and the hob, or to activate the hob when the lid is positioned between the recess and the hob. This allows the hob to be switched on or off automatically. Thus, the household appliance can be switched depending on the handling of the cover realized by the cover. For example, the magnet can be electronically switched and the household appliance can be controlled via it. For example, device activity may not be possible if the cover is not placed next to a gas hob when in use. Or it can be switched on automatically as soon as the lid is up.
The detection device is preferably arranged between the recess and a heating device of a hob, in particular a gas burner. The detection device is aligned with an area above the worktop. The lid can be placed in this area between the recess and the heating device. This makes it possible for the control unit to detect the presence of the lid above the worktop and to control the household appliance as a function thereof. For example, when the lid is placed between the recess and a heating device, it is possible to switch on the household appliance, for example a bowl fan and / or a heating device.
It is also possible to remove the cover from the area between the recess and a heating device to switch off the household appliance, for example a bowl fan and / or a heating device.
In relation to a heating device designed as a gas burner, switching on and switching off means opening or closing a valve, in particular a safety valve, in the gas supply line. This ensures particularly safe operation, since the use of a tray fan is only possible if the cover is properly positioned. According to a further embodiment, the household appliance can have a lifting device for lifting the cover out of the recess. The control unit can be designed to control the lifting device as a function of the position or touch or an operating state of the household appliance. This allows the lid to be raised automatically.
In addition, the detection device can be integrated into the worktop or the lid. This enables the position of the cover to be reliably detected.
Depending on the embodiment, the detection device can be implemented as an optical, capacitive, inductive, piezoelectric or magnetic sensor. This enables the position to be recorded precisely.
Einlesen eines die Position des Deckels repräsentierenden Positionssignals; undThe approach described here also creates a method for operating a household appliance according to one of the above embodiments, the method comprising the following steps:
Reading in a position signal representing the position of the cover; and
Generating a drive signal for driving the household appliance using the position signal.
This method can be implemented, for example, in software or hardware or in a mixed form of software and hardware, for example in a control unit.

The two
The
In
A trough fan of the
In this case, the
The
The
By simply pushing sideways with a finger or another opening mechanism, such as a push-pull mechanism, or by magnetic force, the in this example L-shaped
For example, the
In the case of a combination of the bowl fan and a gas appliance, the
As a further alternative, the
Such a tray fan offers the advantage of a simple magnetic mechanism, a defined lid position, simple cleaning, convenient handling, i. H. ergonomic operation, high-quality, homogeneous optics and relatively inexpensive production.
In the case of covers for trough fans that can be handled manually, odorous substances can escape upwards through a cooking vapor inlet opening. This can be avoided by making the
According to one exemplary embodiment, the
The cooking
A closed cover that is as flat as possible and, for example, completely surrounded by a frame, such as the
For this purpose, according to one exemplary embodiment, the
The displacement of the
According to this exemplary embodiment, the
The mechanical support by means of the
The
The
Depending on the embodiment, the four control elements are realized as expansion elements or electromagnetic actuators. Such an expansion element can comprise, for example, a plunger and a wax melting element. By simultaneously actuating the four control elements, the cover can be raised evenly when it rests on the
Alternatively, the
Depending on the exemplary embodiment, the
