Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an underfloor collection system according to the preamble of claim 1, in particular for receiving a waste or valuable material container.
  • underfloor collection systems are increasingly being used, especially in large cities, primarily for collecting waste and recyclable materials.
  • most of the collecting containers are sunk in a shaft provided for this purpose below the street or sidewalk level. Only an upper sub-area of the container with a smaller area and one or more insertion openings protrudes above the floor level.
  • each of the two base plate wings has two locking mechanisms that work independently of one another. If a locking mechanism is unintentionally unlocked, e.g. by a pedestrian or cyclist, then the other person has to bear the load of the floor slab wing and the unintentional trigger, e.g. the pedestrian or the cyclist, in a disadvantageous way, so that the floor slab wing does not open.
  • a locking mechanism is unintentionally unlocked, e.g. by a pedestrian or cyclist, then the other person has to bear the load of the floor slab wing and the unintentional trigger, e.g. the pedestrian or the cyclist, in a disadvantageous way, so that the floor slab wing does not open.
  • Another disadvantage is that the suspensions (hinges, swivel joints) of the wings have to be designed for even a low tensile load (upwards) and an even greater pressure load (downwards).
  • an improved securing mechanism for an underfloor collection system is desirable in order to minimize the expenditure for the emptying process and the material expenditure necessary to prevent the base plate wings from being opened unintentionally.
  • an underfloor collection system with a shaft for receiving a removable collecting container and at least one securing mechanism for locking the base plate.
  • the collecting container can, for example, be a waste or recyclable material container. Anything is conceivable Type of public or private collection container that can be partially submerged in a shaft.
  • a base plate is provided to secure the shaft, which is pivotably mounted on at least one shaft wall and can be brought into an almost horizontal position for closing the shaft opening after the container has been removed.
  • the base plate can be accessible for pedestrians and cyclists. To open the shaft, the base plate can be pivoted down into the shaft.
  • the at least one securing mechanism enables automatic locking and / or unlocking of the base plate in the locked position.
  • the securing mechanism ensures that the base plate is automatically locked in the closed position immediately after the container has been removed and an opening pivoting movement is blocked. Automatic unlocking is carried out, for example, when the container is returned to the base plate or into the shaft. Manual actuation of the safety mechanism of the base plate is completely unnecessary.
  • the base plate can preferably also be operated fully automatically, i.e. it automatically swivels into the closed position during the removal of the container and is automatically opened and swiveled down into the shaft when the container is subjected to a corresponding load. In addition to the resulting time savings, there is also a gain in safety, since human errors are avoided due to the automation.
  • the safety mechanism is designed in such a way that it is unlocked especially when the base plate is loaded by the appropriate collecting container. This prevents unintentional unlocking, for example when the floor slab is stressed by pedestrians or cyclists.
  • the base plate is pivotably mounted on a shaft wall.
  • the base plate is designed to be rectangular or square, with one edge being supported by corresponding pivot joints on the shaft, in particular the shaft wall, and the opposite edge being freely pivotable.
  • One or more pressure or pulling means are preferably provided which urge the unloaded base plate into the closed position.
  • One or more gas springs are suitable as pressure or traction means, which are connected on the one hand to the base plate on the other hand to the shaft wall or the shaft bottom.
  • the base plate can comprise at least one stop for the collecting container to be received.
  • this stop serves to catch the collecting container standing and / or sliding on the base plate during the pivoting opening movement of the base plate, so that an uncontrolled slipping of the container in the direction of the shaft bottom is avoided.
  • This allows the collecting container to be lowered into the shaft together with the pivoted base plate in a controlled manner.
  • the arrangement of the stop at the freely pivotable end of the base plate is particularly preferred.
  • the arrangement of several stops distributed along the freely pivotable edge is conceivable, but a stop that extends over the entire side edge is preferred.
  • the securing mechanism for locking the base plate comprises at least two locking arms which are pivotably arranged on the base plate and whose freely pivotable ends can be pivoted into a locking receptacle arranged on the shaft side.
  • a pivoting movement of the base plate is blocked due to the locked locking arms.
  • a pivoting movement of the base plate is only possible again after the locking arms have been released from the locking receptacle.
  • the locking arms are mounted distributed on the freely pivotable side edge of the base plate, particularly preferably in the area of the corner edges.
  • a special profile is formed on the end of each locking arm which, in the locked state, engages with an exact fit in a locking receptacle complementary thereto.
  • a square tube is preferably used as a suitable profile shape.
  • a profile, in particular a square tube, extending over the entire width of the base plate is provided on each locking arm is mounted at the end. The unlocking can therefore only be achieved by a synchronous pivoting of the at least two securing arms.
  • a pressure transducer mounted on the base plate serves to actuate a locking arm, which transmits the weight force exerted by a collecting container placed on the base plate to the associated locking arm.
  • the pressure transducer is preferably mounted on the base plate so as to be linearly displaceable, with the effect of force causing the pressure transducer to be displaced linearly downwards, perpendicular to the closed base plate. This linear movement acts directly or indirectly on the associated locking arm, so that it is pivoted accordingly.
  • the pressure transducer is particularly advantageous to design as a link that is linearly displaceable perpendicular to the base plate.
  • a link can be guided with respect to the base plate, for example, via an elongated hole in the link, by means of which it is screwed, riveted or bolted to the base plate or to a console attached to the base plate.
  • the link can be connected to the locking arm via a further elongated hole, by means of which the link is screwed, bolted or riveted to the locking arm.
  • the long sides of the last-mentioned elongated hole however, extend almost horizontally, i.e. perpendicular to the long sides of the first elongated hole for connecting the link with the base plate.
  • the orientation of the two elongated holes allows the transformation of the linear weight force into the circular movement of the locking arm.
  • one or more pressure and / or tension means can be arranged on the locking arm, which counteract the force of the pressure transducer or the link acting on the locking arm.
  • the locking arm is consequently pulled or pushed into the locking position without the action of force by means of a corresponding pulling or pushing means; complete removal of the container from the base plate thus leads to automatic locking.
  • the pressure sensors are arranged on the base plate at a defined distance from one another. In a particularly preferred embodiment, this distance is based on the width of the collecting container to be accommodated; the associated distance between the two pressure transducers prevents them from being operated simultaneously by pedestrians, cyclists, etc. under regular circumstances.
  • the interaction of the pressure or pulling means that press the locking arms into the locking position, as well as the defined spacing of the at least two pressure transducers effectively prevents unintentional unlocking of the platform; the base plate can be secured against a point load of approx. 300 kg or more.
  • the free end of the base plate is inclined slightly upwards in the closed position.
  • bearing points are provided for the storage and / or guidance of the pivotable base plate and / or the collecting container to be drained in the shaft on the wall and / or bottom side. Since, when the collecting container is returned to the shaft, the base plate is pivoted into the shaft together with the collected collecting container, it slides along the base plate during the pivoting movement of the base plate. As a result, it can happen that the collecting container partially comes into contact with the shaft wall or with the shaft bottom during the downward pivoting movement of the base plate. Individual bearing rollers are used to intercept and guide the container. A lower bearing point on the shaft floor accommodates the inclined base plate and / or the inclined container.
  • one embodiment also relates to a safety device for such an underfloor collection system.
  • the securing device comprises the previously described base plate and the securing mechanism for locking and unlocking the base plate.
  • the construction of the base plate and safety mechanism can be installed within a shaft of an underfloor collection system.
  • the advantages and properties of this safety device obviously correspond to those of the previously described underfloor collection system. For this reason, a repetitive description is dispensed with.
  • the Figures 1a to 1c show a side view of the underfloor collection system according to the invention.
  • the underfloor collection system 1 consists of a concrete shaft 10, the top side of which has a sufficiently large opening to accommodate a collecting container 2.
  • the collecting container 2 is a known waste container with a throw-in opening 4 and a cover 3 which completely surrounds the collecting container 2.
  • the cover 3 runs obliquely to the bottom surface of the collecting container 2, since the collecting container 2 is mounted obliquely within the shaft 10. As a result, the cover 3 can be flush with the shaft opening. You can see this for example in the Figure 1c which shows the normal position of the collecting container 2 within the shaft 10.
  • the securing device for covering the shaft 10 when the collecting container 2 has been removed comprises a base plate 11 which is pivotably mounted on the side wall of the shaft 10 via the swivel joint 12.
  • the base plate 11 is rectangular with the long sides 11b and the broad sides 11a, 11a '.
  • two gas springs 13a, 13b engage the underside of the base plate 11.
  • the gas springs 13a, 13b are supported at the end on the left side wall of the shaft 10 and also cross in the course from the shaft wall to the base plate 11.
  • the gas springs 13a, 13b are designed so that they move the unloaded base plate 11 upwards to close the shaft opening to press.
  • Securing mechanisms 20 are provided at the freely pivotable end 11a 'of the base plate 11, which keep the base plate 11 in the closed position ( Figure 1a ) lock against the shaft 10 and thus prevent unintentional opening or downward pivoting of the base plate 11. Furthermore, in the representations Figures 1a to 1c the gripping arm 5 of a side-loading vehicle for emptying the container 2 is shown. The collecting container 2 can be picked up and lifted out of the shaft 10 by means of the gripper 5.
  • the Figure 1b shows the base plate in a slightly downwardly pivoted position, which is assumed, for example, when the base plate 11 is loaded by the container 2 and the securing mechanism 20 is subsequently unlocked.
  • the collecting container 2 also comprises rollers 6 on a longitudinal edge on the container bottom. The opposite longitudinal edge of the container bottom is equipped with feet 7.
  • the end position of the collecting container 2 is shown in the figure Figure 1c reproduced. It can be seen that the collecting container 2 slides during the pivoting movement of the base plate 11 down to the shaft floor by means of the rollers 6 in the direction of the stop 14 until the rollers 6 or the edge of the collecting container 2 strikes it. In this inclined position, the cover 3 also closes flat with the opening of the shaft 10. Bearing rollers 15, 16, which are fastened to the shaft bottom and to the shaft wall, are also used to store the collecting container in this position.
  • the securing mechanism 20 for locking the base plate 11 in the locked position according to FIG Figure 1a is in the Figures 2a to 2c reproduced.
  • the securing mechanism consists of a securing arm 21 and the link 22, which consists of two identical link plates 22a, 22b lying parallel to one another.
  • the securing arm 21 is pivotably screwed to a bracket 23 protruding vertically downward from the base plate 11.
  • the link 22 is also articulated with the swivel arm 21.
  • the specific design of the screw connection with the console 23 allows a linear displacement of the link 22 perpendicular to the base plate 11.
  • the figure representation 2a shows the securing arm 21 in the locked position.
  • the securing arm 21 comprises at the freely pivotable end a square tube 24 which extends over the entire width side 11a ′ of the platform 11.
  • the figure representation of the Figures 2a to 2c show only one securing arm 21, but a securing arm 21 is mounted on the base plate 11 in the corner areas of the freely pivotable end 11a 'of the base plate 11, so that the square tube 24 is received by two securing arms 21.
  • the shaft 10 has a partial closure 10a for receiving a locking receptacle 26 with a corresponding longitudinal opening over the shaft width 11a ', so that the square tube 24 can engage in this opening.
  • the platform 11 In this position according to Figure 2a the platform 11 is thus locked and cannot be pivoted.
  • the link 22 When the link 22 is subjected to a corresponding load, it is displaced linearly downward, which at the same time entails a pivoting movement of the securing arm 21.
  • This pivoting movement of the securing arm 21 leads to the square profile 24 according to the drawings Figures 2b , 2c is moved to the right and down.
  • the square tube 24 slides out of the receptacle 26.
  • the Figure 2b shows the unlocked securing mechanism with a corresponding load by the collecting container 2.
  • the distance between the two connecting links 22 is selected so that they are loaded precisely by the feet 7 of the collecting container 2 fastened in the corner edges. Because of the continuous square tube 24, unlocking can only take place when both scenes 22 are loaded at the same time.
  • the base plate 11 In the unlocked position according to Figure 2b the base plate 11 can thus be pivoted further downwards and the container 2 into the final position according to FIG Figure 1c be spent.
  • the representation according to Figure 2c also shows how the locking arm 21 automatically moves into the locked position.
  • a guide plate 27 is provided in the area of the locking receptacle 26, on which the locking arm 21 or the square profile 24 automatically strikes when the shaft is closed and can thus slide into the receptacle 26.
  • the representation of the Figure 3 shows again a detailed representation of a single gate 22 with securing arm 21 and an exploded view of these components.
  • the link 22 in the area of the base plate 11 again comprises a plate 28 in order to be able to better absorb the weight of the collecting container 2.
  • the link 22 is consequently pressed vertically downwards and the pivoting movement of the securing arm 21 is triggered.
  • the link has a first elongated hole 30 that allows the linear movement perpendicular to the base plate 11.
  • a second elongated hole 31 running transversely to the first elongated hole is provided for receiving the securing arm 21 is used and thus only allows the circular movement.
  • Pre-tensioned springs 32a, 32b on both guide plates 22a, 22b are used to automatically pull the slotted guide 22 upwards so that the securing arm 21 is pulled into the locking position when the plate 28 is unloaded.
  • Figure 4 shows again a representation of the entire securing device consisting of the base plate 11, the end of which can be mounted on a shaft via the two pivot bearings 12.
  • the two gas springs 13a, 13b act on the bottom plate 11 on the right and left in the region of the longitudinal edges.
  • the continuous stop 14 can be seen in the form of a sheet metal running perpendicular to the base plate 11.
  • a securing mechanism 20 is provided in each case on both the left and the right side edge in the corner area.
  • Unlocking is only possible by actuating both scenes 22 at the same time. These are at a defined distance from one another, which corresponds to the distance between the feet 7 of the container, and are set by the spring preload of the springs 32a, 32b so that it is normally not possible for pedestrians to close the mechanism at this distance and with the required force unlock. If the platform 11 is loaded in the unlocked state, the spring mechanism, in combination with the link shape, has an increasingly self-locking effect. A point load of 300 kilos on platform 11 is thus secured.
  • the underfloor collection system described is designed in particular for container shapes that are to be emptied with the aid of a side loader.
