Claims (10)

  1. Tumble dryer (1) comprising a laundry drum (15) for receiving laundry (5) to be dried, and at least one heating unit (2) which is designed and arranged so as to heat the laundry drum (15), and a liquid dispensing unit (4) which is oriented towards the upper region of the laundry drum (15), is designed as a spray unit (4) and is arranged so as to spray a liquid (40) onto the inner face (15a) of the laundry drum (15), characterised in that the heating unit (2) is stationarily arranged radially outside the laundry drum (15) as a contactless heating unit (2) and is designed as an induction heating unit (2), the contactless heating unit (2) and the liquid dispensing unit (4) being arranged so as to be offset from one another in the circumferential direction (U) of the laundry drum (15), the liquid dispensing unit (4) being arranged downstream of the heating unit (2) in the direction of rotation V of the laundry drum (15).
  2. Tumble dryer (1) according to claim 1, wherein the contactless heating unit (2) is designed to be operated with a heating power based on the amount of liquid dispensed from the liquid dispensing unit (4) to the laundry drum (15), or vice versa.
  3. Tumble dryer (1) according to either claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the contactless heating unit (2) is designed to be operated with a heating power based on the rotational speed of the laundry drum (15), or vice versa.
  4. Tumble dryer (1) according to any of the preceding claims, further comprising a temperature sensor (42) which is designed and arranged so as to detect a temperature of the laundry drum (15).
  5. Tumble dryer (1) according to claim 4, wherein the temperature sensor (42) is stationarily arranged radially outside the laundry drum (15).
  6. Tumble dryer (1) according to any of the preceding claims, further comprising a moisture sensor (43), which is designed and arranged so as to detect moisture inside the laundry drum (15).
  7. Tumble dryer (1) according to claim 6, wherein the moisture sensor (43) is stationarily arranged radially outside the laundry drum (15).
  8. Method for moistening laundry (5) by means of a tumble dryer (1) according to any of claims 1 to 7, comprising the steps of:
    starting the rotation of the laundry drum (15), then, temporally thereafter, starting the contactless heating of the laundry drum (15), and starting the dispensation of a liquid (40) to the laundry drum (15).
  9. Method according to claim 8, wherein, after starting the contactless heating of the laundry drum (15), the temperature of the laundry drum (15) is detected and the dispensation of the liquid (40) to the laundry drum (15) is started only when a predetermined temperature of the laundry drum (15) is reached.
  10. Method according to either claim 8 or claim 9, further comprising the subsequent step(s) of:
    ending the dispensation of the liquid (40) to the laundry drum (15) on the basis of a period of time since the dispensation of the liquid (40) to the laundry drum (15) was started, and/or
    on the basis of a number of revolutions of the laundry drum (15) since the dispensation of the liquid (40) to the laundry drum (15) was started, and/or
    on the basis of the amount of liquid (40) dispensed to the laundry drum (15), and/or
    on the basis of a detected temperature falling below a predetermined temperature of the laundry drum (15), and/or
    on the basis of a detected moisture reaching a predetermined moisture within the laundry drum (15).
