Definitions
- the present invention relates to a storage and transport unit, comprising a container with a container cover and a carrying device, and the use of the container cover as a throwing disc.
- a storage and transport unit comprising a container with a container cover and a carrying device, and the use of the container cover as a throwing disc.
- bottles, cans and the like are usually provided in cases or simple carriers such as the six-carrier. Cooling the contents of the bottle or can is often difficult and can only be done using expensive equipment such as a transportable cooling box. In particular, moving the individual containers from the crate to the transportable refrigerated crate is expensive and time-consuming.
- the US-A 2,740,546 discloses a generic storage and transport device for containers filled with fishing bait and closed and standing on the bottom of the bucket and protruding through the lid of the bucket with vertical openings. So that the containers do not fall out during transport, the containers are fitted with clips and are close together approximately vertically near the middle of the bucket and a cooling medium can only effectively act on a small part of the container surface.
- the US patent application U.S. 2005/0252919 A1 presents a bucket insert (insert 100) with a bucket, with which several bottles are held in the bucket at a distance from one another.
- the bottles are not secured against slipping out because the openings in the lid correspond to the diameter of the bottle body. Filling the space in the bucket surrounding the bottles with solid coolant such as ice cubes or crushed ice is not possible because the lid of the insert closes the bucket when the bottles are in place. Otherwise, it makes no sense to fill the bucket with insert with pieces of ice before the bottles have been placed in the bucket, because then the ice will cover the bottom and the bottles will no longer have enough space. It is simply not possible to surround the bottles with pieces of ice.
- the construction with two carrying handles, two levels of the insert including spacers 130 is complex and therefore expensive to produce.
- the storage and transport device thus comprises at least one container that is filled with filled and sealed containers, as well as a container cover that fits the container, and a carrying device.
- the distance between the container cover and the container bottom is chosen so that it is smaller than the height of the containers with which the container is equipped.
- the containers are therefore larger than the distance between the bottom of the container and the lid.
- bottles, cans and the like can be selected as containers.
- openings are provided in the container cover.
- the container cover is thus designed as a lid with holes.
- the holes or openings are to be selected in such a way that when the lid is placed on or in the container from above, it also completely or partially closes the container.
- the lid must have at least as many openings as there are containers in the container.
- the openings must also, for example in a bottle, have a diameter which is larger than the crown cap and larger than the top of the bottle neck.
- the diameter of the opening is preferably selected in such a way that the horizontal gap that occurs between the bottles and the lid only has a smaller clear dimension when the lid is positively connected to the container.
- the openings therefore enclose the bottle necks almost too positively, so that the bottles are held in position by the lid. This is particularly advantageous for transporting bottles, as the lid prevents the bottles from hitting each other and thus protects the bottles better than usual during transport.
- the carrying device which is designed, for example, as a conventional handle, is attached to the container, preferably from the outside, and is rotatably mounted in the container.
- the carrying device is thus movably connected to the container and to the container.
- the size of the handle should also be chosen for transport so that there is enough space between the handle and the containers for one hand to carry the device. Injuries to the wearer's hand, which could be caused in particular by sharp-edged crown caps, can thereby be avoided.
- Particularly advantageous in the device according to the invention is the option of using the device for cooling the beverages and the option of using parts of the device for other purposes, eg as buckets.
- the container of the device can be used as a rubbish bin.
- the container has a container height and the predetermined height of the container cover above the container floor essentially corresponds to the container height.
- the container cover thus covers the container in the manner of a conventional lid that is placed on the container from above.
- the container cover thus comes into contact essentially at the height of the container.
- the cover preferably has only a small depth and thus essentially closes the container flat.
- the containers are thus both larger than the distance between the lid and the container bottom and larger than the container height.
- the container therefore has exactly as many bottles as there are openings in the lid.
- the openings preferably form a substantially positive fit with the bottles. There is then only a small clearance between the bottle necks and the edges of the openings in the lid. This is particularly advantageous for cooling the bottles, especially when the free space in the container is filled with a cooling medium, such as crushed ice.
- the containers have a base with a base diameter and a neck with a bottle neck diameter, the base diameter being larger than the corresponding opening diameter and the bottle neck diameter being smaller than the corresponding opening diameter.
- the container is therefore equipped with bottles and the openings are selected in such a way that only the neck of the bottle fits through the corresponding opening.
- the container lid may be provided with a seal or a breakable closure at the top edge of the device.
- bottles are held in the container by the lid, while the larger diameter of the bottle base prevents the bottles from falling out of the container during transport.
- the user is independently able to fill the storage and transport unit with ice by removing the container lid and then closing the unit again.
- the ice then comes to lie in the space between the bottles and thus leads to a optimal cooling effect.
- the container cover is essentially non-rotatably connected to the container.
- the lid and the container thus form a rotationally fixed form fit at least on the outer edge of the container.
- the lid can therefore not perform any rotational movements when engaged with the container. This can be realized, for example, by an originality closure.
- the lid holds the containers in position in the container against displacement. Bottles can therefore not hit each other during transport. This also increases safety against glass breakage during transport, especially because the combination of bottles and lids is held in place.
- the canister cover 130 has five to eleven vertical openings, with one hole or opening centrally located in the canister cover, which preferably may be configured as a central vertical opening, and the remaining vertical openings being equidistant from the one central opening and the storage and transport device accommodates five to eleven containers, with the number of vertical openings corresponding to the number of containers.
- the container thus has a weight of five to eleven bottles that can be carried by anyone.
- the vertical openings in the container cover which dictate the placement of the containers in the container are arranged so that the containers are preferably arranged around a container on a ring concentric therewith. This type of arrangement enables the containers to be optimally spaced from one another, particularly in cylindrical or slightly conical containers.
- the storage and transport device is thus set up to accommodate, in particular, commercially available containers such as 0.2 liter, 0.25 liter, 0.33 liter or 0.75 liter bottles.
- the storage and transport device is preferably set up to accommodate 0.33L or 0.5L bottles, in particular for beer.
- the storage and transport device thus weighs only a few kilograms and can be carried by anyone with one hand.
- the container, the container cover and the carrying device are formed from plastic, in particular from the same plastic. On the one hand, this enables a structure that entails only little weight and, on the other hand for others, the use of plastic provides a robust device in a particularly favorable manner.
- An EZE 5600 bucket is particularly preferably used for the design of the storage and transport device.
- This standardized bucket can be purchased inexpensively and constructed in accordance with the present invention.
- the advantage here is the recourse to a standard that allows for a cost-effective price for the end customer, so that, for example, the device according to the invention as
- Reusable product can be distributed.
- the production costs compared to a normal six-carrier or a box are therefore cheap.
- the device according to the invention is loaded with beer and sold at gas stations.
- the device according to the invention then essentially corresponds to a significantly improved six-piece carrier, in which case it can be cooled simply with crushed ice that has been purchased.
- Such a device increases the quality of life of the end consumer many times over.
- the container is additionally filled with a cooling medium, in particular ice.
- the hollow space in the container which is not filled by the containers, thus at least partially has a cooling medium.
- the cooling medium can be made of ice or, in particular, be crushed ice.
- the almost airtight closure of the container by means of the lid creates a cooling space that enables the containers to be cooled for a long time.
- the cooling medium can, for example, already be in the container when the device is sold, or it can be added to the container later by opening and then closing the lid again.
- the storage and transport device is designed to be stacked with a large number of other storage and transport devices.
- the storage and transport device has a spacing device which is arranged horizontally in the container in such a way that the containers are regularly and firmly spaced from one another.
- the spacing device is thus arranged horizontally between the lid and the container base and horizontally between the containers. It is made of cardboard, for example, and has an imprint.
- the function of the spacer is to also regularly space the containers underneath the lid. This is particularly desirable with larger bottles to increase resistance to breakage.
- a template is made for this purpose, which is designed in the shape of a star and is slipped over one or the middle bottle.
- the spacing device is designed as a cooling medium.
- the holding device is particularly preferably designed as a cooling bag or cold bag or cool pad and is shaped in such a way that it can be arranged in the container between the containers in order to space the containers essentially regularly.
- a storage and transport device that is unequipped is also proposed. It therefore has no containers.
- the device can be freely equipped by the end user.
- the device is therefore prepared accordingly for certain types of bottles and set up to receive these bottles according to the invention.
- Fig. 1a shows a storage and transport device 100. It comprises a container 110 which is essentially circular in cross-section and has a container bottom 111 and a container opening 112 and a container height HB. The container is also slightly conical and is fitted with seven bottles 120 of the same type.
- the filled and closed bottles 120 are also closed with a grain cork 122 . Furthermore, the bottles have a bottle base 124, a bottle neck 126 and a container height HFL, the container height HFL being greater than the container height HB and the bottleneck diameter dFH being smaller than the diameter of the bottle base dB.
- the storage and transport device 100 is also closed with a container cover 130 that fits the container opening 112 and comes to rest at a height HV above the container floor 124 .
- the container cover 130 has seven vertical openings 132 with a predetermined opening diameter D o and a circumferential nut engagement 134 .
- the female engagement 134 is positively and reversibly connected to a male engagement 114 located at the top edge 116 of the container 110 .
- the container cover 130 is thus non-rotatably connected to the container 110 via an originality closure 150.
- the container cover 130 has a predetermined height H v above which the container bottom 111 comes into contact with the container 110.
- the container height H FL is greater than the predetermined height H v .
- the height H v also essentially corresponds to the container height H B .
- the container height H b is significantly higher than the height H v of the container cover, namely when the container has a raised edge and the container cover rests on top of the container, as in the example shown, but inside the container, in which case the height of the cover is still lower than the height of the container.
- the container height H B it would also be possible for the container height H B to be greater than the container height, which in turn, as mentioned, is greater than the height H v of the container cover.
- the above variant is not shown in the drawing, but is also within the scope of the invention.
- the vertical openings 132 enclose the bottle necks 126 with the bottle neck diameter d FH with a small opening dimension d o such that the bottles 120 in the container 110 are essentially firmly positioned relative to one another.
- a small opening dimension means in particular that d o is in the range from 0.5 to approx. 3 mm and is essentially determined by the diameter of the crown cap of the bottle, which still has to fit through the opening.
- the predetermined opening diameters D o of the vertical openings 132 are selected in such a way that they are larger than the corresponding diameters dK of the crown caps 122.
- the diameter of the bottoms of the bottles dB is larger than the corresponding opening diameter DO of the openings 132.
- a spacer 150 is arranged horizontally between the bottles 120 in the container 110 so that the bottles are regular and fixed to one another are spaced.
- the storage and transport device 100 also has a carrying device 140 for transporting the storage and transport device. This is designed as a handle and is connected to the container 110 so that it can rotate about a horizontal axis AH.
- the container 110 has a receptacle 142 on its upper edge 116 .
- the container 110 is also filled with ice 160 which cools the contents of the bottles.
- the container 110, the lid 130 and the handle 140 are molded from the same plastic.
- a bottle opener 190 is glued onto the container 110 and can be detached manually from the container 110 if required.
- Fig. 1b 12 shows a schematic representation of the container cover according to the embodiment in FIG Fig. 1a in a top view.
- the tank cover 130 of tank cover diameter DBA has seven vertical openings 132 of opening diameter DO.
- One of the vertical openings 132 is located at the center M of the container cover 130 and the other vertical openings 132 are located at a radius rMO around the centrally located opening 132 .
- the vertical openings 132 are arranged symmetrically at a distance d00 from one another. The openings 132 are therefore at the same distance from one another.
- FIG. 1c shows a schematic representation of the spacing device according to the embodiment in FIG Fig. 1a in a top view.
- the spacer 150 which is placed horizontally in the container to space the containers or bottles evenly and firmly from one another, is formed of cardboard in the shape of a star and has a diameter D Sc .
- a first recess 152 with a diameter Dso is arranged in the center M2 of the spacer 150 with the diameter DSA. Furthermore, six further recesses 153 are arranged corresponding to the vertical openings of the cover. They are thus also distributed concentrically around the centrally arranged recess 152, with the center points M3 of the six further recesses 153 being spaced evenly apart on the circular ring 155 of the radius rSA. The diameter D so of the recesses is also larger than the corresponding bottleneck diameter dFH.
Description
The present invention relates to a storage and transport unit, comprising a container with a container cover and a carrying device, and the use of the container cover as a throwing disc. According to the state of the art, bottles, cans and the like are usually provided in cases or simple carriers such as the six-carrier. Cooling the contents of the bottle or can is often difficult and can only be done using expensive equipment such as a transportable cooling box. In particular, moving the individual containers from the crate to the transportable refrigerated crate is expensive and time-consuming.

The bottles are not secured against slipping out because the openings in the lid correspond to the diameter of the bottle body. The construction with two carrying handles, two levels of the
It is therefore the object of the present invention to address the aforementioned problems. In particular, the prior art is to be improved and a solution is to be proposed which provides a portable storage and transport device for bottles which makes it possible to cool the containers even during transport.
At the very least, an alternative to previous solutions should be proposed.
The object is achieved with a storage and transport device according to claim 1.
The storage and transport device thus comprises at least one container that is filled with filled and sealed containers, as well as a container cover that fits the container, and a carrying device.
The distance between the container cover and the container bottom is chosen so that it is smaller than the height of the containers with which the container is equipped. The containers are therefore larger than the distance between the bottom of the container and the lid. For example, bottles, cans and the like can be selected as containers.
In order to nevertheless close the container from which the containers protrude with a suitable container cover, openings are provided in the container cover. The container cover is thus designed as a lid with holes. The holes or openings are to be selected in such a way that when the lid is placed on or in the container from above, it also completely or partially closes the container. The lid must have at least as many openings as there are containers in the container. The openings must also, for example in a bottle, have a diameter which is larger than the crown cap and larger than the top of the bottle neck. The diameter of the opening is preferably selected in such a way that the horizontal gap that occurs between the bottles and the lid only has a smaller clear dimension when the lid is positively connected to the container. The openings therefore enclose the bottle necks almost too positively, so that the bottles are held in position by the lid. This is particularly advantageous for transporting bottles, as the lid prevents the bottles from hitting each other and thus protects the bottles better than usual during transport.
The carrying device, which is designed, for example, as a conventional handle, is attached to the container, preferably from the outside, and is rotatably mounted in the container. The carrying device is thus movably connected to the container and to the container. As a result, the storage and transport device requires only little storage space during storage.
The size of the handle should also be chosen for transport so that there is enough space between the handle and the containers for one hand to carry the device. Injuries to the wearer's hand, which could be caused in particular by sharp-edged crown caps, can thereby be avoided.
Particularly advantageous in the device according to the invention is the option of using the device for cooling the beverages and the option of using parts of the device for other purposes, eg as buckets.
For example, the container of the device can be used as a rubbish bin. According to one embodiment, the container has a container height and the predetermined height of the container cover above the container floor essentially corresponds to the container height.
The container cover thus covers the container in the manner of a conventional lid that is placed on the container from above. The container cover thus comes into contact essentially at the height of the container. The cover preferably has only a small depth and thus essentially closes the container flat. The containers are thus both larger than the distance between the lid and the container bottom and larger than the container height.
The container therefore has exactly as many bottles as there are openings in the lid. The openings preferably form a substantially positive fit with the bottles. There is then only a small clearance between the bottle necks and the edges of the openings in the lid. This is particularly advantageous for cooling the bottles, especially when the free space in the container is filled with a cooling medium, such as crushed ice.
The containers have a base with a base diameter and a neck with a bottle neck diameter, the base diameter being larger than the corresponding opening diameter and the bottle neck diameter being smaller than the corresponding opening diameter.
The container is therefore equipped with bottles and the openings are selected in such a way that only the neck of the bottle fits through the corresponding opening.
This design measure prevents bottles from slipping out of the storage and transport unit. Nor can the bottles be removed from the storage and transport unit without opening and removing the lid. This prevents the removal of individual bottles at the point of sale. The container lid may be provided with a seal or a breakable closure at the top edge of the device.
It is particularly advantageous here that the bottles are held in the container by the lid, while the larger diameter of the bottle base prevents the bottles from falling out of the container during transport.
The user is independently able to fill the storage and transport unit with ice by removing the container lid and then closing the unit again. The ice then comes to lie in the space between the bottles and thus leads to a optimal cooling effect.
According to a further embodiment, the container cover is essentially non-rotatably connected to the container.
The lid and the container thus form a rotationally fixed form fit at least on the outer edge of the container. The lid can therefore not perform any rotational movements when engaged with the container. This can be realized, for example, by an originality closure.
It is particularly advantageous here that the lid holds the containers in position in the container against displacement. Bottles can therefore not hit each other during transport. This also increases safety against glass breakage during transport, especially because the combination of bottles and lids is held in place.
The
The container thus has a weight of five to eleven bottles that can be carried by anyone.
The vertical openings in the container cover which dictate the placement of the containers in the container are arranged so that the containers are preferably arranged around a container on a ring concentric therewith. This type of arrangement enables the containers to be optimally spaced from one another, particularly in cylindrical or slightly conical containers.
The storage and transport device is thus set up to accommodate, in particular, commercially available containers such as 0.2 liter, 0.25 liter, 0.33 liter or 0.75 liter bottles. The storage and transport device is preferably set up to accommodate 0.33L or 0.5L bottles, in particular for beer. The storage and transport device thus weighs only a few kilograms and can be carried by anyone with one hand. According to a further embodiment, the container, the container cover and the carrying device are formed from plastic, in particular from the same plastic. On the one hand, this enables a structure that entails only little weight and, on the other hand for others, the use of plastic provides a robust device in a particularly favorable manner.
This standardized bucket can be purchased inexpensively and constructed in accordance with the present invention. The advantage here is the recourse to a standard that allows for a cost-effective price for the end customer, so that, for example, the device according to the invention as
Reusable product can be distributed. The production costs compared to a normal six-carrier or a box are therefore cheap.
For example, the device according to the invention is loaded with beer and sold at gas stations. The device according to the invention then essentially corresponds to a significantly improved six-piece carrier, in which case it can be cooled simply with crushed ice that has been purchased. Such a device increases the quality of life of the end consumer many times over.
According to a further embodiment, the container is additionally filled with a cooling medium, in particular ice.
The hollow space in the container, which is not filled by the containers, thus at least partially has a cooling medium. The cooling medium can be made of ice or, in particular, be crushed ice. The almost airtight closure of the container by means of the lid creates a cooling space that enables the containers to be cooled for a long time. The cooling medium can, for example, already be in the container when the device is sold, or it can be added to the container later by opening and then closing the lid again.
The storage and transport device is designed to be stacked with a large number of other storage and transport devices.
This can be made possible, for example, by using the same containers with the same container height. This results in a storage area that is formed from several circular areas on which the next device can be stacked. In particular, the device has 7 bottles for this purpose.
According to a further embodiment, the storage and transport device has a spacing device which is arranged horizontally in the container in such a way that the containers are regularly and firmly spaced from one another.
The spacing device is thus arranged horizontally between the lid and the container base and horizontally between the containers. It is made of cardboard, for example, and has an imprint. The function of the spacer is to also regularly space the containers underneath the lid. This is particularly desirable with larger bottles to increase resistance to breakage. For example, a template is made for this purpose, which is designed in the shape of a star and is slipped over one or the middle bottle.
According to a further embodiment, the spacing device is designed as a cooling medium.
The holding device is particularly preferably designed as a cooling bag or cold bag or cool pad and is shaped in such a way that it can be arranged in the container between the containers in order to space the containers essentially regularly.
A storage and transport device that is unequipped is also proposed. It therefore has no containers.
It is particularly advantageous here that the device can be freely equipped by the end user. The device is therefore prepared accordingly for certain types of bottles and set up to receive these bottles according to the invention.
When using the storage and transport device as a drinking bucket, there is the advantage that drinking straws can be inserted through the openings and these drinking straws always remain at a distance from one another and thus offer a better standard of hygiene than previous drinking buckets, in which the drinking straws are inserted into the containers , can not be spaced and thus come to lie directly against each other.
