Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of flexible tubes comprising a cap closing off the neck prior to the first use of the tube, and a perforating cap suitable for piercing the cap.
- Tubes provided with a cover associated with a perforating cap comprising a punch adapted to perforate said cover are known.
- the cap makes it possible to preserve the product contained in the tube in a hermetic manner during its storage prior to its first use, which represents a very important part of the overall life of the tube.
- plugs in which the punch is placed in the plug and protrudes therefrom so as to be able to perforate the cover when the plug is screwed onto the tube head.
- a ring is placed between the cap and the shoulder of the tube head, so as to keep the punch away from the cap when the cap is screwed on. on the neck.
- the user To pierce and / or cut the cap, the user must first unscrew the cap, then remove the ring and finally screw the cap back on until the cap is pierced and / or cut.
- the number of steps is restrictive for the user who often does not understand what the ring is for and does not necessarily understand either that a cover must be pierced before using the tube for the first time.
- Such an assembly allows the stopper to be kept in the standby position without having to use an additional part other than the neck and the stopper.
- the free end of the punch projecting from the stopper is kept away from the cover closing the neck and the cover is thus preserved from any perforation or cutting prior to the first use of the tube by a user in a simple and reliable manner. without complicating the closing assembly.
- such an assembly makes it possible to refrain from using the spacer ring generally used in such a system to keep the punch away from the cap.
- stopper is understood to mean an object permitting the leaktight sealing of a receptacle, in particular an outlet opening for a product, in a reversible manner.
- a stopper according to the invention can thus pass from an open position to a closed position and vice versa, mainly by a screwing movement or the like.
- the present invention does not include closure assemblies, such as a hinged service capsule, permanently fixed to the opening and comprising a passage orifice for the outlet of the product and a folding cap making it possible to close said orifice.
- the invention also relates to a tube comprising an assembly as described above.
- the tube head 5 a variant of which is presented on figures 1 and 3 to 8 , comprises the neck 7 defining a longitudinal axis ZZ, a shoulder 11 and a solid insert 13 forming a cover 15 closing off said neck 7, in the lower part of the latter.
- said neck 7 and said shoulder 11 are designed in one piece and are continuously continuous.
- the insert 13 is located against a lower face of the shoulder 11, intended to be oriented towards the inside of the tube.
- Said neck 7 is, here, in the form of a cylinder extending from an upper end situated towards the outside of said tube 3 towards a lower end opposite to the upper end and directed towards the inside of said tube 3.
- Said upper end has an outlet orifice 7a allowing the outlet of said product contained in the tube.
- the lower end is adjacent to said shoulder 11.
- Said shoulder 11 extends from the lower end of said neck towards an outer periphery, here cylindrical, in a direction essentially perpendicular to the axis ZZ, that is to say the part of the tube head going in s' flaring from said neck 7.
- Said shoulder 11 is configured so that a tube skirt can be fixed, in particular at its periphery, to form said tube 3.
- the insert 13 comprises a peripheral section, typically of frustoconical or disc shape, and a central section forming said cover 15, the diameter of which typically corresponds to the internal diameter of the neck 7.
- the plug 9, an example of which is illustrated on figure 2 comprises a punch 17 projecting from said stopper 9.
- Said punch 17 is in particular made from material of said stopper 9.
- Said punch 17 is configured so as to be inserted inside the neck 7 of the tube head 5 when the stopper 9 is fixed on said neck 7.
- a longitudinal direction of the stopper 9 is defined, corresponding to the longitudinal axis ZZ of the neck 7 when the stopper 9 is fixed on the neck 7.
- Said punch 17 allows the cutting and / or perforation of the cover 15.
- the cutting is advantageously partial, so that the portion or portions of the cover 15 having been cut remain linked to the rest of the insert, preventing thus any mixing of the material forming the insert with a product contained in the associated tube 3, and a possible distribution of this material to the user.
- said punch 17 has a cylindrical section of revolution, one free end of which is advantageously provided with cutting means so that when the stopper 9 is fixed, for example screwed, on the neck 7 of the tube head 5, the free end of the punch 17 is inserted into the neck 7.
- Said cutting means may be a bevelled shape of the free end, teeth and / or cutting notches, for example, regularly distributed around the periphery. of the free end of the punch 17.
- the example of the punch 17 shown in figures 2 and 4 to 8 is a punch 17 of cylindrical section of revolution, the free end of which is provided with three teeth 19 of low height and regularly distributed around the periphery of its free end.
- said neck 7 and said stopper 9 are configured to make it possible to maintain said stopper 9 fixed on said neck 7 in a first position, called the standby position ( figures 14a, 14b ), in which the punch 17 is kept at a distance from the cover 15 and in a second position, called the position of use ( figures 15a, 15b ), wherein said punch 17 pierces said cover 15.
- Said neck 7 and said stopper 9 are also configured to allow said stopper 9 to be kept in a third position, called the closed position ( figures 7 and 16a, 16b ), wherein said neck 7 and said stopper 9 seal said tube 3.
- Said stopper 9 is configured to pass from the standby position to the use position and / or from the use position to the closed position by at least one rotational movement.
- Said rotational movement is also simultaneously accompanied by an axial movement along the ZZ axis. It is a helical movement.
- Said plug 9 is configured to pass from the standby position to the use position and / or from the use position to the closed position essentially by a movement always going in the same direction, in other words the direction of rotation. is still the same.
- the passage of said plug 9 from the standby position to the use position and / or from the use position to the closed position is reversible. It is thus possible to open said tube and then to close it after use, and vice versa.
- Said neck 7 comprises at least a first blocking means configured to cooperate with said stopper 9 to keep said stopper 9 in the standby position.
- said neck 7 and said stopper 9 each comprise at least one locking means cooperating together to keep said stopper 9 in the standby position.
- said first blocking means or means are a ring 25 located on an external surface of said neck 7 and said second blocking means or means are protuberances 27a, 27b located on an internal surface of said stopper 9.
- said stopper 9 is thus held in the standby position by snapping said stopper 9 onto said neck 7, in particular by snapping ring 25 with said protuberances 27a, 27b.
- said protuberances 27a, 27b are regularly distributed around the periphery of said stopper 9, in particular on the lower part of said stopper 9.
- the protuberances 27a, 27b are distributed over two rows, separated axially, and are angularly offset between the two rows so that the ring 25 is located between said protuberances 27a, 27b, in the standby position of the plug 9.
- each row comprises at least two protuberances 27a, 27b, or even at less three, or even at least four.
- each of the rows comprises four protuberances 27a, 27b.
- the lower row of protuberances 27a makes it possible to keep said stopper 9 fixed on said neck 7 and to avoid an unwanted withdrawal of said stopper 9.
- the upper row of protuberances 27b makes it possible to limit the movement of said stopper 9 downwards when the latter it is fixed on the neck 7 and thus to keep the punch 17 away from the cover 15 and to avoid the perforation and / or the cutting of the latter without the intervention of the user before the first use.
- the ring 25 is derived from material of said neck 7 and goes all around said neck 7.
- Said ring 25 comprises a lower surface 25a directed towards the shoulder 11 of the tube head 5 and an upper surface 25b directed. towards the outlet orifice 7a of said neck 7.
- Said lower 25a and upper 25b surfaces are substantially planar and their radial extension allows the ring 25 to snap between said protuberances 27a, 27b.
- the ring 25 comprises in particular a thinned end to facilitate its snap-fastening between the protuberances 27a, 27b and its disengagement from these so that the user easily passes from the standby position to the position of use and then from the position of. Use in removing the plug 9.
- the protuberances 27a, 27b may also have a thinned end, as can be seen here. More precisely, here said ring 25 has a cross section of trapezoidal or triangular shape with a rounded top and / or said protuberances 27a, 27b have a rounded cross section.
- said neck 7 and said stopper 9 each comprise a thread, said first thread 29 and second thread 31 cooperating together to allow the passage of said stopper 9 from the standby position to the position of use by screwing by the user of said stopper 9 on the neck 7.
- said rotational movement and said axial movement described above are simultaneous and cause said screwing, according to a helical movement.
- Said stopper 9 is then fixed by screwing to said neck 7, while in the standby position, preferably, said threads 29 and 31 are not engaged.
- Said first thread 29 is located on the outer surface of said neck 7 in a part thereof greater than the ring 25.
- Said second thread 31 is located on the internal surface of said plug 9 in a part of the latter greater than said protuberances 27a, 27b, here at the bottom of said plug 9.
- Said neck 7 further comprises on its external surface a smooth zone, called the first smooth zone 33.
- the term “smooth zone” is understood here to mean a non-threaded zone.
- Said first smooth zone 33 extends over a part lower than said first thread 29 and lower than said ring 25. In other words, said first smooth zone 33 extends from the lower surface 25a of said ring 25 towards the shoulder 11 of the head of the machine. tube 5.
- the ring 25 is thus axially situated in a middle part of said neck 7 between said first thread 29 and said first smooth zone 33.
- Said plug 9 also comprises on its internal surface a smooth zone, called a second smooth zone 35.
- a smooth zone is understood to mean a non-threaded zone.

- the second smooth zone 35 extends from the bottom of the second thread 31 to the upper row of protuberances 27b.
- the internal diameter of said plug 9 at the level of the second smooth zone 35 is greater than the diameter of said neck 7 measured at the top of the threads of said first thread 29.
- Said stopper 9 further comprises an outer surface of which a lower part is smooth 21 and the other part, upper, ribbed 23.
- the ribbed part 23 corresponds in particular to a gripping zone of the user and facilitates handling. of the cap 9 and the opening / closing of said tube 3.
- said stopper 9 is fixed on said neck 7.
- said ring 25 is snapped onto the lower row of protuberances 27a and the stopper 9 is held in the standby position ( figures 3 to 5 ).
- the punch 17 is located at a non-zero distance from said cover 15 to protect it from cutting and / or perforation.
- this maintenance in the waiting position is ensured by the upper row of protuberances 27b as mentioned previously, on which the ring 25 comes into abutment if one unintentionally tries to push in the plug 9 ( figure 5 ).
- the position of the upper row of protuberances 27b is calculated so that the punch 17 is kept sufficiently far from said cover 15 in the waiting position of said stopper 9.
- said first thread 29 is located opposite the second smooth zone 35 of said plug 9, as can be seen from figures 3 to 5 .
- the first and second threads (29, 31) do not yet cooperate and the screwing of the stopper 9 on the neck 7 has not yet started.
- said stopper 9 is pushed onto said neck 7 by the user along the ZZ axis so that said ring 25 exceeds the upper row of protuberances 27b to arrive in an intermediate position ( figure 6 ).
- the thread 31 of said plug 9 begins to engage in the thread 29 of said neck 7 and said punch 17 reaches and then pierces and / or cuts said cover 15, on the last or the last screwing turns.
- said stopper 9 is completely screwed onto said neck 7 by the user.
- the plug 9 thus reaches the closed position ( figure 7 ) in which said cover 15 is cut and / or perforated by said punch 17.
- the smooth zone 35 of the stopper 9 is then opposite the smooth zone 33 of said neck 7.

- These characteristics are represented here in conjunction with the figure 17 but can also be generalized.
- said stopper 9 is fixed on said neck 7 in its standby position.
- the projecting elements 39a of said plug 9 are guided in the guide ramp 43 by a counterclockwise rotational movement. This step is visible at the figure 13 .
- the projecting elements 39a of the stopper 9 are then placed in the entry 41a of the corresponding grooves 41 at their first portion 41b. They are held in abutment to the right by the extension 45 of the first portion 41b of the groove 41 and downwards by the first lug 37a of said neck 7.
- Said plug 9 is then placed in its waiting position by an axial downward movement, in which each protruding element 39a engaged in the groove 41 is snapped beyond the first lug 37a. Said plug 9 is then held in the waiting position by means of the first 37a and second 37b lugs which limit its movement to the left (rotation) and upwards (translation) as described above. This waiting position is visible to figures 14a and 14b .
- each projecting element 39a of said plug 9 engaged in the groove 41 at the level of the second portion 41c is snapped past the second lug 37b and the plug 9 comes out of the standby position. This step is visible to figures 15a and 15b .
