Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système de caméras (20) destiné à visualiser au moins une zone (35, 45) située dans la périphérie d'un véhicule (10). Le système de caméras (20) comporte au moins une caméra (30, 40) montée sur le véhicule (10) et une unité d'affichage. Selon l'invention, l'au moins une caméra (30, 40) est configurée pour enregistrer et produire à l'unité d'affichage des images d'une zone périphérique (35, 45) qui s'étend devant ou derrière le véhicule (10) et qui comporte au moins une zone de bord (36, 37, 46, 47) qui s'étend au moins partiellement sur le côté du véhicule (10). En outre, l'unité d'affichage est configurée pour afficher chaque image, en cours d'enregistrement au moyen de l'au moins une caméra (30, 40) sous la forme d'une image unique ou d'une image partielle d'une image unique. En outre, l'unité d'affichage est configurée pour détecter et sélectionner chaque partie d'image, se produisant dans l'image unique en cours d'affichage, qui reproduit un objet situé dans une zone de bord (36, 37, 46, 47) et s'approchant latéralement du véhicule (10), et pour présenter chaque partie d'image sélectionnée de façon agrandie à l'intérieur de l'image unique en cours d'affichage.
