Die Rahmenelemente 6 und 8 bilden je mit einem hinteren Widerlager 13' und 14' (abgebildet im Bildvordergrund) und einem kopfseitigen Rahmenverschluss als Kopfstücke 13 und 14 einen geschlossenen Rahmen, der die Kräfte aufnimmt, welche die Lagerböcke 17, 18, 19 und 20 auseinander treibt. Zum Wechseln der Mahlwalzen 2, 3 ist vorgesehen, dass die Kopfelemente 13 und 14 entfernt werden und die Mahlwalzen 2, 3 mitsamt ihren Lagerböcken 17, 18, 19 und 20 nach vorne (in den Bildhintergrund) aus dem Maschinenrahmen 4 herausgeschoben werden.
