Durch die Verwendung des Gleichlaufgetriebes 11 führen die Hebel 6a bei einer Höhenverstellung der Stützbereiche 10a, 10b eine Bewegung entlang einer Kreisbahn durch. Wie insbesondere aus der Figur 4 ersichtlich ist, sind die Stützbereiche 10a, 10b in Führungen F der Lehnenträger 7 geführt, so dass die Stützbereiche 10a, 10b bei einer Höhenverstellung eine Linearbewegung ausführen. Um einen Ausgleich zwischen der Kreisbewegung der Hebel 6a und der Linearbewegung der Stützbereiche 10a, 10b zu schaffen, sind Koppelglieder 6b vorgesehen. Claims (6)

  1. Lumbar support (1) for a chair having a backrest that has backrest carriers (7) that are pivotable independently of one another, wherein the lumbar support comprises:
    supporting regions (10a, 10b);
    spring elements (2), wherein the supporting regions (10a, 10b) are each spring-mounted on a separate spring element (2), wherein each spring element (2) has a spring action, wherein the spring action of each spring element (2) is settable individually; and
    a carrier (5), wherein each of the spring elements is arranged on the carrier (5), which is able to be hinged to the backrest carriers (7) that are pivotable independently of one another, wherein
    the supporting regions (10a, 10b) are each mounted on the associated spring element (2) by means of a lever mechanism (6a, 6b), characterized in that the supporting regions (10a, 10b) are movable synchronously relative to the carrier (5) via a gear mechanism (11) operatively connected to the respective lever mechanism (6a, 6b).
  2. Lumbar support according to Claim 1, wherein the spring elements (2) each comprise a leaf spring (2).
  3. Lumbar support according to Claim 2, wherein the bearing element is moved along the longitudinal axis of the leaf spring (2) via a threaded mechanism (4).
  4. Lumbar support according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the supporting regions (10a, 10b) are each formed such that they can engage in guides in the backrest carriers (7) that are pivotable independently of one another.
  5. Chair having a backrest that has backrest carriers (7) that are pivotable independently of one another, wherein a lumbar support (1) according to one of the preceding claims is connected in an articulated manner to the backrest carriers (7) that are pivotable independently of one another.
