Dies kann zu einer Beschädigung des Abstreifgitters führen, da einerseits das Abstreifgitter von einem auf gestapelten Behälter unmittelbar beansprucht wird. Die obigen Probleme ergeben sich entsprechend auch bei der Handhabung vereinzelter Behälter oder der Handhabung eines vereinzelten Abstreifgitters. Die zumindest eine Anbindung des Korpus an dem Abstreifgitter ist somit beabstandet von dem dem Korpus des Abstreifgitters zugewandten Ende der Aufnahme angeordnet (welches Ende dem gitterrandseitigen Aufnahmeende gegenüberliegt). Durch die zusätzliche Anbindung wird der Haltevorsprung gegenüber dem Abstreifgitterkorpus in der Transportstellung des Gitters zusätzlich lagefixiert. Dies hat sich als besonders vorteilhaft herausgestellt, da durch die an den jeweiligen Haltevorsprung unmittelbar angrenzende Aufnahme für den oberen Behälterrand der Haltevorsprung ansonsten nur mit seinem Endbereich an dem Gitterkorpus festgelegt ist und der Haltevorsprung leicht unerwünscht gegenüber dem Korpus des Abstreifgitters lageverändert oder deformiert werden kann, da der Haltevorsprung zumeist randseitig an dem Gitter angeordnet und aufgrund der notwendigen Längserstreckung der Aufnahme ebenfalls langgestreckt ausgebildet ist. Durch eine solche Lageveränderung oder Deformation wie bspw. Abknicken kann die Haltefunktion des Haltevorsprunges in der Arbeitsstellung des Abstreifgitters beeinträchtigt werden. Diese Vorteile ergeben sich bei gestapelten Behältern bzw. Claims (14)

  1. Container for coating compositions such as paint, the container (1) having a container opening (4) for removing the coating composition, a peripheral side wall (5) and a lid (20) which can be fixed to the latter and can close the container opening (4) in a sealing manner, and having a scraping screen (30) with an at least substantially flat body (31) and with a central scraping surface (32) for scraping the coating composition from an application tool, wherein the scraping screen (30) in a first transport position is or can be releasably fastened to the container (1) or lid (20) and wherein the scraping screen (30) in a second working position with the container (1) open is or can be positioned in an arrangement plugged onto the container side wall (5) and at least partially exposes the container opening (4) thus allowing the application tool to be introduced into the container (1) while at least a partial region of the scraping screen or scraping surface (32) protrudes upwards out of the container opening (4), the scraping screen (30) having at least one or more receptacle(s) for the container side wall (5), which receptacle(s) open(s) into the peripheral edge thereof when the screen (30) is plugged on the container side wall (5), the receptacle (34) laterally delimiting a retaining projection towards the scraping surface (32) and the retaining projection being arranged outside the container when the screen (30) is plug-fitted, the retaining projection (35) being fastened to the scraping screen (30) with a fastening region, characterized in that the at least one or more retaining projections (35) each have at least one connection (36) to the body (31) of the scraping screen at the level of the receptacle (34), which connection is provided in addition to the fastening region of the retaining projection (35) on the scraping screen (30), in that the connection (36) is designed to be severable, with the respective retaining projection being continuously fixed to the scraping screen, and in that, with an existing connection, the container edge cannot be pushed into the screen receptacle up to its target position in the working position, but this is made possible after the connection has been severed.

Container according to claim 4, characterized in that the receptacle (34) has in its end region on the inside of the screen and/or in its central region a projection (39a, 39b) which projects into the receptacle (34) and which in the working position of the scraping screen (30) engages under a flange (6a) or protruding rim arranged on the outside of the container (1).
  6. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the retaining projection (35) has a stiffening at its rim region facing the receptacle (34) at the level of the scraping surface (32).
  7. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the lid (20) has a circumferential, U-shaped channel (21) which, when the lid (20) is fixed to the container (1), receives the upper edge (7) of the container and has, radially on the outside, a circumferential lid flange (21b) which slopes down towards the container base, in that regions projecting upwards from the upper side of the lid are arranged radially on the inside of the circumferential flange (21b), that securing projections (43) are arranged on the underside of the scraping screen, which can be arranged in the radial direction between the outer circumferential lid flange (21b) and the upwardly extending projecting regions in a manner stabilizing the arrangement of the scraping screen (30) in its transport position on the lid when a lateral force is exerted on the scarping screen so that the upwardly projecting regions of the lid at least partially project above the securing projections (43) of the scraping screen (30) in height.
  8. Container according to claim 7, characterized in that the circumferential U-shaped channel (21) of the lid (20) has a stepped shoulder and that the securing projections (43) of the scraping screen (30) in its transport position are supported on the stepped shoulder.
  9. Container according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the upwardly projecting regions (24) of the lid (20), which at least partially project above the securing projections (43) of the scraping screen (30) in height, are integrally formed on the circumferential U-shaped channel of the lid (20) or on the stepped shoulder.
  10. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the scraping screen (30) is at least partially or completely made of a clear transparent, opaque or translucent material.
  11. Container according to claim 10, characterized in that the scraping surface (32) of the scarping screen (30) consists at least partially or completely of a transparent material.
  12. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that mutually corresponding fastening projections of the scraping screen (30) and the lid (20) are arranged for releasably fixing them to one another radially on the inside of a profiled rim of the screen.
  13. Container according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the screen (30) is releasably secured to the lid (20) in its transport position by means of at least one or more fastening means (22, 42) under plastic deformation of the same.
