Claims (12)

  1. An applicator (2) for applying a product to the hair, notably a dyeing product, comprising:
    - a handle (5),
    - at least two first rows (12) of teeth (15) extending longitudinally over a distance l1 from a first application face (10) of the applicator (2),
    - a plurality of second rows (22) of teeth (25), this plurality extending longitudinally over a distance l2 from a second application face (20) of the applicator (2) that is situated on the opposite side from the first application face (10), the ratio l1 /l2 being less than or equal to 0.75, better still less than or equal to 0.6, the second rows of teeth (22) comprising:
    - at least two external rows (40) of teeth,
    - at least one internal row (50) of teeth disposed between the two external rows (40),
    the teeth (25) of the external rows (40) being more flexible than the teeth (25) of the internal rows (50), the first and the second application face (10, 20) having parallel longitudinal axes (P, Q),
    the handle (5) extending substantially along the axis (P) of the first application face (10) or the handle (5) being in the extension of the second application face (20),
    the first application face (10) being less wide than the second application face (20), the first and the second application face (10, 20) being parallel and separated by a distance of between 10 mm and 30 mm, at least the part of the applicator that bears the first and second application face (10, 20) having an overall T shape in cross-section.
  2. The applicator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first and the second application face (10, 20) are flat.
  3. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, which comprises at least three first rows of teeth (12), the first rows of teeth (12) preferably being parallel.
  4. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the teeth (15) of the first rows of teeth (12) are not aligned along an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (P) of the first application face (10) .
  5. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, which comprises at least three first rows (12) of teeth, the first row(s) (12) not being equidistant from one another.
  6. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the teeth (15) of the first rows (12) have a pyramid shape with a triangular base, the teeth of the outermost first rows (12a, 12c) having, notably, a ridge (30) that is oriented outward.
  7. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the teeth (15) of the first rows (12) each have a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the first application face (10).
  8. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the teeth (25) of the second rows (22) each have a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the second application face (20).
  9. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the teeth (15) of the first rows (12) are longer than the teeth (25) of the second rows (22), the ratio L2 /L1 being between 0.8 and 1, L1 being the length of the teeth (15) of the first rows (12) and L2 being the greatest length of the teeth (25) of the second rows (22).
  10. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, wherein the teeth (25) of the external rows (40) have a pyramid shape, notably with a triangular base, the teeth (25) of the external rows (40) having, notably, a ridge (45) that is oriented laterally outward.
  11. The applicator as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, the handle (5) being moulded with the rest of the applicator (2).
  12. A system for applying a product to the hair, notably a dyeing product, comprising an applicator (2) as claimed in any one of the preceding claims and a container (4) containing the product to be applied, the container (4) comprising a cannula (9) for depositing the product between the teeth (15; 25) of the applicator (2).
