Definitions
- the invention relates to a knitted net-like elastic material and a method for its production.
- Elastic net-like knit materials are often used to make safety nets in vehicles.
- luggage networks for example in the back of the front seat in cars, buses or planes and other means of transport, find this use.
- kayaks are used to attach luggage nets to secure kayaking equipment.
- Such networks are usually elastic. Frequently, however, they are so heavily loaded by an operator with equipment, objects or the like that the elastic threads in the net are stretched beyond their elastic limit. The elastic threads are then in the range of plastic deformation, which does not go back to the end of the load and thus the net quasi quenched.
- a knitted longitudinally elastic fabric web which can be used as elastic or permanently elastic support bandage.
- the object of the invention there is to provide a material which has a high wearing comfort and in which it does not come to constrictions and pressure points.
- elastic threads are processed in addition to inelastic threads.
- each elastic thread is looped by an inelastic thread to form an open or closed fringe.
- a disadvantage of this arrangement is that the elastic threads are constricted under tensile stress of the inelastic threads and so a mechanical stress of the elastic threads takes place, which can lead to long term damage and so to a crack of the elastic threads.
- U1 is a Verstaunetz for the loading or trunk of a car described.
- This consists of a sheet and comprises rubber cords, which consist of an elastomeric thread, which is braided or braided by an inelastic material.
- a festest confectioned network is described and not a flat material, which can be cut to size and processed.
- the inelastic threads that form the sheath around the elastomeric thread cut into this, since the coat does not stretch with. So here, too, the elastomeric thread is permanently damaged by the material of the shell and can tear.
- the DE 6 811 034 U be Mass-Assisted Microwave Treatment
- an elastic Tüllgewirk which consists of elastic and inelastic threads.
- the elastic threads, which are used here form no mesh
- the inelastic threads form the corresponding mesh.
- the elasticity of Tüllgewirks which is caused by the mesh-forming inelastic material, is so large that the elastic threads are deformed in their plastic region, so that the material can embrittle.
- Another elastic knit is in the DE 2 017 899 described. Again, elastic and inelastic threads are processed together.
- An object of the invention described therein is to use as little as possible of the expensive elastic material. Therefore, the elastic threads are guided relatively straight through the material. However, this leads to constrictions and mechanical stress of the elastic threads through the inelastic threads again, when the material undergoes an elongation or tensile stress. As a result, the aforementioned disadvantages can then occur again.
- the US 5,522,240 shows a knit in the form of a reinforcing strip for seating furniture, which includes elastic and inelastic threads. Some inelastic threads are intended to prevent the elastic Threads are claimed to the extent of their plastic deformation.
- the elastic threads and the inelastic threads controlling the deformation of the elastic threads are processed separately. While the elastic threads are being fed straight into the knit, the inelastic threads are such that they intersect the elastic threads at regular intervals. As a result, however, it can happen at a tensile stress that the elastic threads can be constricted by the inelastic threads and damaged.
- the object of the invention is therefore to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and to provide an elastic reticulated knitted material, which less quickly Ausleiert, since the elastic threads are not loaded beyond its elastic range and in which the elastic threads not even at a tensile stress of the material damaged by the inelastic threads.
- Another object of the invention is to provide a manufacturing method for the subject net-like elastic knitted material.
- one or two elastic threads run into the knitwear.
- one or more inelastic threads are also processed in the knitted fabric, namely parallel to the elastic threads and through the formation of loops.
- the elastic and the additional inelastic threads are processed on the same needle or guide bar.
- An elastic and an inelastic thread are then always guided together on a needle or guide bar and fed to the net-like knitted material. So it is particularly easy to process both additional threads over their respective complete length parallel to each other.
- the net-like knitted material can be stretched and the elasticity of the elastic threads can be utilized.
- the inelastic threads can only be stretched as far as the loops in which they were placed allow this. If the material present in the loops of the inelastic threads is stretched, further stretching of the netlike material can no longer take place. Thus, the maximum elongation of the net-like knitted elastic material is restricted.
- the point of maximum elongation of the net-like knitted material is chosen so that the elastic threads are indeed in the range of their elastic deformation in order not to limit the elasticity of the net-like material, but not the range of plastic deformation of the elastic threads is reached.
- the stretching of the net-like knitted elastic material in the area of the plastic deformation of the elastic threads is thus prevented. This also prevents premature leaching of the net-like material. Luggage and storage nets are therefore longer lasting and do not run out so fast.
- the inelastic threads that make up the matrix of the net-like material and / or the additional inelastic threads may consist of polypropylene, polyamide, polyester or some other inelastic plastic or natural fibers.
- polypropylene polypropylene
- polyamide polyamide
- polyester polyamide
- some other inelastic plastic or natural fibers polypropylene, polyamide, polyester or some other inelastic plastic or natural fibers.
- the material of the elastic threads may be an elastomer or natural rubber or consist of another rubber-elastic material. When choosing both materials, it is important that the materials are durable, durable and easy to process.
- the invention further provides a process for producing such reticulated knitted elastic materials.
- the preparation is carried out according to the invention either on a one-line or on a double-contour knitting machine. In both types of knitting machines it is possible to feed two threads on the same needle or guide bar. So always an elastic and an inelastic thread are processed simultaneously.
- the width of the loops of the additional inelastic thread can be changed.
- the desired maximum strain can be adjusted to prevent plastic deformation of the elastic material.
- the method is advantageously carried out on a warp knitting machine, since then the supply of elastic and inelastic threads can be particularly easily done and the production of the net-like knitted elastic material can be done faster and cheaper.
- the elastic and additional inelastic threads can be introduced via a separate needle or guide bar as a filler yarn in the matrix of the net-like knitted elastic material.
- a binding cartridge for the production of the net-like knitted elastic material 10 is shown on a double-ended knitting machine.
- In zigzag loops 21 runs a plurality of additional inelastic threads 20, which, however, are guided here with elastic threads 30 at the same time. However, this is not apparent in this form of presentation.
- the loops 21 of the additional inelastic threads 20 have a certain width.
- the matrix 11 of the reticulated material 10 is only so far stretchable until the additional inelastic threads 20 are maximally stretched. This depends on the width of the loops 21. By adjusting the width of the loops 21 and the mesh width of the additional inelastic threads 20, the limit of the elongation of the net-like material 10 can be fixed in total.
- the additional inelastic threads 20 may be made of the same material as the inelastic threads 12 forming the matrix 11 or of another material. The material selection depends on the respective application.
- Fig. 2 is shown very schematically and simplified the binding of the matrix 11 and an additional inelastic thread 20 and an additional elastic thread 30. It can be seen here that the additional inelastic thread 20 and the additional elastic thread 30 run parallel to one another.
- the loops of the matrix 11 are shown here only schematically and can also be connected to each other in other ways. Also, all of the inelastic threads 12 and the loops formed therefrom that make up the matrix 11 have the same thickness. However, this can vary depending on the application.
Description
The invention relates to a knitted net-like elastic material and a method for its production.
Elastic net-like knit materials are often used to make safety nets in vehicles. Also as luggage networks, for example in the back of the front seat in cars, buses or planes and other means of transport, find this use. Also, kayaks are used to attach luggage nets to secure kayaking equipment. Such networks are usually elastic. The object of the invention is therefore to avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and to provide an elastic reticulated knitted material, which less quickly Ausleiert, since the elastic threads are not loaded beyond its elastic range and in which the elastic threads not even at a tensile stress of the material damaged by the inelastic threads. Another object of the invention is to provide a manufacturing method for the subject net-like elastic knitted material. These objects are achieved by the characterizing features of claims 1 and 4, which have the following special significance.
When working the net-like elastic material so far one or two elastic threads run into the knitwear. This gives the net-like material in the first place a large part of its elastic properties. According to the invention, however, one or more inelastic threads are also processed in the knitted fabric, namely parallel to the elastic threads and through the formation of loops. Here, the elastic and the additional inelastic threads are processed on the same needle or guide bar. An elastic and an inelastic thread are then always guided together on a needle or guide bar and fed to the net-like knitted material. So it is particularly easy to process both additional threads over their respective complete length parallel to each other. As a result, the net-like knitted material can be stretched and the elasticity of the elastic threads can be utilized.
The inelastic threads, however, can only be stretched as far as the loops in which they were placed allow this. If the material present in the loops of the inelastic threads is stretched, further stretching of the netlike material can no longer take place. Thus, the maximum elongation of the net-like knitted elastic material is restricted. The point of maximum elongation of the net-like knitted material is chosen so that the elastic threads are indeed in the range of their elastic deformation in order not to limit the elasticity of the net-like material, but not the range of plastic deformation of the elastic threads is reached. The stretching of the net-like knitted elastic material in the area of the plastic deformation of the elastic threads is thus prevented. This also prevents premature leaching of the net-like material. Luggage and storage nets are therefore longer lasting and do not run out so fast.
The inelastic threads that make up the matrix of the net-like material and / or the additional inelastic threads may consist of polypropylene, polyamide, polyester or some other inelastic plastic or natural fibers. Here is a variety of materials conceivable.
The material of the elastic threads may be an elastomer or natural rubber or consist of another rubber-elastic material. When choosing both materials, it is important that the materials are durable, durable and easy to process.
The invention further provides a process for producing such reticulated knitted elastic materials. The preparation is carried out according to the invention either on a one-line or on a double-contour knitting machine. In both types of knitting machines it is possible to feed two threads on the same needle or guide bar. So always an elastic and an inelastic thread are processed simultaneously.
By allowing the additional elastic and inelastic threads and adjusting the fabric take-off, the width of the loops of the additional inelastic thread can be changed. Thus, for each material or matrix, the desired maximum strain can be adjusted to prevent plastic deformation of the elastic material.
The method is advantageously carried out on a warp knitting machine, since then the supply of elastic and inelastic threads can be particularly easily done and the production of the net-like knitted elastic material can be done faster and cheaper.
The elastic and additional inelastic threads can be introduced via a separate needle or guide bar as a filler yarn in the matrix of the net-like knitted elastic material.
