The pencil sharpener described above has the drawback of comprising a complex mechanism for setting the animation member in motion.
In addition, the animation member is animated regardless of the direction of rotation of the pencil in the reception opening, the animation is then simply decorative and does not help the child to use the size- pencil: there is no didactic function and even if the pencil is turned in the wrong direction, which means that the pencil cannot be sharpened, the animation organ still comes alive.
The object of the invention is to overcome all or part of the drawbacks of the prior art.

According to one characteristic of the invention, the setting in motion of the animation member is independent of the size of the pencil. Thus, when the animation organ is dysfunctional, the pencil sharpener can still fulfill its primary function of pruning.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the orifice of the member for setting in motion is positioned opposite the orifice for receiving the shell. Thus, the device for setting in motion is directly set in rotation by the inserted pencil.
According to one characteristic of the invention, a guide member is provided in the orifice of the member for setting in motion.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the guide member is made of elastomer. Thus, any shape of pencil can be inserted into the sharpener, the guide member makes it possible to interface with the orifice of the movement member.

Thus, to animate the
When the animation member 4 'according to the second embodiment is in the retracted position (not shown), the first portion 4'a of the animation member 4' is set back relative to the
To animate the animation member 4 ', one operates as described above for the
Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown in the appended figures. Modifications remain possible, in particular from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without thereby departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
