Description

Field of the invention

The invention relates to a case for a cosmetic product. Such cases include a base having one or more recesses for receiving cosmetic products and a cover which is connected to the base to close or open the case. Thus, when the cover is in the open position, the user has access to the recesses in the base.

State of the art

To increase the number of cosmetic products offered in the case, it is known to add an intermediate tray, serving as an interior drawer, between the base and the cover, as disclosed in the document. JP358190908U . This intermediate tray can accommodate cosmetic products, just like the base. It is configured to be hidden in the cover when the case is closed, and deployed relative to the cover when the case is opened so that it can simultaneously access all cosmetic products.

The manipulation of the cover causes the intermediate plate to move from one position to the other, via mechanical connections. To do this, the intermediate plate is generally rotatably mounted on the cover, for example via pins, and slides relative to the base, for example via tabs sliding in grooves or housings hollowed in the base.

Apart from the fact that the mounting of the plate is difficult within the housing, this construction has another major drawback. Indeed, given the existence of the mechanical connection between the plate and the base, the plate cannot be completely removed from the base, and therefore hides part of the interior recesses of the base. These recesses are therefore not accessible. The use of space in the base under the platform is very limited. In addition, the design of the different parts is relatively complicated since it must integrate the mechanical connections. This creates expensive and fragile molds.

Summary of the invention

The present invention aims to overcome the various drawbacks set out above, by means of a housing making it possible to offer, for external dimensions similar to those of a housing of the prior art, more interior space easily. accessible for cosmetic products, with a simplified design for all parts, and which also offers additional functionalities making it easier to open and close the case.

This object is achieved by means of a cosmetic product case as disclosed in claim 1.

The intermediate plate is thus movable between three successive positions: the retracted position, the deployed position, and the release position.

The main idea of this invention is to provide an intermediate tray which can accommodate cosmetic products, and which can be entirely released from the base so that the entire surface of the base is accessible and can accommodate cosmetic products. .

This therefore makes it possible to increase the storage capacity of cosmetic products in the case. This release position of the intermediate plate also allows access to almost the entire internal surface of the cover (except the area where the plate is fixed), which was not possible in the prior art. Indeed, it is for example possible to provide two different mirrors (one normal and the other with a magnifying effect) located on either side of the plate fixing area. These two mirrors then cover the entire internal surface of the cover, the mirror located below the fixing zone being accessible when the intermediate plate is in the release position.

Between the retracted position and the deployed position, the tray slides relative to the base, and rotates relative to the cover, as is known in the prior art. To promote this sliding movement and make it partially automatic when handling the cover, the housing includes means for assisting in opening and keeping the cover in the open position, as well as means for assisting in closing. and keeping the cover in the closed position.

Thus, when the user manually starts an opening movement of the case, the tray will automatically slide from its retracted position to its deployed position. Conversely, when the user manually starts a movement for closing the case, the tray will automatically slide from its deployed position to its retracted position. It is therefore an assisted sliding following a starting action initiated manually by the user.

Maintaining the open position is relatively practical, especially when the cover contains a mirror, since this allows the user to wear make-up in front of the mirror without having to hold the cover.

Said means for assisting in opening and keeping the lid in the open position, as well as said means for assisting in closing and keeping the lid in the closed position, are magnetic devices.

The sliding of the plate is therefore directed by magnetic attraction forces. The use of magnetic devices is particularly advantageous, because it is exempt from any bulky mechanical connection, difficult to implement, and subject to wear problems in particular, and therefore mechanical resistance over time. The construction of the tray and the base is thus more refined and simpler. Their assembly within the housing is also facilitated.

To be able to pass from the deployed position to the release position, the tray must be completely separate from the base after sliding. By using magnetic devices for sliding the tray, it is easy to manually break the magnetic attraction forces exerted between the tray and the base, in order to position the tray in the release position.

Concretely, each magnetic device comprises at least one part fixed to the intermediate plate, and at least one part fixed to the base, these two parts cooperating magnetically with each other depending on the position of the intermediate plate relative to the base. When the two parts come together following a manual action by the user, as soon as one enters the magnetic field of the other, it creates a magnetic attraction between the two parts which causes the tray to move automatically relative to the base.

For each magnetic device, at least one of said two parts is made of magnetic material. It is a magnet for example. The other part can also be made of magnetic material, or ferromagnetic material, or even metallic material.

For each magnetic device, said two parts are arranged on the same lateral side of the housing oriented perpendicular to the axes of rotation of the cover and the intermediate plate. The objective being that the pieces attract each other until they come to overlap one another, it is necessary that they are aligned on the same side.

In general, the base, the cover and the intermediate plate each have a rear part located in the vicinity of the axes of rotation of the cover and the intermediate plate, as well as a front part situated opposite the rear part. These terms “front” and “rear” are defined with respect to handling and nominal use of the housing, that is to say when the housing is closed and placed horizontally on a work surface, or in the hand of an user. The base is placed on the work surface or by hand, and the user views the closed housing cover as well as the "front" of the housing in general.

According to the invention, the magnetic device for assisting with the opening and for maintaining the cover in the open position comprises a first part arranged in the rear part of the base at a first lateral side of the housing and a second part arranged in the front part of the intermediate plate at the same first lateral side of the housing, the two parts being arranged so as to come to overlap one another in the open position of the cover. Thus, the two parts are sufficiently distant from each other in the closed position of the cover so that they are not attracted to each other. When the user begins to open the lid, the tray begins to slide and the second part begins to approach the first part, until one of them exerts its power of magnetic attraction on the other and automatically causes the sliding of the tray to continue without any manual action.

Said two parts of the magnetic device for assisting with the opening and for maintaining the lid in the open position consist of two magnets exerting a magnetic attraction force on each other. Since the force required to open the case is large, it is preferable that they are two magnets, thus having significant magnetic forces.

According to a first possible configuration, the magnetic device for assisting in closing and for maintaining the lid in the closed position comprises a first part disposed in the front part of the base at a second lateral side of the housing and a second part disposed in the rear part of the intermediate plate at the same second lateral side of the housing, the two parts being arranged so as to come to overlap one another in the closed position of the cover.

In this case, the first lateral side of the case is used for its opening, and the second lateral side is used for its closing. In the same way as previously, the two parts are sufficiently distant from each other in the open position of the cover so that they are not attracted to each other. When the user begins to close the lid, the tray begins to slide and the second part begins to approach the first part, until one of them exerts its power of magnetic attraction on the other and automatically causes the sliding of the tray to continue without any manual action.

Said two parts of the magnetic device for assisting in the closing and for keeping the lid in the closed position consist of two magnets exerting a magnetic attraction force on each other. Since the force necessary to ensure this closing function of the housing is lower than that necessary to ensure the opening function, it would also be possible to provide a magnet and a metal part instead of two magnets.

According to a second possible configuration, the magnetic device for assisting in closing and for maintaining the lid in the closed position comprises a first part disposed in the front part of the base at the first lateral side of the housing and a second part disposed in the front part of the intermediate plate at the same first lateral side of the housing, the two parts being arranged so as to come to overlap one another in the open position of the cover.

In this case, the first lateral side is used both for opening and for closing the case. The two magnetic devices are then placed on the same side, the other side being able to remain neutral. As explained above, when the user begins to close the lid, the tray begins to slide and the second part begins to approach the first part, until one of them exerts its power of magnetic attraction on the other and automatically involves the continuation of the sliding of the plate without any more manual action.

For this second configuration to work, in other words so that there is no interference between the two magnetic devices, it is necessary for the second part of the magnetic device to assist in closing and to maintain closed position of the cover is confused with the second part of the magnetic device for assisting in opening and for keeping the cover in the open position. There is therefore only one single piece in the tray acting successively with the two pieces contained in the base as a function of the actions of opening and closing the case.

Preferably, in the magnetic device for assisting in closing and for maintaining the lid in the closed position, the first part consists of a metal plate and the second part consists of a magnet capable of exerting a magnetic attraction force on said plate. metallic.

The cover 1 is movable relative to the base 2 between a closed position of the case, called the closed position, illustrated in figures 1, 6 and 10 , and an open position of the case, called the open position, illustrated in figures 3, 4 and 9 . The figures 2 and 5 show an intermediate position of the cover 1, when passing from the open position to the closed position (and vice versa) of the housing.

As stipulated above, the cover 1 is here rotatably mounted relative to the base 2. The pins 2c and the orifices 2e and 1b are located at the rear face of the housing, and the cover 1 thus rotates along an axis X directed parallel on the back side.

The cosmetic products 5,4 arranged in the base 2 and in the intermediate plate 3 are superimposed between them in the closed position of the cover 1. They are exposed and / or made accessible by a first manipulation of the cover 1 as illustrated in Figures 1 to 6 .

According to the invention, the housing is configured so as to expose and / or make accessible all of the cosmetic product 5 contained in the base 2 by a second manipulation of the intermediate plate 3.

During the first manipulation of the cover 1 illustrated on the Figures 1 to 3 , the latter goes from its closed position ( figure 1 ) at an intermediate position ( figure 2 ) then to its open position ( figure 3 ).

During this first manipulation, the cover 1 moves the intermediate plate 3 in movement from a retracted position in which it completely covers the cosmetic product 5 contained in the base 2 ( figure 1 ) in an extended position ( figure 3 ) in which it partially exposes and / or makes accessible the cosmetic product 5. In fact, the rear part of the cosmetic product 5 is not accessible and is hidden under the intermediate plate 3.

The intermediate plate 3 is here rotatably mounted relative to the cover 3, as previously stipulated, along an axis of rotation Y as illustrated in figure 4 . The Y axis is parallel to the X axis. The pins 3a are provided in the rear part of the intermediate plate and the lights are provided in the lateral sides of the cover, at a predefined distance D from the front face of the cover 1 This distance D is greater than the length L of the intermediate plate 3, that is to say the dimension of the plate 3 perpendicular to the axis Y, so that the plate 3 can be entirely stored within the cover. 1 when the case is closed.

It can be noted that the housing is here configured so that the cosmetic product 5 remains stationary during handling. In other words, when the intermediate plate 3 passes from its retracted position to its deployed position, the cosmetic product 5 does not move since the base 2 does not move.

In fact, the intermediate plate 3 is slidably mounted relative to the base 2 between the closed position and the open position of the cover 1. The intermediate plate 3 indeed slides during this first manipulation above the base 2 without l 'train in motion. More precisely, the front part of the plate 3 slides on the upper edges of the front, side and rear faces of the base 2.

Once in its first deployed position ( figure 3 ) the intermediate plate 3 is arranged to be taken away from the base 2 by pivoting about the axis Y, in particular by means of a second manipulation of the intermediate plate 3, so as to completely expose the cosmetic product 5 contained in the base 2. The intermediate plate 3 then finds itself in a release position as illustrated in figure 7 . In this case, the part of the mirror 6 located under the intermediate plate 3 also becomes accessible to the user.

The mirror 6 can be replaced by one or more other cosmetic articles.

To close the housing, the user first of all manipulates the intermediate plate 3 in the opposite direction so that it returns to the deployed position, then manipulates the cover 1 also in the opposite direction so that the intermediate plate 3 slides again along the base 2 to the retracted position.

So that the front part of the intermediate plate 3 remains pressed against the upper edges of the base 2 during its sliding, magnetic devices are integrated in the housing.

These magnetized devices systematically comprise a part in the intermediate plate 3, and a part in the base 2, the two parts cooperating with each other by magnetic attraction, so that the plate 3 is attracted magnetically by the base 2 or vice versa. Thus, during sliding, the plate 3 will always tend to remain pressed against the base 1.

The specific arrangement of these magnetized parts also makes it possible to assist in the opening and closing of the cover 1, and to maintain the latter in the open or closed position.

More concretely, the housing of the invention comprises two magnetic devices. A first device is used to assist in opening the case and keeping it in the open position, and a second device is used to assist in closing the case and keeping it in the closed position.

A first embodiment of the invention is illustrated on the Figures 1 to 7 , and a second embodiment is illustrated on the Figures 8 to 12 . The two housing configurations according to the invention differ only in the position of the magnetized parts in the housing. The structure of the housing remains the same.

According to the first possible embodiment of the invention, the first magnetic device is composed of a first part 11 arranged in the rear part of the base 2, and of a second part 12 arranged in the front part of the plate 3, the two parts 11,12 being located at a lateral side 8 of the case, and visible to figures 4 to 6 .

So when the case is closed ( figure 6 ), the two parts 11,12 are distant from each other. When the user begins to open the cover, the part 12 approaches the part 11 until they attract each other ( figure 5 ). The front part of the plate 3 therefore remains firmly pressed against the base 2 because the part 12 is attracted by the part 11, and this until the two parts 11,12 are superimposed ( figure 4 ). Enter here figure 5 and the figure 4 , the user no longer needs to manipulate the cover to complete the opening, it is the force of attraction between the parts 11, 12 which causes the movement of the cover 1 towards the open position. The opening is therefore assisted by the parts 11 and 12. The cover 1 is then held in the open position thanks to the two superimposed parts 11, 12.

The user can manually break this magnetic attraction to raise the plate 3 to its release position as illustrated in figure 7 .

The second magnetic device is composed of a first part 9 arranged in the front part of the base 2, and a second part 10 arranged in the rear part of the plate 3, the two parts 9, 10 being located at another lateral side 7 of the housing, and visible to Figures 1 to 3 .

So when the case is opened ( figure 3 ), the two parts 9,10 are distant from each other. When the user begins to close the cover, the part 10 approaches the part 9 until they attract each other ( figure 2 ), which has the effect of causing the displacement of the cover 1 without further intervention on the part of the user. The cover 1 then closed, the two parts 9, 10 are superimposed ( figure 1 ). The closure is therefore assisted by the parts 9 and 10. The cover 1 is then held in the closed position thanks to the two superimposed parts 11, 12.

The parts 9, 10, 11, 12 are for example all magnets which attract two by two on the same lateral side of the case.

According to a second embodiment of the invention, it is possible to simplify these magnetic devices by combining them.

Thus, as before, the first magnetic device is composed of a first part 11 arranged in the rear part of the base 2, and of a second part 12 disposed in the front part of the plate 3, the two parts 11,12 being located at a lateral side 8 of the housing, and visible to figures 8 to 10 .

By cons, the second magnetic device is composed of a first part 13 disposed in the front part of the base 2, and cooperates with the second part 12 disposed in the front part of the plate 3, the two parts 13,12 being located at level on the same lateral side 8 of the housing.

In this case, there are only three parts 11, 12, 13 for the two magnetic devices, a part 12 being common to the two devices, and all the parts 11, 12, 13 being located on the same lateral side 8. L the other side 7 may contain the same configuration of parts, or may contain nothing at all and therefore be free from any magnetic effect.

The common part 12 is attracted by the part 13 for closing the case, and is attracted by the part 11 for the opening of the case. She is therefore drawn in turn to the two parts 13,11 contained in base 2.

To avoid any magnetic interference and clearly delimit the forces of attraction as a function of the positions of the plate 3, it is advantageous to provide different materials for the three parts1 1,12,13.

More precisely, since the force necessary to open the housing is greater than the force necessary to close the housing, the two parts 11 and 12 will preferably be magnets having a great power of attraction towards each other .

Since the closure requires less force, the part 13 will be made of metallic or ferromagnetic material, and will consist, for example, of a metallic plate. Thus, the part 12 will generally be less attracted to the part 13 than the part 11, which will facilitate opening while assisting the closing.

The parts 11, 12, 13 are better represented in figure 11 . These are relatively thin plates arranged vertically, in the direction of their length, along the lateral sides of the boxes, and fixed in housings provided for this purpose.

Parts 9 and 10 also consist of plates of the same type.

With regard to the description above, the optimal dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, including variations in size, materials, shapes, function and modes of operation, assembly and use , are considered to be apparent and obvious to those skilled in the art, and all relationships equivalent to that illustrated in the drawings and that described in the specification are intended to be included in the present invention.

Claims (12)

1. Case for cosmetic product, comprising:

   - a base (2) housing at least one cosmetic item (5);

   - a cover (1) mounted on the base (2) in a rotating manner, and being mobile between a closing position of the case, termed closed position, and an opening position of the case, termed open position;

   - an intermediate plate (3) housing at least one cosmetic item (4), mounted on the cover (1) in a rotating manner and arranged between the base (2) and the cover (1), said plate (3) being mobile between a retracted position where it covers the base (2) when the cover (1) is closed and a deployed position where it is recessed with respect to the base (2) when the cover (1) is open so as to make the cosmetic item at least partially accessible from the base (2), the plate (3) passing from the retracted position thereof to the deployed position thereof by a handling of the cover (1), the intermediate plate (3) also being mobile in rotation between said deployed position and a clearing position where it is brought to a distance from the base (2) so as to expose and/or make all of the surface area of the base (2) accessible,
   characterised in that the case comprises means for assisting with the opening and with holding the cover (1) in an open position, as well as means for assisting with the closing and with holding the cover (1) in a closed position, consisting of magnetic devices.

Case according to claim 1, characterised in that each magnetic device comprises at least one part fixed to the intermediate plate (3), and at least one part fixed to the base (2), these two parts engaging magnetically with one another according to the position of the intermediate plate (3) with respect to the base (2).
3. Case according to claim 2, characterised in that, for each magnetic device, at least one of said two parts is made of magnetic material.
4. Case according to claim 3, characterised in that, for each magnetic device, said two parts are arranged on the same lateral side of the case oriented perpendicularly to the axes of rotation (X, Y) of the cover (1) and of the intermediate plate (3).

Case according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the base (2) and the intermediate plate (3) each have a rear portion situated in the vicinity of the axes of rotation (X, Y) of the cover (1) and of the intermediate plate (3), as well as a front portion situated opposite the rear portion.

Case according to claim 1 taken in combination with claim 5, characterised in that the magnetic device for assisting with the opening and with holding the cover (1) in an open position comprises a first part (11) arranged in the rear portion of the base (2) at the level of a first lateral side (8) of the case and a second part (12) arranged in the front portion of the intermediate plate (3) at the level of the same first lateral side (8) of the case, the two parts (11, 12) being arranged so as to be superposed against one another in an open position of the cover (1).
7. Case according to claim 6, characterised in that said two parts (11, 12) of the magnetic device for assisting with the opening and with holding the cover (1) in an open position consist of two magnets exerting a magnetic attraction force on one another.

Case according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the magnetic device for assisting with the closing and with holding the cover (1) in a closed position comprises a first part (9) arranged in the front portion of the base (2) at the level of a second lateral side (7) of the case and a second part (10) arranged in the rear portion of the intermediate plate (3) at the level of the same second lateral side (7) of the case, the two parts (9, 10) being arranged so as to be superposed against one another in the closed position of the cover (1).
9. Case according to claim 8, characterised in that said two parts (9, 10) of the magnetic device for assisting with the closing and with holding the cover (1) in a closed position consist of two magnets exerting a magnetic attraction force on one another.

Case according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the magnetic device for assisting with the closing and with holding the cover (1) in a closed position comprises a first part (13) arranged in the front portion of the base (2) at the level of the first lateral side (8) of the case and a second part (12) arranged in the front portion of the intermediate plate (3) at the level of the same first lateral side (8) of the case, the two parts (13, 12) being arranged so as to be superposed against one another in an open position of the cover (1).
11. Case according to claim 10, characterised in that the second part (12) of the magnetic device for assisting with the closing and with holding the cover (1) in a closed position is coincident with the second part (12) of the magnetic device for assisting with the opening and with holding the cover (1) in an open position.
12. Case according to claim 11, characterised in that, in the magnetic device for assisting with the closing and with holding the cover (1) in a closed position, the first part (13) consists of a metal plate and the second part (12) consists of a magnet capable of exerting a magnetic attraction force on said metal plate.
