- A device for a spinning preparation machine, e.g. a carding machine, a roller card, a cleaner, a combing machine or the like, wherein the device comprises at least one carding element (24), which, in the installed condition, is disposed at a distance opposite a clothed roll and extends across the entire width of the roll, wherein the device comprises a longitudinal carrying body (14), which includes a foot part (14b) and a back part (14a), wherein a clothing (18) is attachable to the foot part of the carrying body by means of a non-positive connection and in which clothing is present at least one hollow space (14c; 27; 41) for generating the non-positive connection, characterized in that the hollow space (14c; 27; 41) is under negative pressure and the non-positive connection between the carrying body (a4; 14b) and the clothing (24, 25) is realized by means of negative pressure, wherein at least one seal is provided between the hollow space (14c; 27; 41) and the clothing (24, 25) or the carrying body (14, 14b).
- The device according to claim 1, characterized in that the seal is a sealing element (30; 40; 42) or is realized without a separate sealing element (30; 40; 42).
- The device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the negative pressure exerts a traction force on the clothing or on the carrying body.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow space is associated to the carrying body and/or provided in, respectively incorporated into the carrying body.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow space is associated to a retaining element for the clothing, e.g. a clothing strip, cassette, and/or is provided in, respectively incorporated into the retaining element.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that a rubber insert with openings, respectively pockets, is bonded to the profile of the carrying body, wherein the carrier profile is formed such that it has hollow compartments along the longitudinal axis.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that a first hollow space forms a negative pressure compartment, and a second hollow space is formed by means of a plurality of continuous openings, e.g. bores, millings or the like, or a channel or the like with continuous openings, which allow for the negative pressure effect.
- The device according to claim 7, characterized in that an indicator element is associated to the negative pressure compartment, which brings to the display the pressure change in the negative pressure compartment.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least two hollow spaces are provided, which are connected to each other by means of a channel or the like at the front side of the carrying body via negative pressure.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow space includes a slot-shaped opening along the length of the carrying body and/or of the retaining element for the clothing.
- The device according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that a valve, e.g. an air valve, is connected to the at least one hollow space.
- The device according to claim 11, characterized in that the valve is connectable to a suction source, e.g. a vacuum pump.
- The device according to claim 11 or 12, characterized in that the valve allows for compensating the pressure difference between the negative pressure in the hollow body and the atmospheric pressure.
