Die Kraft, die zur Verlagerung der kompletten Dämpfereinheit 27 aufgewendet werden muss ist hierbei geringer, als diejenige, die zur Verschiebung des Dämpfergehäuses 45 bezüglich der Dämpferkolbenanordnung 42 benötigt wird.   1. Damping device for damping the opening movement of a movable furniture part (12), with a stationary base unit (13) which has a furniture carcass of a piece of furniture, and a movable base unit (14) which has the movable furniture part (12), wherein the movable base unit (14) is mounted movably relative to the stationary base unit (13), and with a damper unit (27) which has first and second damper components (30, 31), movable relative to one another to perform a damping function, of which the first damper component (30) is mounted on the one base unit (13, 14) wherein, when the movable base unit (14) approaches its end position an impact takes place between the second damper component (31) and the other base unit (13, 14), wherein the first damper component (30) is movably mounted on a holder (26), fastened to the assigned base unit (13, 14) and having stop means (39), in such a way that it may be displaced on impact from a standby position (32) into a working position (33) supported by the stop means (39), in which the damping function may be executed, wherein the base unit (13, 14) not assigned to the first damper component (30) has a driving element (46) which, on opening, displaces the first damper component (30) from the standby position (32) into the working position (33), by means of the driving element (46) striking the second damper component (31) and displacing the latter together with the first damper component (30), wherein the latter is displaced from the standby position (32) into the working position (33).
  2. Damping device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the first damper component (30) is mounted on the stationary base unit (13).
  3. Damping device according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the driving element (46) triggers the damping function.
  4. Damping device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the driving element (46) in the working position (33) of the first damper component (30) moves the second damper component (31) relative to the first damper component (30).
  5. Damping device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the damper unit (27) is in the form of a linear damper with damper components capable of linear movement towards one another to trigger the damping function, or as a rotation damper with damper components capable of rotary movement towards one another to trigger the damping function.
  6. Damping device according to any of the preceding claims, characterised by resetting means for resetting the first damper component (30) from the working position into the standby position (33, 32).
  7. Damping device according to claim 6, characterised in that the resetting means have at least one spring element, the spring force of which resets the first damper component (30) into the standby position (32) as soon as the base unit (13, 14) not assigned to the first damper component (30) is out of contact with the first damper component (30).
  8. Damping device according to claim 6 or 7, characterised in that the resetting means include a function section of the base unit (13) not assigned to the first damper component (30) which, on closing, displaces the first damper component (30) into the standby position (32).
  9. Piece of furniture with at least one movable furniture part, in particular a drawer, characterised by a damping device (11) according to any of claims 1 to 8.
