Das Verfahren dient demzufolge vorrangig der Herstellung einer Fassade, bei der stein- oder plattenförmige Fassadenelemente vorgegebener Abmessungen unter Ausbildung von Fugen an eine Gebäudewand oder -decke anzubringen sind.   1.   3. The method as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2,
    characterized in that the spacer element (1) the end of which has been aligned over the end point of the section is temporarily fixed in position using a fixing means (9).
  4. A device for carrying out the method as claimed in one of claims 1 to 3, comprising at least two spacer elements (1) which are connected by means of at least one elastic element (2), so that a distance (a) between the spacer elements (1) can be adjusted in a variable manner by the application of a tensile force,
    characterized in that the spacer elements (1) are connected in a row by means of at least one elastic element (2) in a manner such that in the non-tensioned state of the device, they lie directly adjacent to each other, and wherein a dimension (b) of the spacer elements (1) in the longitudinal direction of the device corresponds to a panel or brick format, for example DF or NF.
  5. The device as claimed in claim 4,
    characterized in that the elastic element (2) is connected at its opposite ends to a respective spacer element (1) and/or to a plurality of spacer elements (1) in at least a segment between these ends, wherein preferably, the connection is releasable, so that the spacer elements (1) can be displaced and/or removed.
  6. The device as claimed in claim 4 or claim 5,
    characterized in that the spacer elements (1) respectively have a recess (3) or opening in order to receive the elastic element (2), wherein preferably, the spacer elements (1) are configured as flat tubular segments or as C-shaped profiled segments.
  7. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 6,
    characterized in that the elastic element (2) is an elastic support strip on which the spacer elements (1) are fastened in a row.
  8. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 7,
    characterized in that the length of the device is 50 to 250 cm.
  9. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 8,
    characterized in that an abutment edge (5) and/or a fastening element (6), in particular a fastening spike, is formed on at least one end of the device, preferably on a gripping portion (4).
  10. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 9,
    characterized in that the device comprises a means (7) for checking the horizontal and/or vertical position, in particular a spirit level.
  11. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 10,
    characterized in that the device comprises a rail (8) on which the spacer elements (1) and/or a gripping portion (4) are mounted so as to be displaceable in the longitudinal direction.
  12. The device as claimed in one of claims 4 to 11,
    characterized in that the device comprises at least one fixing means (9) for temporarily fixing a spacer element (1) and/or a gripping portion (4) in position, wherein the fixing means (9) is in particular a screw, a pin and/or a nut which can be brought into engagement with a recess (10) of the rail (8).
