- Powdered products are often dosed from a large bulk to single portions and packaged in sealed containers.
- washing powder or dishwasher powder which are packaged in the form of single-use portions in water-soluble plastic bags.
- a film web is first deep-drawn in such a way that a matrix of individual cavities and flat surface sections lying therebetween is produced.
- a cover sheet is sealed, which also consists of a water-soluble material in the example mentioned. In the sealed state, individual containers or individual portions are then cut out of the initially still continuous web.
- the invention has the object of developing a generic filling and sealing system such that the reliability of the sealing of the filled with the powder product container bottom parts is improved.
- a cleaning station for the sealing surfaces of the container bases is arranged between the filling station and the sealing station, wherein the cleaning station comprises an adhesive adhesive roller designed for unrolling on the sealing surfaces and a cleaning device acting on the adhesive roller.
- the rolling of the adhesive bonding roll on the sealing surfaces causes existing powder deposits to stick to the bonding roll and consequently be removed from the sealing surfaces.
- the still existing cleaning device in turn causes at least a portion of the received powder particles is removed from the adhesive roll. This ensures that at least the greater part of the powder particles previously taken up is not returned to the sealing surfaces in the course of one rotation of the adhesive roll.
- the cleaning device preferably comprises a cleaning roller, which extends along the adhesive roller and rolls on the adhesive roller Suction nozzle and / or a doctor blade, wherein the suction nozzle or the doctor blade respectively along the adhesive roll and / or along the cleaning roller extends.
- the three preferred embodiments mentioned ensure such cleaning of the adhesive roller and possibly also of the cleaning roller that the adhesive roller does not cumulate the particles received by the sealing surface and does not lead back to the sealing surfaces.
- the seaming roll can remain in use for almost any length of time without requiring such maintenance and repair work that interrupt the ongoing production process.
- the abovementioned elements of the cleaning device are arranged in a certain relative position to one another.
- the doctor blade is arranged in the suction region of the suction nozzle and in particular formed by a longitudinal edge of the suction nozzle. In this way, it is ensured that the particles are first detached from the adhesive roll by means of the doctor blade and then sucked off immediately at the point of release, so that a carry-over of the particles can not take place. - the adhesive roll is provided with a first adhesive surface material while the cleaning roller is provided with a second adhesive surface material.
- the material properties of the first and the second surface material are coordinated with each other such that the adhesion force of the second surface material is greater than the adhesion force of the first surface material.
- the adhesive force of the adhesive roll initially causes a reliable uptake of the powder particles from the sealing surfaces of the container bases, while the second, larger adhesion force in turn ensures reliable acceptance of said particles from the adhesive roll.
- differently conditioned synthetic rubber materials have proven to be expedient for the two surface materials, in each case with regard to the adhesion force.
- the strength of the respective adhesion effect can be for this Specify a safe function precisely and maintain it at the desired size over a long period of time. If required, cleaning can be repeated as often as desired without damaging the adhesive forces.
- the cleaning roller is arranged behind the suction nozzle, and in particular behind the doctor blade, with respect to a working direction of rotation of the adhesive roller. This ensures that first of all the larger part of the particles and in particular particles with a larger diameter are doctored off or sucked off.
- the downstream cleaning roller only has to absorb such remaining small amounts with a comparatively small particle diameter from the adhesive roller, which could not be doctored off or sucked off. As a result, the capacity of the downstream cleaning roller is maintained over a long period of operation.
- the cleaning device comprises an adjusting device for lifting and pressing the cleaning roller from or to the locking roller.
- the cleaning station also comprises a lifting device for lifting and lowering the adhesive roller from or onto the sealing surfaces.
- the cleaning roller is lifted off the locking roller.
- the locking roller can be lifted off the sealing surfaces.
- the cleaning rollers and / or the locking roller can be moved back to its pressed-operating position.

- the material properties of the first and second surface materials 14, 15 are coordinated with each other such that the adhesion force of the second surface material 15 of the cleaning roller 12 is greater than the adhesion force of the first surface material 14 of the adhesive roller 9.
- the two surface materials 14, 15 in each case one with respect to the adhesion differently conditioned synthetic rubber.
- the cleaning roller 12 is part of a cleaning device acting on the adhesive roller 9, wherein this cleaning device moreover also comprises a suction nozzle 10 and a doctor blade 11.
- the suction nozzle 10 is formed by two parallel to each other arranged profile strips in the form of a slot nozzle and extends along the entire axial length of the locking roller 9.
- the suction nozzle 10 is flow-connected to the suction channel 21, which in turn is provided with a number of suction ports 22. About the suction channel 21 and the suction ports 22, the suction nozzle 10 is connectable to a vacuum source, not shown. In the operating position shown, the suction nozzle 10 is moved up from above directly to the surface of the locking roller 9.
- the rear longitudinal edge of the suction nozzle 10 relative to the working direction of rotation 13 protrudes further downwards relative to the front edge by a defined amount.
- This rear longitudinal edge extends axially parallel to the locking roller 9 and stands with a defined force on the surface thereof. Since the said rear longitudinal edge of the suction nozzle 10 is held stationary, and since the surface of the rotating adhesive roller 9 slides along under pressing prestressing force, the doctor blade 11 is formed by said rear longitudinal edge of the suction nozzle 10.
- the suction nozzle 10 is located with respect to the working direction 13 immediately before the doctor blade 11.
- a second suction nozzle 10 'and a second doctor blade 11' are provided, both of which extend along the cleaning roller 12, and wherein the second doctor blade 11 'axially parallel gets up on the surface of the cleaning roller 12 and slides on it.
- the second suction nozzle 10 ' is in flow-conducting communication with the second suction channel 21 and the second suction connections 22'. Only the relative arrangement of suction nozzle 10 'and doctor blade 11' is compared to the relative arrangement of suction nozzle 10 and doctor blade 11 mirrored to the opposite direction of work 13 'account, so so here the second suction nozzle 10' based on the second working direction 13 'is positioned in front of the second doctor blade 11'. Overall, comparable conditions with comparable functionality are thus created here.
- the locking roller 9 rolls on the sealing surfaces 6 of the container lower parts 5. Any existing powder deposits there are due to the adhesive force of the adhesive surface material 14 of the adhesive roller 9 removed from the sealing surfaces 6, since these deposits stick to the surface of the locking roller 9.
- the particles received by the sealing surface 6 follow with the adhesive roller 9 of working direction 13 up to the structural unit of doctor blade 9 and suction nozzle 10.
- the larger part of the transported particles is scraped off from the surface of the adhesive roller 9 by means of the doctor blade 11 and then directly by means of the suction nozzle 10 aspirated.
- the sucked particles pass through the suction channel 21 and the suction ports 22 due to the acting suction air flow to a suitable destination, where they are deposited and disposed of in a manner not shown.
- a cyclone separator can be used for the separation.
- the cleaned suction air can be returned to the production area.
- the cleaning roller 12 is provided and positioned with respect to the working direction of rotation 13 behind the suction nozzle 10 and behind the doctor blade 11. It has already been pointed out above that the adhesive forces of the cleaning roller 12 acting on remnants of the powder product 8 are greater than the corresponding adhesive forces of the adhesive roller 9. This ensures that the cleaning roller 12 at least approximately completely completes the residual quantities of the powder product 8 adhering to the adhesive roller 9 takes over.
- the cleaning roller 12 is in turn cleaned by means of the second suction nozzle 10 'and / or the second doctor blade 11' analogous to the operation of the first suction nozzle 10 and the first scraper blade 11.
- the surface of the locking roller 9 is thereby at least approximately completely clean, relative to the working direction of rotation 13 behind the cleaning roller 12, and can therefore again take over the cleaning of the sealing surfaces 6 in accordance with the above procedure.
- the above-described cleaning device comprises only schematically indicated adjusting device 16 for lifting the cleaning roller 12 of the locking roller 9 and for pressing the cleaning roller 12 to the locking roller 9.
- Fig. 3 is different from Fig. 4 shown a rest position of the arrangement in which the cleaning roller 12 is lifted from the locking roller 9 and positioned at a certain distance thereto. When the filling and sealing system is at a standstill, this ensures that the cleaning roller 12 does not stick to the adhesive roller 9.
- the cleaning roller 12 can be placed by means of the adjusting device 16 according to an arrow 23 on the surface of the locking roller 9 with a defined contact force.
- the cleaning station 3 comprises a lifting device 17 for lifting the adhesive roller 9 from the sealing surfaces 6, as in the rest position after Fig. 3 is shown, and also for lowering the locking roller 9 on the sealing surfaces 6 according to the operating position Fig. 4 ,
- an upper part 24 is provided, on which the locking roller 9 and the above-described cleaning device for this locking roller 9 are mounted.
- the upper part 24 is by means of a lifting device 17 relative to a lower part in the rest position Fig. 3 liftable or in the operating position after Fig. 4 lowered.

Description
The invention relates to a filling and sealing system for the production of filled with a powder product containers having the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
Einzelportionen ausgeschnitten.Powdered products are often dosed from a large bulk to single portions and packaged in sealed containers. As an example may be mentioned washing powder or dishwasher powder, which are packaged in the form of single-use portions in water-soluble plastic bags. For this purpose, a film web is first deep-drawn in such a way that a matrix of individual cavities and flat surface sections lying therebetween is produced. Each individual cavity or a group of several cavities, including the associated circumferential flat edge, each form a container lower part, said container lower parts initially still being connected. At least part of the cavities are then filled with the powder product. On the aforementioned circumferential flat edges then a cover sheet is sealed, which also consists of a water-soluble material in the example mentioned. In the sealed state, individual containers or individual portions are then cut out of the initially still continuous web.
There is a pronounced interest in accommodating a certain filling quantity of the powder product in a container which is as small as possible, which is accompanied by the requirement for a filling of the respective cavity which is as full as possible. However, a full filling is difficult and at most to be achieved in a more or less successful approach. It can not be excluded that small quantities enter the powder product to be filled on the sealing surfaces. Such contamination of the sealing surfaces reduces the quality of the seal. It can lead to leaks as well as damage to the floor and / or cover sheet.
The invention has the object of developing a generic filling and sealing system such that the reliability of the sealing of the filled with the powder product container bottom parts is improved.
This object is achieved by a filling and sealing system with the features of claim 1.
According to the invention, it is provided that a cleaning station for the sealing surfaces of the container bases is arranged between the filling station and the sealing station, wherein the cleaning station comprises an adhesive adhesive roller designed for unrolling on the sealing surfaces and a cleaning device acting on the adhesive roller. The rolling of the adhesive bonding roll on the sealing surfaces causes existing powder deposits to stick to the bonding roll and consequently be removed from the sealing surfaces. The still existing cleaning device in turn causes at least a portion of the received powder particles is removed from the adhesive roll. This ensures that at least the greater part of the powder particles previously taken up is not returned to the sealing surfaces in the course of one rotation of the adhesive roll. Through a simple unwinding process, which can be carried out continuously, a reliable cleaning of the sealing surfaces of powder deposits can be achieved, so that the subsequent sealing process undergoes no impairment. When filling the container bases, the maximum possible degree of filling can be at least approximately fully utilized, without having to take special considerations on hereby associated powder deposits on the sealing surfaces.
For the cleaning of the adhesive roll, various devices may be used alone or in combination. The cleaning device preferably comprises a cleaning roller, which extends along the adhesive roller and rolls on the adhesive roller Suction nozzle and / or a doctor blade, wherein the suction nozzle or the doctor blade respectively along the adhesive roll and / or along the cleaning roller extends. Taken alone or in a suitable combination, the three preferred embodiments mentioned ensure such cleaning of the adhesive roller and possibly also of the cleaning roller that the adhesive roller does not cumulate the particles received by the sealing surface and does not lead back to the sealing surfaces. The seaming roll can remain in use for almost any length of time without requiring such maintenance and repair work that interrupt the ongoing production process.
Preferably, however, the abovementioned elements of the cleaning device are arranged in a certain relative position to one another. Suitably, the doctor blade is arranged in the suction region of the suction nozzle and in particular formed by a longitudinal edge of the suction nozzle. In this way, it is ensured that the particles are first detached from the adhesive roll by means of the doctor blade and then sucked off immediately at the point of release, so that a carry-over of the particles can not take place. Abstreifrakel and suction nozzle complement each other in their effect.
Preferably, the adhesive roll is provided with a first adhesive surface material while the cleaning roller is provided with a second adhesive surface material. Here, the material properties of the first and the second surface material are coordinated with each other such that the adhesion force of the second surface material is greater than the adhesion force of the first surface material. The adhesive force of the adhesive roll initially causes a reliable uptake of the powder particles from the sealing surfaces of the container bases, while the second, larger adhesion force in turn ensures reliable acceptance of said particles from the adhesive roll. For the achievement of defined adhesion forces acting on the powder particles, differently conditioned synthetic rubber materials have proven to be expedient for the two surface materials, in each case with regard to the adhesion force. The strength of the respective adhesion effect can be for this Specify a safe function precisely and maintain it at the desired size over a long period of time. If required, cleaning can be repeated as often as desired without damaging the adhesive forces.
In a preferred embodiment, the cleaning roller is arranged behind the suction nozzle, and in particular behind the doctor blade, with respect to a working direction of rotation of the adhesive roller. This ensures that first of all the larger part of the particles and in particular particles with a larger diameter are doctored off or sucked off. The downstream cleaning roller only has to absorb such remaining small amounts with a comparatively small particle diameter from the adhesive roller, which could not be doctored off or sucked off. As a result, the capacity of the downstream cleaning roller is maintained over a long period of operation.
In a preferred embodiment, the cleaning device comprises an adjusting device for lifting and pressing the cleaning roller from or to the locking roller. Advantageously, the cleaning station also comprises a lifting device for lifting and lowering the adhesive roller from or onto the sealing surfaces. In the case of machine downtime, the cleaning roller is lifted off the locking roller. In addition, the locking roller can be lifted off the sealing surfaces. When resuming operation, the cleaning rollers and / or the locking roller can be moved back to its pressed-operating position. In the case of machine downtime, it is ensured that the cleaning roller does not stick to the adhesive roller. Analogously, it is also ensured that the adhesive roll does not stick to the sealing surfaces.

Based on the

For this purpose and for reasons which will be explained in more detail below, the
The cleaning
During operation, as already described above, the locking
However, it can not be ruled out that, in spite of the scribing and suction, according to the above description, further, albeit small residual amounts of powder remain adhering to the surface of the
In the illustrated embodiment, said lower part is still formed by a pair of
