Abstract
The present invention relates to a pedestal unit for parking a cane walking aid, in particular, which are handled with an arm in the form of a walking stick, a Unterarmgehstütze, an armpit crutch or a walking stick. The complete pedestal unit (1) is mounted on the existing floor walking aid tube without any changes being made to it. With a Standgleitfuß (2), which by a compression spring (5) via a Hubbegrenzer above (6) presses the compression spring (5) with preset spring force against the Standgleitfuß (2), thereby ensuring the secure support of Standgleitfußfläche on the ground. By Hubbegrenzer bottom (3) the stroke area is limited in the direction of the footprint on the bottom side. The stroke limiters at the top and bottom are fixed with grub screws (7) in the appropriate position. By placing the walker (9) when used from the vertical, the Standgleitfuß (2) automatically rises with each movement with a barely noticeable to the user minimal effort. Thus, when using cane walking aids, the functions, especially the unwindability and stiction, are fully retained at the diameter of the canopy (10) during walking. A safer putting on the canopy (10) is thus guaranteed with every walking movement. If the user releases the walker (9) in a vertical position with a certain tolerance range from the vertical axis of the walking aid, it remains standing independently by the spring force-prestressed base unit (1).
Description
The invention relates to a stand unit for walking sticks for independent free standing in vertical axis alignment Aufstandsfäche this, to allow.
Walking aids are walking aids that are handled with one arm, in the form of a cane, crutches, crutches or walking sticks (hereinafter referred to as walkers).
These walking aids are widely used, especially for people with walking difficulties or those affected by illness or old age who depend on them. Often, however, is recognized as a disadvantage that they do not have the property to remain independent if necessary or easier than until now, to be able to be turned off.
Since the footprint on the canopy on the walking stick base is too small because of the necessary Abrollfähigkeit the diameter, the walker can not be parked without aids. People who rely on one or two walking aids have constant problems stopping these walking aids without them falling over. As a rule, however, these persons are handicapped in such a way that they can not be picked up from the ground without aids
not or only possible with difficulty.
Already well-known and available on the market solutions to this problem are generally walkers with an enlarged footprint (eg four-leg walker). These guarantee a high stability at maximum load and are primarily suitable for people who have a strong gear uncertainty and therefore require a particularly secure grip. However, this solution has the decisive disadvantage that they require a significantly higher space requirement, are only suitable for climbing stairs and have a high weight. Another disadvantage of walking sticks with a large footprint forms the risk of tripping by far outstanding support feet. Another serious disadvantage is the high weight.
There are known a variety of devices that allow the self-standing of walking aids. Predominantly be brought by suitable mechanical devices more supports if needed for use.
