Description

The invention relates to a tensioning device for releasably holding a mask, in particular a respirator, to a helmet, in particular a protective helmet, such as e.g. a fire helmet. The tensioning device has a first holding device with a first coupling device for fastening the tensioning device to a helmet and a second holding device with a second coupling device for fastening the tensioning device to a mask. The first holding device and the second holding device are adjustable relative to each other between at least a first relative position and a second relative position, wherein a distance between the first coupling device and the second coupling device in the first relative position is greater than in the second relative position.

STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

There are a variety of different fastening systems for holding a mask to a helmet known. The German patent DE 37 21 662 discloses a protective helmet with a strapless respirator, which is releasably fixable via two connecting elements on the protective helmet. The connecting elements each have a plug part and a Steckeraufriahmeteil, wherein the plug part are limited rotatably and pivotally mounted on the mask and the plug receiving part to the protective helmet. For fixing the mask to the protective helmet, the plug part can be inserted into the plug receiving part and can be fixed in this by a latching mechanism. About a triggering part, the fixation can be canceled and the plug part again from the plug receiving part detachable. Such a connecting element has the disadvantage that a contact pressure of the mask can only be varied by inserting the plug part at different depths into the plug receiving part. Regulating the contact pressure thus requires a high level of skill and is relatively time consuming.

The German utility model DE 93 07 045 U shows a fastening device for attaching a breathing mask to a protective helmet. The Befestigungsigüngsvorrichtung has two mounting arms, which are arranged on opposite sides of the protective helmet laterally thereto. Each mounting arm has two in one another, guided in their longitudinal direction fastening struts, which thus allow an extraction of the mounting arm. A fixing strut can be coupled with the mask via an articulated connection, another attachment strut can be coupled with the helmet via a hook. A spring element is arranged on the attachment arm to contract the attachment struts and thus to effect a shortening of the attachment arm. Such a fastening device has the disadvantage that when attaching the fastening device to the protective helmet a tensile force against the spring element must be applied to couple the hook with the helmet. As a result, an accurate alignment of hook and hard hat is difficult.

US 4,734,940 offentbart eine weitere Befestigungsvorrichtung. US 4,734,940 discloses another fastening device.

From the German patent application DE 43 23 926 is a mask-helmet combination is known in which a mask is fixed to a helmet via a belt. To ensure tightness of the mask, a first end of the belt is pivotally mounted on the mask and the belt is guided over a deflection support on the helmet and held with a second end on a buckle of the mask. By pulling on the second end, the mask is movable to generate a required contact pressure to the helmet. This mask-helmet combination has the disadvantage that the mask attached to the helmet over the belt and the helmet is thus not separately from the mask can be placed. Furthermore, a contact pressure, the mask can only be achieved via a corresponding tensile force on the belt. This requires a high level of skill and is relatively time consuming.

In this case, features that are disclosed in connection with the inventive clamping device, also disclosed for the inventive protective helmet and vice versa.

Accordingly, the object is achieved by a tensioning device for detachably holding a mask on a helmet, comprising a first holding device with a first coupling device for fastening the tensioning device to a helmet and a second holding device with a second coupling device for fastening the tensioning device to a mask. The first holding device and the second holding device are adjustable relative to each other between at least a first relative position and a second relative position, wherein a distance between the first coupling device and the second coupling device in the first relative position is greater than in the second relative position. Furthermore, the tensioning device has a spring element which is designed to adjust the first coupling device and the second coupling device from the first relative position in the direction of the second relative position. The clamping device has a Rastmittet, which is designed to have the spring element in a latching position in such a tensioned state that the spring element does not affect a relative movement of the first coupling device and second coupling device between the first relative position and the second relative position by a spring force, and release the spring element in a release position. The clamping device has a release means, which is designed to release the locking means.

The first coupling device is formed, the tensioning device on a helmet, such. a protective helmet, releasably fix, e.g. hook into a corresponding receptacle of the helmet, in particular a bracket. Preferably, the first coupling device can be arranged on the receptacle of the helmet, that a release of the tensioning device of the helmet can be done only by applying a force opposite to the spring force on the tensioning device.

The second holding device is formed, the clamping device on a mask, e.g. a respirator, releasably fix. Preferably, the clamping device can be arranged relative to the mask so that it can be pivoted relative to one another, wherein the relative pivoting is made possible, for example, by the second holding device and / or a receptacle of the mask. More preferably, the second holding device on a locking means, which prevents a release of the tensioning device of the mask, in particular when the mask is not arranged on the helmet. Thus, the clamping device is already attached to the mask before the mask is fixed by means of the tensioning device to the helmet, so that mask with clamping device is provided as a module. This has the advantage that fixing the mask to a helmet takes less time.

The first relative position is preferably a maximum and the second relative position is a minimum distance of the first coupling device to the second coupling device. In the first relative position, a mask without contact pressure on the helmet can be arranged. By a relative displacement of the first holding device and the second holding device in the direction of the second relative position, a contact pressure of the mask can be generated. Preferably, the clamping device has at least one end stop, which prevents exceeding the first relative position and / or falling below the second relative position.

The tensioning device has a spring element, which is preferably arranged substantially in the interior of the middle part. The spring element is eg a tensile and / or compression spring and designed to exert a force on the first coupling device and the second coupling device in the direction of the second relative position when the first coupling device and the second coupling device between the first relative position and the second relative position are. Thus, the spring element is designed to generate a defined or easily reproducible contact pressure of the mask. Preferably, the tensioning device has means for biasing the spring element. This has the advantage that a contact pressure is variable by changing a bias of the spring element and thus the needs of different users adaptable.

Under contact pressure of the mask is understood in particular a pressure exerted by the mask on a face of a user who has put on a helmet with mask. Contact pressure is required to ensure that the mask is sealed on the face so that no fluids or other particles can penetrate from the outside between the mask and the face.

Furthermore, the tensioning device has a latching means, which is used to hold the spring element in a tensioned, e.g. compressed state is formed. In this compressed state, the spring element preferably exerts no force on the first holding device and the second holding device. Thus, the first holding device and the second holding device are substantially freely relative to each other between the first relative position and the second relative position movable or displaceable along a guide. Preferably, the locking means is designed such that it automatically assumes the locking position when the spring element is tensioned.

About a triggering means, the locking means is releasable, thus releasing the spring element, so that the spring element exerts a force on the first holding device and the second holding device, via which the first holding device and the second. Holding device in the direction of the second relative position are adjustable.

The invention is based on the idea that a coupling of the tensioning device with a helmet is easily possible without the tensioning device generating a force that makes such a coupling more difficult. This has the advantage that this coupling of mask and helmet is possible faster than with conventional tensioning devices. Moreover, the invention advantageously ensures that a contact pressure of the mask is substantially presettable, so that the user the helmet with mask when applying the mask by the clamping device experiences a substantially constant contact pressure. An elaborate regulation of the contact pressure by the user, for example by tightening tension straps or pushing together a locking connection, is therefore not required.

Of course, it can be provided in the context of the invention that the first holding device for coupling the tensioning device with a mask and the second holding device for coupling the tensioning device are formed with a helmet. The arrangement of the remaining components of the tensioner, such as e.g. the locking means or the spring element, remains unchanged. Such a tensioning device is preferably first to be coupled with the helmet and then with the mask.

Furthermore, it can be provided that the triggering means comprises an actuating switch for manually actuating the triggering means and / or an actuating element for automatically actuating the triggering means, wherein the actuating element of the first coupling device or the second coupling device is arranged adjacent. In the context of the invention, automatic triggering is understood to be triggering, which is initiated by a coupling process. By contrast, manual actuation means that an actuation switch is actuated by a user. This can be independent of a coupling movement, e.g. at the end of the coupling process, done. Such an actuator has the advantage that a release of the tensioned spring element is easily possible to produce a contact pressure of the mask. Preferably, the actuating element is arranged on the first holding device. A possible actuation switch is preferably arranged on the middle part, preferably adjacent to the first holding device.

Particularly preferably, it can be provided that the actuating element is arranged on the first coupling device or the second coupling device such that coupling the first coupling device with the helmet or the second coupling device with the mask actuates the actuating element and releases the latching means. It is preferred if the actuating element on the first holding device is arranged. More preferably, the actuating element is arranged on the first holding device such that a coupling of the tensioning device with the helmet actuates the actuating element and thus releases the locking means. It is intended in the context of the invention that the coupling process is substantially completed until the actuation of the actuating element, so that a decoupling of the clamping device of the helmet is possible only against the force of the spring element. This has the advantage that the clamping element can be easily coupled to the helmet while a contact pressure of the mask is automatically generated without hindering the process of coupling of tensioning device and helmet.

It is preferred that the first coupling device and / or the second coupling device are formed in at least one region to form a positive connection with a first coupling portion of a helmet or a second coupling portion of a mask. Preferably, the first coupling device and / or the second coupling device are hook-shaped in at least one area. Such coupling devices have the advantage that they can be arranged relatively easily on a corresponding receptacle. A force exerted by the spring element prevents unintentional release of the holding device.

Preferably, it can be provided that the latching means at least a first guide element, a second guide element and at least one on the first. Guide element and the second guide element abgleitbares pressure element, wherein the locking means is configured such that the first guide element blocks sliding of the pressure element from the second guide member to the first guide member in the locking position and releases in the release position. Preferably, the spring element is arranged to exert a compressive force on the pressure element in the tensioned state. Such a locking means has the advantage that it can be produced by simple means and ensures safe operation of the clamping device.

Further preferably, it can be provided that the first guide element and the second guide element in the release position coaxial and in the detent position are not arranged coaxially with each other. Preferably, a non-coaxial arrangement of the first guide element and the second Führurigselements a form-fitting portion or paragraph, which blocks slipping of the pressure element. In the release position, sliding of the pressure element between the first guide element and the second guide element is no longer blocked. It is essential here that in the rest position slipping of the pressure element by positive engagement, in particular a paragraph, is prevented. Such a locking means has the advantage that it can be produced by simple means and ensures safe operation of the clamping device.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the release means is at least partially disposed in an inner channel of the first guide member and / or the second guide member. This has the advantage that the clamping device has a particularly compact design. Moreover, the release means is better protected in this way by the latching means or the. Middle part of the clamping device from external influences.

It is advantageous if the pressure element is arranged between the spring element and a region of the first holding device or the second holding device. The spring is preferably arranged to exert a force on the pressure element and the region of the first holding device or the second holding device in the tensioned state. Thus, in the release position via the pressure element, a force can be exerted on the first holding device or second holding device, via which a relative displacement of the first holding device to the second holding device in the direction of the second relative position can be effected.

It is preferred according to the invention that a central part of the tensioning device is designed as a grip. As a result, a handling of the clamping device is improved and thus facilitates coupling with the helmet.

Furthermore, the object is achieved by a protective helmet with a respirator and a holding device for holding the respirator on the protective helmet, the helmet a first coupling portion for coupling the holding device and the respirator a second Having coupling portion for coupling the holding device. The holding device is designed as a clamping device according to the invention. Preferably, the protective helmet has at least two tensioning devices, which can be arranged on both sides of the protective helmet. Such a protective helmet with respirator has the advantage that it is particularly light and quick to put on and ensures a tight fit of the respirator on the face of a user.

To use the protective helmet with a respirator, the tensioning devices with the second coupling devices are preferably first to be fastened to the second coupling sections of the respiratory mask. Optionally, an adjustment of the bias of the spring elements via an adjusting device of the clamping device. As a result, a contact pressure of the mask can be increased or lowered before placing the mask. These steps are preferably carried out at a first time when the use of the protective helmet is not yet required. This results in the advantage that at a second time at which the use of the helmet is required, the putting on of protective helmet and respirator can be done faster.

At the second time the protective helmet is put on. The spring element of the clamping device is biased and brought the locking mechanism in the locked position. The locking mechanism preferably assumes the locking position by the tensioning of the spring element. The tensioning of the spring element is preferably carried out by the relative displacement of the first holding device and the second holding device in the first relative position.

Subsequently, the respirator with the tensioning devices arranged thereon is guided to the face of the user. The first coupling devices are easily displaced into the first relative position and can be coupled with corresponding receptacles of the protective helmet, since a relative displacement of the first holding device to the second holding device is possible without having to act against a tensile force of a spring element. By the coupling process, the locking means is brought into the release position, and the tensioning device releases a tensile force, the first coupling devices and second coupling devices moves in the direction of the second relative position and thus pulls the respirator against the user's face. In an alternative embodiment of the tensioning device according to the invention, instead of a tensile force, another force, such as a compressive force, can be used to generate a contact pressure of the mask.

In the FIG. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of the clamping device 1 according to the invention in a side view. The tensioning device 1 has a first holding device 2 with a first wall 13 and a second wall 14, which are connected to one another via a connecting section 15. The first wall 13 and the second wall 14 are arranged parallel to one another, wherein the connecting portion 15 is arranged perpendicular to the first wall 13. A portion of the first wall 13 is formed as a first coupling device 2a for coupling with a helmet, such as a protective helmet. On the second wall 14, a second guide member 9 is arranged parallel to the connecting portion 15. Preferably, the second guide member 9 is held on the second wall 14. Between the second guide member 9 and the first wall 13, a first guide member 8 is arranged. The first guide element 8 and the second guide element 9 are elements of a locking means 5.

On the first guide element 8, a pressure element 10 is arranged, which is displaceable between the first guide element 8 and the second guide element 9. The tensioning device 1 has a spring element 4, which is arranged between the second wall 14 and the pressure element 10 on the latching means 5.

A third wall 16 of a second holding device 3 is arranged guided on the first guide element 8, so that the second holding device 3 relative to the first holding device 2 along the latching means 5 is displaceable. The second holding device 3 has a second coupling device 3a, on which a mask, e.g. a respirator can be arranged.

The first guide element 8 and the second guide element 9 are formed as a hollow cylinder with an inner channel 11. In the inner channel 11, a part of a triggering means 6 is arranged. The triggering means 6 is substantially L-shaped and has at a first end, which is arranged within the locking means 5, a spherical end piece 7a. The spherical end piece 7a of the triggering means 6 is arranged substantially within the second guide element 9 and thus releases a pivoting of the first guide element 8 relative to the second guide element 9. Alternatively, the tail 7a may also be partially arranged between the first guide element 8 and the second guide element 9 and thus block a pivoting of the first guide element 8 relative to the second guide element 9. The second end of the triggering means 6 is designed as an actuating element 7 and arranged within a receptacle of the first coupling device 2a.

In the in FIG. 1 shown first state, the locking means 5 is shown in a release position. In this position, the first guide element 8 is arranged coaxially with the second guide element 9. In the first state, the pressure element 10 is slidable against the spring force of the spring element 4 on the second guide element 9. The first coupling device 2a and second coupling device 3a have a second relative position R2 to each other. In this example, the second relative position R2 establishes a minimum distance between the first coupling device 2a and the second coupling device 3a. A relative displacement of the first holding device 2 to the second holding device 3 is possible only against the spring force.

FIG. 2 shows the tensioning device in a second state. In the second state, the first coupling device 2a and the second coupling device 3a are arranged in a first relative position R1 relative to one another. The spring element 4 is in a tensioned state. The pressure element 10 is arranged completely on the second guide element 9. The first guide element 8 is pivoted relative to the second guide element 9 and to the first wall 13 in such a way that a step or a shoulder is formed between the first guide element 8 and the second guide element 9. This step prevents sliding of the pressure element 10 of the second guide member 9 on the first guide member 8 and thus causes a fixing of the spring element 4 in the tensioned state. The spherical end piece 7a of the triggering means 6 is arranged substantially within the second guide element 9 and thus releases a pivoting of the first guide element 8 relative to the second guide element 9.

FIG. 3 shows the tensioning device 1 in a third state. The third state is different from the one in FIG. 2 shown second state in that the second coupling device 3a is arranged relative to the first coupling device 2a in the second relative position R2. Since the pressure member 10 is held at the stage of the first guide member 8, the spring member 4 remains tensioned in the third state. The first holding device 2 and second holding device 3 are thus freely displaceable relative to each other, without having to act against a spring force.

In the in FIG. 4 shown fourth state of the clamping device 1, the second coupling device 3a is arranged relative to the first coupling device 2a in relative position, which lies between the first relative position R1 and the second relative position R2. A first coupling portion 12 of a helmet, such as a protective helmet or a fire helmet, is adjacent to the first coupling device 2a. In the fourth state, the mask is preferably already attached to the second coupling device 3a and the mask is guided to the face of a user who has already put on the helmet. The first coupling device 2a is guided to the helmet to be coupled to the first coupling portion 12. Since the pressure member 10 is held at the stage of the first guide member 8, the spring member 4 remains tensioned in the third state. The first holding device 2 and second holding device 3 are further freely displaceable relative to each other, without having to act against a spring force.

FIG. 5 shows the tensioning device 1 in a fifth state. In the fifth state, the first coupling section 12 of the helmet is just coupled to the first coupling device 2 a of the tensioning device 1. As a result, the actuating element 7 is displaced in the direction of the first wall 13 and thus the triggering means 6 relative to the first holding device 2. This has the effect that the spherical end piece 12 is arranged approximately halfway inside the first guide element 8 and the other half inside the second guide element 9. This results in a coaxial alignment of the first guide member 8 to the second guide member 9 and thus an adjustment of the locking means 5 in the release position, so that the pressure plate 10 of the spring element 4 in the direction of the first wall 13 is displaceable. The fifth state thus goes into a sixth state, which in FIG. 6 is shown. In the fifth state, the first holding device 2 and the second holding device 3 are still relatively displaceable without having to act against a spring force of the spring element 4.

Spannvorrichtung.15 FIG. 6 shows the tensioning device 1 in the sixth state. The tensioning device 1 is coupled to the helmet and the pressure element 10 is displaced against the third wall 16 of the second holding device 3 due to the spring force of the spring element 4. This causes a tensile force between the first coupling device 2a and the second coupling device 3a and thus a contact pressure of the mask on the face of the user. By changing the bias of the spring element 4, this contact pressure, for example, can already be changed in the first state or the second state, for example via a corresponding adjusting device or clamping device 15

In the context of the invention, of course, alternative configurations of the locking means 5 are provided for holding the spring element 4 in the detent position. Instead of hollow cylinders, the locking means 5 may have sheets that cause a similar technical effect. It can also be provided that the first guide element 8 or second guide element 9 is also designed as a pressure element 10.
