- EP 1580311 discloses a direct drive motor where the stator is centered by means of a cylindrical or conical protuberance which enters the bearing hole which is precisely machined in order to seat ball bearings. This known solution requires to reduce the axial distance of the ball bearings, with a direct impact on the rigidity of the drum shaft support, or to increase the axial dimension of the central portion of the bearing spider. Moreover the solution disclosed by EP 1580311 is not for washing machine having a plastic tub, since it is clearly fit for washing machines having a metal tub.
- DE 10060940 discloses a washing machine which, similarly to EP 1580311 , uses a metal bearing spider which cooperates with an axial protrusion of the stator during reciprocal engagement. Metal surface of the bearing spider has to be precisely machined in order to properly centering the stator.
- WO2008099551 discloses a motor unit for a washing machine with a body having a rotating shaft, a stator holding part to be mounted on the washing machine body, a stator and a rotor, wherein the stator and the rotor are assembled first, the rotor is then mounted on the rotating shaft and the stator is finally mounted on the stator holding part.
- the plastic tub comprises a central axially protruding portion where a central opening of the stator is centered before its final fastening to the tub.
- the centering of the stator on the tub is made by using only specific centering surfaces of the stator provided on the edge of the central opening used for its assembly to the protruding portion of the tub.
- the plastic tub presents a rear wall in which a metal reinforcing element is embedded, i.e. co-injected. This increases the overall rigidity of the tub.

Claims (9)
- Waschmaschine mit einem Direktantriebsmotorsystem, umfassend eine Kunststoffwanne (10, 10a) mit einer Rückwand (10a), umfassend ein verstärkendes sternförmiges Metallelement (12), eine Trommel (18), die drehbar innerhalb der Wanne (10, 10a) montiert ist, und eine Welle (16), die mit der Trommel (18) zur Übertragung eines Antriebsmoments eines Direktantriebsmotors verbunden ist, wobei das sternförmige Metallelement (12) eine zentrale Nabe (12a) bildet, die zum Anbringen von Lagern (14) für die Welle (16) konfiguriert ist, wobei der Motor eine Rotoranordnung (26) umfasst, die an der Welle (16) befestigt ist, und eine Statoranordnung (24), die an der Nabe (10, 10a) befestigt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kunststoffwanne (10) einen zentralen axialen hinteren vorstehenden Abschnitt (20) umfasst, der durch eine äußere Kunststoffschalung gebildet wird, die auf mindestens die zentrale Nabe (12a) des verstärkenden sternförmigen Metallelements (12) co-eingespritzt wird, wobei der zentrale axiale hintere vorstehende Abschnitt (20) zum Zentrieren einer zentralen Öffnung der Statoranordnung (24) mit der Wanne durch axiales Verschieben der Statoranordnung (24) an dem zentralen axialen hinteren Abschnitt (20) vor Befestigen der Statoranordnung (24) an der Wanne (10, 10a) konfiguriert ist.
- Waschmaschine nach Anspruch 1, wobei der zentrale vorstehende Abschnitt (20) der Wanne (10, 10a) einen sich verjüngenden Teil (20a) zum Vorzentrieren der Statoranordnung (24) und einen zylindrischen Abschnitt (20b) zum Zentrieren der Statoranordnung (24) umfasst.
- Waschmaschine nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei in der Metallnabe (12a) Kugellager (14) montiert sind.
- Waschmaschine nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Statoranordnung (24) an der Wanne (10, 10a) mittels Schrauben (32) parallel zur Welle (16) befestigt ist.
- Waschmaschine nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Schrauben (32) an der Metallnabe (12a) befestigt sind.
- Waschmaschine nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei der zentrale vorstehende Abschnitt (20) mindestens eine radiale Verlängerung (28) aufweist, die zum Zusammenwirken mit einem entsprechenden Sitz (30) konfiguriert ist und auf der Statoranordnung (24) zum Gewährleisten einer vorbestimmten Winkelposition der Statoranordnung (24) in Bezug auf die Wanne (10, 10a) erhalten wird.
- Waschmaschine nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die zentrale Öffnung der Statoranordnung (24) eine Mehrzahl von Zentrierflächen (22) aufweist, die zum Zusammenwirken mit einer äußeren zylindrischen Fläche (21) des zentralen vorstehenden Abschnitts (20) der Wanne (10, 10a) ausgebildet ist.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Waschmaschine mit einem Direktantriebsmotorsystem, umfassend eine Kunststoffwanne (10, 10a) mit einer Rückwand, die ein verstärkendes sternförmiges Metallelement (12), eine Trommel (18), die drehbar in der Wanne (10, 10a) montiert ist, und eine Welle (16) umfasst, die mit der Trommel (18) zum Übertragen einer Antriebskraft eines Direktantriebsmotors verbunden ist, wobei das sternförmige Metallelement (12) eine zentrale Nabe (12a) bildet, die zum Montieren von Lagern für die Welle konfiguriert ist und wobei der Motor eine Rotoranordnung (26) umfasst, die an der Welle (16) befestigt ist, und eine Statoranordnung (24), die an der Wanne (10, 10a) befestigt ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte umfasst:• gleichzeitiges Einspritzen der Kunststoffwanne (10, 10a) auf mindestens die zentrale Nabe (12a) des sternförmigen Metallelements (12), so dass ein zentral vorstehender Kunststoffabschnitt (20) als Kunststoffschicht (A) auf der zentralen Nabe (12a) gebildet wird; und• axiales Verschieben der Statoranordnung (24) auf der Kunststoffschicht (A), um die Statoranordnung (24) auf der Wanne (10, 10a) zu zentrieren.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, wobei der Schritt des Erzeugens eines zentralen vorstehenden Kunststoffabschnitts (20) durch Einspritzen von Kunststoffmaterial nahe dem einen Ende der Nabe (12a) ausgeführt wird.
