Definitions
- the invention relates to a canopy, in particular roof of a sun and weather protection device, with a flexible protective surface and a support rod and swinging on both sides clamping and support struts.
- umbrellas in the form of a support bar with cross struts for a fabric are known, for example CH 314 813 (Albert Glatz ) CH 395 446 (Karl Strotz ) and CH 501798 (Albert Glatz ).
- the advantages of these sail-like parasols include the rectangular shape and the adaptability to the position of the sun.
- a disadvantage is the complex installation of the separate fabric on the support bar or the overlapping of the folded fabric with the main joint.
- Another disadvantage is that to solve the tracking of the roof to the changed position of the sun multiple locking devices and to fix again. Disadvantages are also weak clamping effects and thus insufficient wind resistance.
- 1,865,106 is a two-legged roof for a tractor with a flexible roof surface, which is framed on the side by fixed slats and crosswise by wire ropes.
- the roof-mounted support bar is bent on both sides of the roof ends to fixed legs.
- the struts for the opening and closing of the roof are arranged graduated in height.
- the support struts are bent transversely to the opening / closing movement, on the one hand slidably displaceable on runners on the support rod with tension springs, while the support struts are pivotally connected with vertical distance to the horizontal support bar with the vertical lateral legs.
- the protective cover is fitted with reinforcing eyelets on Enddornen the non-foldable, mated support frame.
- the thorns and eyes have no mutual rotational function.
- the diagonally placed thorns would lose holding power when twisted off.
- the object of the invention is thus to remedy the identified weaknesses of the prior art, while offering a solution in which the roof when not in use, compactly packed together with closing movements within the outline of the clamped roof and the fabric can be placed in parallel folds, which allows operation of the joint even when the roof is folded.
- the protective roof - in contrast to US Pat. No. 1,865,106 - Can be easily and simply adjusted by changing the position of the situations of sun and wind situation.
- the object of the invention is achieved by a protective roof with a support rod according to claim 1.
- the protective surface has corners and the corners of the protective surface are rotatably mounted on the strut ends.
- the carrier rod has guide grooves for preventing rotation of the slide. It can be arranged advantageously stop cams for the end positions of the slide in the guide grooves of the support rod. It is also advantageous if a provided with a spring rocker arm with claw is mounted in the sliders, which holds the spanned clamping struts in position with a mating catch on the support rod.
- the long tension struts can advantageously be provided with sprung extensions for tension compensation. To avoid overstretching of parts of the protective surface, the outer ends of the long clamping struts may be arranged in the folded position lying back to the carrier rod end.
- the struts can be equipped with expanding springs or spacers.
- the protective surface bulges for example in the wind, etc., it may have on one or both sides of the adjustment joint additional fasteners to the support rod.
- additional fasteners to the support rod.
- these may be accompanied by a guard ring.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 as a whole with 2 designated screen has a standard rod 4, which in the present embodiment of two telescopically slidable sub-tubes 6 and 8, which can be locked and released with a first fastening device 9 with a first clamping handle 10.

In
At both ends of the
In the illustrated embodiment, the
