Description

Technisches GebietTechnical area

The invention relates to a shelter, in particular roof of a sun and weather protection device, with a flexible protective surface and a support rod and swinging on both sides clamping and support struts.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

In addition to other umbrella structures parasols are known in the form of a support bar with cross struts for a fabric, for example, from CH 314 813 (Albert Glatz), CH 395 446 (Karl Strotz) and CH 501798 (Albert Glatz). The advantages of these sail-like parasols include the rectangular shape and the adaptability to the position of the sun. A disadvantage is the complex installation of the separate fabric on the support bar or the overlapping of the folded fabric with the main joint. Another disadvantage is that to solve the tracking of the roof to the changed position of the sun multiple locking devices and to fix again. Disadvantages are also weak clamping effects and thus insufficient wind resistance. In the US Pat. No. 1,865,106 is a two-legged roof for a tractor with a flexible roof surface, which is framed on the side by fixed slats and crosswise by wire ropes. The roof-mounted support bar is bent on both sides of the roof ends to fixed legs. The struts for the opening and closing of the roof are arranged graduated in height. The support struts are bent transversely to the opening / closing movement, on the one hand on runners on the support rod with tension springs displaced, while the support struts are pivotally connected with height distance to the horizontal support bar with the vertical side legs. In the US 5,390,685 A the protective cover is fitted with reinforcing eyelets on Enddornen the non-foldable, mated support frame. The thorns and eyes have no mutual rotational function. The diagonally placed thorns would lose holding power when twisted off.

Darstellung der ErfindungPresentation of the invention

The object of the invention is thus to remedy the identified weaknesses of the prior art, while offering a solution in which the roof when not in use, compactly packed together with closing movements within the outline of the clamped roof and the fabric can be placed in parallel folds, which allows operation of the joint even when the roof is folded. In particular, the protective roof - in contrast to US Pat. No. 1,865,106 - Can be easily and simply adjusted by changing the position of the situations of sun and wind situation.

The object of the invention is achieved by a protective roof with a support rod according to claim 1.

It is advantageous if the protective surface has corners and the corners of the protective surface are rotatably mounted on the strut ends. Advantageously, the carrier rod has guide grooves for preventing rotation of the slide. It can be arranged advantageously stop cams for the end positions of the slide in the guide grooves of the support rod. It is also advantageous if a provided with a spring rocker arm with claw is mounted in the sliders, which holds the spanned clamping struts in position with a mating catch on the support rod. The long tension struts can advantageously be provided with sprung extensions for tension compensation. To avoid overstretching of parts of the protective surface, the outer ends of the long clamping struts may be arranged in the folded position lying back to the carrier rod end. For more reliable operation, the struts can be equipped with expanding springs or spacers. In order to avoid that the protective surface bulges, for example in the wind, etc., it may have on one or both sides of the adjustment joint additional fasteners to the support rod. To make sure that the Carrier rod when moving do not affect these additional fasteners, these may be accompanied by a guard ring.

Wege zur Ausführung der ErfindungWays to carry out the invention

The in the FIGS. 1 to 3 as a whole with 2 designated screen has a standard rod 4, which in the present embodiment of two telescopically slidable sub-tubes 6 and 8, which can be locked and released with a first fastening device 9 with a first clamping handle 10.

At the upper end of the upper part of the tube 8 is a joint, in the embodiment, a universal joint, having support 20 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Furthermore, the screen faces out FIG. 1 a - in the drawing horizontally adjusted support rod 22, which is also arranged at the universal joint.

In FIG. 4 is the illustrated the universal joint, on the one hand the stand rod 4, namely the upper part of the tube 8 staff stand, and on the other hand, the support rod 22, with dissolved clamping handle 40, each rotatable and the support rod 22 slidably and arrives locked at each detected clamping grip 40 of the universal joint. Basically, the universal joint in this embodiment comprises four functions, all possible with dissolved clamping handle 40 and are prevented with locked clamping handle 40, namely the rotatability of the staff 4 relative to the universal joint, the displaceability of the support rod 22 in the universal joint, the rotatability of the support rod 22 to his own axis in the universal joint and the rotatability of the support rod 22 relative to the stand rod 4 - in the exemplary embodiment by positively acting teeth in two hubs 42 and 44 in the locked state. In an alternative embodiment - not shown separately - the locking of the rotatability of the support rod 22 against the stand rod 4 is preferably frictionally ensured by the fact that the turntables 42 and 44 are formed for adjusting the angle of the staff 4 to support rod 22 as a cone. In a further alternative embodiment not shown separately - the locking of the rotatability of the support rod 22 against the stand rod 4 is virtually mixed form and locks ensures that the rotors 42 and 44 are formed with a roughened surface.

The fact that in the proposed embodiment, the universal joint by means of two joint halves with closed clamps and two toothed rotors 42, 44 - or in the above alternative embodiment of conical or roughened turntables - and a clamping bolt 46 and a clamping handle 40 is formed with a single clamping handle 40 all directions of movement are fixed and released again, the clamping effect is increased and assembly costs and number of components is reduced. In the present embodiment, therefore, the universal joint consists essentially of two joint halves in the form of turntables with integrated clamps 43, 45 and a clamping bolt 46. In the illustrated embodiment, both the support rod 22 as well as the standard rod 4 has a circular outer cross-section. In alternative embodiments the support rod 22 and / or the staff 4 a different outer cross section. In order to ensure the rotatability of the support rod 22 and the standard rod 4 anyway, then has the corresponding one hinge part in its clamp member transition elements to said outer cross-section. Can be used is an at least partially oval outer cross section, a polygonal outer cross section with or without rounding of the corners or a support rod and / or stand bar, which has at least partially a longitudinal groove. In the embodiment are - as from FIG. 5 clearly - mutually cross-centering sleeves 48 arranged around the center of the hubs 42 and 44 around.

At both ends of the support rod 22, each opposite, short support struts 24, 24a hingedly mounted with its one end and arranged with its other end with joints in the central region of long clamping struts 26, 26a. The long clamping struts 26, 26a are articulated on the one hand with sliders 28 running on the support rod 22, while the corners 30, 30a of the flexible protective surface 32 are fastened to the outer ends of the clamping struts 26, 26a. The two counter-rotating slide 28 are equipped with a spring-loaded rocker arm 29 with claw, which latch with clamped roof at a catch. By pressing the rocker arm 29, the slider 28 are released again and can be pushed back. This arrangement of the struts 24, 24a, 26, 26a causes the ends of the tensioning struts 26, 26a connected to the corners 30, 30a of the protection surface 32 to move almost at right angles to the support rod 22 and to place the protection surface 32 in a parallel fold 33 , which also allows unrestricted operation of the universal joint on the closed roof. Advantageously, the long tensioning struts 26, 26a are arranged so that in folded position their outer ends are arranged stepped back relative to the ends of the support rod 22 in order to avoid overstretching of the protective surface 32 during the Aufspann- or folding process.

In the illustrated embodiment, the protective surface 32 has corners 30, 30a, wherein the corners 30, 30a of the protective surface 32 are rotatably mounted on the strut ends. For clamping and folding each provided with a spring rocker arm 29 is mounted with claw 29a in the sliders 28, which holds with a mating catch on the support rod 22, the tensioned clamping struts 26, 26a in position. The long clamping struts 26, 26a are provided with sprung extensions for tension compensation. The outer ends of the long clamping struts 26, 26a are arranged in the folded position lying back to the carrier rod end 22a, whereby an overstretching of parts of the protective surface 32 is achieved. In the present embodiment, the struts with spreading springs (alternatively: distance holders) are equipped. Furthermore, the protective surface 32 on one or both sides of the adjusting additional fasteners 25 to the support rod 22, which is accompanied by a guard ring 25a.
