- the basic structure of the shower head 1 is in column 2, line 61 to column 5, line 19 of DE 4113 289 A1 described.
- the aforementioned text passage of DE 41 13 289 A1 is hereby incorporated by reference.
- the shower head 1 has a jet former 15 with an insert body 16, a housing bell 17, a distributor 7, a central body 18 and a jet exit plate 19.
- the insert body 16 is fixedly connected to the shower housing 2 and has essentially the task to supply incoming water through an opening 20 to a subsequent channel system of the shower head 1 and the jet former 15.
- the bell housing 17 and the jet outlet plate 19 are connected to each other in a rotationally fixed manner, so that rotation of the jet outlet plate 19 (eg via a handle body 13) by a user of the shower head 1 about a rotation axis 14 rotates the bell housing 17 accordingly. Due to the rotation of the bell housing 17, the opening 20 of the insert body 16 z. B.

- This water outlet is currently not flooded with water in the formation of the desired spray pattern.
- These water outlet openings 22 then serve (for this adjustment of the jet former) as an air intake opening for the introduction of air into the jet former 15. This detail is illustrated with appropriate arrows to illustrate the flow of water and airflow in Fig. 1 shown enlarged again.
- the first flow channel 3 is through a first valve 6 shown schematically here and the second flow channel 8 through a likewise schematically illustrated second valve 10 closable, so that the flowing through the first flow channel 3 and the second flow channel 8 water through the first channel 5 and the second channel 12 is discharged, when the first valve 6 and the second valve 10 are closed.
- These water outlet openings 22 then serve no longer as an air intake opening for the introduction of air into the jet former 15, but for the formation of water jets having the desired property in the external environment.

- a second operating mode or a second beam position of the jet former 15 is shown in which a channel system z. B. is activated to generate "needle beams".
- the distributor 7 is rotated relative to the sealing shoe 23 of the distributor 7, so that the first flow channel 3 is closed.
- the sealing shoe 23 Therefore, the water flows from another water inlet opening 21 in the first flow channel 3 and from the water outlet opening 22 and from the first channel 5 in the environment 11.
- a negative pressure, but by closing the first valve 6, an overpressure Therefore, in the second mode of operation, no air is sucked through the first channel 5 from the environment 11. Therefore, no "soft jets" but "needle jets" are formed.
- the jet former 15 also has one in the FIGS. 2 and 3 not shown second flow channel 8 with a second nozzle 9 and a second valve 10. Due to the symmetry of the jet former 15, however, the second flow channel 8, the second nozzle 9 and the second valve 10 are identical to the first flow channel 3, the first nozzle 4 and the first channel 5. The mode of operation also corresponds to that of the first flow channel 3, the first nozzle 4 and the first channel 5.
- the present invention is characterized in particular by the fact that it is particularly easy to displace an effervescent jet with air and, in addition, calcification of the effervescent head can be avoided.
- the jet former is designed so that it emits water in predetermined operating conditions from a certain number of water outlet openings of the jet outlet plate or (independently) sucks in air.

Such shower heads are used in particular in showers or bathtubs.
The object of the invention is therefore to solve the problems described with reference to the prior art, at least partially and in particular to provide a shower head, with the air a shower spray can be mixed with little effort.
These objects are achieved with a shower head according to the features of the independent claim. Further advantageous embodiments of the shower head are given in the dependent formulated claims. It should be noted that the features listed individually in the dependent formulated claims can be combined with each other in any technologically meaningful manner and define further embodiments of the invention. In addition, the features specified in the claims in the description specified and explained in more detail, wherein further preferred embodiments of the invention are shown.
The shower head has for this purpose a shower housing with at least one flow channel, wherein the at least one flow channel has a nozzle through which a negative pressure can be generated when flowing through the at least one flow channel with water, so that air can be sucked into the at least one flow channel via a channel, and wherein the at least one flow channel is closable, so that the water can be discharged from the channel.
The shower head is in particular a shower head for a shower and / or bath. The shower head has a shower housing with at least one flow channel, wherein usually a plurality of flow channels is provided. The shower enclosure is in particular at least partially made of plastic and / or metal. The shower enclosure is fed via a supply line water from a water source. The water may in particular be a mixed water which has been mixed by means of a thermostat of a cold water and hot water. The water can be conducted through the shower housing via at least one flow channel to at least one outlet of the shower head. At least one flow channel of the shower head (in particular a plurality of the plurality of flow channels) has a nozzle through which a negative pressure can be generated when flowing through the at least one flow channel with water. A nozzle is to be understood here in particular as a region of the at least one flow channel, in which a cross section and / or area of the at least one flow channel tapers in the flow direction of the water. As a result, a flow velocity of the water increases in the region of the nozzle, as a result of which an underpressure can be generated adjacent. In the region of the nozzle or the negative pressure, a (lateral) channel (eg in the manner of a branch channel) opens into the at least one flow channel, which connects the at least one flow channel with an environment or an air reservoir. Thus, air can be drawn in from the environment into the at least one flow channel via the negative pressure generated in the region of the nozzle via the channel be miscible in the at least one flow channel with the water. In addition, the at least one flow channel can be closed, so that the same time water is discharged via the channel into the environment. In other words, this means that the water is diverted into the channel by closing the at least one flow channel. Thus, the channel is on the one hand flows through from the outside to the inside with air when the at least one flow channel is open, and on the other hand flows through from the inside to the outside with water when the at least one flow channel is closed. As a result, in particular a risk of calcification of the shower head is reduced because the channel can be flowed through both air and water.
Moreover, it is advantageous if the at least one flow channel can be closed downstream of the channel. As a result, the pressure in the at least one flow channel and in particular the pressure in the region of the nozzle increases, so that the water flows out through the channel.
Moreover, it is advantageous if a valve is arranged in the at least one flow channel. The valve can be actuated by a user of the shower head, in particular by means of a switching element of the shower head, wherein it may be, for example, a handle body which is rotatable about an axis of rotation in the switching element.
Moreover, it is advantageous if the nozzle is a Venturi nozzle. In such a Venturi nozzle, the cross-section and / or the surface area of the at least one flow channel initially tapers in the flow direction and expands again after reaching a minimum cross-section in the flow direction. In the region of the minimum cross section, in particular, the channel opens into the at least one flow channel.
It is also advantageous if in the shower housing, a distributor is arranged, via which the water is a plurality of flow channels can be fed.

The
Upon activation of another channel system of the jet former 15, for example for generating "needle jets", by partially rotating the

The present invention is characterized in particular by the fact that it is particularly easy to displace an effervescent jet with air and, in addition, calcification of the effervescent head can be avoided. For this purpose, the jet former is designed so that it emits water in predetermined operating conditions from a certain number of water outlet openings of the jet outlet plate or (independently) sucks in air.
