The connecting plate 16 is flush with the bottom of the foot parts 14, 15, so that the top of the connecting plate is 4 mm to 5 mm above the ground. The side cheeks 20 also typically have felt feet or like feet at each corner such that the underside of the side cheeks extend a distance from the floor, which is typically greater than the distance of the top of the tie plate 16 to the floor. The furniture can then be placed in the free space 19 without wobbling. With a carpet, this is possible anyway.

Claims (16)

  1. Lamp base (11) for a standard lamp, which stands on the floor and holds an upright pole (12) on which the lamp is held, the lamp base (11) having a first base part (14), on which the pole (12) is fastened, and a second base part (15), which is connected releasably or adjustably to the first foot part (14) in such a way that a free space (19) is formed between the end faces (17, 18) of the base parts (14, 15) which face one another, characterised in that a furniture part (20) fits into the free space, and that the first and the second base part (14, 15) are fixedly connected to one another by means of a connecting plate (16) which extends parallel above the floor between the base parts (14, 15).
  2. Lamp base according to claim 1, characterised in that the connecting plate (16) is arranged on the underside of the base parts (14, 15) in respective recesses (23, 24), so that a flat underside is formed.
  3. Lamp base according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the recess forms a linear guide for the connecting plate (16) in such a way that the base parts (14, 15) can be pushed towards one another.
  4. Lamp base according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the connecting plate (16) is screwed to the base parts (14, 15).
  5. Lamp base according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the connecting plate (16) can be connected by means of screw bores (26) and screw holes (25) in predetermined layers to the respective base parts (14, 15) in order to form free spaces (19) of different sizes.
  6. Lamp base according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the connecting plate has at least one and preferably two parallel elongate hole(s) in order to connect the second base part to the connecting plate at a freely selectable distance from the first base part.
  7. Lamp base according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the pole (12) is mounted on an upright projection (21) which is connected to the first base part.
  8. Lamp base according to claim 7, characterised in that the projection is formed by two projection parts which extend adjacent to one another and delimit a free space between them.
  9. Lamp base according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that at least one cable channel (27) is provided, in order to receive the power cable which extends from a free end face (28, 29, 30) of the lamp base (11) to the upright projection (21) for den pole (12).
  10. Lamp base according to claim 9, characterised in that the cable channel (27) extends on the underside of the lamp base (11).
  11. Lamp base according to one of claims 7 to 10, characterised in that the cable channel (27) opens into a channel extending upright in the projection (21) or opens into the free space between the projection parts.
  12. Lamp base according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the lamp base (11) is provided with a decorative plate (32) on its upper face.
  13. Lamp base according to claim 12, characterised in that the decorative plate (32) is divided into a first and second decorative plate portion (34, 33) corresponding to the division of the lamp base (11) into a first and a second base part (14, 15).
  14. Lamp base according to one of claims 12 or 13, characterised in that the decorative plate (32) or at least the second decorative plate portion (33) are releasably connected to the lamp base (11) or to the second base part respectively.
  15. Lamp base according to one of claims 12 to 14, characterised in that the decorative plate (32) and/or the second decorative plate portion (33) is held on the lamp base (11) or the second base part (15) respectively so as to be movable parallel to the flat face by means of magnets.
  16. Lamp base according to claim 9 and one of claims 12 to 15, characterised in that the cable channel extends on the upper face of the base parts and is covered by the decorative plate.
