Description

The present invention relates to a cladding assembly for the covering of a facade, incorporating several cladding tiles and retaining cladding tiles on structural elements.

It relates more particularly to the technical field of facade cladding relating to the covering or external covering of a building facade - or wall cover - with cladding tiles supported by structural elements of the facade; this facade being vertical or quasi-vertical, that is to say with an inclination relative to the vertical of up to 30 or even 45 °.

The structural elements, conventionally of the type beam, smooth, batten or rail, are arranged horizontally and regularly spaced to receive the cladding tiles. Studs, hooks or other fastening elements are generally provided on the internal faces of the cladding tiles in order to place and position these tiles on the structural elements during their installations.

To illustrate the state of the art, it is known from the document FR 2 549 879 1 using a cladding tile having a completely flat outer face and an inner face on which there is provided a high rib forming a retaining hook on a structural beam, and a medial rib forming a rail intended to be applied on the edges upper two lower cladding tiles. Thus, each cladding tile covers two lower cladding tiles, that is to say the two adjacent cladding tiles located below. The prior art according to the preamble of claim 1 of the present application is also known from the document FR 1 008 112 A . It is also known from the document FR 2 873 729 A1 to use a cladding tile having a completely flat outer face and an inner face on which are provided latches that engage the hooks of horizontal structural rails. In this document, the cladding tiles do not overlap each other and are all arranged side by side without overlap.

The disadvantage of conventional cladding tiles, as described in the two aforementioned documents, is the low overlap between the cladding tiles, or even the lack of overlap between the cladding tiles, contributing to a set of cladding that is not very cohesive and not stable. Thus, each cladding tile can lift, particularly under the action of the wind, independently or almost independently, tiles that are adjacent to it, contributing to an increased risk of falling cladding tiles.

To solve this problem, it is known to screw the cladding tiles on the structural elements, thus imposing long and tedious screwing operations.

The present invention aims to solve the problem of holding siding tiles by proposing a cladding assembly ensuring cohesion and stability of cladding tiles once installed on the structural elements.

ladite tuile centrale est recouverte par deux tuiles dites supérieures droite et gauche, lesdites tuiles supérieures droite et gauche étant adjacentes, décalées vers le haut et situées respectivement à droite et à gauche de ladite tuile centrale, ladite tuile centrale ayant ses éléments d'emboîtement longitudinaux qui s'emboîtent avec les éléments d'emboîtement complémentaire longitudinaux desdites tuiles supérieures droite et gauche ;
ledit ensemble de bardage étant remarquable en ce qu'il comprend en outre plusieurs dispositifs de retenue des tuiles sur les éléments de structure, chaque dispositif de retenue présentant une forme générale d'arche en « U » et comprenant une embase et une première et une seconde ailes s'étendant en vis-à-vis de part et d'autre de ladite embase, chaque aile présentant un organe d'emboîtement de forme complémentaire à celle d'un élément d'emboîtement longitudinal, chaque dispositif de retenue étant prévu pour coopérer avec le bord longitudinal d'une tuile, d'une part, en emboîtant l'organe d'emboîtement d'une première aile sur un élément d'emboîtement longitudinal ménagé sur une bande latérale le long dudit bord longitudinal et, d'autre part, en plaçant la seconde aile dudit dispositif de retenue sous un élément de structure, chaque dispositif de retenue étant éloigné du bord supérieur de la tuile retenue d'une distance comprise entre 0,3 et 0,5 fois la longueur de la tuile ;
For this purpose, it proposes a cladding assembly for covering a facade, said cladding assembly comprising a plurality of cladding tiles, each tile having two opposite faces, respectively internal and external, longitudinal edges, respectively right and left, in the direction of the length and the transverse edges, respectively lower and upper, in the direction of the width, where:
  • its outer face has a lower portion and an upper portion, wherein the lower portion extends from the lower edge to substantially the middle of the outer face and is extended by the upper portion which extends substantially to the upper edge, where said upper portion has on the right and left longitudinal interlocking elements extending only on the upper portion along the corresponding longitudinal edge, and
  • its inner face has longitudinal complementary interlocking elements extending along the longitudinal edges below the lower portion of the outer face, said longitudinal complementary interlocking elements extending only below the lower portion and being shaped for, in a situation, cooperating by interlocking with longitudinal interlocking elements provided on identical tiles, adjacent, offset downwards and located on the right and left; wherein said tiles of the cladding assembly are supported by structurally arranged members horizontally spaced apart to receive the tiles, where
at least one so-called central tile covers two so-called lower right and left tiles, said lower right and left tiles being adjacent, offset downwards and located respectively on the right and left of said central tile, said central tile having its interlocking elements complementary longitudinal elements that fit with the elements corresponding longitudinal interlocking of said lower right and left tiles, and
said central tile is covered by two so-called upper right and left tiles, said upper right and left tiles being adjacent, offset upwards and situated to the right and left respectively of said central tile, said central tile having its longitudinal interlocking elements which fit together with the longitudinal complementary fitting elements of said upper right and left tiles;
said cladding assembly being remarkable in that it further comprises a plurality of tile retainers on the structural members, each retainer having a generally U-shaped arch shape and including a base and a first and a second second flanges extending opposite each other on said base, each flange having an interlocking member of complementary shape to that of a longitudinal interlocking element, each retaining device being provided for cooperating with the longitudinal edge of a tile, on the one hand, by fitting the interlocking member of a first wing on a longitudinal interlocking element formed on a lateral strip along said longitudinal edge and, on the other hand, on the other hand, by placing the second flange of the retaining device under a structural element, each retaining device being away from the upper edge of the retaining tile by a distance of between 0.3 and 0.5 times the length of the tile;
and in that, for the or each central tile, two retaining devices hold it to a structural element and, for each of its two retaining devices, the first wing has its interlocking member which fits onto an element longitudinal interlocking of said central tile and the first wing has an inner edge which passes over the corresponding lower right or left tile.

Thus, in a situation, a cladding tile covers two adjacent tiles, offset downwards and located respectively to the right and to the left, and at the same time this cladding tile is covered by two adjacent tiles, shifted upwards and located respectively at right and left, thus ensuring double overlaps along each longitudinal edge of the tile, which ensures cohesion and stability of mutual overlapping tiles, and thus a stability of each tile. In other words, the tile is overlapping with two tiles on the right (by covering a lower tile on the right and being covered by a tile upper right) and is also overlapping with two tiles on the left (covering a lower tile on the left and being covered by a top tile on the left).

Within the meaning of the invention, the longitudinal interlocking elements provided on the outer face extend only on the upper portion, without reaching the lower portion, and the longitudinal complementary fitting elements provided on the inner face extend only under the lower portion without passing under the upper portion.

The longitudinal interlocking elements are made in the form of ribs (male elements) and the longitudinal complementary interlocking elements are made in the form of grooves (female elements) or, conversely, the longitudinal interlocking elements are made in the form of grooves (female elements) and the longitudinal complementary interlocking elements are made in the form of ribs (male elements).

In addition, the retaining devices form hooks that allow to pick the tiles on the structural elements, thus ensuring their retention and thus minimizing the risk of falling. It is therefore not necessary to provide the screwing or nailing of the tiles on the structural elements. Even if such a screwing / nailing is imposed, in particular by standards or regulations, these retainers greatly facilitate screwing operations because the tiles are well held without risk of falling, so it is easy to screw a tile without having to take special precautions such as holding the tile during screwing, thus increasing the comfort of installation and reducing installation time.

It should be noted that each retaining device is not positioned at the upper edge of the central tile that it retains on a longitudinal edge, but is remote to retain the central tile concerned near its middle, thereby increasing the stability of the tile thus retained.

Finally, the retaining device participates in the plating of the central tile on the lower right or left tile which it partially overlaps, increasing the retention of the tiles.

Indeed, the object of the invention provides a cladding solution which guarantees a hooking wall cladding tiles on the structural elements, thus ensuring their retention and thus minimizing the risk of falling, in cooperation with cohesion and stability of mutual overlapping of the tiles, thanks to restraining devices which are hooked, on the one hand, on a structural element and, on the other hand, on central tiles, substantially halfway up these central tiles, while passing over the lower right and left tiles, so that each central tile is hooked onto a structural element while being pressed onto the lower left and right tiles by the restraining devices, thereby preventing these tiles from lifting when for example, the action of the wind.

It should be noted that the longitudinal interlocking elements cooperating with the retaining devices are made in the form of ribs (male elements) and thus the interlocking members of these retaining devices are made in the form of grooved rails (elements females) or, conversely, these longitudinal interlocking elements are made in the form of grooves (female elements) and the interlocking members are made in the form of ribs (male elements).

According to one feature, each central tile has its upper transverse edge which is adapted to rest on a first structural member, and the two lower left and right tiles have their upper transverse edges which rest on a second structural member parallel to the first member of structure and offset downward, wherein the two retainers, which fit on the longitudinal interlocking elements of said central tile, are adapted to be hooked under the second structural member while being plated on the upper edges of said lower tiles right and left.

Advantageously, the tile is symmetrical with respect to a median plane extending parallel to its longitudinal edges, for symmetrical overlaps with the two adjacent tiles on the right and on the left.

In a particular embodiment, for each tile, its outer face has a stepped conformation with a lower step and an upper step raised with respect to the lower step, wherein said upper step extends over part of the width of the tile and is bordered to the right and left by lateral bands substantially at the same level as the lower step, where the lower step extends over the entire width of the tile and forms the lower portion of the outer face and the upper step and the bands lateral portions form the upper portion of the outer face, said lateral bands extending between the respective longitudinal edges and the upper step, the longitudinal interlocking elements of the upper portion are provided on said sidebands, and the longitudinal complementary interlocking elements are provided on its inner face below the lower step,
and the or each central tile completely overlies the side strips of the lower right and left tiles so that its longitudinal edges are substantially contiguous with the upper steps of said lower right and left tiles, and said central tile has its side bands completely covered by the tiles upper right and left, thus providing a homogeneous appearance to the roof tiles.

Such an embodiment makes it possible substantially to obtain a coplanarity of a lower step with the upper steps of the adjacent tiles offset downwards, to provide a regular aesthetic effect of the roof.

According to one characteristic, the lower portion (or the lower step) extends from the lower edge over a length of between 0.4 and 0.6 times the total length of the tile, and the upper portion (or the upper step ) extends from the upper edge over a length of between 0.6 and 0.4 times the total length of the tile.

According to another characteristic, for each tile, the lower step is substantially flat, and the side strips are coplanar to said lower step.

According to another characteristic, for each tile, the upper step is substantially flat.

According to another characteristic, for each tile, the height of the upper step taken from the lower step, is substantially equivalent to the thickness of the tile taken on the lower step. Although not mandatory, this feature is aesthetically advantageous because it allows the upper step of a tile to be coplanar with the lower steps of the two adjacent tiles, shifted upwards and located respectively on the right and left.

Selon une possibilité de l'invention, chaque tuile présente une forme générale rectangulaire, et la marche supérieure présente une forme générale rectangulaire limitée par deux côtés longitudinaux parallèles aux bords longitudinaux et formant des degrés vis-à-vis des bandes latérales respectives, et par un côté inférieur parallèles aux bords transversaux et formant un degré vis-à-vis de la marche inférieure ;
According to a possibility of the invention, each tile has a generally rectangular shape, and the upper step has a generally rectangular shape limited by two longitudinal sides parallel to the longitudinal edges and forming degrees vis-à-vis the respective lateral bands, and by a lower side parallel to the transverse edges and forming a degree vis-à-vis the lower step;
and the or each central tile has its lower edge that aligns with the lower sides of the upper steps of the lower right and left tiles, and said center tile has the lower side of its upper step that aligns with the lower edges. upper right and left tiles, again to provide a homogeneous appearance to the roof tiles.

Dans une réalisation particulière, pour chaque tuile, sa face externe présente au moins un élément d'emboîtement supérieur s'étendant le long du bord supérieur, et la face interne présente au moins un élément d'emboîtement complémentaire inférieur s'étendant le long du bord inférieur, où ledit élément d'emboîtement complémentaire inférieur est conformé pour, en situation, coopérer par emboîtement avec un élément d'emboîtement supérieur prévu sur une tuile identique, adjacente et située directement vers le bas dans l'alignement de ladite tuile ;
In a particular embodiment, for each tile, its outer face has at least one upper interlocking element extending along the upper edge, and the inner face has at least one lower complementary interlocking element extending along the lower edge, wherein said lower complementary interlocking element is shaped to, in a situation, cooperate by interlocking with an upper interlocking element provided on an identical tile, adjacent and situated directly downwards in the alignment of said tile;
and the or each central tile covers a so-called lower aligned tile, said aligned lower tile being adjacent, offset downward and located in alignment with said central tile, said central tile having its lower complementary nesting element which fits together with the upper interlocking element of said aligned lower tile, and the or each central tile is covered by a so-called upper aligned tile, said aligned top tile being adjacent, offset upward and located in alignment with said central tile said central tile having its upper interlocking member which engages with the lower complementary interlocking element of said aligned top tile.

Thus, in addition to presenting the double overlays to the right and to the left, the tile is covered at the top by an adjacent tile located directly upwards in its alignment, and it covers at the bottom another adjacent tile located directly downwards in its alignment.

The upper interlocking element is in the form of a rib (male element) and the lower complementary interlocking element is in the form of a groove (female element) or, conversely, the upper interlocking element is in the form of a groove (female element) and the lower complementary interlocking element is in the form of a rib (male element).

According to one characteristic, each retaining device has a symmetry along a median plane passing through the middle of the base.

This feature is particularly advantageous because it allows to use a retainer indifferently to the right or left of a tile. In this way, all the retaining devices will be identical, and it will be sufficient to return the retaining device to cooperate with a longitudinal right or left edge of a tile.

According to another characteristic, for each retaining device, the wings each have a toothed inner edge with several teeth distributed on this inner edge.

The inner edge of a wing will either bear against the structural element, or abut against an adjacent tile, so that its teeth will promote the retention on the structural element and the attachment on this tile adjacent.

Advantageously, the teeth are directed substantially towards the base; such an orientation favoring attachment.

In a particular embodiment, each retaining device comprises a gripping tongue protruding from the base, thus making it easy to catch and handle the retaining device.

With reference to Figures 1 and 2 , a cladding assembly according to the invention comprises several tiles 1 cladding based on elements of structure 2 of beam type, where these tiles 1 are retained on these beams 2 by means of retaining devices 3.

The tiles 1 are identical and each tile 1 has a generally rectangular shape.

Each tile 1 has two opposite faces, respectively internal 10 and outer 11, the outer face 11 being provided to be on the outside, facing the weather, while the inner face 10 is intended to be on the inside and come to bear against a beam 2.

Each tile 1 presents:
  • in the direction of the length of the tile 1, the longitudinal edges 12, respectively right and left, and
  • in the direction of the width of the tile 1, transverse edges, respectively lower 13 and upper 14.

Chaque tuile 1 est symétrique par rapport à un plan médian s'étendant parallèlement à ses bords longitudinaux 12Each tile 1 is symmetrical with respect to a median plane extending parallel to its longitudinal edges 12

  • une marche inférieure 110 plane s'étendant à partir du bord inférieur 13 sur toute la largeur de la tuile 1 jusque sensiblement le milieu de la face externe 11, cette largeur correspondant à la distance entre les bords longitudinaux 12 ;
The outer face 11 has a stepped conformation and comprises:
  • a plane lower step 110 extending from the lower edge 13 over the entire width of the tile 1 to substantially the middle of the outer face 11, this width corresponding to the distance between the longitudinal edges 12;
  • an upper step 111 planar and of rectangular shape raised or projecting relative to the lower step 110 and extending substantially from the upper edge 14 to substantially the middle of the outer face 11.

The upper step 111 extends over a portion of the width of the tile 1, so that the upper step 111 is bordered on the right and left by lateral strips 112 at the same level as the lower step 110, and more precisely coplanar with the lower step 110.

The upper step 111 has a generally rectangular shape limited by two longitudinal sides 1112 parallel to the longitudinal edges 12 and forming degrees vis-à-vis the respective side strips 112, and by a lower side 1113 parallel to the transverse edges 13, 14 and forming one degree vis-à-vis the lower step 110.

La hauteur de la marche supérieure 11 prise en partant de la marche inférieure 110 (et qui correspond à la hauteur des côtés 1112, 1113), est sensiblement équivalente à l'épaisseur de la tuile 1 prise sur la marche inférieure 110.The height of the upper step 11 taken from the lower step 110 (and which corresponds to the height of the sides 1112, 1113), is substantially equivalent to the thickness of the tile 1 taken on the lower step 110.

The lower step 110 extends from the lower edge 13 over a length LI between 0.4 and 0.6 times the length of the tile 1 (this length corresponding to the distance between the transverse edges 13, 14), and the upper step 111 extends from the upper edge 14 over a length of between 0.6 and 0.4 times the total length of the tile 1, where the sum of these two lengths LI, LS of the steps 110, 111 is equivalent to the length of the tile 1.

The outer face 11 also has, on each side strip 112, two longitudinal ribs 113, 114, parallel and protruding from the outer face 11, and more precisely protruding from the corresponding lateral strip 112, and extending along the longitudinal edge 12 corresponding. In a variant not shown, the outer face 11 has, on each side strip 112, a single longitudinal rib, which may be sufficient for use in cladding.

To the right and left of the tile 1, the ribs 113, 114 comprise an outer rib 113 and an inner rib 114, the outer rib 113 being located closer to the corresponding longitudinal edge 12 than the inner rib 114. More specifically, the rib 113 is located in the extension of the corresponding longitudinal edge 12.

The ribs 113, 114 are of the same length and are shorter than the longitudinal sides 1112 of the upper step 111, so that these ribs 113, 114 extend from the upper edge 14 only on the side strips 112, without reaching the lower step 110. Thus, these ribs 113, 114 have a length of between 0.4 and 0.6 times the length of the tile 1.

Le rabat supérieur 115 présente une largeur équivalente à celle de la marche supérieure 111.The outer face 11 also has an upper flap 115 along the upper edge 14, the upper flap 115 forming an upwardly projecting rib, and being separated from the upper step 111 by a transverse notch. The upper flap 115 has a width equivalent to that of the upper step 111.

The inner face 10 has at least one attachment element projecting near the upper edge 14. In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. figure 2 this hooking element is composed of two tenons 100, or retaining fingers, protruding from the inner face 10 and intended to cooperate with a beam 2. These tenons 100 are spaced from each other in the transverse direction of the tile 1 and are formed near the upper edge 14 of the tile 1.

The inner face 10 also has a lower groove (not visible) along the lower edge 13; this lower groove being provided to fit or mate with the upper flap 115 of an adjacent tile 1 located immediately below and thus covered by the tile from above.

The inner face 10 also has, along each longitudinal edge 12, two grooves 103, 104 longitudinal and parallel, with two grooves on the right and two grooves on the left. These grooves 103, 104 comprise an outer groove 103 and an inner groove 104, the outer groove 103 being located closer to the corresponding longitudinal edge 12 than the inner groove 104. In a variant not shown, the inner face 10 has, along each longitudinal edge 12, a single longitudinal groove, this variant being adapted to the case where the outer face 11 has, on each side strip 112, a single longitudinal rib.

Les rainures 103, 104 s'étendent principalement en-dessous de la marche inférieure 110 de la face externe 11.These grooves 103, 104 form female interlocking elements adapted to receive the ribs 113, 114 of adjacent tiles, offset downwards and situated immediately to the left and to the right; the ribs 113, 114 thus forming complementary zones of male interlocking. More specifically, an outer rib 113 engages an inner groove 104, while an inner rib 114 engages an outer groove 103. The grooves 103, 104 extend mainly below the lower step 110 of the outer face 11.

Thus, a so-called central tile 1 is covered on the top right and left, on either side of the upper step 111 of its outer face 11, by two adjacent tiles 1 said upper right and left; these tiles 1 upper right and left being located respectively to the right and left and being shifted upward (that is to say, and partly above the tile 1 central). For this recovery, it should be noted that:
  • the grooves 103, 104 of these tiles 1 upper left and right fit with the ribs 113, 114 of the tile 1 central,
  • these tiles 1 upper left and right completely cover the side strips 112 of the tile 1 central,
  • the longitudinal edges 12 of these tiles 1 upper right and left are substantially contiguous with the longitudinal sides 1112 right and left of the upper step 111 of the tile 1 central,
  • the lower edges 13 of these tiles 1 upper right and left are in alignment with the lower side 1113 of the top step 111 of the tile 1 central.

Thus, the central tile 1 is partly covered by these tiles 1 upper right and left on its longitudinal edges 12 to the right and left and about half of its length.

This same central tile 1 covers itself on the bottom, on the right and on the left, two adjacent tiles 1 said lower right and left; these tiles 1 lower right and left being located respectively right and left and being shifted downwards (that is to say, and partly below the tile 1 central). For this recovery, it should be noted that:
  • the ribs 103, 104 of these lower right and left tiles 1 are interlocked with the grooves 103, 104 of the central tile 1,
  • the central tile 1 completely covers the corresponding lateral strips 112 of these tiles 1 lower right and left,
  • the longitudinal edges 12 of the central tile 1 are substantially contiguous with the longitudinal sides 1112 concerned of the upper steps 111 of these tiles 1 lower right and left,
  • the lower edge 13 of the central tile 1 is in alignment with the lower sides 1113 of the upper steps 111 of these tiles 1 lower right and left.

This same tile 1 central covers a tile 1 said lower aligned; this lower aligned tile 1 being adjacent, offset downwards and located in alignment with the central tile 1 (that is to say directly below the central tile 1), for this recovery, it should be noted that the lower groove of the central tile 1 comes to fit on the upper flap 115 of the lower tile 1 aligned.

This same tile 1 central is covered by a tile 1 said upper aligned; this tile 1 upper aligned being adjacent, shifted upwards and located in alignment with the tile 1 central (that is to say directly above the tile 1 central), For this recovery, it should be noted that the upper flap 115 of the central tile 1 comes to fit with the lower groove of the upper tile 1 aligned.

The retainers 3 are all identical and are described hereinafter with reference to the figure 4 . The retaining device 3 can be realized in one piece, in a metal material, and in particular by stamping and folding a sheet.

Each retaining device 3 has the general shape of a "U" arch and comprises a base 30 and a first and a second flange 31 extending vis-à-vis on either side of the base 30; the base 30 connecting the two wings 31 between them.

Chaque dispositif de retenue 3 présente une symétrie selon un plan médian PM passant au milieu de l'embase 30.Each retaining device 3 has a symmetry along a median plane PM passing in the middle of the base 30.

Each wing 31 has an outer edge 32 and an inner edge 33, the inner edge 33 being located on the inside of the arch. Each wing 31 has a grooved rail 34, of "U" -shaped cross-section, open on the inside of the arch, this rail 34 extending along the corresponding outer edge 32, and which can be obtained by double folding at level of this outer edge 32. The rails 34 are parallel to each other and face each other.

Each inner edge 33 is toothed having several regularly distributed teeth, these teeth being directed substantially in the direction of the base 30, to facilitate the insertion of the retaining device 3 and hinder its removal for good adhesion. In addition, the free ends of the wings 31 are bevelled on the inner edges 33 to define a flared passage between the wings 31, and thus facilitate the insertion of the retaining device 3.

The following description relates to the use of a retaining device 3 for hanging and holding a tile 1, said first tile, on a beam 2.

The retaining device 3 cooperates with the longitudinal edge 12 of the first tile 1 by:
  • fitting the rail 34 of a first flange 31 on an outer rib 113 formed along the longitudinal edge 12; and in
  • placing the second wing 31 under a beam 2.

Autrement dit, le dispositif de retenue 3 est situé substantiellement au milieu du bord longitudinal 12.The retaining device 3 is located substantially mid-length of the tile 1, and more precisely at the bottom of the outer rib 113; the bottom of the outer rib 113 corresponding to its part located on the lower edge side of the tile 1. In other words, the retaining device 3 is located substantially in the middle of the longitudinal edge 12.

At the same time, the first wing 31 has its inner edge 33 which passes over a second tile 1 of the right or left lower tile type (that is to say, as a reminder, a tile adjacent to the first tile, shifted down and immediately to the right or left of the first tile 1); this second tile 1 overlapping to partially recall the longitudinal edge 12 of the first tile 1. The first wing 31 even bears against this second tile 1, thus plating this second tile 1 against the first tile 1.

Thus, with the retaining device 3 situated substantially in the middle of the longitudinal edge 12 of a tile 1, this tile 1 is placed on the lower and lower right tiles 1 and prevents these tiles from being lifted when, for example, action of the wind.

In situation, each central tile 1 has its upper transverse edge 14 which rests on a first beam 2, and the two left and right lower tiles 1 have their upper transverse edges 14 which rest on a second beam 2 parallel to the first beam 2 and shifted downwards, this second beam 2 passing substantially in the middle of the tile 1 central. The two retaining devices 3 of the central tile 1, which fit on the outer ribs 113 of said central tile 1, are hooked under this second beam 2 while being plated on top of the upper edges 14 of these lower tiles 1 right and left.

The symmetry of the retaining device 3 makes it possible to place it indifferently on the right or on the left of the tile 1. Moreover, the spacing between the inner edges 33 of the two wings 31 allows the retaining device 3 to come to overlap the beam 2 passing over a tile 1 while cooperating with the outer rib 113 of another tile 1.

Of course the implementation example mentioned above is not limiting and other improvements and details can be made to the cover assembly according to the invention, without departing from the scope of the invention where other forms of tile may for example be made, including other forms for its steps, and / or other forms of the retaining device, which may for example be made of several elements secured.
