An archive box made from a cut and folded blank (1), said blank (1) being constituted by a strip (2) having folding lines (7; 8; 9; 10) in order to successively define a front face (12-19), a bottom (26), a rear face (27), a top (28) and a closing flap (29) on the front face (12-19), said strip (2) laterally carrying, on either side thereof, blanks (4-3; 32) hinged thereto by folding lines in order to constitute the lateral walls of the box once formed, at least one of the lateral walls being formed by appending two blanks, one blank (3-4) being carried by the front face (12-19) and the other blank (32) being carried by the rear face (27), one being the inner blank and the other being the outer blank, each blank (4-3; 32) being connected to its associated face (12-19; 27) by a folding line (20-14; 35), the box being characterized in that each blank carries, on its edge opposite to said folding line (20-14; 35), a tab (24; 39), a notch (42-41; 21) being further formed on each of the folding lines (35; 20-14) of the blanks (32; 4-3) such that, when both blanks (32; 4-3) are appended, the tab (24; 39) of one of the blanks (4-3; 32) being configured to be inserted within the notch (42-41; 21) formed on the folding line (35; 20-14) of the other blank (32; 4-3), the tab of the outer blank is inserted within the notch formed on the folding line of the inner blank in order to close the lateral wall.
  2. The archive box according to claim 1, characterized in that the two lateral walls are identical, symmetrical with respect to the mean longitudinal line of the strip (2).
  3. The archive box according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the inner tab (24) is inserted within the notch (42-41) formed in the folding line (35) of the outer blank (32) in order to form a pulling element protruding on the exterior of the box resting vertically on its bottom (26), the pulling element (24) being connected to the associated inner blank (4-3) by a folding line (25c).
  4. The archive box according to claim 3, characterized in that the pulling element (24) has a front, back or double-sided marking/indexation/identification area which is preferably arranged in the free end region of the pulling element (24).
  5. The archive box according to one of claims 3 and 4, characterized in that the pulling element (24) has a hole (25a) to allow the user's finger to pass therethrough.
  6. The archive box according to claim 5, characterized in that one of the edges (25d) of the hole (25a) is arranged along the folding line (25c) associated with the pulling element (24), the hole (25a) extending from this edge (25d) toward the free end of the pulling element (24).
  7. The archive box according to one of claims 1-6, characterized in that ear-shaped lateral parts (33) are associated with the bottom part (26), which ear-shaped lateral parts (33) are able to be folded against the bottom part (26) when erecting the box in order to constitute a bottom reinforcing element.

The archive box according to one of claims 6 and 9 when combined, characterized in that the notch (42-41) for receiving the pulling element (24) is enlarged by a notch (41) formed in the rear face (27) and that the second flap (34) has, along its inner border (48), at its end region, a protrusion (49) forming a lug for locking the pulling element (24) against the rear face (27) and able to be positioned within this notch (42) in the folded position, the width of the second flap (34) being, in said end region, reduced to allow the second flap (34) to pass on the pulling element (24) when the latter is in its folded position within the box against the rear face (27), the edge (25d) of the hole (25a) located along the folding line (25c) between the pulling element (24) and its associated blank (4) allowing said protrusion (49) forming the locking lug to pass therethrough.

The archive box according to one of claims 9-10, characterized in that the second flap (34) has, along its outer border (47), a recess (50) in order to form an end region able to pass on the tab (39) arranged away from the pulling element (24) when the box is erected, said tab (39) thus being in the state applied against the front face (4-3).
  12. The archive box according to one of claims 1-11, characterized in that its closing flap (29) against the front face (12-19) extends by a keying tab (31) able to be inserted within a slot (13) formed in the front face of the archive box in order to close it, said tab (31) being connected to said closing flap (29) by a folding line (30b).
  13. The archive box according to claim 12, characterized in that the slot (13) has a rectilinear shape, parallel to the folding lines formed in the strip (2), or has a curved shape, with a concavity oriented towards the bottom (26) of the box in the mounted state, said slot (13) having rounded edges, and said closing flap (29) has, on either side of the keying tab (31), regions delimited by rounded edges (30a), intended to cover the front face (12-19) once the keying tab (31) is inserted within the slot (13).
  14. The archive box according to one of claims 9-13, characterized in that the front face (12-19) comprises two parts separated by a folding line (6) parallel to the bottom (26) of the archive box once erected, each blank (3-4) associated with the front face (12-19) being made of two parts, one part (3) being associated with the upper part (12) of the front face and the other part (4) being associated with the lower part, the part (3) of the blank associated with the upper part (12) of the front face comprising a border (17), which is the upper border in the position in which the box is rests on its bottom, having a rounded part (17a) at the vicinity of said upper part (12) of the front face and a remaining rectilinear part (17b), the pivoting of the upper part (12) of the front face around said folding line (6) with the parts (3) of the blanks associated with the upper part (12) of the front face guided, between the outer lateral face of the box and its second folded flap (34), being stopped by abutting the rectilinear part against the folding line (37) of said second flap (34).
  15. The archive box according to claim 14, characterized in that the upper part (12) of the front face comprises the slot (13) for receiving the keying tab (31) and the lower part (19) carries the tabs (24) and notches (21) associated with the lateral faces of the archive box.
