Abstract

The roll-up covering device consists of a swimming pool film, composite carriers oriented transversely to the longitudinal direction, a winding tube and tensioner of the swimming pool film. The composite support consists of three pieces, namely two side pieces and one middle piece. The two lateral pieces are connected to the middle piece by means of a movable inelastic or movable elastically restoring connection. With a load of the roll-up retractable device, the middle piece pushes on the water surface and the swimming pool film takes over the buoyancy most of the load and not the composite carrier itself.

Description

The invention relates to a roll-up covering device for a swimming pool which consists of a cover to the transversely oriented to the longitudinal direction carrier.

The object of the invention is to further improve a roll-up covering device of the type mentioned, wherein this can take over large loads, is still light in weight and is convenient for transport.

DE3906275 (A1 ).There are many roll-up covering devices known, for example DE3906275 (A1 ).

In all known solutions to increase the carrying capacity stronger carrier needs. Increased load capacity, usually aluminum tubes, increased load capacity also increases the weight of the roll-up cover and makes it difficult to roll up. As a result, a simple use of the roll-up cover device which serves as protection against dirt and as child protection is difficult. In all known solutions, the package in which one transports the roll-up cover at least as long as the length of the built-in carrier.

The roll-up covering device consists of swimming pool film (1), transverse to the longitudinal direction aligned composite carrier (2), a winding tube (3) and tensioner (4) of the swimming pool film, Fig. 1 ,

Composite support (2) consists of three pieces, namely two side pieces (5) and a middle piece (6) as on the Fig. 2 , The middle piece (6) and both side pieces (5) are attached in a straight line to the swimming pool sheet (1). The inner end pieces of the side pieces (8) are connected by a movable connection (9) to the middle piece (6). In a more cost effective embodiment of the composite support (2), the composite support (2) may consist only of the two lateral pieces (5) which are connected by means of a movable connection (9), Fig. 8 ,
Depending on whether the movable connection (9) is also resiliently resetting or not two versions of the roll-up cover device are possible.

Execution of the roll-up cover device with a movable connection (9) which is not resiliently resetting.
In a movable non-resilient restoring joint (15) between the middle piece (6) and both side pieces (5), the middle piece lays against the water surface, Fig. 3 , A simple embodiment of a movable non-elastically restoring compound (15) is also already a plastic band which is bound with one end to the inner end of the side piece (8) and with the other end to the end of the middle piece (10). Another simple embodiment of a movable non-resilient restoring connection (15) is on the pool sheet (1) mounted hem in which both side pieces (5) and the middle piece (6) are inserted. A movable non-resilient return connection (15) may also be a hinge. Both lateral pieces (5) are slightly curved at the outer end (7). Lateral pieces (5) abut with the outer end (7) on the Beckenumrandung (11) and are connected to the inner end (8) by means of a movable non-resilient restoring compound (15) to the middle piece (6). If the lateral pieces (5) were not curved at the outer end (7), the lateral piece (5) would rest on the basin edge (12) instead of on the pelvic border (11). This would have the consequence that the longitudinal edge (13) of the roll-up covering device instead of the pool border (11) abut into the air.
The load of the roll-up covering device along the middle piece (6) takes over the swimming pool film (1) by the buoyancy and the expansion in the swimming pool film (1), Fig. 4 ,

The elongation in the swimming pool film (1) in the longitudinal direction of the composite supports (2) take over the composite supports (2) and the elongation transverse to the longitudinal direction of the composite supports (2) takes over the tensioners (4). The loading of the roll-up covering device along the middle piece (6) has no lasting effect on the middle piece (6) since this is usually made of light elastic plastic materials, which allow very large deflections without plastic deformation. The load of the roll-up covering device along the lateral pieces (5) take over the lateral pieces (5). The side pieces (5) are mostly light to long aluminum tubes which can withstand the loads up to 100Kg without deforming plastically and contribute to the weight of the roll-up cover little. The middle piece (6) is 2-3 times longer than the side pieces (5). If the middle piece (6) of lightweight plastic materials is also the composite support (2) is much lighter than the non-composite support made of aluminum. As a result, the handling of the roll-up cover device is easier.
In the swimming pool film (1) and one-way valves (14) can be installed. These drain the rainwater from the surface of the pool liner (1) into the pool. The pool sheet (1) has a similar specific gravity as the water and the middle piece (6) usually has a pipe shape and is closed at both ends which gives it a relatively high lift. The tensioned roll-up covering device thus has enough buoyancy so that most of the rainwater flows through the one-way valves (14) into the basin. The one-way valves (14) are located in the middle of the two composite supports (2). The one-way valves (14) are locked in the load of the swimming pool film (1) and do not allow the entry of the pool water to the surface of the swimming pool film (1). You can also lock the one-way valves (14) so that the rainwater does not mix with the pool water. In that case the rainwater is removed by means of a pump.
When rolling up the roll-up cover device, the composite carrier (2) stretches when abutting on the already rolled collar (17) because the middle piece (6) and the two lateral pieces (5) and attached to the pool sheet (1) in a straight line are, Fig. 5 , Extended composite beam (2) stretches the pool sheet (1) along the composite beam (2). If the swimming pool film (1) were not stretched along the composite carrier (2), the roll-up covering device would not curl up into a bundle but into an informal shape during rolling up. Execution of the roll-up cover device with a movable connection (9) which is elastically resetting.
In a movable elastic restoring connection (16) between the middle piece (6) and both side pieces (5), the middle piece (6) is not on the water surface, Fig. 6 , Composite support (2) is stretched out like a non-composite support. Both lateral pieces (5) do not need to be curved at the outer end (7) because they attach horizontally to the pelvic border (11).
Upon loading of the roll-up covering device along the lateral pieces (5), first the two flexible elastically restoring joints (16) bend, Fig. 7 , The lateral piece (5) abuts with its inner end (8) to the water surface. The lateral pieces (5) are usually shorter than in and out of aluminum tubes and can withstand the stresses of about 100Kg without plastic deformation. Upon loading of the roll-up retractor along the middle piece (6), first, the two movable elastically restoring joints (16) will bend. The middle piece (6) rests against the water surface and the swimming pool film (1) takes over most of the load in the form of buoyancy and expansion in the swimming pool film (1). The composite carrier (2) extends after the end of the load because of the movable elastic restoring compounds (16) and returns to its original shape. Since the middle piece (6) is shorter than the composite support (2), and since most of the load takes over the pool sheet (1), the middle piece (6) may be of a smaller diameter aluminum tube than the uncompounded backing. As a result, the composite carrier (2) is lighter which allows easier handling of the roll-up cover device.
In a more cost effective embodiment of the composite support (2) where the composite support (2) consists only of the two lateral pieces (5) connected by means of a movable resilient return connection (16), the two lateral pieces (5) are not exposed the water surface, Fig. 8 , Composite carrier (2) from both side pieces (5) is stretched out like a non-composite carrier.
Upon loading of the roll-up cover device along the lateral pieces (5), the movable elastically restoring joints (16) bends. The two lateral pieces (5) abut with the inner end (8) on the water surface. The Nachsetzen the lateral pieces (5) prevents attached to the side pieces (5) swimming pool film (1) by the buoyancy, Fig. 9 , The length of a lateral piece (5) is only half of the length of the carrier in one piece and thereby the lateral piece (5) is much more resilient than the carrier in a piece if both of the same material and the same shape are in the cut. Since the lateral piece (5) can withstand the maximum allowable load of the carrier in one piece with a smaller diameter, the lateral piece (5) is also lighter due to lower material consumption, and thereby easier handling of the roll-up covering device is made possible. The composite carrier (2) extends after completion of the load because of the movable elastic restoring connection (16) and returns to its original shape.
A simple movable elastic return connection (16) is also already a flexible band or tube having one end on / in the inner end of the side piece (8) and the other end on / in the end of the middle piece (10 ) or at / in the inner end of the lateral piece (8) is bound.
A movable resilient return connection (16) in which one can adjust the flexing force of the composite support (2) consists of a U-profile (19), two axles (20), two threaded end pins (22), two washers (24) and two nuts (23), FIGS. 12 and 14 , Both axes (20) are each fixed at one end of the U-profile (19) transversely to the longitudinal axis of the U-profile (19) through the holes (26), Fig. 11 . Fig. 12 , On both axes (20) pieces (18) through the holes (25) are fixed, Fig. 10 , Piece (18) can be both a side piece (5) and a middle piece (6). U-profile (19) has two openings (27) in the middle in which both pins (22) are embedded in the middle. The pieces (18) have openings (29) through which pass the pins (22). Between the opening (29) and the spring (21) which is inserted on the pin (22) there is a washer (24) which prevents the spring (21) from advancing through the opening (29). At the end of the pin (22) a nut (23) is screwed which presses the piece (18) by means of spring (21) in the direction U-profile (19), Fig. 14 , When the piece (18) is loaded, the piece (18) rotates about the axis (20) and compresses the spring (21), FIGS. 13 and 15 , Angle between the two pieces (18) changes. After termination of the load, the spring (21) extends back to the starting position and the angle between the two pieces (18) is again the same as before the load. In the piece (18) opposite the opening (29) is also an opening (30) which allows easier screwing the nut (23), Fig. 10 ,
In the swimming pool film (1), the drainage holes are necessary when using the movable elastic restoring connection (16). These drainage holes are the same as in a roll-up cover device with non-composite straps.
Composite carrier (2) is stretched when rolling up the roll-up cover since there is no load on it during this process. The rolling up is the same as in the roll-up cover devices with non-composite carriers.
A composite carrier (2) consists of pieces no longer than half of the carrier in one piece. As a result, it is also possible to pack the roll-up cover device much smaller for transport. Replacing a movable connection (9) with a non-movable connection gives a composite support with the similar characteristics of the support in one piece but with the possibility to pack it smaller. To make the package even smaller you can put the side pieces (5) of two pieces which connects a stationary connection. A simple immovable connection is already a tube in which two pieces (18) are inserted. The take-up tube (3) is assembled by means of immovable connection because of the transport of at least two pieces.
