Die Erfindung betrifft ein Betätigungselement zum Betätigen einer Klemmfeder einer Anschlussklemme. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung eine Anschlussklemme zum Anschließen eines elektrischen Leiters, welche ein Betätigungselement zum Betätigen einer Klemmfeder aufweist.
Anschlussklemmen, auch elektrische Anschlussklemmen genannt, weisen meist ein Gehäuse, eine in dem Gehäuse angeordnete Stromschiene und eine in dem Gehäuse gelagerte Klemmfeder auf. In dem Gehäuse ist üblicherweise eine Leitereinführungsöffnung ausgebildet, über welche ein Leiter in das Gehäuse eingeführt werden kann, um in dem Gehäuse mittels der Klemmfeder gegen die Stromschiene geklemmt werden zu können. Sollen dünnen Leiter, d. h. Leiter mit einem kleinen Querschnitt, geklemmt werden, ist meist ein Betätigungselement vorgesehen, mittels welchem die Klemmfeder betätigt werden kann, indem das in den Innenraum des Gehäuses hineinragende Betätigungselement auf den Klemmschenkel der Klemmfeder drückt, so dass der Klemmschenkel verschwenkt wird und dadurch ein Leiteranschlussraum innerhalb des Gehäuses zwischen der Stromschiene und der Klemmfeder freigegeben werden kann, in welchen der Leiter dann ungehindert eingeführt werden kann. Ist der Leiter in dem Leiteranschlussraum in der gewünschten Position positioniert, kann das Betätigungselement den Klemmschenkel wieder freigeben, so dass der Klemmschenkel zurückschwenken kann bis er gegen den Leiter drückt und damit den Leiter gegen die Stromschiene klemmt. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zu Grunde, ein Betätigungselement und eine Anschlussklemme zur Verfügung zu stellen, mittels welchen beim Anschluss insbesondere dünner Leiter ein Fehlstecken des Leiters vermieden werden kann.
Die Lösung der Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäß mit einem Betätigungselement zum Betätigen einer Klemmfeder, wobei das Betätigungselement einen Betätigungsfinger, welcher eine Betätigungsfläche aufweist, mit welcher der Betätigungsfinger beim Betätigen der Klemmfeder auf einen Klemmschenkel der Klemmfeder drückt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Betätigungselement ein Abdeckelement umfasst, welches in Längserstreckung des Betätigungsfinger eine Verlängerung des Betätigungsfingers ausbildet, wobei das Abdeckelement seitlich an dem Betätigungsfinger angeformt ist.
Ferner erfolgt die Lösung der Aufgabe erfindungsgemäß mit einer Anschlussklemme zum Anschließen eines elektrischen Leiters, wobei die Anschlussklemme ein Gehäuse, eine Klemmfeder und ein erfindungsgemäßes Betätigungselement aufweist, wobei das an dem Betätigungsfinger des Betätigungselements angeformte Abdeckelement zumindest bereichsweise in einem zwischen dem Klemmschenkel der Klemmfeder und einem Bereich des Gehäuses ausgebildeten Spalt angeordnet ist.

In beiden Positionen überlappt das Abdeckelement 3 eine die Dicke des Klemmschenkels 9 ausbildende Querseitenfläche 20 des Klemmschenkels 9, indem das Abdeckelement 3 über diese Querseitenfläche 20 hinweg ragt. Claims (7)

  1. Operating element (1) for operating a clamping spring (8) of a connection terminal, comprising
